I want to first acknowledge I dont usually leave reviews but I understand how important your wedding day is. This is a long review but every detail is worth it. I can say with 100% honesty choosing Granberry Hills Event Facility as my wedding Venue was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. We met the Granberry team at the bridal extravaganza in 2019. The price, the package and the BEAUTIFUL ceremony and reception area took our breath away. Teresa and Natalie were always 1 call away as we started to prepare for our big day and never missed a beat.When the pandemic first hit us, the owner Bob Lowman reached out personally to discuss options. We knew we had to postpone the wedding ceremony but it was very important to us to get married on April 16th 2020. Bob offered to allow us to get married with just our pastor and 3 guest on the Gardenside and we did exactly that. Teresa was there with us and even though she had to keep her distance from us she still was there for support and that meant so much to us.Fast forward to our NEW wedding date December 6th 2020. A month before our big day I got extremely ill and needed emergency surgery. I reached out to the venue and was so worried that I wouldnt be able to reschedule. By the grace of God, Bob reached out and allowed me to reschedule on April 16th 2021, yes on our 1 year anniversary. How amazing is that?During a time when the wedding industry was just getting back on their feet, during April the peak of wedding season, and on a Friday?!?! Bob cared so much about us that he made a decision that was not the best business decision but a decision he knew would make us happy.On our wedding day, April 16 2021 we arrived at the venue and Teresa our assigned coordinator and the rest of the Granberry team set up everything EXACTLY the way that we wanted it. (YES THEY SET UP EVERYTHING FOR YOU). My wedding party and I were running a bit behind and Teresa helped get us back on track. Teresa continuously checked on me and made sure that the rest of the bridal party knew exactly what was happening next. As I was about to make my grand entrance I looked over and saw Bob standing there and I literally started crying and had to ask for a hug because this man is more than just a business owner he is a kind, supportive, patient man and one of my heroes. He made my dream wedding a reality and I can never thank him enough for that. Thank you to the entire Granberry team. Special shoutout to the best coordinator ever Teresa, you made my night STRESS FREE and Ron and I were so lucky to have you there on our wedding date and there for our celebration/vow renewal. Omg I had the best experience with granberry hills. Natalie was my coordinator and when I say she is the best. She put up with my mess calling every week to make changes and moving guest around and all. They made my vision come to light. They went over and beyond of what I ask for them. When we had a wardrobe malfunction the day of the wedding they where in full affect with sewing needles and and all. You would have never known that something was wrong. If I could give them a 1000 stars I would. They are the best at what they do and I just love them to death.

What a Beautiful Event Complex tucked away in the Beautiful Hill County in San Antonio. I was here for my Sister in Law Wedding and my wife was Coordinating it with the Amazing Ashley staff member at Granberry Hills. This was a Very Large wedding with family and friends what a evening with Great Memories. I Highly recommend this place for all you Wedding and Large Events needs. Great Staff to come with it. We had our reception on March 28,2021 at Hill side and it was beautiful with the sunset! We loved how they do all the decor and you have your own coordinator for the event.The only negative thing is that it did take a while to get our refund and our $500 deposit back. So if they owe you money, please keep calling them to give you your money back. And when we had to postpone our wedding due to covid, they refused to move it even though they double booked us. We were very fortunate to worked with a special coordinator who convinced the owner to have our reception on our one year anniversary.

Granberry Hills has gone above and beyond for us! The owner was spectacular to work with and went above and beyond to be sure all of our dreams came true on our wedding day (twice!) We were married on 7/11/2020 at Granberry Hills with only immediate family present because of covid. We decided to postpone the reception to this year on 7/10/2021 and Mr. Robert Lowman never questioned us and made sure we were comfortable with the way things went. The girls at Granberry are amazing and I cant thank any of them enough. Love all of the people here and would do the whole event over again just to celebrate with them one more time!!

