So disappointed by this place. It seems like no one is ever trained properly at the nail salons anymore. The the employees wear face masks, and the complimentary margarita was yummy but thats the only good thing I can say.One of the employees who was sitting at a nail desk across from me pulled her mask down and picked her teeth with her fingernail. So gross and unsanitary.My pedicure was not good. The scrub and massage were very weak and not thorough. As you can see in the pictures the polish looks like it was done by an amateur! I could have done a better job myself.When I went up to the desk to pay, one of the employees came to the desk but then just grabbed a bottle of something and walked away. The other employee who sits closest to the desk looked up at me but then just looked back down. Neither of these employees said a word to me. I stood there for a few minutes and finally just put cash on the counter and told the employee that I put my payment there. Again she barely grunted at me. No thank you, have a nice day, nothing! I realize now why this place has less than a 4 star rating. I wish I had taking that more seriously before throwing away my money. So many nail salons in this town. So hard to find one that is any good. 😒

I am so irritated. First when you walk in, they say I’ll be right with you and you end up being there for 30 mins no service then their employees work is literally a hit or miss. **PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE GOING INTO SALON** I typically read reviews before going into any establishment to better inform myself. However I did not book this appointment and did not know the name of the place. We went in on Friday the 20th of October for a little daughter/mommy and pre wedding. Although the nail techs were very friendly, we did struggle with letting them know what we wanted due to the language barrier. My daughter got the Deluxe and opted for the French manicure. That same night we went home and one of the nails had already chipped. Being that we went so late in the evening and had to travel early the next day, I waited but took pictures of both of our manicures and pedicures for reference. When I took a shower I started noticing that the polish from my toes started lifting and making it extremely painful to put the sheets over me while I slept. I had to leave my feet out because the sheet was pulling back. Today I went in to see if they could not only fix mine but my daughters as well. The male at the front told me “ I told you all when you came in about the polish. It chips away in 1-3 days”. I told him it started chipping the next day. He then said that had I come in the next day it would’ve been fixed but that we would have to pay again. Not wanting to argue with him in front of my two daughters I just left. I will never go back and I am warning others to stay away from this place. He NEVER told us anything about chipping and although we paid almost $300.00 I am highly disappointed in this place. They should focus on wanting the customers to come back and not only speak to us when they’re pushing for more money. That’s the only time they seemed to even listen. Stop supporting businesses like this and shop around for more reputable places.

I love going to Luminous. It’s a very nice salon. It’s very clean & professional technicians. I have gone there since opening. My artist is part owner & is at this salon & LV Lounge. I will follow her every where. I’m more than happy with this salon. It’s also a very pretty salon with adult beverages. ❤️

This place will have you waiting for over 45 minutes in a pedicure chair and no one will attend to you. It wasn’t even busy and they still took long to start in my pedicure.

I stopped here to get my nails removed prior to surgery and this is what I got. I asked him several times to clean them up and smooth them down and he would barely touch them and start applying clear polish again. Im going to have to go somewhere else to fix this and I wont be back.

This place picks what they want to give you. My sister and I both got something other than what we asked for. I asked for help picking a red color and I got pink because “it was pretty”. My sister asked for pink with white tips and got beige with white tips. When she asked the lady said “I did this because it looks better”. I also got cut on one of my fingers.

Ive given this nail salon too many chances and Im never going back. The man who greets at the front desk did my nails. He completely RUSHED while doing my nails causing him to burn me while filing and told me my nails werent crooked when I said they were. When I received my complimentary drink, I took a sip from the straw and felt a rock like object in my mouth. IT WAS A ROACH! I paid $50 for poor customer service and a roach in my mouth.

Every time I have gone to this nail salon they have been more concerned in money than the service they provide and how well their work comes out. Very over priced and rough with my nails, I’ve bled due to rushing and being rough no matter who I go to. I’m not one to write reviews, but this business needs to be recognized.

LYNN was amazing !! My fingers arent sore yall. Seriously so amazing and my nails are gorgeous!!! She was so sweet and very professional and I just loved our conversation! Definitely will be going back and wont be going anywhere else.

Paid $45 for a pedicure that my 12 year old could have done at home. Took over an hour did not scrub or clean skin. Completely disappointed in the LACK of customer service. The owner saw the TERRIBLE work and blew it off still requesting payment without an apology or discount. Wasted so much time and for what? STAY AWAY!

I had been going to this salon for years to get my pedicures done, and have never really had much to worry about! My cousin had gone and told me she got a toe infection from the last service she had, and wouldn’t go back. It made me wonder how clean/sterile their tools were, but I continued to go because I had never had never had an issue like that there, and figured I’d be fine! Fast forward to today, I had just been there a couple of days ago to get a pedicure and now I’m stuck with toe fungus:) Super sad cause of how much I had gotten used to the place, but it’s just gross and disappointing to know that some of the nail techs tools aren’t disinfected properly before taking the next client.

