This property has a great team all around. The office works diligently to help with your needs and I have never had a work order take more than 36 hours before a maintenance worker is there to fix the problem. Highly recommend.
Absolutely great experience! Staff was very professional and helped me secure an apartment on such short notice. They responded quickly to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Top notch team.
This Apartment complex has been exceptional as a realtor finding a place for my clients was difficult in this climate however lyric Parker got them set up within 24 hours when most places had a 30-60 wait period. The staff has been extremely kind and patient as well as very helpful if you need a place to live it’s next to fiesta Texas a no la Cantera this is the place! Tell them Joseph Brooks with Redbird Realty referred you and I’ll bring your house warming gift. This place is Awesome check out the amenities!
I have been living in the Mira Vista at la cantera apartments at the quarry for nine months, and until now I have been pleased with the service provided by the administration of the departments, I requested a copy of the contract and they had it ready in 10mintand with courteous treatment, also request some repairs in the house, a cleaning in the hall outside, and pest control for the apartment, and the next day in the morning they sent the staff to carry out said workwithquickly, and efficiently ..my personal experience living here so far has been good.
The hot tub never works
If youve ever wondered what it would be like to live at an apartment where the management has no customer service skill and shows abysmal caretaking effort, look no further. Mira Vista is run by a group of people who will do everything in their power to blame any problems on the next person up the chain. I had a manager here actually blame the owner group for the lack of dog waste bags in the dispensers. The gate is always broken. The amenities are often closed. They only have 1 dumpster, and have mandatory valet trash. This would be fine, except the trash is not picked up on weekends, and randomly is not collected during the week(racoons, coyotes quickly take advantage of this).I had a large 1 bedroom apartment, that was recently renovated. Whoever they hired must have been drunk for the entire job, because there was not one level surface, appliance, or cabinet door in there. Paint had been spilled on the wall and not fixed. On move in day, I paid a non-refundable $300 pet fee, to move into an apartment that was clearly not even cleaned from the last pet. They explained the fee as the cost of fumigation and extra carpet cleaning necessary after a pet moves out. There was old dog hair lying in spots around the apartment they gave me.Management never communicates to the community for any reason. You will walk to the gym and find a sign on the door saying it is closed. Same for the pool, and gates will be turned on and off randomly. There was an active shooter situation in the neighborhood one day, and no emails or any communication were sent to residents. This is a beautiful property with amazing potential. It is a shame that it is so poorly taken care of. It covers a large amount of acreage, so it could be great if you have a dog, or if you are an outdoor enthusiast. However, it is just so mismanaged, that it is better just to move along.
It’s been disappointing all around since my move in date; everything breaks down daily, the pool is always closed for “repairs”, which has yet to be opened in weeks!! The gym closed for building repairs, has been more than a few weeks- everything is falling apart, the front office never answers their phones, I’ve been calling for weeks and it just rings!! Nice employees but seem very incompetent to handle the job, especially handling some noise disruptions. One word to sum up this place, frustrating!!!!
It was nice at first but when we moved out asked for to much money months after we moved out. Asked for over 3000 dollars.
The staff and the management have been giving the run around to my roommate and I after we have been trying to leave this disgusting roach-infested apartment. I can not recommend anybody living in this place, especially not if they have kids because I can guarantee they will wake up in the middle of the night with bugs crawling over them MULTIPLE days out of the week.
Hot tub never works
Outdated, lousy communication skills, and roach infested, but the pest control isn’t allowed to spray anywhere the roaches actually are. Brandon apparently doesn’t fill in his coworkers about complaints, because I had to reexplain my situation to every person I’ve talked to in the office.
Maintenance requests takes a few weeks to get checked.Dog park and Playground is in bad shape but no one fixes them.Their idea of 24 hours notice to move pets for inspections is sending you a flyer at 6 pm to begin at 8am ending at 6 pmConcierge service is nice, mail is nice, pool nice, but the rest need improvement. Im not being petty. I like it here but if the above issues were improved It would be easily 5 stars. Yes the issues are that bad to merit 2 stars.
Lived here for over 4 years, and never had a problem with management, the building, etc... Can you get better views in any apartment in SA? Since the upgrades, the apartments are really nice, staff takes care of problems in a timely manner, and you are in a really nice area close to major employers. And of course, there are always minor problems everywhere, but we never had to deal with anything major, so I give 5 stars.
