Last night I was threatened with a gun by my neighbor. She has an adult son behaving aggressive and he is not on the lease. Tried to address it with manager Vanessa 3 times and nothing got done. Another neighbor came over and pulled the gun out. The woman living across from me said she will beat me up outside. Police came out, said to call them again and now this case is going to court due to negligence and threat for life and safety. I thought this is 55+ apartments and it’s really unfortunate they allow adult guests to stay and don’t check criminal and drug background.

Back with the incompetency of the Apartments and the leadership. The review response that was posted from The Owner on my last review is not the owner! It is a direct line to the very person who is the problem. Vanessa again is not a nice person, she has or doesnt care about who pays the rent which gives her a job! Dont respond with a fraudulent number and post under owner and pretend you care or want to solve the solution, when that is not even close to your intention. One year cant come fast enough to get a way from a nasty hatful person who should not be employed here! If Im going to talk to anybody it would be to the ownership of the apartments, I would love to pass on several other peoples names and apartment numbers of my fellow renters who feeI that Venessa is unfair, mean and not a very nice person in general. Enough said! Renters beware!!!! Stay away far far away! Ownership Fire the woman who is dragging down the quality of what once was a nice place to call home for a moment.

Vanessa the manager is terrible to work with. She will not work with you or hold up agreements that were made before she was employed, she is a terrible Representative of the apartments .If the owners were smart they would fire Vanessa immediately and replace her with somebody who understands customer service.

This place is smoker’s haven smoke drifting in and out, if you don’t like smoking please don’t move here. Furthermore it’s expensive to live here, outrageous utilities fees (I’m talking about $250 extra on top your rent). Manager doesn’t care about enforcing Covid-19 mask rules in public spaces which is negligent. Small inside, not super clean either and place has old appliances. Probably will not renew my lease. 1 star experience.

Ive lived in many different apartment complexes over the years, but Lakeside Village is hands down THE best! The common areas are very well maintained and any maintenance items are taken care of immediately. The office staff is so sweet and always has freshly baked cookies in the office. As for the apartments themselves, theyre updated and kept in great condition. Everything looked new when I moved in. Oh, one of the best things is that other tenants are so nice! Everyone says hi and waves. I love it. I dont ever want to move again!

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐or more! for Howard, our new maintenance manager! My pilot light went out Saturday and I was hesitant to call due to past issues with maintenance. Thought I could get through until Monday but the temp droppedtoo low. I couldnt handle itso I gave in and called the after hours number on Sunday. Howard answered quickly (versus NO answer with previous maintenance), said that he would be right out. He was, with a smile and a great attitude, as all employees working with the public should be! He lit the pilot light, stayed a bit to make sure it was working and left with a gracious manner. Thank you Howard and THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE POOL CLEAN AND WARM!! Thats the way we old folks like it! Kudos to you! Keep up the great work! And thank you again!

This Retirement Complex in no way gas gone downhill. It only improves each and every day. If you are looking for a peaceful place to live look no further. The Management here are so very kind caring and extremely professional. The grounds are very well maintained. If ever you have a problem at your unit just call the office and it will be handled promptly.Great residents here are a direct result because of Jennifer,Amber,&Bill & his maintenance staff. So I say thank you guys for being nothing less than the absolute Best. 5* complex.

I enjoyed my residency at Lakeside Village apartments - excellent location- beautiful landscaping- apartments are very spacious and clean with laundry hook up inside the apartment or opt to use Lakeside laundry facilities - the recreation room is huge with a kitchen - swimming pool area is very nice and management is awesome

Prices have increased so fast and do much that some residents have had to move out. Nice apartments for 55 and older.

Have lived here 6 mos and am very please with the peaceful, friendly and safe atmosphere. Also, the staff is exceptional.

Lived here for the past 3 months and its been one of the better apartments Ive lived in.

We specifically picked out this place for my mom because of the duck pond and the pool. Before management changed it was great. Now she just received a notice that no one under 25 is allowed in the pool after 6pm. There are 18 year olds that rent here and people with children. If they dont comply with this rule they are fined $75!!! AND the pond was so filthy that my mother became sick because of her compromised immune system. I am SO DISAPPOINTED at how downhill this place has gone. Do not rent here. The staff has become rude and uncaring and the mainance does not do their job...and they use the word funnest on their flyer. Thats not a word.

