My son signed up with Karate America this year back in June of 2020. As a father who’s also taken martial arts as a young child before I’m very happy to see the progress my son has been showing since day 1.Three take aways I can give about Karate America in Plantation.1. My son says yes sir, no sir, please, thank you, and you welcome.. now more than ever before. Lol that’s a blessing all by itself I could stop with just this one ☝️.2. My son understands that leadership is much more than just loud talking and pointing fingers. Through Karate America my son is learning the benefits and values of always having a black belt attitude and why these type of traits are truly important during martial class and outside of class.3. My favorite thing about Karate America in Plantation is the instructor engagement with my child, While Mr. Perez is the head of the school, all of the other instructors like Ms. Rodriguez truly get it involved with the progress of these students to ensure they’re learning and comfortably picking up the information… Martial Arts is not easy and it truly takes a good instructor in order for your children to receive great value… And Karate 🥋 America in plantation has great instructors 👩‍🏫 👨‍🏫 !!

I love this place and how receptive my son is to the instructors. They are patient and the classes are engaging. Communication id a big thing for me and they find me just to check in. I love it here.

My boy loves this place!!! The instructors make it a fun learning environment! Not only do they teach karate in a fun environment, they teach and emphasize respect and discipline. I saw a huge difference in my son in only 2 weeks of attending class. It’s amazing. I highly recommend this place! We love it!

Traditional take my dough scam place. I had my kid join for a while and pulled him out. They sales pitch the parents everytime we were there and they get the kids involved to egg the parents on to buy new stuff. They have several different types of shirts and weapons that they keep introducing and switch things up to make it seem like you have to constantly buy stuff. And then your kid is like oh Im the only one that doesnt have that can I get it. They obviously cant teach you six different weapons at the same time. You cant learn anything at this location. Theyre just trying to nickel and dime you. Even the name is a lie. They dont teach your kids karate here they teach them taekwondo. There is a difference. Also they wont even allow your kid to get a black belt unless you upgrade to a higher package.

We began coming here in March and I love seeing the positive changes in both of my kids, son age 4 and daughter age 6. The entire staff is kind and patient with the kids and they have a lot of fun attending the classes. My daughter is now in the black belt training program and she’s doing so well, I love seeing them improve each class.

Ive been a customer since 2018. The quality of instruction is excellent, the instructors are patient and attentive, and the schedules are convenient. Great place for children to learn contact sparring in a safe environment, all while learning morals and values that help them succeed not only in karate, but also in school and life.

My two children, now ages 5 and 7, started here in February 2020 at the recommendation of family friends. They both love going every week as often as possible. All the instructors are very patient and high energy to match the kids’ in the class. Both my son and daughter have improved with their listening, confidence, and focus. I love how they get the parents involved and make it an all inclusive, family friendly environment. I am so happy to have found this local gem for us to enjoy and highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, safe place to learn martial arts.

My son joined Karate America roughly 2 months ago. It’s been very fun watching him improve so quickly as well as coming out of his shell and gaining more confidence as a person. Master Perez and Miss Rodriguez are extremely professional and do a great job with the kids. I’m excited to watch my son go through the process of earning his black belt. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This establishment has the upmost professionalism for families looking for quality martial arts experience. My son went to their Summer camp and was hooked from then on. He has learned a high level of discipline and technical uses of various martial arts weapons. As such, his confidence has grown. We are more than happy with their process!

We started at Karate America this past February right before the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff was wonderful with the flexibility of having Zoom classes everyday. The experience I have witnessed at karate America plantation is that of a family. The instructors really care about their students and strive to make them the best they can be! My son loves the academy so much! The instructors are awesome and in as little as a month (he is 6 years now) he was showing a lot of improvement in his coordination and in school and at home I noticed he was more focused, paying more attention to instructions or even when we were just talking to him! He has made new friends and he is always excited to come to class! Karate has made a very good impact in his life and I am glad we chose Karate America. They do not only focus on teaching them the techniques of Karate but also they also work on self development and character skills!

Karate America in Plantation Florida is an amazing school! My son has been attending classes since September and has transitioned into the Leadership Program during this time. He LOVES this school, especially the instructors Master Perez and Mr. Rey. The instructors take the time to ensure that all the children are learning the forms as well as important lessons in how to protect yourself from bullies and strangers.My son was shy and was having trouble with some kids bullying him in school so after he asked to start Karate lessons we explained to the instructors that we wanted to increase his self-confidence and ability to stand up for himself. The difference between last September and now (10 months) is incredible. He is confident and is now the boy that sticks up for the other kids that are being picked on, and he loves Karate and the challenges that learning these skills present.My son also is very active in Baseball, I say this to explain how Karate improves other aspects of life as well. One of the things they teach in this school is self-control and concentration. My sons skills not only in the shortstop position but especially as a pitcher have increased 100 times, his ability to concentrate on pitching and to block everything else out is incredible now and has increased his success in these positions. This ability is directly related to Karate and what he is being taught by Master Perez and Mr. Rey.Grades, and respect for themselves and others especially their family is very important and Master Perez and Mr. Rey are very active in each of the students academic and personal lives. My son will continue to attend Karate at the Plantation location and Master Perez and Mr. Rey are two instructors and mentors that we will support 100%!I highly recommend this location to anyone that is looking to enroll your child into Karate!!!