This is a great place to live!! Right in La Cantera area, the staff is awesome and always helpful and friendly. The apartments are modern and a very good price for the amenities and square footage!!
This place is a complete scam. It looks nice but the units are clearly aged and upcharged just for the location. At move out i am being charged $1300 (a full months rent) worth of cleaning fees that make no sense! And there is no way to dispute any of these charges! Absolutely not worth living here.
We absolutely love it here! I was worried due to some of the ratings! But it blows my mind reading those and then comparing it to my experience here! Lydia was absolutely amazing! She has been so helpful since day one! I ask so many questions and I am very picky! She has had everything done that was needed before move in and I have no complaints! Anytime I needed something it was taken care of immediately. Anytime I have been told they will call back they always do! The location is great! The apartments are beautiful! And there is so much to do just in the apartment complex. I am extremely happy with Mira Vista! I don’t know about all the staff in the office but I can personally say working with Lydia has been great! So ask for her!
Went into the office to renew my lease and they said they’d email the documents. Deadline passed and I paid an extra $250 due to the month to month rate. I called to try to get it sorted out. They said they saw the internal email about me renewing my lease and they’d send the email with the forms to sign shortly. Another month and extra $250 passes and still no email. I call again today and they say the assistant manager is out but maybe they’ll send the email out this afternoon. When I asked if I would be able to get a credit for the extra $500 I’ve spent on rent the past two months they said no because it was the first time I brought up the issue which was clearly not the case. The fact is they probably could have taken care of the lease renewal when I went in the first time as opposed to emailing. But now they keep kicking the can down the road and blaming me for the leasing office not doing their job. Would not recommend.
Being military you always had to leave your place clean when you leave. I always pay for someone to come scrub everything down. So after 5 year i found out that they put a $314 charge on my credit with out ever contacting me. Rent beware it seems nice at first but once you leave they will come back to haunt you STAY AWAY
If you’re looking for a gated community, this is not the place for you.... the gates are open 24/7. I thought that I would be living in a gated community at least that’s what it states in the Brochure, I’ve been here for 3 months and I’ve used the gate key maybe 3 times..... so that averages out to be once a month.... lighting struck it, there’s a rock stuck in it, oh yeah the best one of all, we leave it open so that contractor can go in and out with ease....Think twice, I wished that I did!
I wish I could give them ZERO. Do not rent here. They will rip you off when you move out. It is absolutely ridiculous. They are charging me $1300. The apartment I left was in a perfect condition. Do not recommend.
If you are moving in from out of town and dont really know where to go. This complex is your best bet! The price is amazing for the location. It is located right across the street from the best shopping in San Antonio, next to fiesta Texas, next to La Cantera Resort and Spa, and only a 15 minute drive from Boerne which is a cute town. The grounds are beautiful.
Nice place to stay! Lot of apartments with single and double bedroom facility. Many Indians are also staying due to its proximity to Indian stores, Temple and its close to UTSA also. Maintenance centre is there to attend to repairs and other problems. The swimming pools are nicely maintained. This community also has security arrangement like entry and exit through automated doors.
This place is so great not only for its location right next to Six flags and near UTSA. The apartments and the entire complex look great and the price cannot be beat. Each balcony has great size, lots of privacy and at the same time a great view of Six flags rides in the background. This is a perfect and affordable place for students. We recommend this place hands down!
Beautiful. Clean. Very modern apartments. Quiet. Friendly neighbors. Maintenance is really good.
Hi my name is Cassandra Valdez jus to say a great place to call home the intire staff always quick to greet with a smile very helpful with anything you bring to thier attention a very clean safe place to live I have Ben here 2yrs n have had not one problem our maintenance works always on site for a problem if occurred shops schools intire community very beautiful I would recommend verybody if looking for renting come to Mira Bista n see our beautiful surroundings Thank you Mira Vista management for taking care of us residents.
