Ive driven past this place for years and didnt really get it. When I needed a wedding ring, I found them online and thought Id just stop in. Im so glad I did. This is an old-school, family-run, we make them ourselves jewelers. They dont work on commission, arent interested in upselling you. I was worried about being in a high pressure situation. But Mike was laid back, extremely informative, wonderful to chat with about what we wanted. This is the kind of business we want to support and keep coming back to. OH! And I got the most beautiful ring! They are really proud of the jewelry they create there and are wonderful people to work with. HIGHLY recommend!!

I had a terrific experience at this store. I originally set up an appointment (which was very easy and recommended) and went in with my now fiancée just looking to get her finger sized and see what type of styles the store had and to get an idea for whats out there. As a couple in our 20s this was all very new to us! Mike the store owner and his wife greeted us and you couldnt ask for a nicer couple. In short we ended up ordering a custom made ring that day. There was no pushy sales tactics or overselling, we mentioned what we were looking for and what our price range was and ended up with a fantastic ring (all at our own speed and on our own decision). Fun fact they can customize a band in almost any way you could think of. OK, so this review is way too late, but I was just admiring my Rolex Yacht-Master II again and felt compelled to share the awesome buying experience I had with not only this piece, but also my wifes diamond engagement ring.AND - my transaction was completed 100% remotely.So it was time to propose and a I had an idea of the type of engagement ring I wanted to purchase for my future bride. In addition, I had been looking at getting myself a Rolex. A friend recommended calling AAA Jewelers and I made the call. I spoke with Angelo, emailed him an image of the type of ring setting, what my budget was and how perfect/imperfect of a diamond I wanted. I also asked about Rolexs and Angelo had what I was looking for. Both items he described were within my budget and the next step was to take a look.In less than a week, a package was at my door with a 1 carat diamond solitaire ring and Rolex Yacht-Master II. I have been using AAA Jewelers for over 26 years when I bought my wife’s promise ring, then I bought my wife’s wedding ring from AAA Jewelers. I have referred my friends and family to AAA. Now, Mike helps my sons and their friends. Mike is so great to work with and he makes sure you get the best Diamonds and Rolex’s. I went in to have a ring cleaned and adjusted. He brought me in, spent time with me going over options, and then told me he would do the cleaning for free. It looked great. He wanted me to be a customer in the future more than get every penny out of me possible.I will be buying my next pieces from there, or at least make it among my first stops. My husband picked out the design of my ring and AAA Jewelers took the example picture and custom made the ring and it turned out beautifully! We returned to get the wedding band there and they took my engagement ring for a couple of weeks so they could match the band to it in style and shape! Im very impressed and they gave us an incredible deal! They are super good to work with and got the rings to us by the time we needed them (it was a bit too close to when we needed it for comfort, but when they turned out so good, we were just glad to have them!)

I walked in with no knowledge of even the basics of ring buying. I wanted to get an engagement ring on a limited budget and didnt know where to start. Lisa was kind and patient with me. She showed me the different styles and how we could add bands over time. She asked me about my fiancé and helped me pick some options that would best suit her.I thought about it for a week and came back thirty minutes before closing. Even though it was just a modest purchase, Mike checked me out himself. He was friendly and genuine. He told me that if any adjustments need to be made or anything happens to the stone, they will take care of it. 100% satisfied with AAAs service and product.

Mike is the best. After checking out a couple of other places I was referred to AAA. Mike got me a much better quality diamond at a much lower price. A lot of other places will claim they the cheapest/best because they are direct or wholesale but based on my research he was the only one that actually delivered. I could not recommend them enough!!

Awesome shop! Staff has always been friendly and courteous every time I’ve been in there. They do a customer appreciation day where they have food brought in for the customers that visit that day. Shop has always been nice and clean each time I’ve been in. Only downside is that if you do pawn something there they don’t have the option to pay down on the loan. Otherwise it’s great! Pricing to buy or sell is reasonable and they do their research and are honest.