100% recommend this venue. Their inclusive rental pricing (containing setup & breakdown of the event, on-site coordinator handling the schedule & flow of event, AND the tables & tableware) was absolutely amazing, especially considering the amazing rates they offered. It was a beautiful space, so well kept and gorgeous landscaping (perfect for our hopes of having an indoor/outdoor reception).When we found it online before visiting, it almost looked too good to be true! Nonetheless, it was everything they promised to be. And staff is always so kind— responses were always immediate and helpful, which makes all the difference to a bride under immense stress!Truly can’t thank GBH enough for everything!!

My husband and I got married at the Gardenside location on November 24, 2019. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the people that work here. The Gardenside location was beautiful and the bulb lights both inside and outside of the venue were a nice touch as it got dark. Our coordinator for the day of our wedding, which is included in the cost of the venue, was Jennifer and she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. She made sure that everything, ourselves included, stayed on schedule so that we could maximize all of our time on the big day. In short, it was a perfect day that exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a venue that will take care of you and make your big day stress-free, look no further. I would highly recommend this venue and its staff to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding.

I attended a wedding here and the place was beautiful. They had nice restrooms plenty of seating for what seemed like at least 350 people. It was a smooth and easy transition from where the vows were exchanged to the reception area. When in the reception area the sunset from windows looked amazing.

The employees are extremely nice and it is a beautiful place to have your events there.

Granberry Hills is the go to event center! My day of coordinator was awesome and helped me with everything completely took my stress away! Not one thing went wrong! I did my research when I got engaged on every event venue and this was definitely my go to with no questions asked! They are flexible with payments and don’t require all this money up front, they have the most reasonable pricing including the caterers they use they are also very reasonably priced and they made sure I had everything I needed with a check off list. I couldn’t be any more satisfied! My wedding was so perfect and I know it was because they took care of everything! Thank you ladies y’all were a blessing through my entire wedding process! Oh AND they even took the best picture of me and my husband I will have framed and blown up in my house!!!

What a journey we had with Granberry. Original wedding was March 2020, and COVID completely impeded our plans. But, Granberrys staff stuck it out with us. All the ladies were involved in making our day perfect. We had the best time with little to no stress on our actual day. Ashley, our event staff member was great. She made sure any last minute changes were handled and the night went smooth. We are so grateful to the staff at Granberry. We will never forget these ladies. I will definitely recommend to anyone.

My wife and I had our wedding at the Granberry Hills Event Center on October 13th, 2018. It was an absolutely beautiful event and was shared by many of our closest friends and family. It was concerns for the weather, due to all the rain, the San Antonio area had been taking. Thanks to our Event Coordinator (Natalie) and the Granberry Hills Staff, they had us covered with an Inclement Weather Plan for our wedding to be held under the pavilion and in the reception hall. We were hoping and praying that we didnt have to go with that plan. But, we were absolutely thrilled that the weather broke and we were able to have our wedding outside. Kudos and shout outs to the Granberry Hills Event Center! Well worth the investment! If you are considering having an event worth capturing in a beautiful location. No worries, Granberry Hills got ya covered, literally!

Over the top commie coordinators & assistants! Three days prior to the mask mandate in our county being lifted, they made a huge deal about guests not wearing masks on the dance floor. Everyone had already signed a waiver and taken temperatures. Nobody was doing any harm! Those that wanted to wear a mask did so freely. Anybody that had that much fear of Covid was either not there or only attended the ceremony and left before the reception.The coordinator began by telling the mother of the bride that their $500 deposit would not be returned to them. It should have ended there. However, unfortunately, it did not. Not only did they punish the bride and groom by not allowing them their final dance completely alone in the ballroom, they also took away their sparkler sendoff. The owner actually told the mother of the bride that she should be able to control 180 people! Even the police officer when asked said that we were doing nothing wrong but having a good time. They added unnecessary stress to what started off as a beautiful event. Everything was handled in a very unprofessional manner. They even had the mother of the bride do arranged seating ahead of time because of Covid, however when people arrived they were not properly directed to their seats so there was a lot of confusion as to where to sit. On top of that, they were about to charge an additional amount just add another table when we were under the amount that was expected to begin with.

