My wife and I wanted to share our amazing experience with Goettl again. We had to get a new hot water heater during our winter storm this year and had a great experience. So our AC was struck by lighting during another storm this past week. Without hesitation we called Goettl to come out to give us their honest opinion about the damage. After the first technician Kevin came out and did a very extensive diagnosis of both the inside and outside AC units we realized they would both need to be replaced due to the lighting strike. We were without AC for a few days in hot San Antonio because we were waiting for approval for the repairs from the insurance it was Goettl to the rescue. Matt and Robert our install technicians brought window units to help finally cool down my family and our pets. They did a very precise and thorough install. They explained everything they did and why they did it. They left our home nicer than when they came. My wife and I couldnt be happier and are very excited that we become VIP members so we can take advantage of their great service and professional technicians.

RALPH, was responsive, courteous and very diligent with my homes plumbing. He did a walk through to check how everything was working before he started his work. Then replaced my faucets with no issues and even manage to correct a drain pipe that was dripping onto my front door patio. He was very kind to take a quick look to help out. You just cant beat that level of detail to service. Great guy!

My Technician Ralph was very courteous, knowledgeable, and on time. He took time to inspect and test the quality of my water, test the pressure of the entire system and that is when I discovered it was too high. He offered a solution which I accepted and he graciously completed the job with true professionalism. Most companies just fix the issue and leave but not this one they go above and beyond to make sure things are done right. If you ever consider using there services remember to ask for Ralph, you will not be disappointed

Awesome service on a Sunday. I called several plumbers on Saturday and Goettl was the only provider that could provide next day service. I have never used them and was leary but Im glad I did. Excellent service at a fair price. The technician repaired my pipe and explained the issue and solution every step of the way. Topnotch service!

Kevin was very thorough, knowledgeable and detail oriented. Young lady who scheduled my service believe her name was Kay was so delightful.Prices were on the higher end but great customer service.

I called a few places to get quotes to replace one or both AC units. Roy Adame was the technician that helped me from Goettl. He was great! He showed me where my system was working well and where it was failing. I decided to go with Goettl because Roy was so transparent in his presentation of findings. He showed me the readings from the smart sensor and took a ton of pictures of my heater and ductwork. I felt like Roy also gave me the most competitive deal and really listened to me about balancing repairs, upgrades, and budget. He made the process easy and understandable. I would definitely recommend.

I could not be more impressed with the service Ive had from this company in the past week and I look forward to working with them going forward to maintain my home and systems. Starting with Connie who was great about setting us up with an appointment when our AC went out. Such a lovely woman, friendly and informative. She told me what I needed to know to sign up for the Sadie Club (if you dont know, be sure to call and ask). They call you when the included maintenance is due - no more paying for something and forgetting to use it. Then Ricardo fixed the AC issues, and was patient waiting to be able to connect about what needed to be done because I was teaching from home. Henry came in later in the week and checked my water heater and softener - told me what I needed to know and helped me plan for when the systems could go down (theyre getting old). And then today Joe came in and did the routine AC maintenance. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Going to have Goettl come out and clean our ducts this fall when we can have the AC turned off for awhile without overheating.And the company overall has some really great policies - they call you the morning of to confirm that theyre on their way and that someone is home. Then they text you and you can see real time how long before the repair person will be at your house (which was great - I was able to put the cats closed in a room before the tech got here so they werent underfoot and I didnt worry about them running out an open door). And they also send you a picture of the person coming, which is amazing from a safety perspective. I wish more companies would do that.As theyre doing their service they take a bunch of pictures to document what was wrong and how they fixed it. And then they email them all to you.

Sam was very knowledgeable and professional and very respectful him and his trainee wore a mask and knocked every time of entry and would definitely recommend Sam again!!

I give the company a lot of props for their prompt service and responsiveness. They have been very willing to work around my odd work schedule and I have no complaints about the two service calls Ive had done.My one concern and reason for a reduced rating is that each time a technician has come out for a service I have been told that there is something discovered that was not done correctly during the initial install. It does leave me mildly concerned about any potential future issues with the water softener and water heater I had installed by Goettl as well, but I guess we will find out.

Sam came out today to look at and recommend the next step in repairing my 22 year old air conditioning unit. Replacement was recommended…not what I wanted to hear but, knew it was time. Sam is a total professional, helped methrough the financing part and tomorrow we get anew unit. Sam is a great representative for your company. Thanks Sam!

Our technican George was very informative, knowledgeable and professional. He quickly discovered mold in the walls of the unit check out our ducks and showed us problem areas. George is very good at what he does. He advised us what was needed to correct the problems. We never felt pressured on any of the recommendations.Thank you George for everything! Sam was able to come over early for my membership rejuvenation today. After completing the task, he was able to come back at a more convenient time for myself and worked around my work schedule to explain what he found. He was very professional and personable. He explained everything in a manner that I was able to understand. He made recommendations and was very honest and upfront about everything that he was recommending. I’ll be using him to install my new AC unit and would recommend him to anyone.

