After trying to use Geek Squad to repair the computer I bought at Best Buy and watching them fail utterly to impress I looked up computer repair and Found James.Without having the send my computer away for weeks he was able to identify the problem and fix my computer. The only delay I got was that a part needed to be replaced to which James informed me of the part and even forwarded to me where I could purchase it, letting me be in control of my computer repair. Now my computer works great and is back to where I need it and through the process he was great making himself available for questions or concerns even after finishing the repair, at no additional cost.I do recommend calling ahead of time as he seems to have recently changed address and has yet to update it. I am so glad I found James. Wifes computer starts having problems and I tried to do a factory reset after backing it up. After removing Windows, the computer locks up requiring a BitLocker key that I did not have. No bypassing it. Talked with my tech friends who said I was going to need professional help. I explain the issue to James and he assures me that he can fix it at a low flat rate. I took it to him on a FRIDAY NIGHT and he has it ready for me the very next morning. It works better than I can ever remember it working and the WiFi issue I was having was also completely resolved. I am very happy with the results, price, and timeliness. I doubt any of the big stores could match this. James will be my first call any time I have a computer issue.

James has worked on 4 laptops for us in recent weeks and we couldnt be happier with his work, his prices or his professionalism. Plus, he did all the right things where COVID-19 is concerned. Safe pick up, drop off, you name it. Im responsible for around 60 -70 computers where I work and I feel very blessed to know that if something goes wrong with any of them well have James in our corner.

Wish I had the same experience as others who rated Jame 5 stars. Met with James for him to have a look at my laptop and was instructed to purchase a new screen. Called and texted him to drop my computer off to have new screen installed and he was unreadable for two days. Finally got a text back late on a Friday night and arranged for a drop off on Saturday morning, he was unavailable again and did not respond until Tuesday. Not a very professional way to conduct business. Took my laptop elsewhere only to find out there was nothin wrong with the screen but instead the housing compartment the screen sits in.

James is great! By far the lowest cost of anyone else in town to replace my laptop screen. James was quick and professional. The replacement screen that came in had some minor scratches I didn’t even notice, but James insisted on replacing it with a new one. He did the reinstall as soon as he got the part and was done same day. I highly recommend anyone to go here for any computer repair service. 6 stars.

Brought my laptop in for battery replacement that Best Buy said would take them 2 weeks to fix, ACE did it in 2 days for $20 cheaper. In addition they cleaned my laptop for free.

My laptop is a Dell Inspiration M731R and it is about six months old. I was having an awful time getting it to do anything before it would stall or lock up. I feel very fortunate that I found Affordable Computer Expert because their service is absolutley wonderful. My tech took my computer and completely brought it back new again! Turns out I had over 900 malware programs running which made my computer useless. He even helped me retrieve expensive software programs I though were lost. He took the time to go over everything he fixed and gave me pointers on how to avoid some of the ways these bugs get into a computer. He installed software to protect it from happening again. No way I could be happier with the outstanding service and very, very reasonable charges. I like to get on my computer and do what I need and get off. If it doesnt work I have no clue how to fix it. Affordable Computer Service is quick, knowledgeable, and treat you like a friend! They were a god send!

James was such a pleasant surprise. We had taken our computers to other repair shops that charged huge amounts of money and would lose our data or not actually fix the problem so I was skeptical when I saw someone advertising as Affordable.He managed to not only turn my 8 yr old hunk of barely functioning plastic back into the computer I am using right now at nearly the same efficiency of when I first bought it but he was able to replace my dads laptop keyboard and fix his functionality issues. Recently my laptop picked up a virus. After going thru the usual Fix my PC downloads, and free this and fix that, it made my situation even worse.I called a number of places and it was always 3, 4, 5 days before they can get to it. Told me that “mobile” services were available to pick up and drop off my items which I opted in for but my items were never picked up so I had to drop them off myself. Once the job was partially completed he never offered his “mobile” services to drop off my items. Very misleading and unprofessional.