Our wedding was May 5, 2018 and I really did enjoy my experience. Melissa and Teresa were amazing in helping us make decisions on last minute details, heck, they even helped in reminding me of details that I forgot or didnt even think of. Melissa was my day of coordinator and I truly believe she did a great job and was so patient with everything going on and definitely helped calm my nerves at times. I called the venue at least 100 times through the year of planning asking repetitive questions and everyone who answered was more than helpful in answering them or making sure I understood what was in our contract. Thank you everyone for all your help and in making sure our day and our time was special to us!

This place is gorgeous. Perfect place for weddings and parties. Very spacious.

I did wedding photography and video at this venue. This place is beautiful and elegant; great for just about any event, especially weddings and quenceaneras; absolutely beautiful. The stsff is very helpful, outgoing and friendly. By the way, it has a huge, beautiful gazebo outside to hold ceremonies, apart from the ballroom. Also has another ballroom on the other side of the property. I definitely recommend this place.

Granberry Hills was one of the best choices we ever made for our wedding. I went to tour the venue before I got engaged with my uncle for his wedding. I fell in love immediately and it wasn’t even for me. After I heard what they had to offer, I was sold. When we did get engaged, I persuaded my now husband to seriously consider Granberry. After looking at a few more venues for fun, it was an easy choice to choose Granberry over all the other places. It fit our budget and we loved the amenities it came with. Plus, we got our own personal coordinator for the day of the event. The whole process was very smooth. They answered every tiny/crazy question I had and went to great lengths to help us create our day. I think they were more excited than I was about planning but they were great! It was hard for my mom to let go of the fact that we don’t need to set up but it was a big help the day of our wedding. I do wish we had more time to get ready in the suite but it was perfect timing for everyone. Once you set foot on site things turn into a blur. When I did get on-site my cake vendor forgot my grooms cake topper. Melissa and her staff quickly got it figured out and put it in place before anyone else noticed. Our wedding was awesome and everyone loved how beautiful they made our special day. They even brought up ideas that I never even thought of. I was totally stressed out but it was absolutely worth it to have their guidance! Thank You Granberry Staff!!

This venue was the first venue my husband and I looked at, just for curiosity we had gone to 2 others after and went straight back to Granberry Hills because of the beautiful scenery and kind staff that welcomed us. Our wedding was even more beautiful then we imagined and Melissa was such an amazing coordinator. Our guests can’t stop talking about our wedding in the best of ways. We highly recommend this venue.

Had my wedding on November 2nd on Hillside and this venue was well worth it. The day of my wedding our coordinator, Natalie, pulled me aside and told me that the photographer forgot to bring our canvas signature (I had no back up guest book) so I started to freak out a little and Natalie told me not to worry about it she would take care of it. Next thing I knew there was a guest book on our table. This night was the best! Natalie was great and everyone e loved our wedding!!

Married on 07-20-2019Granberry Hills is amazing place to get married! They know wedding inside and out. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and amazing to work with. We used Instagram to message them our questions and they were so helpful to answer them. The venue is beautiful and always kept up. We had our Wedding there 4/28/18. Everything was perfect from the beginning when we decided to have our wedding there. My now husband loved the chandelier that was on the hill side so that’s what sold him, I love the fact that I could have an indoor and outdoor wedding and not have to worry about weather being an issue since everything is covered. Our guest had s great time there was not a single complaint, they worked amazingly with the vendors and us. We were running behind schedule at one point which was our fault and they made sure we didn’t stress, we weren’t rushed in anyway. Everything went smoothly. We forgot items from our sand ceremony and didn’t even notice until they called us. They let us know it was safe and that we could pick it up when we had time. Unfortunately with my schedule we weren’t able to make it until a week later and they were great about it they assured us that everything was safely put away and kept updated with us to see when we could pick everything up. We almost forgot about it until they called us to remind us. Over all I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else because the venue and staff are just perfect! I would definitely recommend this venue! The price for the venue is very reasonable I don’t think I will ever have anything bad to say. Every corner of Granberry is gorgeous ❤️

Event center is beautiful. However the entrance to the actual location needs repairs. Many many potholes looks as though the entire road floods. Event center is very elegant. Plenty of parking.

