Got a call back even though it was after hours and got a tech (Matthew) at my door within the hour. He diagnosed and came back the next day to finish the job and went above and beyond. Super knowledgeable, prompt, and stayed until the job was done. Would highly recommend.

This company is awesome! I called them for a quote, they came by and honored there price even after there was more to be fixed. I really appreciated what they did. I would definitely use them again in the future. My Air Conditioning is working great blowing super cold air during this hot summer.

Came home to ac at 89 degrees and climbing. Called and ac tech at my home in one hour. Diagnosed the problem and had the parts to fix it on his truck. One hour later ac fixed. My wife called on a Sunday night, and we had a tech over within the next couple hours. With the intense TX heat, we caught a break after calling a few 24 hr AC companies who couldnt see us until the following afternoon. With a 3 and 7 y/o in the household as well, delaying the repair just was not an option. Tech was quick, friendly and has this family enjoying the cool air once more! Thank you!

I normally dont write reviews but this company deserves it. We called All Star Heating and AC to fix our Air conditioning unit today and they were great. I called several companies and they were the most courteous which made me want to use them. They were at the door when they said they would be there and got the AC unit running again quickly. The price wasnt bad, seemed about the same as all the rest of the quotes. Overall great experience and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Horrible customer service! Made two appointments and they didn’t show up nor did they even bother to call! TWICE! And we made appointments through the owner, Lonnie. We never got services that were promised to us that are clearly written on our service contract! We have taken our business elsewhere to a more professional company- they actually showed up! Don’t waste your time or hard earned money with all star.

Ours was not a simple AC install at all! The AC in our home had been freezing up and flooding our duct work with excessive condensation. It was an old system and the duct work was too close to the wall to be properly insulated. The crawl space was too tight to offer a lot of options. AllStar took the job on with a very competitive quote. Their sales person was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I did not feel pressured to choose them; their description of what they would do to repair our ac unit just made the most sense. There were some challenges after the install. AllStar returned and helped us troubleshoot and identify options to resolve them. They stood by their product, promise of quality workmanship and us, their customer. We are very happy with our new ac system and with our new ac company!

Yesterday my husband and I came home to house that was 95 degrees. No cold air was coming out of the vents. We called All Star and had a wonderful guy come out and fixed our AC in minutes. One flat rate fee and that was it. We are so happy and glad to wake up this morning to a cold house. Thank you so much All Star for the prompt service!!!!

Best Air Conditioning Contractors in all of San Antonio! We called All Star out on one of the hottest days in summer when our A/C wasnt working. We thought for sure we were calling for an air conditioning installation of a new unit but Lonny came out and did an expert air conditioning repair which saved us a lot of money! Other companies would have given us a hard sell and tried to turn our predicament into a new air conditioning sales deal but All Star were honest, helpful and informative. Thanks guys, when the time does come for a new AC unit, we will call you for sure!I just wanted to update this review - we just called them out for a ac service check and they did a thorough overhaul of the whole system. All Star maintained my aging AC unit for 4 years until it broke down, then replaced with a new system. Theyre an honest, hard-working local company. The repair charges always seemed reasonable. In other words, never felt they added extra items to bring up the bill. They responded quickly. Repairs were made within 24 hours. When I needed a new system All Star they were extremely helpful with information, and diligent in efforts to find a system to meet my house and budget needs. Finally, they pulled out all the stops to install the new system with one days notice, as I had to leave town for emergency family care.I cant say enough about All Stars integrity, work ethic, knowledge and skill.

Excellent residential heating and a/c company. We called AllStar to do the heating installation of our new heat pump replacement. We were hoping we could get away with just a heat pump repair but we were kidding ourselves - our unit was really old and not in good shape. Lonny worked with us on the best new heating unit for our families needs and we couldnt be more pleased. Everything is working great and the staff at All Star are fantastic - they always answer their phones and are very helpful. As soon as the weather starts heating up again we are going to call them for service on our ac unit as well. And weve already recommended them to some of our neighbors, particular one that was looking for a professional commercial heating repair service. 5 Gold Stars for keeping us cool in the summer and warm in the winter. AllStar Heating & Air Conditioning just came out as per our scheduled air conditioning maintenance agreement. Everything was in order and we really appreciate this company for their diligence in all of our ac repairs and service when needed. Last summer, All Star helped advise us as to the best air conditioning unit for us and they processed our new air conditioning sale without any stress. The ac installation went through without any hiccups and we just feel really thankful for this hvac company!

On 7/12/2012, work was performed on my A/C unit, and the employee recommended to me that i purchase a UVbulb for it to keep mold from growing inside, and said it would cost $430. After trying to sell me on it, when i said i would need to do some research, he said it would include a free 1 yr service maintenance agreement and a years worth (12) of filters free if i made the decision right then to go ahead with it. I agreed to have him perform the work then. Since then, i still have NOT received the filters, no maintenance has been done on it (fall 2012/spring 2013), and when i talked to the owner (Lonny) last fall (around Oct/Nov 2012), he informed me that his contractor was no longer working for him, but that he would honor his commitment to me. He told me to work with Holly (office manager/receptionist?) to get it scheduled and completed. Since then, i have been unable to reach anyone (Holly is gone also), the phone rings and then goes to VM... i leave VMs but dont get a call back. I would not recommend them to anyone after all the hassle ive received and work promised but not delivered.Update from May 13: I was able to reach Lonny (owner) through text message finally, and he agreed to make things right that were in our agreement w/his sales rep. However, he then claimed the filters were on backorder and would take a week to get. A week later, i texted him and he said he checked and it would be another 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, i texted him and he said were looking over a month now for these. I just gave up. I would not recommend this company for your AC needs... go w/Champion AC or JonWayne!Update #2 (Sept 13): The UV bulb is out already! And its $125 to buy a new one.Heres the kicker: Allstar AC has a black BBB accreditation logo on their website (shouldnt it be blue? that caught my eye), so I went to the BBB website and looked them up. They have a F rating. I wish i had done my research before calling them.
