Average Food, sweets are okay but food.... we ordered Gopi 65 chicken fried rice n fish Tika they were okay but not sooo great

Its so savory. Staff treated us so kindly. The place has a nice feel to it. They have so many reviews for a reason.

We came to this restaurant for dinner. we heard about this place from a lot of people. Well, it was very nice. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. First time and the food was delicious. The service was good, it just took awhile for the food. There was only one waitress but she did her best. Only thing I can say is that they need more help. Everything else was perfect.

I had lunch here today. Service was quick, my cup was refilled quickly and the food was good! Prices were very reasonable. Cant complain one bit and will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options.

We went for dinner and it was fabulous. The inside of the building is well decorated and appealing. The service and staff were attentive, offered suggestions if we wanted them and were friendly. Now on to the good stuff: the food. We ordered a myriad of items to try ( gobi manchurian, chaat, a biryani and a chicken curry). Everything was delicious. The flavors were spot on, the food was cooked perfectly and it came out fresh and hot. We will definitely be back and hope to see more diners there.

Me and my wife went for dosa buffet and it was good. Also we went for chat buffet and they said it was not there. I can see they have the 7.99 all you can eat chat on display and in their website, but when i asked for it the lady told it was not available.It took almost 1.5hrs to get the order but it was good.They make it fresh.

This place has great Indian cuisine they have a very Eastern diet that is healthy they serve juices and candy that is made bye bye bye great chefs the family is from Chicago 10 very friendly and active in the community

THIS place is amazing!! I love the chicken tikka misala. The staff is super friendly and it feels authentic with a family like atmosphere. I will try their buffet it looks amazing and has the best price in town. India palace is overpriced for no reason. This place is nicer, cheaper, tastier and better view

Only place in town that has delicious spicy flavor, 10/10 would recommend it, takes a while to cook all the food but it is delicious!! Only shrimp biryani I eat, all the other ones taste like paella.

Washroom is not hygienic and smell. North Indian style Food is good. South Indian food options you can try in some other place. This is my experience.

Always a great experience. Have been going there since the India Chaat was open on Fredericksburg and both owner & his wife are very hospitable and food is awesome. Recommend several things but their Chicken 65 is awesome and so are the biriyanis.

All around enjoyed my meal. Had the Paneer Tikka Masala, was a good balance of sweet and spicy, though I didnt truly enjoy the tofu chunks they added. Ambience is nice enough, and would come back.

Cant wait for their watermelon drink to come out!

This place has very fresh sweets. Their restaurant will get 3/5 but for the sweets I would give 5/5. They make special ‘modak’ for Ganesh Puja.

The place didn’t look clean. We tried some things there samosas and chat and none of the items were good. Daughter got sick after eating the paneer tikka taco. Never going back again!

This is our favorite Indian in town. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly. We love the lunch buffet, hot somosa chaat, and fish tikka tacos.

Today we had the Butter Chicken and it was delicious and the chai as always is the best.

I wonder if the mexicans inside the kitchen are washing their hands. Everytime I eat there, I develope diarrhea. Apparently, what they are calling as fresh meal, comes from the cheapest canned vegetables.

I am ecstatic that I found Royal, as I have been a long time customer of their old place which, small parking lot and all, Id travel from well off the other side of town for. Royal is only bigger, but not better quality, as thats always been here, wherever Ray and his staff go!As for looking at Royal had you never known the old Chaat House was theirs?1. Ive been to no other Indian restaurant in this city that has differently themed nights, and2. still have nowhere else I know of that you can order a dosa any day of the week.3. As another reviewer mentioned, my glass never reached empty, and4. As I had the chaat buffet (themed night) while in house, I cant say anything (yet) about the menu items except...I ordered three dishes in place of going to the grocery store, because I saw what was on others tables and I know if its anything like their other location the food is going to be amazing even leftover tomorrow.5. Another cool/interesting thing I noticed here that Ive not seen anywhere is that, in addition to already having both Mexican and Chinese fusion type dishes on the full menu, they have an entirely separate menu for Pakistani dishes. I didnt specifically ask as I didnt order from it this time around, but Im betting since the staff here will educate you and let you taste test different things if youre new to the cuisine, they likely will assist in any special dietary requests that they have the possibility to accommodate, and without making you feel like youre hassling them.Bottom line? If you already know and love this food, make this your mainstay. If youre new and wanting to try an adventure into some of the best food youll ever taste, make this the place you start. I have no doubt as they pull their new location more and more together that this will be the happening spot, maybe for ;) a Diwilai celebration or something?

Samosas good, had chaat item realyr great taste.

I have been twice. Once for the pani puri and chaat and the second for the lunch buffet. Service quick, kind and excellent. Made fresh Naan. They had curries of all sorts. Very flavorful. I did not give 4 because I only have been there twice.

Their weekend buffets are amazing! Indian dishes with authentic flavors, I just loved it!

Lets start with the positive, their confectionary section makes good sweets and cakes. Now for their dining section, sorry but I cannot say the same, service is so bad, I ordered pani puri from the confectionary section (for some weird reason they are not consolidated) which was the blandest chaat I have ever had, potato chopped with 2 chickpea per pani puri with no spices or seasoning. And yes I am an Indian. Their biryani and mysore masala dosa is good but how do you eat when they bring your food out without a plate and all other components of sauces with it. Unlike most places I have eaten, they dont even bring papadam when you order off the menu. Worst service I have ever received in a place which actually looks promising and decent.

This place had all door closed except for one . What a fire hazard i did report this to fire marshsl and inspector. I would not come here also i saw no hair nets or beard nets. Manager was total unprofessional. I suggest eating at another place down the street.

Terrible place with over spiced and tasteless food.Extremely crowded and horrible customer service.They have very few people for service.One has to wait hours before you get to even say your order.The most weird situation I noted here were Muslim customers doing prayers right in the hallway during Ramadan hours.Its a total disregard for other customers.I am not spending another dollar going here again!!!
