So happy I found Luxe Fitness!! I’ve been a member at my gym in CT for 23 years and on June 1st I tried a different gym (Luxe Fitness) and absolutely love it.. It’s very clean and super nice and have everything you need from free weights to hammer strength and machines.. Melissa is awesome!!!!! I will definitely be a member of this gym for 20 years hands down!!

5 stars hands down! Spotless! Every piece of equipment and class needed. From the moment you walk through the door your greeted by Melissa or Lynn. Any question you have is answered. No gym in a 20 mile radius compares to Luxe. .

Ive been going to this gym for about four years. Very friendly and courteous staff. Plenty of equipment to choose from for all fitness levels. Lots of free classes. Clean and welcoming. One of the better gyms Ive belonged to.

My fitness journey began 12 years ago as an over weight and insecure teenager wanting to commit to finding self esteem. I joined luxe for a free week trial, and then a 3 month membership. It was the quality of environment that made me develop self efficacy in fitness. Luxe defines the gold standard of fitness equipment, cleanliness, and above all staff. In these changing times of a global pandemic, Luxe was the first to open with major modifications for social distancing and mask enforcement. Staff welcomes members and interacts through their scheduled cleanings every hour. Despite this evolution, the culture remains unchanged. Luxe values cleanliness as a cornerstone for this new era of post pandemic uncertainty, and with their staff’s customer service does one thing remain unchanged: members come first. .

After being a member since 2011 I just informed the co owner that I wanted to cancel my membership. Her response was and I quote “I don’t care” what a great business who cares about their customers. Furthermore, the guest passes increased in price from $10 to $15 per session. Sad that a business tries to exploit more money during a time of crisis from many people who potentially aren’t working. Lost all respect for the business owners of Luxe fitness. Disgraceful

I absolutely love Luxe Fitness. It has everything I need . The members are so nice and the staff, it really feels like family . The gym is very clean and love the spin class .. lots of energy!!

Good clean gym. Never too busy

Ive been going to Luxe for a long time now, and I love this gym! Im always greeted by whoever is working at the front desk every morning when I walk in, and I always feel comfortable going there and working out on my own. As a young female in a gym, this is huge! The environment in Luxe is friendly and warm, and I never feel intimidated by whoever else is in there. I would recommend this gym to anybody!

Best gym in the area!! Tons of equipment and amazing classes. Love the sauna and this gym is kept extremely clean!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Can’t complain!

I Enjoy going to Luxe the people are friendly lots of equipment and it’s very clean. I always see the employees cleaning dusting spraying disinfectant on the equipment and weights. That’s always good to know. See you there and say hi.

I have been a member of Luxe Fitness for a number of years. The facilities are immaculate! If a piece of equipment breaks they have a quick turn around to have the machine up and running as quickly as possible. Their prices makes it a health club that is quite affordable too! Plus you are able to use either the facility in Wakefield or Westerly.

Exceptional facility! Great and friendly staff, clean and friendly environment and top of the line equipment! All of this and the great prices make this gym the best in the area.

Luxe fitness is a great facility! The shear size and amount of equipment inside are unmatched in the area! Over 20,000 square feet of fitness equipment!!! Great trainers on site for all levels of fitness needs!!! The cleanliness of the facility is also top notch! Not only are there alcohol gel stations throughout the facility, there are ready wipes and spray bottles with towels for the members to wipe down the equipment after use. All within a couple of feet of the machines that you are using. The workers are constantly vacuuming and wiping down the equipment as well. The equipment is well maintained and when taken out of service, repaired quickly. The locker rooms are clean, again the workers are constantly vacuuming inside when they are able to get in. For the money you wont find a better deal or fitness center to join!! Hours are great, the place never closes for holidays, storms etc. Highly recommended!!!!

This is a great fitness facility. I have been working out here most every weekday morning prior to work for over eight years. The locker room facilities are clean and 1st rate, and the staff is helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I have been going here for 6 years and it is always clean and they keep everything operational. Nice friendly staff as well. Their Holiday hours are also very accommodating. I love this place!

Great ambience. Not crowded. Music and decor are very relaxing. Patrons are polite and nice to chat with.

I go to the Westerly location. Its a good gym for the price. $20 bucks a month and that can be upgraded to 30 allowing you to do all the classes free. Big open weight lifting section, cardio area is big and theres rarely any waiting time. Theres a variety of machines. Staff is nice. Only real issue I have are the hours, wish it was a 24 hour gym or at least open til midnight. Other than that its a good gym.

The staff at Luxe Fitness is very misinforming. They told me that I could cancel my membership at any point in time which is very untrue! When I called to try to cancel it, they said I could not cancel it and I had to pay for the year! Ridiculous. How can anyone be forced to pay for a service they will never use? I am willing to even pay a fee to stop the membership but they dont have this. The staff needs to be more informed and honest with customers. You cannot tell a customer they can cancel at any time when they cannot! I am basically being forced to pay for this gym and I do not even go there or live in Westerly anymore.

These people have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I moved from the area 4 months ago and canceled my membership with plenty of notice. They continued to charge me for the following 3 months while I was never able to use their gym and when I closed the account they were charging I got an angry phone call from their assistant manager Ashley demanding that I pay them more money. When trying to explain the situation I was berated by her over the phone to the point that she would not let me speak. I finally got my word in tell her that I was no longer going to pay for a service that I was not able to use and was told Fine this conversation is over then, and hung up. I will be contacting the actual manager as soon as possible. I have no complaints about the facilities but beware that they will treat you, the paying customer, like dirt and try to scam you out of all the money they can.Update - I spoke with the manager this morning and am glad to report that everything was resolved in a polite and professional mannor with her. I dont know what was up with their asst. manager still.

Ok, Ive been going to this fitness center for 5 years now. Been going to gyms since 1982. Im 50 years old, but fit. I like the atmosphere, and I dont particularly go during busy hours. Plenty of machines of all kinds. I do cardio and lift. Staff is ok, usually busy behind the counter on their cel phones. One female employee, the shortest and skinniest and perhaps the youngest, is a workaholic, always vacuuming, wiping down machines, etc. Yet another one barely gets off of her swivel chair behind the counter. So you have all types working there.I like working out there. Hate the music. 5 years, same current top 20 bubble gum pop/rap tunes of the day. Oy vey. Its actually a rule. Employees are not allowed to change the station. A couple years ago I tried to bribe an employee with $20 to change the station for one day. She held fast to the rule.I dont know about the womens locker room/bathroom, I read another reviewer thought the bathrooms were clean, but she did not go into the mens locker room. I dont know how often the locker rooms/bathroom facilities are cleaned. I know not enough. I dont know if a janitorial service is used. I dont know if its part of the employees job description. But the bathroom facilities were dis-gus-ting. Wouldnt you think they would be cleaned every night? Three days in a row so far the same encrusted toilet...stains....remnants...I couldnt believe it. Walls could use a good bleaching. So if the locker rooms are like this, it just leads me to believe the weights/cardio area isnt well cleaned as it should be. So my advice : Wash hands. Wipe down machines before AND after use. Most users do not wipe machines. They have neither clue nor care of what germs can be caught. Oh and wash hands again. And take advantage of their anti-bacterial dispensers if you see them. Its not a bad gym. Just protect yourself, and bring your own music. Slim Whitman, Boy George, whatever your into.

Cardio equipment is junk

This club is horrible. They staff a bunch of children to work the desk they are not reliable or responsive and they are inflexible for cancellation.
