Sitting in line waiting. The inspection side has blocked the flow of traffic, and now No one is in line for a inspection. The inspection workers dont care because thats less work for them. So we all sit and wait...Theres one inspection worker, older guy, that always seems to really hate his job. Well that how he acts.I definitely will find another locations

Great little place. Best kept secret is adjacent to the inspection office, is a tandem registration/title office where, for a surcharge, expired registration may be renewed!That way, one does not have to go to some state office, like the DMV, to finish expired registration after inspection.

This place is HORRIBLE! Dude working the inspection doesn’t know his right from left. Said my tint was to dark and I had to take it off… on my new truck. Took it down the street right after they tested it and said it was fine.. and they still charge me $20 after failing me. Dude can kick rocks horrible service don’t waste your time.

I showed up a few minutes before their open time of 8 am. Nobody was there and they didnt arrive to open until 8:20. I then had to wait another 20 minutes for her to help me because she was doing required office work. Their private fees arent posted, so I didnt realize I was paying $45 extra for the convenience of their service. Do not recommend this place.

STAY AWAY!!!this guys will charge 22 bucks for extra fees???and force you to accept any repairs before even looking at the vehicle, went down the street and found an honest gig for just the legal 7 dollar fee.I gladly tip the rest of the 20 to the guy.Is not about the money.I just refuse to be SCAM that way.

Fast, efficient, and friendly. My car failed because of tires but the inspector was very friendly and explained the reasons why. I was able to bring my car back with new tires and get it re-inspected for free. Now its a pass.

Once a car pulls in behind you, you are stuck in line. I waited for an hour and then found out it costs $20 instead of the normal $7 at jiffy lube. Never going back, I don’t understand how this place even has business.

I dont recommend coming to this place. They charge an arm and a leg add in extra additional cost to what or whom it goes to to have no clue. Never going back to neither get an inspection or registration sticker. They add fake additional fees and your waiting in line for like over an hour. Its ridiculous. $20 to get an inspection and $106.00 to get a registration sticker. Not worth it to wait in line for. Next year Im definitely not going to be at this place.

The male inspector called me “mama”. To me that was uncalled for and disrespectful. I will never go back to this place. He was flirtatious and made me uncomfortable. To boot, a shop fee was added to the inspection.

Whoever was working the registration lane was painfully slow. And you were stuck behind cars in the registration lane to get to the inspection lane,which was faster. Then after getting inspection you had to get back in the crazy slow registration lane!! Definitely do NOT recommend!

The inspector Michael Beeley is rude and very unprofessional. After waiting in line for 45 min my car and paying $13.50 I was then told my car didn’t pass inspection bec of wiper blades and tent too dark what’s funny is I passed inspection last yr and again this yr 4 min away from this with less wait time $7 total no additional fees they were friendly professional and aired up my tires as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE! WHY PAY $13.50-$20.00 here when you can go to Valvoline or Jiffy Lube and so many other places and spend $7 less wait time and receive courteous service. Yes I my car passed inspection today 4 min from here and only 5 min after I left this bs establishment!

It is convenient and should be quick! Employee did not ask a customer in a mercedes benz to move. She did not have her insurance ready. We waited in line for about 25 mins because she was not ready as the sign says. Employee should have a 2-3 minute wait policy, if insurance is not provided get back in line and be respectful of patrons that do not have extra time to burn. I like the convenience.

They charged 20$ dollars for an inspection. Beware. I just paid the inspection and left to do my registration somewhere else. I’m sure I saved some money else where. Luckily it was early in the morning and was there for 10 min tops.

Not the place to go for a quick vehicle inspection there was 3 cars ahead of me and this visit took an hour not to mention it will cost you $20 when any other valvoline, jiffy lube will do it for $7 you’ve been warned go at your own risk do not over pay for made up “shop fees”

They always try to charge services, shop fee 6.5 and something else $7 on top of the $7 inspection fee. I told them inspection only and sometime I paid $7, sometimes the employee refuse so I have to pay $20.

It would likely be in your best interest to come at 3am when the city is asleep and no one else is in line. If there’s more than 3 cars ahead of you at this location, I’d encourage bringing a change of clothes and making sure someone can watch your pets overnight.

Very slow, I took over an hour just to get my registration. One person taking over 30 min. Although the lady knew her job, I felt she was slow in processing paperwork

Very poor customer service. Was unable to get my motorcycle inspected. After waiting in line for 20min while two cars were inspected, the service person told me he would not be able to inspect my motorcycle because there were too many cars in line. Very frustrating as he had seen me when I first pulled up yet didnt say anything until I had waited for 20min. No attempted was made to find a solution to getting an inspection. I was told to find another place or come back at a later time when there are fewer cars in line.

