I never post bad reviews about any restaurant. But as a long time customer I was disrespected by a staff member & owner. I would recommend not going to this place.

First time stopping in, my wife was very impressed with the gluten-free offerings. I enjoyed the calamari and the pizza was great.

I had a variety of appetizers and drinks for happy hour. Restaurant is beautiful atmosphere is beautiful and Armando is the best bartender there is! Ask for a chocolate martini! You will die and go to heaven.

We had a wonderful lunch. Our salads were just right, the dressing wasnt overpowering. We all had chicken parmesan which was served with garlic butter or red sauce. It was a generous serving, which we all enjoyed. Thank you Milanos, for for an enjoyable, delicious lunch. Well be back.

Beautiful, small, cozy Italian restaurant. We met friends there for dinner and it was delicious. We all lived in Italy and it was a great atmosphere and it felt like we were over there again.

Several members of my family couldn’t eat the food because everything was over salted. This was the first time I have sent an entree back. I then ordered a $15 shrimp cocktail and I was served 5 small thawed precooked shrimp with marinara sauce. Bleh.

THIS PLACE IS LOUD!!!The food was priced well for what you get, moderate expensive but very good. The venue is cozy and pretty BUT poorly designed. I dont know whats going on here but I could literally focus on one person across the room and HEAR them talking. Even at half capacity, conversation in here is so loud I am impressed the waitress could hear my order. Then a guitarist had the gall to start playing right at the entrance INSIDE!This place is well priced for good food so thats why its a 5 for me but be warned, dont come intending to have a coherent conversation unless you are fine with constantly saying What? What did you say? or just smile and nod and pretend you know what your date is saying.

Chicken Rollatini burnt style. It also turned my pasta back and made my veggies taste burnt. 🔒Togo obviously. Everyone else’s was fine, weird how my first experience was bad. When I heard good things about it.

One of the BEST Italian restaurants you can go to. From the friendly professional service to the food, drinks, and even musical entertainment was a perfect treat. I recommend to everyone thats not afraid to spend money and not be cheap on the tip because its worth it and I will continue to be a loyal customer. Perfect for special occasions, impress a date, or just treat yourself and loved ones. Take your experience a step further if you want and dress to impress but you dont have too.

This is an Italian restaurant, play music that gives you that atmosphere! And why not have Italian bread in the basket instead of rolls? I had the chicken picatta, which was a bit bland, the pasta that came with it was heavenly. The wait staff was excellent, very attentive

Wonderful food and I got full so quick I had to take my entree home. Sam was an amazing waitress who was extremely attentive and super nice. She made the experience even more delightful. The calamari appetizer was delicious and the white sauce crab meat pasta was delicious.

Lamb Chops were wonderfully flavored, the demi-glaze was just perfect! Veggies were perfectly cooked and flavored simply from the demi-glaze. The only things I would say is the lamb was not evenly cooked only 1 was done medium rare which was the top one the other 3 were more mediums. The free bread they give out needs more flavor or they need a butter or an olive oil mix that has more flavor, its super bland and not worth the carbs and calories! Our server Samantha was sweet and super proper, and well mannered.

What a great place for outstanding Italian food. Our waitress was very good, the bread is warm and soft and really good dipped in the Alfredo sauce. We had the shrimp milano, the Chicken Marsala (the vegetables are seasoned just right), the eggplant. All were fantastic. Diner was so good we had no room for desert. We will be back soon.

We had our wedding and reception in the banquet room it was the perfect size for us. The Entire staff was amazing and gave us great service. The food was amazing. Warm atmosphere with saxophone and piano music greeting you at the door. The food and service were wonderful and I love the nostalgic feel as well. I ordered the linguini de mar, Maltese salad, and cheesecake for dessert. All were wonderful!

Elegant but friendly atmosphere; the food was delicious and well portioned. Their rolls are scratch made and the house salad was fresh. The Italian dressing was creamy but did not overwhelm the salad. There were just enough capers and butter sauce in the chicken piccata. My husband had the spaghetti and meatball and really enjoyed the well seasoned meatball. We will definitely visit this restaurant again!

I always order the Shrimp Milano with butter sauce. I called in my order for pick up. I just wish they would have added more sauce but the shrimp was amazing!

First visit here. Amazing food. Good sized portions, Excellent service. My ONLY criticism is the habit/choice to seat separate parties at adjacent tables. If it were crowded, i could understand it but the first three groups each got seated at adjacent tables and as close as the tables are, it seemed slightly intrusive. Other than that, it was an excellent experience!

Overpriced painfully mediocre food. Asked the waiter if the seafood in the Linguni de Mare was fresh or frozen. He said fresh, but it was so obviously not. The calamari were like rubber bands, the mussels were mushy and flavorless, the shrimp tough and chewy and the clams were the size of a pea. My dish arrived with sauce smudges on the side, which I thought was just sloppy plating. When I tried to wipe them off for the picture I realized that they were crusty and nearly baked on (GROSS). The pasta was not tossed in sauce, but upended in a perfect dome shape (like it was sitting in a bowl all day), probably microwaved before sauce is dumped on top. My husbands pizza looked like it was from 7-Eleven and tasted like high school pizza. The waiter was rude and shook hands with everyone that came in, which is really unhygienic and gross. Not only that, but he got belligerent when we pulled out our Groupon saying that it was only good for Dinner Entrees, even though he made no mention of this when we informed him of the Groupon first thing AND we ordered off the Dinner Menu... Guess pizza is a dessert now?? Really surprised they have the audacity to charge ~$20 a plate for frozen microwaved garbage you could buy at Olive Garden for half the price.

