Came here to get a custom wedding band. We brought in a very complicated custom design and they did an incredible job. Super friendly going through all the options and the process, had the ring finished sooner than expected, and did it for less than any of the other Sugarhouse jewelers we talked to. King is a/the master. I brought in some old family jewelry that wasn’t in great shape and he helped me create a masterpiece from it. He was honest with his opinion of what would create a timeless heirloom piece but did not pressure us into anything. Bringing in pictures helps the process as well!

My sister in law had had King’s customize her wedding ring for her and she was very happy with their work. I had an anklet I bought in Australia that had been broken for 4 years and I finally brought it in to King’s to get it fixed. I dropped it off on a Saturday and it was ready the following Monday. I don’t know the owners name but he was so nice and accommodating. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely come back for other jewelry needs I have. I would highly recommend getting any work done by King’s.

I had the best experience with King! I went in to browse and not exactly sure what I wanted. King took his time with me and made some amazing stud earrings and screw backs. Turn around was quick and he remembered who I was when I came in to pick them up the next day! I’d recommend his store any day.

I explained it to King and he built a wax model for us. It was exactly what I had envisioned. Once we decided to finalize our decision, King had the wax casted in gold with and set the diamonds we wanted and had my dream ring ready for us in a timely manner, all with a very reasonable price. The entire experience was effortless. He truly took the time to get to know us, while providing us with exactly what we wanted. Since then, King has been my go-to jeweler. He maintains and cleans my ring any time I stop in for free! I have also taken several watches in to get fixed and have batteries changed. He is very open in the creative process and had no trouble incorporating my future mother-in-laws original engagement baguettes into a custom engagement ring. Such a fantastic experience! I took two rings in that were damaged and needed re-sized (not originally purchased here). The gentleman that helped me was very friendly. He had the rings ready in a matter of days, and they looked brand new. One of the best customer experiences Ive had in quite some time. I really cant say enough good things about them.

Before I ever bought any real jewelry here I would take my watch and to get the van fixed or get a replacement battery. He never even charged me to fix the band and only charged me I think $10 for the battery. Always treated me like an important customer even when I really hadnt spent a cent in there. This is why I went there for my engagement ring my ring and several other nice pieces Ive bought in the last few years. He Treats you the same whether youre buying $100 piece or spending 5000. Such a great store

My husband went in and worked 1 on 1 with King and designed my new wedding band. It is an original and none will ever have another like it. King made sure everything we wanted fit into our budget.

I brought in a watch for simple take this piece out $20. They didnt know how to open the watch, in the process damaged a $700 watch ripping the band and bending my buttons damaging the movement. I had barely bought the watch that day and they broke it that day, it was in mint condition. They tried to replace watch with a watch that was used and had water damage. I told them it was unacceptable and to work with me, they pretended to work with me for 5 months then told me to sue them. I will gladly sue them and make sure I tell everyone about their customer service and work they do-dont trust these guys, go to more credible jewelers for repair.

Awful crooks. Took in a 25,000 ring and met a guy there to buy it. The owner lied and said my ring was brown in color so Id sell it cheaper to the guy. Ive had it to other jewelers and it appraised for almost 25,000. The idiot owner said it wasnt worth more than 3,500. Stay away from these crooks. Nasty business in the ghetto.

I brought my brand spanking new engagement ring in to be resized. My fiance totally surprised me, and guessed that my finger size was much smaller than it actually is. On a recommendation, I took it to Kings to be resized. The owner took my ring size as an 8 and resized my ring. When I got it back, there was a very rough cut where he added metal at the bottom of the ring that was barely buffed out. Mind you, this ring was 100% pristine, never worn when I brought it in, so this looked particularly heinous.Also, the ring was way too big. The rings he uses to size you are very rough and beat up, so it takes more effort to slide on and off a finger than a smooth ring. The worst part of all this is that my diamond setting became loose. The jeweler never mentioned that the setting might come loose when expanding the ring so much (2 sizes). After much ado, we had the setting fixed (not by this guy), but the ring remains too large. I strongly do not recommend.

I had two watches that were not running, a Rado and a Michelle- both had stopped. Initially, I thought that the Michelle needed a battery replacement but that did not seem to be the problem because, with a new battery, it worked for a short while and stopped again. I took it to Kings Custom Jewelers and was told that the watch needed replacement of the mother board and would cost me $100. They told me that the Rado watch needed to be cleaned and would run me $175. I chose to take the watches with me to Southern California for a second opinion.The new place had both watches running within 15 minutes. They cleaned the contacts on the michelle watch and changed the battery. They told me that my Rado just needed a battery replacement. The cost to me for both watches was $15. Both are working fine.I found Kings Custom Jewelers to be dishonest and I would never go back there again.