BUYER BEWARE: Awful and regrettable experience with Mike and staff. My boyfriend and I visited this store to start getting an idea of what we liked for engagement rings. This was the very first place we had visited in the SLC area. There were not many selections as far as larger carat sizes (understandably so) but Mike let us know that he would be able to get some larger diamonds into the store for us to look at. He let us know that in order to do so, he would charge us $250 to cover shipping/insuring those 2 or 3 diamonds. We were fine with that after it was made EXTREMELY CLEAR that if we did not decide to go through with a purchase from him, that the amount would be refunded, or, applied to another purchase in his store. After the diamonds arrived, we went to try them on. We were not impressed with the quality of the stones and decided to not go through with any purchases from him, as we still wanted to look around. Again, this was the first place we went to look for an engagement ring. When it came time to inquire about the refund, we could not get an answer from Mike. We made several calls and sent emails over a THREE week period and the man never had the decency to return our call. Every time a call was made, a woman at the store (his extremely rude gatekeeper) kept telling us Mike was either out to lunch or not in the store that day. There was always an excuse as to where he was. They were all lies. After about the fifth call (all documented because we soon realized we may have to take legal action) demanding a response and after her telling me he wasnt available, he miraculously starts talking on speaker. What ensued next was shocking. I have never heard someone so incredibly belligerent and angry. Mike was L-I-V-I-D that we were asking about our refund.. telling us it cost him that much money to have the diamonds shipped and we were not owed anything. He completely went against his word. We were shocked. Why would we just give a business $250 of our money knowing we were just starting to look around?? We understood that yes, there would be shipping involved.. perhaps $50 or so but we had his WORD that the money would be refundable, or a portion thereof. As his anger escalated on the phone, with him YELLING at us, he then decided he would give us half the money back- $125, just so we would get off his back I assumed. At this point we said fine- we just wanted to recoup any money at this point and get far away from this man and his business. We hung up and could not believe what had just happened. It was disgusting someone could act this way to us. In the end we decided it would be in our best interest to never step foot into this store and forfeit all money- $125 wasnt worth his wrath. We were honestly scared of what he might do and truly thought we would feel unsafe in his presence. *I would like to add that several months had gone by before we had inquired about our refund, so we did understand why he was questioning the refund after a few months had in fact gone by. However, due to COVID and a family illness it just wasnt our priority at the time. Please do yourself a favor- really research this place (if you look hard enough, youll find the negative reviews). Do not let this man paint a pretty, rosy picture for you- if you decide to not do business with him, it wont be pretty at all. This is a pawn shop. It is not BBB accredited. Do not waste your time doing business with someone who is so rude, aggressive, unprofessional and unethical. There are MANY fine jewelers around town.. and just as many who are aware of Mike and his business practices. Wish we had known.

I know nothing about Jewelry, I went to AAA Jewlers and spoke with Michael, I explained to him what my girlfriend liked, he showed me a number of engagement rings that fit the profile. He was knowledgeable and extremely professional. I purchased a beautiful ring and now my girlfriend is my fiance! The happiness on her face when she saw the ring will forever be embedded in my memory. I will absolutely return for all my Jewelry and watch needs.

My fiancé got a custom ring from here, it is absolutely breathtaking; they truly know how to make a girl say yes! We later went back to get it resized and cleaned, Mike was so friendly and attentive. He even gave my fiancé a free silver necklace for a pendant he has. Mike knows how to treat returning customers that’s why this is always our go to place for any jewelry!

Excellent experience. I was referred to these folks from a colleague. I brought in my wedding ring and a diamond earring from my wife. Both of these items are from the 1940s and were our grandparents. My ring needed the band fixed where it gets sized, and I had intended to make a simple necklace and setting for the diamond. I was nervous just handing them a small envelope with the items in them and nothing in return but a handshake and hopes that they would be able to get the necklace done in time for Valentines as I had shown up the week before.It was ready in less than a week, just in time for Valentines Day and both the ring and the necklace looked amazing!! I was very impressed on the pricing as well. Worth every dollar I spent in my opinion. The ring likely looked like the day my grandpa first had it made. Its hard to trust people these days, especially with thousands of dollars in jewelry. This is a legit company and I highly recommend them with your valuables. We will definitely be in again!! Awful experience with Mike and his son Michael. Brought in a watch and was called a few days later by Michael saying it would be done in a few days. Days pass and I hear nothing, I call and speak to Mike who has no idea what I’m talking about. He eventually says they need until Friday. Friday comes and Mike calls saying he needs a specific part for it he can’t find and needs until Monday. He was aggressive and rude even on the phone. Monday comes and he calls and says something along the lines of “I’m having trouble with setting the balance, it’s on my work bench and will be done by Friday.” Friday comes and I go in in person wanting the watch back. He tries to tell me it will be done Monday(no joke) and I say no. He forcefully says he doesn’t have the watch here and I have to come back at 5 to get it. I come back at 5 and deal with his son Michael, who is extremely rude to me. When he throws the watch on the counter (as if I’m in the wrong) I realize it’s in the same Manila paper bag and the bag was never opened. Mike lied about all the parts he was getting and work he head doing, he never even looked at the watch. Never once did they apologize. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen, and I frequent every jewelry store and pawn shop in this valley and the next.

A couple months ago I was looking to get a center stone reset and made into a new ring and design with adding smaller diamonds to it as well. I shopped around to several other jewelers and settled on AAA Jewelers. They did an AMAZING job with my ring in such a short time and they were the cheapest by far!!!! Great quality, top notch diamonds were added to the ring, and they have fabulous customer service. I could not have been more happy with the process and the final product. I get compliments on my ring all the time and I absolutely love it!! I have a few other stones I want made into other rings and will undoubtedly use them again. Mike and his family and team are excellent. I was able to go in and get an education in diamonds and not feel pressured to walk out with anything. Having said that, I did end up going back to get a gorgeous engagement ring and wedding band set for a killer deal. I recently proposed with a gorgeous ring had designed and built by AAA Jewelers. The ring has a large, Gemological Institute certified center chocolate diamond with many other smaller chocolate and white diamonds in a rose gold setting. It’s beautiful.