My wedding day 5/4/2019 couldn’t have been more perfect! Natalie was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing every step of the way. She answered our questions and gave us great suggestions based on her expertise and the results were memorable. Came here for my sisters wedding in January. Beautiful venue tucked away in a residential area with access to several stores, restaurants, and hotels nearby to keep your guests happy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of our needs. They have a beautiful bridal suite and an outdoor area for ceremonies.

Very nice venue. I was pleasantly surprised, since the road up to the venue seemed a bit sketchy. I attended my brothers wedding and they did a fantastic job from start to finish.

Melissa was my coordinator on my wedding day 3/18/18 and I LOVED her/venue. Everything is very organized, the day of I had no one coming up to me asking questions about vendors and things, Melissa handled everything so that was one of the biggest helps to not have be stressing on the best day! The staff are always willing to help and thoughtful! The venue itself is beautiful, we got married on the Garden side to keep it more intimate and personal. My guests were totally amazed as well! I would highly recommend this place. My daughter got married there 2 months ago, and I was very impressed with this place and the people who run it. She was assigned a wedding coordinator for the day, and she made sure everything was perfect. Edna was wonderful to work with. As the mother of the bride, I thought I would be running around like a chicken without a head on the actual wedding day. Instead, as I was told, I just showed up an hour prior to the wedding, and Edna did the rest. From the wedding march, to keeping the guests where they needed to be, the cutting of the cake, to the last detail of the night, she handled it ALL. She was very professional and nice to work with. The ONLY complaint I have about Granberry Hills, is the florist (Tuscan Rose) they have on their vendor list and referred. The florist service was horrible and after the wedding when I called Granberry Hills to suggest they not refer them to anyone in the future, they didnt really follow up with that. If they did, we never received a call informing us of the update. But again, that is my only complaint about this venue. The guests loved the venue and the wedding, and are still talking about how beautiful it was. The photos on their website dont really do it justice. It needs to be seen in person.

I planned my wedding in 3 months and most venues require at minimum 6 months for you to have it at their location. Thankfully Granberry had an opening when I wanted and had no issue with my timeline. They gave me a checklist of all the things that I needed to do and were there to help me with anything. Planning a wedding is stressful especially in 3 months but they helped take a lot of the stress away with all the help they provided. On the day of my wedding everything went very smoothly and turned out better than I couldve ever hoped for. The venue was stunning and my wedding coordinator was amazing through the whole process. She kept everything on track and made sure that everything that happened was exactly what my husband and I wanted. She also made sure that my husband and I were as stress free as possible on our wedding day. My wedding was better than I ever couldve expected it to be and that is thanks to not only my family and everyone that pitched in but Granberry as well. They ensured that the idea and dream I had for my wedding came true. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to get married!

I had my wedding here August 11,2017. The place was not only beautiful, the workers are so passionate and caring with everyone that walks threw the door. They have the best ideas and are so helpful. My wedding wouldnt have been so beautiful any where else but here. People complain about the price and I always telling them it is all so worth it. The staff goes above and beyond, they helped me with no problem. When I didnt know what to do or was going back and forth on a decision, they helped me every time. There is no better place to have your wedding at but GRANDBERRY HILLS. I think you for making my day so beautiful and special. The manager Teresa is the bomb and you can just tell she loves her job by her action. If I couldve give them more than a 5 I would.