Still looking great after 1 week. I like mine short short.

I have given this place 3 visits, this last time was my last 👎🏼. Nice decor, but the technicians need more education on the gel process. I did not get a receipt. Got these done 2 days ago. They are turning yellow.

I go to this salon quite frequently, and this is the first time ive had a negative experience. If you are supposed to have a woman named Cindy do your nails, just wait for another technician. She cut 4 of my fingers with the dremel tool. When I winced she asked what was wrong. When I told her it hurt, she simply laughed and continued. One of my cuts was so bad that it’s still bloody today (I went last night around 5 pm) and is starting to even look yellow around the cut since she didn’t sanitize any of the cuts that she created. Other times I’ve been to this salon have been fine, and Cindy was very nice, but she’s not a good nail tech. I told two relatives about this afterwards and they say they’ve also had issues with her cutting them.

David worked on my friend and my nails today. We came here after having our nails completely messed up at another place. He made sure to take his time, and assured us that he could fix them. He did an amazing job. Great sense of humor too! Definitely only coming back here

I used to love coming here because the prices were reasonable, quality was good, and it was nearby. I went in on a Saturday night and the man who did my nails did them poorly and far too fast. The dip powder is lumpy, the top coat he used was so thick that when it was cured I had ugly ridges in my nails, not to mention the fact that he neglected to clean off my nails or add lotion/oil (especially since they had me soaking in acetone for so long). He also didnt even do the simple XO and heart design that i asked for. Oh, and to make things better, my nails have started lifting and this is only day 4 of having this set.

I was a frequent customer here until today. Service was rushed and horrible. I paid for the basic pedicure of which my technician answered her phone and talked while giving a massage with one hand. The pedicure was rushed and the job looked ridiculous. I opted to get a manicure(answered her phone 3 more times) same technician talked me into doing the dipping powder, I kept asking if this was to include cuticle cutting and massage like in the manicure and she said yes which in turn it did not. When she said I was done I had dipping powder all under my nails which I brought to her attention and she attempted to clean them but failed. When I paid I spoke with the manager there and all she said was sorry and that cuticle cutting was not included with the dip. Anna helped with getting under my nails clean, but unfortunately I will not be doing back. For the amount of money spent it was not worth it. I have spots on my nails that look like the polish already came of . Horrible customer service.

Always such great service at Luminous. I went in and they were able to quickly seat me for my fill/gel application. We even had time for a pedicure which, you should ABSOLUTELY get here. Their skill and attention to detail is unlike any other place Ive been to. If you havent stopped in, do yourself a favor.

So sad to have had such a poor experience! My friend and I meet here for some early Saturday morning mommy pampering time when we can sneak away. We get pedicures and even upgrade to get the longer massage. Today I am leaving barely able to walk as my heels were rubbed so hard that they are both cut and raw. The polish used must have been old because it took 3 hours to dry and it never got hard which means I will be having to repaint them myself tomorrow. I usually don’t write reviews but I know I read them when looking for a nail salon. If you are going to go here, find a technician that you like and stick with them. Don’t end up like me with cut and burning feet that you paid $50 for.

The stylists are all highly trained professionals. Had the most wonderful time with them! She is so fast and efficient! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made my hair beautifully! She had me out of there in less than an hour! She really makes you enjoy the service!

I had a manicure done with Shellac polish and it looked horrible. I tried to tell him, Danny, multiple times what needed to be fixed..which were polish smears, a second coat, filing, cuticle correction done, but my request was not understood. My daughter had a full set done and wanted a coffin cut done and was not told they charged extra for it to be done and she wanted an extra coat applied, but was received with hesitation and attitude that I did witness. When we questioned the bill we were told that there was an extra charge for the coffin file and asked if we were told. My daughter replied no...He didnt even talk to her except for asking about her polish choice. When we told him no, he rolled his eyes, shook his head and walked away. If he wouldve apologized for the inconvenience or showed any concern for his employees incompetence, I would not be writing this Unfortunately we did not receive that and was given attitude when we checked out. The place looks inviting and employees seem nice, but service, quality and instruction of charges...other then their check in price sheet, was very poor. Its to bad because the convenience of their location.

I do not recommend going for a simple shellac manicure, every time I go for a manicure they rush and do not care whether the finish product is good or not. When filing my nails the lady slit my skin and when she glossed my nails she rushed and didn’t coat the full nails or check to see that they looked fine.

The staff is really nice and actually listens to what you want, but also offers suggestions to help make your nails looks the absolute best. They offer you something to drink while you wait. My friend and I showed up right before closing and they didn’t make us feel unwelcome at all. This is my new permanent nail salon. I’m sticking around for a while.

I love this place.its close to my house so I can go anytime but every single time I go I have a really good experience. I love my nails always I go. Its affordable and they are nice. I recommend 100%.