Ill start my review with the couple of positive things about this apartment. Its in a pretty cool location, and if you get lucky enough to get a unit in the right spot, you can have an incredible view for a pretty reasonable price. Thats about where the good news ends.Maintenance is pretty good about small things, but when there is damage to the building or anything that requires a contractor, the management is horribly slow about getting someone out to fix it, there were several instances of roofing damage, gutters being broken, and electrical issues with the hallway lighting that, in some of the mentioned cases, went unaddressed for months.Upon move out, I was unable to be present for the walkthrough because I was out of state, and apparently waiting until I returned was not an option. I should have known this was going to be bad news, I was left unable to debate any of the $700 that I was to be charged for, most of which was for absurd reasons. The complex claimed it would be $260 for carpet repair, when a simple carpet shampoo would have more than sufficed - and which I would have been happy to pay for. Another $300 to resurface the tub, for which I still have no explanation why it needed doing, nor why Im responsible for it. Finally another $120 for cleaning, paint, and repair to the walls for holes where nails were to hang pictures, something I was told earlier on was acceptable to leave so long as they were under a certain diameter, of which all of my holes were. Its clear that the management of this property is just out to juice their tenants for every last penny that they can because Im sure theyre struggling to compete with the newer, much nicer complexes that are popping up in their neighboring area. I would recommend looking elsewhere for the next place you call home.
Despite the number of college kids living here, it is very quiet and there is a really good feeling of community. Everyone regularly gets together to share food and laughs at the pool. The time is family friendly and efforts are made to keep it that way.I have had to call maintenance several times and never have had to wait more than 30 minutes for someone to come to my apartment and fix the issue. They are very good about explaining the issue. The office staff is very helpful and everything has always been prompt and to my liking. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet place to live.
Very pleased with the apartment and location proximity to UTSA. A special thank you to Debora for making all of this come together with all the paperwork that needed to be filled out. The tour of the complex was detailed and you made it very welcoming for us. Everyone we have met so far has added to the great experience.
The location and view are amazing!!! The apartment and staff are great, except for the front office staff. Especially if youre female. They treated my boyfriend great but me awful. Theyre snobby and stuck up. They need better customer service skills. Ive asked around they said they was great except how they treated their wives or girlfriends. Ive also had packages go missing from the front office. This is not the place to live if you want to be treated with respect. Ive never stayed at a apartment complex where I was treated so badly!!! Id expect this kind of treatment from some crappy section 8 apartment not an complex that cost this much!!!!
Staff changes out very quickly. Any experienced apartment hunter knows that this is a bad indicator. Nonetheless, we ignored it and attempted to stay here for 3 months. Due to lost documents this was forced to be a 5 month stay.Prices arent terrible, but there is cheaper for better in the area.Noise is terrible.Condition and maintenance is lacking. If being next to La Cantera is a must, then that is at least one strong selling point.
Management is extremely rude and absolutely terrible at communicating. I lived in a one bedroom unit that was not even worth the $1000+ I was paying every month. It was old and very small. You only pay for location. When I asked about transferring to a two bedroom unit when my lease was up, they had me fill out all of the paperwork and told me I was only needing to pay a new $110 admin fee. The day came to move and I was then asked for $1200 in new deposits and fees, even after I asked several times if I needed to pay a new deposit and was told no. This was a shocker to me so they agreed on letting me pay $838 that day and then paying the rest in payments during my lease. When I came back with the money order of $838 they then tried to tack on a transfer fee to pay that day of $250. I decided to sign a notice to vaccate that day because I could not believe the lack of communication and shocking fees that I had never heard of before that day. The next day the manager called me and still tried to convince me to move into the two bedroom unit, now saying I would not have to pay the $250 transfer fee. She didn’t understand that I had movers ready and everything packed for the day before. Not for the next day. This was a huge inconvenience for me and my young daughter. Because I was scheduled to move on the 23rd of the month, (their decision) I was only charged a prorated amount of rent that month. After all of their mistakes, and me just staying in my one bedroom and signing a notice to vacate, they wanted to charge me the remainder of the rent even though this was THIER MISTAKE. Not mine. Do not live here unless you want to get bombarded with unexpected fees and deal with poor communication from management.
I have never written a review before because Im a very reasonable and understanding person but this management staff is definitely the worst I have ever dealt with! I have lived in various apartments over the last 7 years and I have never been treated so poorly BEFORE I even lease there! You would think they would at least act like they care when youre trying to decide whether to live there or not but they dont and theyre not afraid to show it! Trust me all the reviews are very accurate in that the management is very unprofessional and rude! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! That is all...
