Diagnosed a video card for me free of charge even though he seemed busy and wasnt an A-hole about it. I lived in San Antonio for 5 years and luckily did not have to go see them often, but when I did they were by far the best and most reasonable cost-wise that I found.I went to another place which I wont name, who told me my video card was fried and I needed a new one. Just in case, I went to Mainframe and the guy told me it was just a fan that was broken. He then ordered it online for me and installed it with ZERO additional cost due to being quick and easy. They have a very reasonable pricing, they respond quickly and overall just a wonderful company. Im in Houston now and Im praying I can find someone as good as they were.

I have been to many computer repair places for various issues over the years, but this place is by far the best! I thought I had broken the hinge on my laptop. I took it to them, and it turned out to be part of the plastic case. They fixed it by the next day at a very reasonable price. Honesty and great customer service! I am going to be recommending them to everyone from now on.

Cody is an honest man with a lot of energy and passion for what he does. He saw the screen on my laptop that was loose and coming apart on the lower left end. I went to a lot of places (~4 places) and they wanted to charge and arm and a leg for a touch screen replacement saying it wasnt even worth opening my laptop. Cody was able to realign a hinge that was grinding on some screws connecting my screen..and the screen is doing great without any replacement. Being a student, my budget is limited and I was happy I didnt have to shell out a few hundred for a new screen. I also depend on my computer daily for work and study, and having him fix my problem in a few minutes was very impressive and much appreciated. Mainframe Computers honestly gave me the best service Ive ever received from any establishment be it a restuarant, healthcare, shopping center, etc. in years.Its a big testament when someone is honest and believes in clean, good hearted work, even though it may not yield the maximum possible profit. I can tell he wants to make an honest living doing the right thing. He was very happy, smiling, patient, and willing to answer questions along the way. You can tell his passion for problem solving is real, and while the repair looked like it wasnt going well, initially due to the complexity of my hinge Cody wouldnt give up and dug up a broken part grinding on the hinge, ultimately fixing the problem perfectly. I felt like he genuinely cared about getting my screen fixed. I recommended him to my friends, and I would recommend him to anyone needing any computer help. Its rare to find both expertise and good quality service in the same service provider! Cody is an exception to the rule!

Best computer repair business in town. They fixed multiple problems on my computer, and now it is in perfect working condition. Previously, I had taken my computer on 3 different occasions to a large computer repair business in town. The other business was unable to fix the problem.Mainframe fixed it the first time with no trouble at all, at a great rate.I would definitely recommend to anyone needing service on their computer or device.

After much research and consideration I cannot say how happy Iam that I took my computer to this repair shop. My desktop experienced a terrifying boot-up, restart, crash loop. No remedies at home seemed to work, no research proved to be fruitful. I was on the verge of giving up until I decided to take a shot and go to Mainframe. I gotta say Cody and his wife kept me calm, stayed in touch throughout the process, and narrowed down my issue to maybe the least expected outcome. If you live in San Antonio and have ANY computer related issues, go to this shop, they will take care of you.

Best Computer repair in the world. I have a Comptia A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP, and a MCSE and I bring my computers to them to get worked on. Just a Comptia A+ will get you a repair job at Best Buy. I have been to many computer repair shops, and some are ok but none as good as Mainframe. Jenny and Cody are really, really nice, too.

This Place is very cool, i walked in asking about a computer part from the early 2000s, most places in town i ask the same questions laughed or just told me they cant help.Cody was very nice and walked out with box of forgotten goodies from the good old days of computers. we didnt exactly find what i was looking for, but we found something that would work with my 2x agp slot (LOL).I know this isnt his wasnt his primary mission for his company, but it was really exciting telling old stories and talking about memories that the box of ancient parts brought up as we went through it.Anyway, i believe that Cody and Jenny are very good people and will do anything they can to help, so you should give them your business and im sure they wont let you down.Thanks,Billyjacks Wild America