I have been going here since they opened and Im very picky! My hands are super sensitive, but I love the work Tony does and he always makes sure to remember exactly how I like my nails. Tina is also good and super sweet. The manager always greets me and super sweet while you wait. Great place!

Second time here for pedicure and so far I have been very satisfied with sevice and price, $28 for classic and its not cut short for the price. I love the swirl margarita but they also have wine and water. The place is clean and classy. I am leaving the place now super relaxed!

I have had an amazing experience at this place. I have 2 techs Dan and Kerri! Both do an incredible job, and make you feel spoiled from beginning to end. I highly recommend this place. And for a truly unique pampering experience, ask for Dan or Kerri.

Went here for the first time today to get a fill on my ombre nails. Kim did a great job. She was very detailed and double checked my nails at every step to make sure everything was fine. They looked better that the first time. ( I got them done at a different salon the first time). I will definitely be back.

UPDATE: I wait at least 15 minutes every time I make an appointment now and its super frustrating. The last pedicure I got lasted just under 35 minutes with no massage. They keep giving me men who are really rough and it hurts. I specifically asked for a female and still got a man. And I too have gotten the its okay baby comment that others have talked about in their review. You need to step up your customer service.Written 6 months prior: Good service - I had an appointment and they were actually ready for me. I have a pet peeve when they make you wait when you have an appointment. They were very nice and did a great job on my pedicure. Added a pretty snowflake.

I want there since it opened and they started off really well. Little by little their service level dropped until it was eventually non existent. I used to go to Gwen and when she messed up on one of my nails and I went back to get it fixed she was wearing her feelings on her face and I waited over an hour to get one nail fixed. Totally unprofessional. The next time I went I was assigned to this same girl who then ran to the back and acted like she was sick and couldnt do my nails. The girl I got next could not speak English nor comprehend anything and to add insult to injury she was not going to use anesthetized tools until I called her out on it. This place went from being great to dirty, unprofessional, rude, and downright unworthy of my business. I would never recommend this unprofessional place to anyone nor will I ever give them my business again!!!! Thumbs down x 100! This place sux!

Out of all the times Ive been to this nail salon this is the worst experience. water was cold and i was an inconvenience for asking for warmer water- but it got changed. just seemed messy overall toward the end the service was better. came here because it is near my home. girl was nice but absent at times.

It was going good until I got this one guy who LITERALLY ripped my acrylic nails off of my real nails. At the end he broke two of my nails in half. I left and didn’t tip. Sorry not sorry.

Decided to give this place a try being that it’s close to my house and they offered 20% off. Not impressed at all, they did a horrible job on my manicure. I didn’t even let them paint my nails. Just wanted to leave. Also got a pedicure, they were in a hurry. No pampering at all. Will not be returning. I’ll stick with my mom and pop nail salon that pampers you and takes their time.

The team does a great job and has great attention to detail. After a few visits, you start to feel like family!

Ive been there 3 times and can actually say that I will keep coming back! I finally found someone that will not hurt me! 😊 Every time I have gone to get my nails done, my fingers come back bloody from the nail tech drilling/buffing my fingers more than my nails/cuticles. Also the techs listen to what you want done for a change and not to what they just want to give you and make you pay for. I recommend this place to all my friends and family!

I went in with a very broken thumbnail, I was seated with Amy. I tell he the main reason for my visit is my thumbnail. She says she can fix it but it will be shorter than the others? She does my nails and sure enough my left thumb was shorter than all the others. Almost all of my fingers were different lengths. Another tech fixed my thumbnail but needless to say my nails were far from “luminous”.

The place is really nice. I’m from out of town and I decided to try this place since everyone seems to have positive things to say. I came in for a routine shellac gel manicure. I would rate this place as 5-stars but Joy my technician seem to be having a bad day because she seem very frustrated with her equipment and was not very friendly. I felt like I was being rushed out or felt the need to apologized if I didn’t place my hand in the uv light right away. There was not much communication between us. The other staff members were really nice with the exception of Joy. Amazing how one person demeanor can ruin the experience.

Do not go here or if you do, don’t get “T”, you can’t miss him he has tattoos all over his face. I went once before for a pedicure, and it was a good experience with a lady. Went again with “T” for a full set and I tell him what I want, and he shows me a picture of what HE wants to do. I tell him I don’t want that certain design. Then I tell him I want shellac and he tells me he wants to do powder, like what? I’m the customer, I’m telling you what I want, not what you want me to get? Not only that, I tell him I want squared and he tells me he wants to do coffin. Because he likes “modern” nails. ITS NOT WHAT YOU WANT. Never have I ever experienced this with any nail tech before. It’s a shame. Don’t go with him!! I seriously had to walk out because of how obnoxious he was. Shaking his head and looking at the clock. Up your customer service game please.