Great Location ! Terrible Management........Below is what I noted on the move in paperwork. Apartment 215Master bedroomToilet wobblesCarpet seriously lifting at entry to bathroom. Big gap for bugs.Electrical outlet lose & crackedCarpet lifting throughout apt.Scuffs & scratches on PergoHall bathroom doesnt close/lockIce maker not workingDented fridgeCracked / broken kitchen drawerUnder threshold front door - gap needs caulkingRoaches (baby ones), ants traveling in master bathroom from area with lifted carpet to broken toilet... Bugs, bugs, bugs ... Bug poop found in corners. They never fixed a thing, wait, they did fix the lock on the hall bathroom............. Then they charged for paint and cleaning when I left.Really? There for 3 months and the paint was damaged???? No doubt there wasnt any painting or cleaning done to the place. Just a way to keep our money. I contacted the manager who said she would get an adjustment but never spoke with me again............not worth the hassle when dealing with the loss of a loved one.Great location, beautiful area,,,,, just have to live with lifting carpet, wobbly toilets and bugs bugs bugs..........
+There are some really helpful office staff here, e.g. Raymond and Tatiana,_ However, The system is not helpful if a simple shortcoming occurs, e.g.:1. It was the labor day weekend and I was not sure how to submit my rent for the past month, and once I wanted to take care of it after holidays, they charged me with a late fee (not fair!)2. upon moving out, even though the apartment was super clean, they charged me 300 $ for some nonsensical reasons ( wall paint, carpet cleaning, general cleaning, ...). the sad thing is that even though I did not agree with their evaluation of the apartment cleanness, they have the authority to force whatever price they want to charge. not fair system again. this system helps billionaires to milk students like me and other middle class people.I do not recommend this place, especially for the students.
I am a resident of this property... Seems that the office is so not interested in helping its residents. I have lived here 3.5 years and have waited months to get a sink fixed. do not talk to totiana in the office. She lies straight to your face.. They promise call backs and then make excuses blaming the Manager...
Honestly I miss living at this apartment complex after moving to the San Miguel. This complex has a great pool, helpful staff, and their maintenance was on point every time I needed repairs. There are college students living at this property, but I hardly heard a peep out of them. My only qualm with this place is the number of irresponsible parents that live here and refuse to control their children while at the pool. That and as neat as you may think the fireworks can be, theyre pretty darn annoying after a while.
Really nice surroundings. A lot of eating options nearby. Area could use a grocery store closer by.
Before I moved here I was scared since all the reviews here are pretty negative but I also had some friends that used to live here and loved it. I took a chance and decided to rent here and am very happy with this place. Nice apartments and size and a great location. There are parties going on at the pool very often but dont really bother me. Curbside trash could be picked up quicker but other than that, this place is pretty good. Staff is nice and the one time I had an maint issue they came out that same day.
Great service, great view, great prices!!!
I lived here for the past year and I absolutely loved it! In fact, the only reason Im leaving is because Im moving to Austin, and I chose to live at the same apartment complex they have in Austin. I really dont know what the bad reviews are about. Ive never had any problems and when I did the maintenance was quick to respond and fix the issue. Maybe the only thing I have to complain about is a time I was supposed to get a package, went to the office to see if they had it, and they said no. A few weeks later they called me saying theyve had a package here for me for weeks. So that was pretty annoying but whatever. All together I thought it was a great and safe place to live and I wish I could stay here longer!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I wish i could give this place a zero star!!! When I first came to see this apartment I was showed a apartment facing six flags. After signing the lease I realized I was put in a different apartment. These apartments only look good on the outside. There old, and also small in the inside. All appliances and fixtures are old and outdated. These apartments have all kinds of problems! The apartment I was put in had a faulty pipe that was leaking behind the walls where the shower is between my apartment and my neighbors. I was out of town for two weeks when i received a phone call from the office saying that my apartment had flooded and that they had let them selves in my apartment. All the walls in the closet, bathroom and pantry became all black mold. It had been changing colors for awhile but I never knew why because I have never had this happen to me in any other apartment I had ever stayed in. I have been in even worser places in ghetto apartments and never had this kind of problems. To make a long story short I ended up having to throw away thousands of dollars in clothes and other items that had gotten damaged or ruined in this flood that wasnt even my fault. I got no kind of compensation for anything that was ruined! Took forever to get fixed too on top of all that. If you need something big fixed like your a.c. or something like that good luck!!!! It would take weeks. Maintenance is only good for fixing small things. A lot of times I would call and make a work order and maintence would never show up. Then I would call back to see why and its because they never even made the work order because they forgot or got too busy. Not to mention the apartments are all bug and roach infested. I even got bit by a spider one night sleeping and woke up to a big spider bit on my arm. The management for this place is real poor and only care to get your money and thats all. I had been asking them for the key to the gym since day one and every time I would remind them they would tell me come back again tomorrow or next week. Finally just got to the point I said forget about it. I stayed there for a year and never got to use any of the ammenites. Also the pool area which is always dirty is filled with non resident people all the time. Since the gate is always open non residents can and do go to this pool, and its always packed to the point where you cannot even enjoy the pool. Also they advertise this place as being a gated community but the gates almost never are working and almost always are just wide open for anybody to come in and out as they please. These apartments false advertise a lot of things so beware. I would not recommend these apartments for anybody, and especially for the price. They was charging me $1,160 a month for a one bedroom apartment. Not worth the money at all...take your hard earned money somewhere else. There are a lot of other apartments in the area that are way cheaper and way better. With a much friendlier management. I have lived in a lot of different apartment communities and this one by far was the worst one... DO NOT MOVE HERE! save yourself a big headache!!!!!!!! Only good thing was location because it was close to UTSA and la Cantera mall. If you dont necessarily have to live by UTSA or La Cantera dont move here. There are a lot of other apartments in the area that are way better!!!
