Stopped by at 3:55pm and the place was actually closed!

Visited a couple of times within their mentioned open hours, but they are always closed!

Pulled through inspection, the fella is nice. Pulled back around to due Registration and the chick had left (3:30Pm). She saw us there and left. Last time we went through she sat on her phone the whole time while helping us. Two thumbs down on the Registration.

Quick and easy. Attendant was very professional and easy to talk to about anything that concerned me. Answered any questions I had about the inspection. Thank you again for the efficient service.

First visit guy took his sweet time to get the first car in i was the third car in line after sitting awhile the guy told the car in front of me and myself that he was closing down early and was not doing anymore inspections for the day and this was still early ok if you dont want the business to make money Ill go somewhere else second time i went a different employee was working i left again these employees are not in any hurry to provide service was in line with several vehicles and waited for anyone to acknowledge that we were there and they moved at snails pace went somewhere else after getting my inspection had to drive by on the way home notice same vehicles that were in front of me still in line do not go here unless you dont mind waiting for long periods

I went last Saturday at 8am when they show being opened and waited for 15 minutes, then left. No one showed up to work that day. Then my wife went back this week around 4:30pm Monday and the guy told her he had to leave for an emergency and closed the doors. So my wife went back again Tuesday and he did the same thing to her again! So she had to find another place for the inspection. What horrible customer service from this person and company., I cant believe they treated her this way

We waited there for them to open at 8 am. They did not open at 8 am. No one was there.

In the afternoon hours on Saturdays, the Inspectors girl or wife.. will be nearby ( across the street in car ) or near by he wlli have the garage locked up as early as 3pm.. and be standing by the car.. watching people arrive to a closed station.. during set operation hours, because he is trying to loose business...for the boss....

Did not give good service at all. No communication was rude.Failed my sons car with no explanation why.When I asked him what was wrong with the car he couldnt tell me anything.

Supposed to be open Monday-Saturday 9AM to 6PM. Went over today at 10:30AM and the place was locked up tight.

The guys really do Rob your money even more when youre a woman and they think you dont know what youre doing they make you pay up front and then tell you youre going to fail because of your tires or your windshield wipers should just be aware plus he didnt even do with my car what he was doing with all the other cars test driving it and all he just went around in a circle and charged me $72

Inspection guy was not properly wearing his mask. He hops in and out of vehicles all while wearing his mask under his chin. Before I got back in my car I sprayed ithe inside with lysol and wiped everything down with lysol wipes, he proceeded to say Im sorry I forgot to tell you I have cooties My response was There is covid going around. Its for my protection For a person to make that comment was dumb & very unprofessional .

If Im pay $20.00 you better pass my inspection

They were thorough on my vehicle’s inspection, and had me back on the road quickly.

State fee $7, added shop fee $6.50 and COI fee $6.50, total came to $20. Will not go back.

The reason I am giving one star is due to the fact on my visit today, 6/29/20, their employee was in my vehicle with his mask down beneath his nose. I dont know you. I dont know your sanitation practices or if someone in your home is sick. During a pandemic where your business has signage up requiring face coverings by customers and employees, I would hope that the employees should be at least held to a standard of wearing a mask properly. This is my personal space and I dont feel it was given much respect seeing the current state of affairs. It was a quick inspection, on a positive note.

Expensive they change $20 pass or not when you can go to Firestone and pay $7

This is a great place to get an inspection if you are in a hurry. The entire process took less than 15 minutes and the technicians were extremely professional. Make sure you have all of your paperwork in order (license, insurance, and proof of ownership). I also recommend not forgetting that brakes, wiper blades and evap systems are checked in addition to your horn and exterior lights.