Ive lived in LV for almost 2 years. The experience has been mostly good. My experience is that staff and maintenance respond quickly, are polite, and efficient. Ive never had to wait more than 48 hours to get maintenance in to fix something. The apartment is well maintained and attractive with decent (if not top of the line) appliances. I notice they are advertising the 2 bedroom with 2 baths but there is only one large bath. The complaints about the duck pond are unfounded. Theyve emptied, cleaned, and refilled it 3 times in the time Ive been here. They do it at the beginning and end of the warm season. The baby ducks every spring are delightful and entertaining. With a few exceptions, the neighbors are friendly and not bothersome. Now for the negatives. I dont know if they are allowed to live here but I often hear loud children playing all day. One of the reasons I choose to live in this type of complex is so I dont have to deal with a pool and grounds so full of other peoples annoying kids that you cant use anything. Management makes a twice-yearly trek into all apartments to replace smoke detector batteries and furnace filters. Problem - they do it on their schedule and its mandatory. They just tell you a few days in advance and show up. This may not seem unreasonable to some, but they dont give you a choice. My sleep hours are odd but they wont adjust the schedule to come into my apartment during a time when they wont be disturbing me. Ive never had any other apartment complex do this. For some reason, this complex seems to be the target of mail thieves. Several packages have gone missing during my time here. Like, I received the key to the extra box, opened the box, and found it empty. One night late we stopped to pick up our mail and a man was lurking behind the boxes, on the side the carrier uses. We watched him move along the row of boxes and mess with every single one, unbothered by our presence. The only conclusion we can draw is that this guy and/or others are accessing the mailbox banks from the carrier side and removing packages. We reported him but never heard anything further. Finally, sometimes people do get nosey and things get out of hand. In our first few months here we were repeatedly contacted by management about smoking in our apartment. We dont smoke or use anything that smells like smoke. But apparently multiple residents were calling the office more than once to accuse us of smoking, which is not even allowed outside on the property. We invited management to come in and smell for themselves, but they declined. Yet they kept threatening to evict us for breaking the no smoking rule. This went on for a while and we had no idea of the source, but then our downstairs neighbor brought it up very rudely. We found out that she was making the accusations and inciting others to call the office. We dont know if she actually thought we were smoking or just wanted rid of us. Her behavior is often publicly erratic. We had not even met this woman but for some reason she hated us enough to try to get us evicted with lies. We werent tap dancing, bowling, and moving furniture every day either (the way some upstairs neighbors sound). We are very quiet, so quiet that we can tell what they are watching on TV because of how loud it is. We reported her behavior to the office and the eviction threats stopped. Other than this jerk, none of our neighbors have been intrusive or rude. They are friendly, say hello, and otherwise keep their distance.

Lakeside village apartments is not an adult community or not extra quiet like it states in the brochures, and advertisements. They allow grandchildren all week long. (Overnight stays included ) and if they are disruptive and noisy, they ignore the problem if you report it. They also do not stand by their rules or lease agreements. This is a poor example of an adult community which is supposed to be a quiet place to live .

They quote you one price. After you pay your deposit they raise the price by a hundred or so dollars. It is a quiet place but they are crooks. Management company is emg.

Dont rent from here. they have a non-refundable pet deposit but they dont explain that when you need to use this deposit it doesnt apply to anything. they play a word play and call it a pet fee. what are you paying this for it doesnt apply to anything when you move out. they charge for everything. painting the walls, cleaning, carpet. nickel and dime you. when you live there you are harassed and bullied by the tenants they are nosey and dont mind their own business. maintenance took 3 months to fix my dishwasher because they cant keep maintenance workers. I put in a service request to fix my refrigerator in April because it leaks water from the Freezer. I moved out in July and they still havent fixed it. dont fall for the pet fee. it doesnt apply to repairs or damages it doesnt apply to anything scam. also they are AMC properties before you rent from them read their reviews.

Management, the facilities and even the owner are all fantastic.
