The clicker I was given for the gate doesnt work, my dryer takes forever to dry clothes (maintenance cleaned the vent but that didnt help), the amount of rent advertised on the website is very misleading as there is a ton of extra stuff added on and I also never got a trash bin to put my trash in for the vallet trash service. For whatever reason the water and sewage is billed from the middle of one month to the next despite the fact that rent is due on the first of the month, so expect that extra charge to pop up after youve already paid rent. I have had several yellow jacket nests on my patio that Ive had to take care of myself even though I listed this on the paperwork when I moved in with the move-in checklist they ask new residents to fill out. While I cant hear my nextdoor or downstairs neighbors, the upstairs are very loud with kids running around. The apartment itself is nice after two months here Im still not convinced its worth what Im paying every month.

Sereno Park Apartments Has been my home for already going on two years, I have lived at other apartments and it does not compare to this community! From the front office staff to maintenance they are so professional and are always willing to help their residence. Chelsy in the front is office is phenomenal:) she has always helped me with any questions I have ever had on top of that she touches basis just to make sure that everything is OK and always has a smile on her face:) for sure I will continue to rent here for as long as I can do to their professionalism and outstanding customer service! If y’all are looking for an awesome community to live in this is where it’s at guys!!!

Sereno Park has been my home for almost a year and I have just renewed my lease. Best apartments for your buck in the Brooks/ Military area. Maintenance Supervisor Javier is quick, efficient and on-time. Always goes above and beyond to help. Office staff is friendly and accommodating.as well :). Jackie Property manager is always available to communicate any concerns to or questions, and always is friendly when approached. Comfortable setting, gated community, and overall excellent staff.

I was helping my friend find a new place. He is a veteran and believe it or not I was having trouble. When I called and spoke with Chelsi Castillo she not only took the time to help answer my questions but she helped relieve all my worries and anxiety. Her customer service was outstanding and her efforts in helping us was above and beyond!! I would recommend her over anyone in the world!!!

You want to talk about a fantastic maintenance team? That’s what you get here. Javier and Homero go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. They’re fast, reliable, and some of the friendliest fellows you could possibly ask for. 10/10 best maintenance guys I’ve ever had.

I have lived at other 2 other apartments before here and I feel like this is home to me for a very very long time :) if any questions or concerns of any sort I always get a hold of the manager Jackie Estrada :) she’s such a sweet and always there to help at any time. Once I have moved in the next day she had gave me a courtesy call to see how everything was going so far and at the other apartments I stayed at before I have never done that so that made me feel like she cares and cares for her job and what she does, and she is very professional too! I’m here to stay because of the management skills and caring people like her :)

Really want to say the Sereno Park complex is very inviting, the community amenities are a delight. The Grounds a very well kept and the apartments are immaculate. My experience the past three years at Sereno Park has been generally good. Management is responsive to my needs and take care of things quite swiftly. However, an area we can improve is waste management. The trash/recycle bins are too small for this community and fill up too quickly, forcing residents to leave their trash outside for animals to feast on.

I’ve lived here twice back in 2011. I got married bought a home and moved. We ended up moving back here in 2017. We absolutely love our apartment. It has all the amenities of a home. The staff at this particular location is EXCEPTIONAL! They go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. Love the community and would recommend Serno Park to anyone.

I love Sereno Park Apartments! The management staff are professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. They have a great maintenance team that takes care of the property and have good return time when a service request is needed. SERENO is a COMMUNITY and residents are treated as such. They have a good support system for the kids where events are held at the Clubhouse like the Back to School Program giving the kids backpacks filled with school supplies, back to school Pizza Party, Pancakes and Pajamas, and Fiesta Friday. Good job Sereno!

Sereno Park has been an awesome place to live for me and my family; we never had a problem with anything that Maintenance didnt come and fix in a timely manner and the front office staff has been great especially( Roy) . Roy goes over and beyond, he always has a smile on his face and hes super friendly to the tenants, and Very Professional I been here for 4 years and its been great.

Very nice apartments, great amenities. Relaxed and quiet place to live. Office management are very respectful and helpful. They were able to answer all my questions without a problem. They go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable.