This is a great place to live for several reasons: near the Shops at La Cantera, near the RIM, near UTSA (3-minute bus ride), friendly people (tenants and staff). There are some downsides you should be aware of, just like any place. Many improvements are being made including new roofing tiles for all the buildings (=noise, although temporary). Gate is always broken. Fireworks from nearby Fiesta Texas are really loud for 20 minutes every night during the season. But the one that really bothers me is the air conditioner in the gym is perpetually broke. So unless you dont mind exercising in 110 degrees and 75% humidity, windows closed, youll be sorely disappointed in the gym, although the equipment is of good quality.
I have lived here since March. No one picks up after their dog. My car has been broken into. They have no way for you to pay rent, outside of office hours except ach and Im not letting them near my accounts I only give cashiers checks. This place is way to expensive for the way your treated. Bathroom plumbing is weak, poop every where, no wiggle room. Read your lease very carefully before you sigb, even in the event of death or military or job relocation they will not let you out of your lease except for 3.5x times it. Oh by the way if you pass, your estate is responsible for your rent. Theres a reason why only 2 or 3 people have given 4 or 5 stars reviews, with the vast majority being 1 star. Stay away, there are least expensive places with better amenities, upkeep, and contracts.
I had lived there for two years. The experience was terrible because of the quality of the management. Except of many trivials of dificiencies, two main events discourage me to stay there. I had not confidence for the capability of the management to manage the tenants. My neighbors changed frequently, and they often made noises and messed the stairs, such as broken glasses that are very dangerous for kids. I think the management had a poor organization. They once had to break into one neighborhoods room because the tenants fled, but the management wrongly broke in my closet outside my apartment as well. I felt less safe to stay there with the management and the neighbors. Be careful!!! Before you decide to leave, you have to watch out your deposit and the requirements of cleanup. I spent a week and purchased a lot of stuffs to cleanup the apartment as well as the cost of professional carpet cleaning. I can only get half of my deposit even the management said nothing dissatisfying part when they checked the apartment after my cleaning. I dont think the management respected me well as a two years high quality tenant. I think the management was worsening there to a low end motel. If people want to stay there for a long period, I dont think theres a good choice.
Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else!!! Its not worth the money and management is extremely rude, dog poop never gets picked up trash dont always get picked up on days it supposed to, the front Gate is never fixed so any person can just drive in and steal what ever they want and theres nothing you can do about it, the gym is pretty much always close due to something .. Not everyone can make a payment on the first day of each month so youll find that the Assistant manager /Manager likes to make treats of eviction notice for a late payment on day 3 !!!!!Youll regret signing the lease
I am very disappointed with the staff and service I have received while living at Mira Vista. I have lived at many apartment complexes and this is the first one I have felt the need to write a review about. I have had multiple issues which the staff refuses to respond to. Residents repeatedly park in the covered parking that I pay for and when I inform staff of the issue they do not return my calls. Another incident involved my ceiling leaking for two days before they finally sent a technician up to deal with the problem. My lease ends July 8th and I could not be happier! Please consider another option as your new home.