When I initially pulled up to get a state inspection on my vehicle there was 3 cars ahead of me. One vehicle getting inspected and two vehicles waiting to get inspected in front of me. I was ok with that an expected to wait roughly 15 minutes. I only had to wait about 10 minutes to get my inspection started. The inspectors name was Javier Padilla. He was very polite, friendly and most importantly helpful. He answered all my questions willfully and informative. Inspection went smooth and after a few short minutes I was on my way. He worked very fast. I am happy with my visit and I will continue to take all my vehicles there to get inspected and I encourage everyone else to take their vehicles there.

Not open during open hours! I called and no answer. Not a good way to do business. Don’t waste time driving here.

The person doing the test was polite and appeared competent. However his mask was below his nose and mouth. I noted that his mask had slipped and he laughed. I worry for his safety and those he interacts with. Please encourage him to wear the mask properly.

The inspector of this place is Awesome, he is very friendly, quick and reasonable. Love it!

Went there at 3:15PM. Garage door is half way down. The sign says open til 4. Look inside, guy is on his phone. He says they are closed. I said its 3:15, he says were closed. Another car pulls up behind me and I tell the driver they are closed. She wasnt too happy either. I do not recommend going to this place.

Super service! Long line and took some time, but the employee was still in good spirits! Four vehicles in front of me and three behind, good on him! Also, asked if my truck would pass inspection (criminal mischief, someone threw a rock through my slider that impacted my front windshield) before we started and he said yes! So my truck passed and then I went to register it and they said (purchased in NC) that Inwould have to pay an additional $938 cuz the sales tax here is 6.25%, but the sales tax in NC is only 3.00%, so I have to pay the difference! As a 100% disabled veteran, I find this very disturbing! And if I dont pay it in 30 days, I get charged $25 for a late fee and $44, cuz they charge 5.00% interest on the $938! That by itself is very upsetting and disappointing! Arent we in Military City USA!!???!!!

Very thorough and staff knowledgeable and friendly. Four ahead of me and had to wait awhile since I came on my stickers last day, but that was to be expected. Witnessed staff being verbally harassed by customer whose vehicle didnt pass, he kept his cool and was very professional.

Fast and friendly service... whats nice is if theres anything wrong with your vehicle that they can fix right there... they will...some part prices can be reasonable... I only had to have the 3rd brake light replaced (New Law ALL 3 Brake lights must work... if you have 3) and it was $7... not bad...beats having to come back and start all over!!!

Absolute waste of money. First of all, you will leave here spending $20 to get your vehicle inspected. I went here with my wife and her vehicle today. The man working there, Davis, was more focused on flirting with my wife then doing his job. When he told her she was good to drive away, he had forgotten to remove an inspection device from her gas cap. This stretched out the retaining cord for the gas cap and he made no effort to make the issue right.Furthermore, and most annoyingly, we got to the title and registration office and discovered he left out a digit from her vehicle’s VIN number. This rendered the inspection completely useless. Absolutely ridiculous. We are going to get our money back for her inspection and additional money back for a new gas cap. Don’t waste your time or money here.UPDATE: They will also sell your vehicle info and address to spam you with useless mail about purchasing extended warranties. Avoid this place.

Drove by Monday... On the 1st of the Month, mind you, and they were Closed. I have called 3 days now only to get No Answer. You would think last week of the month and first week would be their busiest times! Heading To Nakoma Dr. out of the way now. I guess “good business “ is a foreign term to whoever owns this place!!!

I went here for a $10 trailer inspection, the one where they check your lights and tires, and they wanted to charge double plus some other up-sales. Theres a reason this place is always empty and sometimes an attendant cannot be found. Do yourself a favor and let professionals take care of you over at Jiffy Lube. Those guys knocked it out fast and didnt try to over charge me.

I went to get my car inspected. The kid doing the inspections took 5 minutes to bother coming over to me (I was the only one there) and I saw him take a half full bottle of Jack into the booth. His behaviour was that of someone not fully attentive or aware of what was going on. I left. Go somewhere else.

The person operating the station was very helpful and knowledgeable, however, they closed at 4pm in stead of 6pm like it was stated online.