We have been there a year and love it. Going to stay another year. The office staff is great, friendly and they actually care about you and complex. Roy is awesome, he was driving through the complex in shirt and tie. He stopped to help me get my vehicle started. Thank you brother. That’s why we’re staying.

Great place to come home to. Clean,lots of trees and spaces outside to sit and enjoy the weather or BBQ. Personable staff that sees to your needs in a timely fashion. Grounds kept well and any problems are fixed quickly and completely. Pool always clean and inviting. Office and clubhouse are nicely furnished and always ready for residents to use. Overall a topnotch place to call home.

Nice layouts and beautiful apartments. Staff is friendly and the maintaince service is great. Some rules in the pool area are outrageous and the dog park could use a major upgrade considering rent is expensive. Its just a 10x10 gated lot filled with trees and dirt. Overall its a beautiful complex, sometimes I would just like to take a late night swim or watch my dog enjoy the park and play not just handle business and go.

Nice and friendly staff in the office Roy is very enthusiastic and good at his job along with the manager Kari always able to answer all my question and quick responses to my maintenance requests.

This apartment complex is really nice the staff of Kari,Roy,Natasha in the front office makes this place more then just an apartment it’s HOME they do their best to make things smooth from maintenance doing a request quickly to answering any questions you may have we have been here for 2 years going on to 3 and I would not trade it for the world it’s quiet it’s clean and you really can’t beat the things they offer from the 24 hour gym to a onsite locker for safe delivery of your packages (I order a lot so I never worry about someone taking my packages) it is close to HEB Walmart and Sams CVS and a whole bunch of places to eat last but not least I know there are lots of choices when it comes to places to live but what has me most impressed is all the little things they do to make you feel like family from little gatherings to meet your neighbors and serving food to giving out backpacks and schools supplies for the kids so I say check them out and you might find yourself calling this place home.

Empty nesters here moved in thought our furniture would not fit.... king size bed in 1 bedroom apt dresser chest of drawers, night stands, and table all fit. quiet and was worried about parking but have not had an issue as of yet. either my neighbors are very quiet or not home but have no issues with it being noisy,3 MONTHS IN AND I have only one complaint, and that is the upstairs neighbor... you can hear every footstep

The apartments are very nice way better then my last apartment I lived at. The employee by the name of Rogelio Esquivel Roy is very attentive, respectful and remembers everybody by name. He makes my family and myself feel welcomed when we go to the office or when hes doing his rounds outside Roy goes above and behind to make sure the residences are satisfied. If I need something he goes out of his way to make sure I get it. We had a problem with our washer and he personally went to go check it out with the maintenance worker by the name of Eddie best maintenance worker EVER. Eddie is always there even after hours when something goes wrong he will come back to get it fixed. Kari the new manager is by far the best manager Ive seen here, I hope she dont ever leave the property. She helped me out in a big way when the floor vinyl started tarring in the living room she saved me alot of money instead of me paying for the entire bill to get it replaced she made sure I was happy with the amount I had to pay that was within my budget. I will not be looking to move from these apartments anytime in the future. Thank you Roy & Eddie & Kari.

Hardly ever answers the phone in the front office? I have been trying to get through to someone. The office says open right now, but no answer when I call.

UPDATED: I have lived here a few years and I just renewed my lease again. The best people here are the maintenance workers. They are sooo kind and always do everything they can for me. Workers here knew my name and apartment number before I could even remember their names. The office people are nice and helpful. I have never had a neighbor problem or concern. Everybody I see around here are always friendly and say hi. The only reason I did not give this place a 5 is because I wish they had a kid playground/area because there are quite a few kids here and they play on a part of the road that has a hill in the complex. The pool is nice. They have a gated dog area as well. I also wished they would put a light by the dumpster because it is very dark and scary if you take trash out. (THEY HAVE NOW FIXED THIS ISSUE, YAY) They do trash valet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. But sometimes I have trash that I need to take out then. No bug issues since I have been here. There is also a nice tree area with benches and grills so that is nice during warm weather. Inside the office there are computers and a pool table. A laundry facility on site but I have never used it because my apartment has a washer and dryer. The only thing I have not used is the gym but I do know they got some new equipment within the last year.