The worst, very expensive for low quality food.. my salad was brown and wilted I had the spaghetti and meatball. Yes the meat ball was a good size but the pasta was hard not Al dente. you are an Italian restaurant how are you gonna mess up on pasta 🤔 for the price Id rather go to Olive garden..

Lovely, relaxing dinner on the patio! Live guitar in the background. Service (Ruben) was excellent. Great with recommendations & attention. Mussels appetizer- with fabulous lemon cream sauce & fresh roasted garlic. The veal was tender & well prepared. Shrimp Alfredo was delicious - shrimp were well seasoned. Lamb had great flavor - not too gamey & served with a gorgeous demi-glaze. Wish I had saved room for dessert - next time. Would bump up stars but cocktail menu does not exist & options are few. Wine list is decent. Would really like cushions for these metal chairs on the patio. I’d give 5 stars then!

Italian food and service at this location is excellent. this place is absolutely one of my favorites. bring your appetite because portions are generous.

This is a place with a fancier atmosphere, great dessert (we had cheese cake and carrot cake), and delicious main dishes. My main dish was the Shrimp Milano which tasted wonderful. I only wish you got more than 4 shrimp. My boyfriend got Chicken Alfredo which he really enjoyed.

Extremely disappointed with $80+ pickup order. Specifically requested extra items and was told the order was being written down to ensure everything on the order was complete. However, it was not complete and got home with severalitems missing. Plus, the food was stone cold. It was obvious the food was pre-made and placed in to-go containers without being heated. Will NOT be going back to milanos.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. Even though it’s on Wurzbach it’s not the easiest place to find. The service was kind and attentive. Atmosphere relaxing. We had a group of five and all of our entrees were delicious. Excellent Italian dining and without the obnoxious crowds like at some other of the Italian restaurants.

I always love my people at Milanos strongly recommend the Italian Margaritas to everyone! AND Shirley Temples for the littles ;) This is one of the fav spots for me and mine!

Havent gone there in years. The waiter that served us hooked me up with a dish that I missed eating from there. (Just by adding some pesto sauce to the salmon but still)🤤. Awesome experience, great food, good price. Probably just needs more young ppl. Felt like if I was at an early bird special. But anyways, was awesome.

Excellent in every way! Our server, Maria, was awesome and on top of everything. The food was amazing and impressed the chef in our party. He ordered the Salmon Spinach salad and found the Salmon to be perfectly cooked and the presentation beautiful. I had the marvelous Fettuccine Alfredo and the other person in our party had the chicken cannelloni. Everyone was happy! And we all ordered desserts as well. Highly recommend the tiramisu!Thank you for a lovely evening.

Great food great music!

Delicious as always. Took my granddaughter for lunch. Shes15 and thought it was magnificent. The rolls were hot and fresh. Same for the sides salad. This is a limited review because I honestly cannot remember what we ate. However, I do know that. I have never had a bad meal or service here and I will be back for more.

No Hostess so we where waiting at the lobby for a good 5 min with nobody greeting us. Two new managers in the floor and neither one of them knew what they where doing. No smiles at customers or even making eye contact. No bartender so our server was doing our drinks, gotta give extra points to Juanita our waitress because of that. She was great.Food was different, wasn’t as tasty as before. $27 veal piccata presentation wasn’t good at all.

Unbelievable! So my friend just sent me this message:MilanoIts an italian restaurant. My friend was treating me to lunch and the server ignored us for about 30min. The manager and the host were amazing. But we left because it was so insulting. We were the only people there. A group came after us then a couple. Both tables got served, but not us.I would just chalk this up to one bad waitress but this is the third time Ive been told about this and experienced it myself a while back. I hope they fix this problem.

Food was so Good

This is one of our favorite restaurants and we especially enjoy the Milano Style dishes with chicken and shrimp. If you go during happy hour there is inexpensive wine to be had. The garlic Caper butter sauce is delicious. Pasta is al dente.

Milanos on Wurzbach always delivers wonderful meals and attentive and friendly servers. We find it our favorite place for many years. Party rooms are available and they take good care of you. Try them. You wont be disappointed!

Food was wonderful

This is a more formal setting than I had expected, but they were still happy to seat a group of us who had been out to the lake and were very casual. Both the food and the service were wonderful. It was mid-afternoon so there was no crowd.

A nice place to have a relatively quiet Italian lunch or dinner, especially for special occasions. Focus is on good food and service; not loud music in the background, or intrusive interuptions. Price-wise, probably a $$$ rating ... Not cheap, but reasonable for what you get.

The food is fabulous and they have a musician there every other Thursday night that is great - James Lee. However, the service was very poor the last couple of times I went. They did not have a bartender. So, getting a drink was like pulling teeth. I had 1 glass of wine and left after I waited 45 minutes for another one. I will only go for lunch moving forward.

Enjoyed the food. Had the shrimp Milano. The pasta had a great buttery garlic taste. The dinner salad was the right potion. Bread was nice warm. Service was a little slow but they were very polite and courteous. Prices were on the high side. Overall nice restaurant to go to.

This location of Milano was the first one my husband and I had been to several years ago and we had a good experience.Recently, my neighbors and I met at the Stone Oak location for happy hour. One of my neighbors got the Shrimp Milano, which looked really good. Today, my coworkers and I went for lunch to celebrate my coworkers birthday. I immediately told our server that I have a meeting and have a short time for lunch. She was quite on top of it to get our drinks and food orders out quickly - Shrimp Milano, Eggplant Parmesan, and Grilled Chicken. Everyone enjoyed the food!The slight hiccup was in trying to get a to-go box and pay the bill. I really had to leave and thankfully one of my coworkers offered to pay for my bill and bring my leftover food back to work.