Ive been taking the kickboxing classes at Karate America for just over a month and I love it. I signed up after taking one of their monthly free boot camps. The instructors are full of energy and extremely motivating. The environment is clean and friendly. I always feel great after attending these classes. I wholeheartedly recommend Karate America if you are interested in kickboxing or just looking for a great workout.

My daughter, Victoria is attending Karate America Plantation for 8 months now. She loves it. She is not only learning martial arts but also she is building self confidence. The instructors know all the kids by their names and they pay attention to their individual needs. I highly recommend this academy.

My 5 year old son has been attending this school for almost a year now, and he loves it! (If it was for him, every day would be Karate day!) My daughter LOVES this place she goes almost all week long. The instructors are amazing and always have great attitudes. I love that their practice it is not taken lightly and the Black Belt Attitude is encouraged in class as well as outside of the class room.

These teachers keep getting better as my Tiny Tiger gains better form and greater skills. The teachers demonstrate and promote discipline and a love for the martial arts. MY son has been at Karate America for almost 3 years and just earned his black belt. He loves it! :-) He enjoys competing at the tournaments, camp, CIT, leadership and the discipline and respect. He helps with classes and that has built his confidence. Master Perez and Mr. Rey expect the the best and that is what the kids deliver. It is an awesome atmosphere where all are respected and the kids know what to expect. My son practically lives there as he is there almost everday. They learn self defense, weapons that they compete with and build integrity. My son plans to continue to become aMaster like Master Perez at a level as high as he can and own his own school some day. We may pay for it, but it is the best money spent for my sons growth as a person and I joke about how they should charge us rent for all the time we spend there!! :-) I recommend Karate America Plantation to all parents.

My 4 year old has been attending 3/4 days per week for 5 months now and really enjoys Karate. Her skills, strength, speed, coordination are developing and improving quite well. Instructors are wonderful. They really balance strictness/fun/physical challenge very well. We love Sense Ranchez! He is amazing and so sweet with the younger kids.

My son has been training here for about 15 months. The instructor staff at Karate America Plantation are extremely knowledgeable and are amazing with the kids! They certainly go above and beyond by providing extra activities such as Halloween parties, birthday parties, and special family events throughout the year. Great job to Karate America Plantation!

Excellent training. All my family have been going to karate America for the past 4 years. One girl black belt other 2 on their way. I have been doin Krav Maga also for that time and enjoy the training and workout. Great experience for kids of all ages and highly recommended

My review is for the establishment in Plantation by Peters Rd. These people are real scumbags. I took my 5 yr old son after winning a free month trial. I went by and Ms Rodriguez and Rey sat with my son and started training immediately in some of their routines.They then tell me I have to pay $79 for Registration. They tell me it will be less than $129 per mth.After running my card for the $79, they come up with a contract and tell me I have to sign it to qualify for the free month and that this amount will be automatically withdrawn from my bank every month. I told them I was not interested if this was the case, to please refund my $79. They simply refused and told me they dont do any refunds at all. They seemed very nice and polite at first, but please dont be foolish. Do not trust these people.. They are Dirty.!!

Our son has been part of the Karate America family since 2017. Our initial reason for entering the school was to assist with self discipline since he was in kindergarten. He has learned so much from our KA family. He now shows self control in most instances, he loves to perform in front of others and he just simply love the KA family. He is committed to getting his black belt one day so I am glad to know that we will be here for a long time.

Me and my family have been part of Karate America Plantation for over a year and we cannot express how pleased we are with the instruction and the environment that is provided. Master Perez, Ms Rodriguez, and Mr Camargo are not only great instructors, they are even better people. We started our oldest boy at 4 yrs old with the ATA Tigers program which I might add is a great program for kids because it gets them active but also teaches life skills such as confidence, leadership, goal setting, perserverence, teamwork, and many others. I started on my black belt journey shortly afterwards to finish something I had started but never finished when I was a kid, and my wife is now doing Krav Maga which she loves and looks forward to at every class. Karate America Plantation is not just a martial arts school to us, they are like family. We highly recommend them for the whole family.

When my son started to take classes there at age 6 first of all he was shy, he had a low self esteem, he wouldnt take no for an answer, orthewise he start crying, he was just an average student in school...forgot to mention that he didnt even like karate because it was too much structure for him...Weeks later... the instructor was always so patient with him...they tell me to never give up.... just continue to bring him to class even though he was always distracted in classNow every where I go with him they so impressed by the way my son carry himself, showing respect for other, he had a psychologist in school that he was working with for his behavior, they told me he act so mature now, that they have to dismiss him from the program.I would recommend this school to anyone whould want their child to have not only better grades in school but also good discipline and respect for others