I called Goettl because our tub was not draining and they sent out a tech pretty quickly. The tech (Josh Davis) was great, very nice, knowledgeable and didn’t mind my questions. He worked to clean the tub drain and then pulled out a camera so we could look at the plumbing system from the inside. Great experience.

Roy Adame was awesome he repaired my AC and got the house cooling after that he even took the extra time to put his smart tools on my hvac equipment to see whats causing my ac parts to fail prematurely. I requested a leak to me located, as I was previously told by another plumber that my house had a leak. Rudy Farias, the technician, checked for leaks but none was located. He offered other testing but I refuse the offer. Rudy was very patient and understanding. He showed me all the testing that he done. I will highly recommend him and his company at any time.

Needed a new shower handle cartridge. The tech was respectful upon arrival. He assessed the situation and diagnosed the issue. He did not have the part on his truck to fix the issue, but stated he would return in the morning. To my surprise he returned in an hour with the part and remained on the job until he complete the replacement. He could easily returned the next morning and not stayed on the job after, I’m sure was his quitting time, to ensure we had a working shower. Great job

Sam was extremely helpful and thoughtful throughout the entire service. He showed me what was wrong, discussed options and allowed his team to walk me through the details. He and Goettl were never pushy and really left the decisions up to me. Hands down some of the best work Ive had done.

9/16/21 - I have to commend Goettl and the military presence they have working for them. Had Emmanuel come out today to provide a quote on some cleaning needed in ducts. Professional and courteous and VETERAN. Have to admit, as a Veteran it put me a little more at ease having these fellow Veterans square my a/c unit away.Original Review - Joe from Goettl was top notch. I was scheduled for Friday and they had an opening today so I was thrilled. Eric was the technician that came out (on time) and he was so polite, professional and was able to fix my stopped up sink plus two other faucet problems.He was extremely knowledgeable about products and services that would help with our pipes. Sam was a great technician. First impressions are always good when it comes to business. Sam came to the front door with a toy dog, flashlight, and smile on his face! I opened the door with my 2 year old son and he interacted with him instantly. It was a hot day, in and out of the house but Sam came to work with a positive attitude and showed great work ethic from start to finish.

Plumber did the annual flush of my water heater. He did an excellent job. He thoroughly inspected the water heater and checked the rest of my plumbing as well. That included checking my water softener. He even did a water analysis. I never have had a plumber do that for a routine water heater flush. Very happy with the service.

I had a service call regarding a noise coming from AC unit. Steve & Juan came to do the call. Turns out it was the blower motor & so so much more. The unit was covered in mold. Steve & Juan took pictures & brought them down to show me. Every step of the way they were patient with me. They explained the issue & gave me options. In our house there is myself, daughter, son-law, three grandkids under 12. Four of these people have asthma & allergies. I decided to have Goettl install a new AC unit in my home. Steve & Juan helped me through the purchase process. The unit was installed on Tuesday. The installers were fantastic! Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, respectful and hard working. I would definitely recommend this company. Extremely satisfied!

My tech Juan came out to do a rejuvenation on a/c unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He recommended to replace capacitor and install a soft start to help the life of my unit. Was very happy with him. Was able to answer all questions in a way that I understood.

I was not looking forward to making the call for an estimate on our plumbing to our upstairs bathroom because I was nervous about what the price was going to be. Finally I made the call on a Wednesday and they worked around our schedule and were able to come that Friday evening. Eric G was our technician. He was very friendly and kind. He also spent quite a while working at our issue to get it solved. We joined the annual membership and were shocked at the cost for the service. We will definitely be a loyal customer.

We used Goettl to have our drain cleaned. The technician, Doug, was very knowledgeable and professional. We have used other companies before, and this tech impressed me by asking questions specific to our situation.He let me know what the charge would be for the sevice, and explained that there could be problems if he did the work a certain way and it didnt take care of the drain problem. He asked if we were interested in their Sadie plan,which seems like a good maintenance plan. I never felt like I was being pressured to buy anything. He asked about our water heater, and I took him to see it. He discovered that there was a problem with the vent not being in the correct position... he set it correctly. There were no extra charges.....only the $80.00 special they had advertised.We are very pleased with Goettland Doug, their technician..

FRANK and Billy were great. I explained what was happening and Frank was able to find the issue right away. He and Billy were able to quickly fixthe problem and I now have water again. Great guys and great service. And my dogs liked them. (Sorry about the name. Frank was very nice when he asked me to fix it.)

We called Goettl about our AC needing a tune up, because it would not cool down in afternoons. Goettl sent out 2 men for the job who liked our dogs, we’re on time, gave us a flashlight and a Goettl dog (hire them so you can hear the story), and fixed our AC! We joined their $22 monthly for 2 ac’s up and downstairs club with tons of free stuff including today’s visit! We no longer have to worry about who to call when AC or hot water heater or something is clogged we will call Goettl.. sounds like kettle with a “G”. Thank you so much Goettl!