Extra charges not shown before get in line, after one hour or so in line waiting they quick explain that will charge $6.50 for OIS fee and $6.50 for shop store fee (?) so had to pay total of $20.They should DISPLAY these extras at entrance before getting in line.I strongly recommend going to an oil change or mechanic shop where sometimes inspection is free with service.

Inspection was quick, but $20 for inspection is a little much. They dont let you know you can decline the extra fees. I dont mind paying extra for the shop fee, but the service fee is something that I feel shouldve been asked as an option. The service fee is actually for fluid top offs and discounts, which I dont need because I usually get those minor things done during my regular car maintenance.

It was a long wait. I was charged $20.00 my daughter said its only suppose to be $10.00. There is only 1 employee working. They used to have 2 the other employee used to collect the money.

The people that work here move like turtles!! After every car they use the restroom. I spent an hour and a half in a line that only had 4 cars!!! Very annoying and unprofessional!!!

A few things you should know before going here to get your inspection done :1. Be prepared to wait. I was fourth in line when they first opened and was there an hour.2. Understand you will pay 20$ for your inspection. You are paying a CONVENIENCE fee anything over the state mandated 7$. All this place does is inspections, therfore the idea is that they wont push any other service on you other than getting your inspection done, unlike any oil change/service center.3.my personal experience was decent. Wait was long but once was in the inspection bay only took 5 mins in and out. Have your insurance and payment ready for faster service.4. Yes you have to input your name and address into an iPad, I dont see what the big deal is its 2020 afterall. If you dont know how to use a touch screen iPad then you probably shouldnt be driving anyways..

Easy to find just off Hwy 1604 and Culebra. First come first serve. $20 total fee out of the basic $7 inspection fee. You decide if the fees tacked on are worth it. Im late for inspection so had no choice.

Wasnt here for an inspection, I had used the title place right next door, seamless transaction at a reasonable price.

For one the guy over charges. He comes up with all these extra fees and the total inspection comes out to $20 but when he hands you the receipt the only charge is the inspection that is $7 so where did the other $13 go. Second he was really rude. Third he used the same set of gloves for every car. When I asked him if he changes his gloves he said no that those were the last pair of gloves he had so he is risking everyone who goes to have their car inspected. He has been pocketing $13 for every car that goes through his shop and thats not OK. Ive reported that he is over charging hopefully everyone who has gone there does too!

Awesome Service!! It was worth the wait and money, very convenient to have both inspection & registration at the same place especially when you have little ones. It was my first time and I’ll definitely be back, the worker was very helpful and friendly even though he was super busy.

I arrived at 8:15a.m. and the guy was JUST BARELY putting out the cones and signs when I pulled up. If your hours of operation start at 8:00a.m. then you need to be ready with the doors open at 8:00a.m. And since I pulled up to the left lane before he put the sign up that said the right lane was for inspections and the left lane was for Title and Tag, I got skipped over for a vehicle that came after me. He was quick with the inspection but having to wait 30 minutes for him to get to me kind of voids his speed.

I cant give this place a bad review. Cheap and cheap. Everyone is professional and friendly. We from San Diego CA and the service is great here.

I had my vehicle inspection done so I could update my registration. They did a very good, thorough job only problem was the wait. I was in line over an hour sitting in my car the whole time. I had stopped at a different location before going to this one and it was closed even though the hours listed said it should be open. Why have this location closed when you are clearly busy enough to warrant needing it open?

Like a lot of us, we wait till the last minute to get inspected. I am one of us. At this particular station, they have 2 attendants. They work in unison and all we need to do is have our information. The inspection took about 5 minutes. I then drove around to the Title co. and in that it took anywhere from 10 to 15 mins.It took me an hour to get through both. Its the wait that takes up most of the time so dont do it if you are in a hurry...forget it. Wait till you have free time. The number of people waiting and making sure everyone has their information is key to a smooth process. Make sure you have no groceries that need to be chilled, take your potty break before and bring something to do.The guys were very courteous and polite. Gave all the information I needed and sent me on my way. They have a bench for you to sit at while waiting for the inspection and a window to pay.If you need both inspection and tags....when pulling in go right of the cones. If you are only getting tags, go left of the cones. There are signs and some chose to ignore and try to cut in line. You will just trap yourself. As you advance in line, there is a spot where the driveway narrows and it will be tight to have both cars (like a fork in the driveway) to go through at the same time. This is where the cutting in line may be attempted.I am assuming they have 2 attendants all the time or just at the beginning or end of the months. That, I am not sure of at this point.I got great service!