Excellent service. The inspector was friendly and did a great job. My rear license plate lights were out and I didnt know they could replace them, which they did. The wait time was minimal.

Wish I could give ZERO stars! AVOID this place! After the inspection was completed, I was told it would be $20. Asked why it was so much and got a point to a sign and said theres our charges. Sign stated $7 inspection fee, $6.50 OIS, $6.50 shop fee. I asked what the two other charges were and why I was being charged and the guy couldnt give an answer besides thats what we charge. I asked if the OIS was optional and the guy said no and handed me back my card and the receipt for $20. Afterwards, I did some research and found out that both charged are optional! I have reported this place to the state.

Waste of time. I came on Saturday at 10:30. and on Monday at 12:00 and it was still closed.

I went on my lunch break today and it was closed even if the sign says open Monday to Friday. I called the store to ask them what was going on in the manager or person answering the phone said. I dont need to tell you why the store was closed but it is closed today. And she was rude. Definitely not going back there again. Thanks for wasting my lunch break. She didnt even say sorry. There was even other cars going at the same time as I was. They werent happy either. Folks.

This place wants to charge $20 for a $7 inspection. When I asked him why it fe $7, he said they charge two $6.50 fees in addition to the $7.

I went there a few years ago to get an inspection on an 2002 Windstar. The motor for the driver side front window was broken so the window did not roll down however the passenger side worked. Although all of the back windows had light tint there was no tint on the two front windows. I was told they could not perform an inspection on my vehicle because the front window did not roll down and therefore they would not be able to test the tint on the front windows to make sure it wasnt too dark and therefore illegal......... Im sorry what?!?!? Because my window doesnt roll down you cant test the tint that doesnt exist???? Ive been going to Pit Pros ever since for inspections and oil changes. They are all so nice and if the vehicle wont pass inspection they dont charge me.

I went to this location to get my vehicle inspected. After waiting almost 30 min. (there was a vehicle in bay in front of me) the attendant came out and motioned for me to pull up to him. He started telling me the price in a very rude tone. I had not even spoken to him as yet. When I said that the price seemed high, he proceeded to tell me I should go somewhere else if I was so hard up. Then I said I had paid under $10.00 before, but since I had waited so long, I would go ahead with the inspection. He started berating me like I was an idiot. He would not shut his mouth, he kept telling me to find someplace else to go because I was so needy????? Where is this service person coming from??? DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!! I have contacted their management office and seems know one answers the phone. I did send them a complaint about their employee being so rude and hateful. I actually think he could be dangerous if confronted. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

This place inspected my vehicle months ago and i never received my new vehicle registration in the mail. On top of that soon after going here and paying 18 dollars for the inspection with my card, soon after two attempts online were made trying to use my card for purchases luckily my bank caught and questioned.

I have been by a few times over the years. I get the excuse that the computer system is down...or there just isnt anyone there. I even called this morning after sitting in front of the joint for 20 minutes only to be td that someone should be there. I said, well I guess I need to find someplace else because no one is even here. They guy on the phone said he wouldnt know anything about it. Ummm...then maybe the owner should know that his no-show employee is costing him business. 3 cars waiting and we are all about to leave.

They charged $20 for a $7.00 state auto inspection - $7 plus two $6.50 fees. I have reported them to the state. Thinking that the cost had gone up, I paid it. I gave them one miserable star for their rating, only because they didnt try to tell me I needed a repair. Stay away from this place!

This company is ripping people off.They are charging $ 18.00 for a $7.00 inspection. They are collecting a 7.50 state fee that is supposed to be paid to the county when you pay for your registration.Aparently the Bexar county tax office has had a lot of complaints.

Say seven bucks - charged 20 bucks. Contacting DA fraud office.

Called at 12 to see if they closed for lunch. I was told they didnt. Showed up 15 minutes later and no one was there and no one was answering the phone. I can see why this place gets such terrible ratings.