Ive NEVER had to write a review like this or any review, however given the current circumstances I feel it is necessary and must be documented.READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN YOUR LEASE!My apartment unit has been 86 degrees since Wednesday November 1, 2017! I have a special needs chIld who requires special care and preparation with regard to any slight deviation to his routine and wasnt informed that the A/C unit needed to be replaced until 4PM Thursday November 2, 2017, which NO ONE in the office could seem to give me a status before that time even though I had been calling repeatedly for an update in hopes they would comprehend the urgency of this matter! THE OFFICE STAFF KEPT GIVING ME THE SAME REPLY all the way until 5:45PM, Thursday November 2, 2017; Itll get fixed by 6PM.Its Friday November 3, 2017 4PM and I was just informed that I will be without an A/C unit until NEXT WEEK! (Or until the new A/C unit is shipped) and I was told to open my windows and turn the unit off for the weekend since it will only be in the 80s this weekend.Meanwhile my apartment is still 86 DEGREES AND/OR HIGHER DURING THE DAY AND 84 DEGREES AT NIGHT! HOW ARE THESE ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES OK?!?!?!?
Ive loved living here, until recently we got new neighbors that are loud and now we have ants. Weve told the apartment about the ants they said theyd spray outside. We put our own traps inside, and stay clean, but they are still coming. Im not sure if the new neighbors are dirty and are keeping the ants coming. But we can not get rid of them.On a plus side the apartment is safe and in a great location. The apartments are a little older, but they have nice tall ceilings and great crown molding! Youre allowed to paint an accent wall making it feel more like home. When we moved in, our apartment smelled really bad like animals had ruined the carpet. Even after they were professionally cleaned. We told them about it and the next week we had brand new carpet put in.We have an apartment with a garage and its amazing the garage is HUGE! with tons of storage. Its worth the extra money for the garage!Since weve lived here the hot tub has not worked at all. Also something to be mindful of, they do not let you out of your contract easy. You have to pay a ridiculous amount of money and then they still ding your credit. So make sure you want to stay here the entire time. Were moving out because we bought a house and the apartments going to stay empty while we pay for it cause its cheaper to leave it empty then try and get out of our lease. We even said you can show it while its empty to get someone in here so that when our time is up they will have someone fill it right away or fill it before our lease is up, but they wouldnt except that without charging us the reletting fee. So we both loose on this deal.
These apartments are fairly priced in a good location, but AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. They are a money-hungry corporation that cares very little about the residents. My boyfriend and I have been living here for about six months and, it’s been the WORST experience since. From simple requirements, such as applying, to our most complex, urgent issue, A ROACH INFESTATION; it’s been an uphill battle with MV Apartments. They have not worked with us in regards to any issue.I previously lived in a student housing apartment complex for TWO YEARS and never ran into the amount of problems that we have here. The most frustrating aspect in the roach infestation issue is that MV Apartments has attempted to blame my boyfriend and I for the entire problem. To start, that is extremely rude considering the fact that a pest control specialist supervisor, from Worldwide Pest Control, inspected the apartment and concluded that there was no sanitary issue (on our part). Second, MV Apartments has had pest control treat our apartment six different times, and soon after a pest control specialist visited / treated our apartment three different times. Nonetheless, the problem still persisted. If you like broken appliances, re-occuring mold, and a roach infestation, then this is the place for you.The management has not been much help either. My boyfriend and I spoke with MV’s apartment manager and not one issue was resolved. We went ahead and asked for the regional manager’s contact information, but MV’s apartment manager refused to give us that information. I have also sent numerous emails to their corporate email address found in the resident handbook, and I have not received a reply back (even though it states that they will reply within two business days). Lastly, I sent a certified letter to an address, for “Resident Relations” provided in the resident handbook, and still, not one issue has been resolved. This apartment complex is nothing but a fraud, and if you have the chance to spare yourself from them, then I would advise you to do so.
Overpriced and totally not worth it here. The staff is so rude and lies about small details. Debra I believe her name is so unprofessional and wasnt at all knowledgable on the property. Loud neighbors and thin walls. Keep looking.
This is by far the worst staff for an apartment that you will ever encounter. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Terrible maintenance, nothing will ever be fixed and everything is broken. Do not make the mistake of moving in here
I never stayed anywhere where the staff was so mean. The staff was rude when you talk to them on the phone and they let jerks put trash on your car and blast music and get away with it all so they can fill the room space. worst apt complex ever.
Hands down the worst management company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Be prepared to be ignored and given the run around if you have maintenance issues.