Place is almost always full. Spent around 2 hours getting my inspection done and getting my new registration. Good thing that they’re always open until late so you can come after work.

I have never visited one of these inspection stations, and I was very pleased with the service. Although I went on a very busy day (5th car in line), I waited less than an hour. The cost was approximately $20. Its a bit more expensive to use this service, but it is very quick, computerized, and they dont need to drive your car on the street; everything is done in the inspection booth. Also (I didnt know) there is an immediate registration booth on the same property--for those who need their vehicle registered while-you-wait. Im sure its an added cost, but it would be worth it to me if I needed my sticker the same day. Overall, I was very pleased and didnt mind the wait or cost.

Waited for 45 minutes for the little orange shack to open so that we could get our sticker after going through the inspection line first. The inspection line was good at less than 10 minutes. No one arrived to open the orange shed and no one bothered to tell us what was going on while multiple cars sat in the same line.

I understand the need to make money, but this is too much. Like most I was overdue on my registration, and this was a quick one stop to get both inspection and registration done. Instead of $7 for inspection, I was hit with OSIS (?) and shop fees. $18 total. Okay, $11 over is what I get for being late, right? Then I roll around and get my registration. After paying $15 in admin fees, I was charged a full $10 over what my registration cost was. I asked why, and was given the response, Texas raised the cost this year. Everyone was clueless until it happened. Add credit card fees and Im almost $40 over what I was thinking I had to pay. If you have the money to spend and dont have the time to hit 2 locations, I guess this is for you. I will not be returning to this location, and I will definitely advise others against this.P.S. I had another vehicle to register, and the county tax assessor collector charged me exactly what was on the page.

Im not sure why they charge an additional fee of $6.50 on top of the regular $7.00 inspection fee; which brings your total to a whopping $13.50...... keep in mind that upon paying for your registration the other true portion of the inspection is added on to you annual registration charge.At the end of the day, youre being overcharged and additional $6.50 for taking your vehicle to Due Now with no real explanation as to why.Most likely to help them stay afloat and remain in business.But in my opinion, how they should be making their money is selling the air filters, wiper blades, gas caps and other additional accessories their drive-thru locations are stocked with. This would truly be a means of making the buck......as opposed to having customers pay for a non-explanatory service.I took a chance on coming to Due Now #9 @ Culebra rather than going to Jiffy Lube who only charges the applicable $7.00 inspection fee with no surprise add-ons.Customers should not have to pay you a keep you in business fee. You are a business and you should take the necessary steps stay relevant.

ATTENTION! If you dont have every single piece of paperwork for your vehicles existence, Fiona (Ogre version from Shrek), will not comply and will refuse to give you service. Even if the law of Texas says otherwise, this woman that was working on Sunday 10/28/17 at around noon, will refuse to do her job and take her sweet time getting around to notifying you. Very rude behavior and I highly suggest going elsewhere.

We just got the inspection done, but it was fast, friendly service. We were third in line and we were out of there in less than 20 minutes. I would give it 5 stars, but it cost $11 more than we paid at another location.

Got there and the two guys were complaining saying how they don’t get paid enough for doing their job and cussing. Failed me for a slightly tinted 3rd break light that I’ve never gotten failed for before. Then they charged me extra for some service they claimed they did which they never told me about! Don’t waste your time and money here.

Watch out for the magical fee on top of the 6.50 shop fee.., 7$ will turn into 20$ real quick, youre pretty much giving your money away without an explanation nor an itemized receipt.

I want to know where this other inspection station down the road is?? I have come to this one the past 2 years and had the same terrible experiences as everyone else. They failed me last year for my tint even tho they passed me for it the year before. Seems like the owner and the employees truly dont care about whats actually legal and illegal for passing and failing. So if someone could just let me know where the other inspection place is so I dont waste my time or patience I would be very grateful!

I like going to this one but most will not relate if you drive a manual transmission. You will have to drive your car into the bay. Even on the last day of May it took about an hour to get it all done.

Complete and total rip off... An inspection only cost $7. The two extra fees that are charged is ridiculous. OIS and shop fee you wont find at any other place that does inspections. My daughter had her car inspected here and they took advantage of her by charging her $15 for one wiper. If you need an inspection, please go somewhere else that is honest and loyal to there customers.