Choosing Granberry Hills as my wedding venue was one of the best decisions I made. Im the type to carefully research and compare all my choices before picking anything! The venue is beautiful and the staff are such great pleasure to work with. Everyone from Jennifer (who kindly answered most of my calls when I had questions) to Teresa (lovely manager). But I have to give it up to Courtney, she was the first face I met at open house and I was blessed to have her as my wedding coordinator in the end. She made me feel at ease through the whole process. They even do all the set-up and decorating so that you are able to relax and enjoy your wedding day! My guests loved our gardenside venue and theres even a small field out next the reception area so the kids can run around and expel some energy rather then being cooped up in a formal event all evening. The only remark I have to say, is if you are getting married in the spring/summer when the time changes forward, dont have the ceremony at 5. The guests on the left side dont have much shade and will have sun coming in on the right side making it a bit uncomfortable as they watch. Other than that, I love Granberry Hills!

Beautiful venue! So glad I had my wedding here,everyone was so nice and they were very accommodating. Our coordinator T made everything so easy and stress free and she was so kind,she was there to reassure me when I started to get nervous.

Great venue! Have attended and been apart of a few weddings here and the team is great and very efficient in all they do!!!

Where do I start. From the time we first visited the staff was courteous and professional. Granberry Hills is a fantastic venue. My wedding was absolutely THE best day of my life. Beautiful venue!

My wife and I had our wedding here on 3-16-18. The staff at Granberry Hills was amazing and made sure that our special day was as stress-free as possible and they certainly delivered! Our coordinator, Andrea, was awesome and went over the top to make sure everything was perfect! We could have not asked for a better coordinator! If anyone is looking around for a wedding venue in San Antonio, look no further than Granberry Hills!

Very nice venue. Hidden, but not hard to find. The dance floor was a good size. The outside is beautiful and well maintained.

I have continued to tell the staff here i have found a venue for my wedding already to take me off of their call list and still insist on calling over and over.I’m not sure if business is slow but STOP CALLING!!!

On November 26th of this year we had our wedding here and it was definitely a night to remember. Having Michelle as our event coordinator really made the night go by smoothly and let us just enjoy it! We had it on the garden side and with the sunset it really was a beautiful ceremony. We thought the price was reasonable and definitely recommend checking them out!

Very Nice all the way around very beautiful for weddings receptions and family reunions. Plenty of space for big or little gatherings. Equiped for outside and inside builds for any occasions.

Would definitely recommend Granberry Hills for your wedding! The staff is patient and friendly and genuinely seem invested in having your event go by smoothly. Dont be discouraged by its semi-middle-of-nowhere location - the actual facility is incredibly well kept and worth it. The only reason I gave Granberry 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was some mix-up with the start time of my event on the day-of but the Granberry coordinator was cool and collected and made sure my reception went off without a hitch. Also, they did some switching around with the day-of event coordinators during the planning process which was a bit confusing but nothing that threw anything off.

I had my wedding on the Gardenside on 10/21/18. I must have called multiple times over the 16 months I had this placed booked. Every time I called all my questions were answered and if it was something they/I needed to follow up on, I had the answer within 24 hours. The venue itself is beautiful if you want something more on the elegant side. The Granberry staff is great and my coordinator (Melissa) was amazing as well. The really take a lot off your hands so you can enjoy your wedding. My guest loved the venue as well. I heard multiple times ”I did not expect such a beautiful venue down at the end this road” LOL. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for any occasion. They made my Disney dream wedding come true. The money we payed this place is well worth the happiness and memories that will last forever. 🌹

Granberry Hills was the best decision we made in our wedding process! I was able to have my ceremony and reception there which was great for our guests and the day of they surpassed my expectations on the look and feel of it all. I loved that they were always transparent with me in the planning process, helped to decorate, provide you with an awesome day-of coordinator (we had Andrea), and are affordable for any budget. I am so happy we chose this venue for our special day because it will always be a day we will never forget and that is all thanks to Granberrys efforts and love for their brides.

Attended my nieces wedding at one of the most beautiful event venue, tucked away from mainstream. Large facility, private, scenic and great for photos.