Awsome place nice staff and its nice and quiet and I have plenty of room only thing missing is a playground for my kids other then that its nice.

Ok, I have lived in apartments most of my life and this one by far is the best. They take care of your maintenance requests usually same day (old places anywhere from a week or more). I havent had a bug problem (most of my others had a roach problem no matter how much I cleaned or what I did). Its really quiet, but near major highways for a quick drive anywhere. They are pet friendly, have a Landry facility (though they give you some in home, so its just a backup), have a pool, pool table, and a 24/7 gym. The only thing that sucks is parking after a certain time at night (this is remidied by come home early or getting paid covered parking for 30 a month I think). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new place to live.

My husband and I have been living here since Oct 2014. Matt the previous Mgr was so great! We were super bummed when he and Maria were let go because they felt like family. I dont get that feeling with the newest staff, even though they have been very nice during the few encounters Ive had. Eddie the maintenance guy has always been awesome!! I cant say enough nice things about him. The reason why I only gave 3 stars is because recently within the past year all is hear is screaming children at all hours of the day and its highly annoying! Maybe a sign or email memo to reiterate to the residents that there are a lot of people around and to respect others would be a start. Not to mention Ive seen too many fire trucks/police activity in and out of this complex in the past 6 mos which makes me nervous and I dont feel as safe anymore.

Ill start by saying the apartments themselves are relatively okay, however under its new management, and poor quality staff it makes living in these homes a nightmare. Rent is high for its location, but whatever you pay, you can expect to pay almost 200 dollars more on unneeded, nonnegotiable luxuries such as trash pick up (which only applies at a certain time on certain days of the week otherwise you get charged a $50 fee) cable (which doesnt come with wifi, nor the box) and other unnecessary fees. The management is money-hungry and ready to add any fee or charge they can, and the staff is often incompetent and not helpful. If you enjoy wasting large sums of money on subpar apartments, then definitely go ahead and sign the lease; otherwise I would never recommend living here.

The only thing I dislike about living here is the parking - I can never find parking near my building. I normally have to park outside the security gate or on the other side of the community. Some residence in my building have 4 cars ----- I have 1 - I should be able to park near my building.

Can hear screaming children all day and all night. Theres pot heads below us we can smell smoking. To top everything off our truck has been broken into here. For the amount rent is, this place is awful. Maintanence guys are by far the best part.

When i first moved in here a couple years ago it was great! Then i renewed my lease under the new management and it has been awful. The people that have been moving in recently have bought nothing but trouble. Screaming children running up and down the stairs all day and night, cops and ambulances are here all the time, and there are TONS of stray cats and raccoons digging through garbage. And if you want to park inside the gates without having to walk around the whole complex, forget it. They do offer a guaranteed parking space under a car port...for $30 extra a month. Call me crazy but if Im already paying over $950 for a one br, i would like to park where I live FOR FREE. These apartments are verrrry pricey, but the quality is subpar. This isnt even including the random additional charges that are ridiculous. The only good thing about the staff is the maintenance guy Eddie. He is super sweet and always makes sure you are taken care of. My advice to you is to take your hard earned cash elsewhere. Id reveal who I am, but I dont want to get charged for the review! lol

BE CAREFUL of these reviews!! This place deletes their bad reviews! so you only see the better ones! thats part of the reason for 1 star..because of the dishonesty. Next, you can hear everything, through the walls even normal conversions. They will let ANYBODY with $$$ in, even if theyre ghetto. Dont get me wrong, its not like section 8, at night its fairly quiet, but the amount of ghetto-ness has increased over the years, youre always smelling the pot heads, the occassional 5am party...etc etc. management has changed quite a few times too. The head maint. guy is super awesome tho!

The complex is beautiful. The staff has changed through the years but everyone has been pretty great with a few exceptions. The pool is nice until it gets crowded. My two bedroom has been my home past three years and Iv loved it everyday because I chose to. Usually theres something that needs fixing like clogged sink fallen blinds and the like but nothing really major. I can hear my neighbors almost constantly. If i dont its cause theyre not home. Theres no point in complaining though. Iv learned to accept it as apartment life. Theres trash around some areas too due to careless residents and people putting there trash out days befor its curbside pickup. This place has a lot if potential but needs work.