My consult with Goettl was phenomenal. I just moved into my home and noticed some cool air coming from my attic. I wanted to give a positive review on a HVAC Tech that came out to my house for system maintenance. His name was David Duarte. He was the best service repairman I have ever had. He was polite, courteous and he was all about attention to detail. I can not say enough about his work discipline. He repaired and cleaned up everything as though he was never there. Usually when people come and service my house, I have to clean up after them which is why I hate repair people in my house. But David was the best I have ever seen. This is coming from a 21 year retired U.S. Army Veteran, so I know exceptional service.

I called late on Friday and they responded right away came by and went over everything we would need Ryan was great very helpful and totally gave us the best options around we already knew buying the house these things needed to be done so they were very trustworthy. Great response time on a Saturday and only a 3 hour window to get to my home. They did it under that time and again on a Saturday. Service was perfect and the tech kept me informed on the service. Ricardo came out to fix my AC unit. Before he came the company texted me his photo so I knew who was coming. Such a great safety idea, simple but thoughtful and effective. He was clear about what was wrong, what it would cost, and also gave me advice on filters when I asked. I was teaching from home and he was super quiet and waited patiently until I was at a point where I could pause to sign off on various repairs.

I came home after a long vacation to no AC this past week! Both units were down, one that Goettl had installed and the other I had been limping along. It was Sunday, and even though they couldn’t get there that day, they were there first thing Monday morning. Jake was great about going through all the details on both units and getting them both up a running. He was very professional and I appreciated his promptness.

The gentleman that showed up at my home we’re not only neat and clean but very professional. They also had a personal side to them as they explained in layman terms what work needed to be done. Both had a great sense of humor and could tell they enjoy what they do. In today’s world customer service does not exist anymore, sad but true. No the reason I have not moved forward yet as I need to come up with the money in order to do the repair correctly. I would highly recommend this company hands-down!! Sincere thanks to both Steven and Kevin for a renewing my faith in customer service. They also did not charge me to come out and give me a quote! Wow, right back to customer service with a family run business!

Ryan B.(plumber) was articulate and professional. He inspected both water heaters. He found one expansion tank needed replacement, a cold water valve needed replacement, and another valve was needed by both water heaters to bring them up to current code.The work was completed on the spot and rechecked multiple times prior to leaving the house.Cost was reasonable and the workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend them to family and friends. Lastly, I would call them again for any HVAC or plumbing needs.

Goettl was an absolute life saver! My ac was leaking water all over my floors due to a clogged drain. I had no idea how to fix the problem and in this south Texas heat I cannot live without my AC. Roy Adame came out to our house the day we reached out. He took measurements and helped us to choose the best AC unit for our home. Tech was nice and polite. But pretty much just wasted time and 50 dollars for them to come out and quote me a ridiculous price, which when I setup the appointment and explained that I was looking for a more honest price then what I had been quoted from another company I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem because the other company was asking way too much for the labor. But big surprise they actually tryed to charge me more then the other company. So a waste of 50 dollars to have someone look at the unit for 5 minutes and not actually need to do anything because the other company had left for details on the problem. Checking was checked. Just time sitting around waiting for the manager to get back with a ridiculous quote.

Joe benavides seemed to be more technically qualified than the previous technitions. He not only checked what had been done but the reports written about it but he also seem to be more knowleable about the system and diagnosing anddiagnosing the problem. He invalable asseset to gettle plumbing.

My original review below has been reduced to 1 star. They have installed 2 entirely new AC units and both have failed. Will update again if resolved but currently could not recommend this business just out of inability to deliver a working product . Shop elsewhere .Very polite people, just doesn’t matter much since the job has yet to be done correctly over the span of 2 weeks in the texas heat.Roy Adame came out roughly 30m within of my call, finished a complete work up and diagnosis upon arrival + had multiple options for repair and replacement to get our HVAC functioning again. Ours was venting CO2 into our attic and leaking water, not to mention barely cooling the house . He and his team were able to get a new unit of our choice over and installed same day, being very respectful and professional throughout the process .Even the dogs loved em. 10/10 would hire again without question.

I’ve had the preventative maintenance program with Goettl for over 2 years and they have been great. Joe came by to check my A/C today and his Customer service was amazing! He was a very friendly, polite and very knowledgeable.

Woke up Sunday morning to head to work and noticed water flowing across my side walk. I opened the water meter and found it was filled with water. I called three different plumbing companies and Goettl was the only one to reach back out to me. Ralph arrived right when he said he would and quickly diagnosed the problem. He then took the time to go over the options with me and I ended up signing up for their Sadie guard program which I look forward to benefitting from. He replaced my PRV valve very quickly and then checked everything out. The price was very reasonable and service was outstanding. I dont have the proper words to communicate how satisfied and grateful I am. He told me while he was making the repair how they meet every morning and go over their service quality standard and stress the importance of doing the right thing and this really came through to me. I highly recommend them for anyone needing repairs. Thank you Ralph for your excellent service.

Ralph was here 8/6/2021. He was called to unclog my kitchen sink. He was on time. He was nice and polite. His knowledge of the problem and how to solve it was outstanding. He left the area as he found it. Clean and uncluttered. My sink is unclogged.