We moved to Mira Vista in December of 2012. We live on the third floor with a beautiful view of the golf course and city skyline. This is the only positive thing about these apartments. We are on month 10 of our lease now and have had a seriously leaking roof in 3 different locations (kitchen, laundry room and family room) since we moved here. The maintenance manager drags his feet in getting the issue addressed (for job security I think and kickbacks from his contractors of choice) and we still have a roof leak in the family room after the latest repair last week. Its so bad that the walls and window are warped and the blinds cant be used because they crape against the window frame. Our television sits in front of the window so every time it rains we have to get out the towels and a trash can and move it away from the leak. Weve had to wake up in the middle of the night multiple times to perform this same routine over and over again. The maintenance assts come and help by poking holes through the drywall so the leaking water can more easily find its way to the trash can. These holes in our ceilings have been placed in one location or another since we moved in. I would love to share pictures of this if I could.Only the most recent of the multiple property managers (3 or 4 to my count) hired has gotten on the maintenance managers case to take care of it and thats only after we remind them that we still have a leak. This is especially effective when you address it in front of a potential resident.I also disagree with another reviewers comment about the parties at the pool being okay. We live across the street from the pool and most of the participants to these parties are outside self-invited individuals that get dropped off for a college party. They leave drunk and make noise until early in the morning. These uninvited guests come in through the open gates because they are always broken and left open so anyone can get in and park in the open spots (like where I’m supposed to). As to the trash left out forever; the apartment complex has changed over to valet trash pick-up outside of the apartment door so it’s left out from 6pm until whenever the contracted pickup service gets around to getting it which has been after midnight. We also have had problems with the dryer vent in our apartment being clogged with birds’ nests, causing us to have to dry our clothes 4 and 5 times per load. It took the Maintenance staff 6 visits before the issue was resolved and they blamed it on the dryer rental company and required we call them to have the dryer checked first before they would address it. We did that and it was confirmed that it was a clogged vent. When the maintenance staff first decided to attempt a repair they used a shop vac to blow the vent from the laundry room. The shop vac was so dirty that it set off our smoke alarm from all the dirt and dust. The second time they came (after a repeated request) a different maintenance staff member came and repeated the same step! When that didnt work, I went to the managers office to find that they had claimed the issue was fixed! When I shared that it wasnt, the most recent property manager wrote her own request stating they had to address the issue from the outside of the building and remove the birds’ nests. Like magic, the issue was fixed. I think this department spends most of their time working on job security and driving around in their golf carts to look busy.Less important negative issues include residents driving way too fast through the community; there is limited sidewalk access so you have to be very careful when walking your dog around or taking a stroll. Lastly, there are very irresponsible pet owners that do not pick up after their dogs so finding dog poop on your shoes after walking through the grass is commonplace. As you may guess from my laundry list of bad experiences I highly suggest you look elsewhere. There are much newer, better quality and lower rental living options almost anywhere else.
Management is rude and always send you letter for everything such as leaving your trash out because the people never came and picked it up or they ignore any maintain thats needed and give you the run around all day, they just want your money to get you in the door then dont care about you at all.
Stay away from this place. Horrible management staff. Poorly managed. You will be ripped off here. Stay away. You will be charged for everything. Forget to get your deposit back.Pest issues Stay away
Nice place to live but kind of expensive
Poor management and maintenance of apartments. They dont respond to any requests and always behind charging you as much as possible. If not for the view would have never stayed here. With new management it is worst. Stay away.
We got approved for an apartment here, signed a lease, and had a scheduled move in date. We had movers set up, cable, internet, the works.. even did a change of address.. A few days before our move in date, the apartment manager Sam called and said there was a “miscommunication.” They failed to tell us they approved an extended lease for the tenants that were currently in the unit. This was a big problem for us as we already made phone calls to have utilities set up and spent hours on the phone doing a change of address, etc. The leasing agents aren’t very helpful at resolving the issue and you’ll get the run around when trying to contact the manager Sam who was always out of the office. Then, when trying to request a refund of my app/admin fees, they didn’t want to give me my whole refund back. I had to fight for two months just to get my money back when it was their fault to begin with. This community is unprofessional.
Sort of shady up in these apartments, glad we dont live here and were only dropping off some stuff at the office.
Nice apartments, amazing location and view
Great place to live, no complaints here!
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!! They are SO rude and act like their in high school with the way they treat their residents. Almost every single one of the office staff has an attitude and none of them are helpful at all. I would NEVER recommend for someone to live here.
