Overall, great service at a great price. Representative was extremely friendly. The tile cleaning (before/after photos included) wasnt as great as I thought it would be, but the grout is noticeably cleaner after the treatment. There were a couple of spots on the carpet that either werent cleaned, or something was left from the treatment, but Im still satisfied and I will call them again the next time I need professional carpet or tile cleaning done at my home.

Really thought these guys would have done a better job. They received high ratings, maybe I expect to much like a clean carpet and getting dirt spots out. My carpet was just put in 6 months ago so not really that bad...anyway just my point of view :)

Do not use COIT SLC, they do not abide by their guarantees. I used COIT SLC to clean my drapes because they guaranteed no shrinkage on their website. They cleaned my drapes and they came back 3-4 inches shorter. I was thinking, “no worries, there is a guarantee” and kindly called, emailed, and wrote a letter and included pics of the shrunken drapes as well as evidence of their guarantee. COIT HAS DONE NOTHING. They have ignored me and they have ignored their promise to their customers. I had always had great experiences with COIT outside of Salt Lake but I will never use this COIT location again. I wish I could give 0 stars but I have to give them 1 in order to post.

If youre not happy with their service, they ignore you. Not even sure if the guy did ANYTHING and they take your money. Ill never use or recommend this company.

My carpets were cleaned beyond the degree I thought possible. Even when some areas looked impossible more attempts were tried until it was clean. I am so pleased. My professional was so nice and so willing to do his best.

I left 5 roman shades to be cleaned. When I went to pick them up I was told one cord was broken and they refunded me some of the money. When I got home I found out 2 more were broken and smelled so bad of mildew I had to take them to cleaned at another place. Coit would not respond or refund my money. They werent responsible and it was very poor service not even 1 star

Dont use this group. Terrible work. The service guy who cleaned my air vents and furnace didnt put the furnace exhaust pipe back together correctly and didnt reconnect the wires to the thermostat correctly. I had to call Questar Gas to come out and check the furnace. Glad I have before and after photos.

We are so happy with the service we received from COIT! They were fast and effect! They did exactly what we needed when we needed it! They are budget friendly and made sure to take their time and do the job right! We will definitely use them every time we need to clean our ducts. And they do clean stage drapes as well so we will definitely call them for that service as well!

Ive been told for 4 days now that Ill be getting a call back from the owner, apparently theyre too busy at their 2nd job to reach out to me about my issue. Ive never felt more disrespected as a customer.

My technician was extremely thorough and made sure I was happy with his cleaning before leaving. He said it took him longer than planed because the furnace was so full of drywall dust. Although he did not get paid more he spent all the time needed to complete the job. Great job COIT!!!!

I have been using COIT for my carpets, drapes and furniture for years! They have always done a wonderful job. I recently had them out to clean my carpets. I had been putting it off for some time because of the work involved in moving everything out of the rooms I wanted cleaned, and then the process of moving everything back into the now clean rooms. Of course, COIT made it a wonderful experience. The two men that came out were friendly, but quiet and knowledgeable. The carpets look fantastic! We awoke to a flooded basement on Saturday morning. Within a few hours we had multiple fans, heaters and dehumidifier set up and drying out our basement. Buddy was delightful to work with and basement carpet looks better than before. We highly recommend Buddy and Coit.

We had carpets, stairs, couches, headboard, and ottomans cleaned--a big job. cleaner worked extra hard to get up stains and cat hair and took time to communicate about any remaining stains. Excellent service--everything looked better than expected at end of cleaning.

COIT did an excellent job in cleaning my draperies. They were in the area the day I called and came right over and took the drapes down. The employee was efficient and pleasant. A few days later they were cleaned, pressed and looking like new hanging back up again. I do wish the expense had been more modest. It seemed too expensive, but then everything costs lots of money!

My elderly dog had an accident on a brand new window drape. I was sure Id have to replace it, but called Coit first. They were very responsive, the drape was picked up in the next couple of days and was returned one week later (a week earlier than quoted) and re-installed, all at an outstanding price with wonderful customer service. I have severe cat allergies and asthma and moved into a new home that previously had 2 cats living in it. I was having a hard time breathing and there were certain rooms in my house I couldn’t even go into. I decided to have my vents cleaned in hopes of clearing some of that up. They were very friendly and helpful over the phone when setting my appointment. The man who serviced my home was very friendly and professional and even worked around my son’s nap. He found tons of cat hair along with cat feces in the vents- so glad that air isn’t being pushed through my house anymore! Since then my allergies and asthma have been much better. The problem isn’t completely gone, but that probably won’t happen until I rip out a few carpets. All in all I’m very satisfied and although it was slightly more than I expected as took longer than I expected, it was well worth the money.

I was happy with the carpet cleaning, though I though he didnt quote me a price and I had a 40% off discount. I felt the price was quite high. The tile cleaning cost me $90 and was also 40% off. I had a very small bathroom shower stall cleaned -- though I must admit I have cleaned it by hand as clean as the young man did. He just said sometimes it just doesnt come off very well. It was white tile and 20 years old so maybe that is true. Could he not have told me that before he did the job?Also. my appointment was scheduled for between 2 and 4 p.m. He called at 9:30 and said he was running ahead and could he come at 10:00. I could only make it at 11:00. That was a little difficult as I had planned around the times I was previously given.

Very happy with the results. We can now use our heater this winter. We have lived in the house for over 5 years and never had ducts cleaned before. Not sure if previous owners had ever cleaned them either. But after moving a lot of dirt around in the backyard and having new flooring and carpeting installed we decided it was time to have some deep cleaning done on the ducts. Now with winter upon us we can use the heater and not have to breath all the dust and dirt. Thanks Coit.

I was very pleased with the service. I felt that he cleaned the air ducks well, informing us of a better air filter for our furnace and why. He cleaned all the vents which was nice as it is hard to remember to do this. I would use them again for air duct cleaning.

Excellent service and the end product was much better than Zero Res. For the amount of carpet cleaned at 40% discount I was not impressed. It seems that your pricing is more than I expected. I paid over $200.00 for part of my living room and hallway with only around my bed in the bedroom. Coit has cleaned our vents twice now and we have enjoyed clean air in our home. Before the job was performed, Andrew (the technician) and I walked through each room and he had me point out any vents that werent obvious, like behind furniture. Expect there to be loud machinery near your furnace area during the job. What else would you expect from a powerful suction engine? Anyway, Andrew was real careful around our house, pleasant to deal with, and was very thorough. The whole job took about 3 hours. He allowed me to look at and take pictures of all the things his machine has vacuumed out of our vents. We found two LEGO bricks! Most of it, we didnt want to keep. :)

He did an excellent job on our tile. I was a little disappointed in the carpet cleaning just because he didnt clean under the doors so there is 2 inches of dirty carpet under 5 doors. I understand if they need to ask to open doors, but he didnt even ask.

On time and fair price.. some of the more deeply soiled areas were not given the special attention I wanted.. I know it could be cleaned, but then again I did not ask.. Did not think I needed to.. Evidently I should have.. No complaints.. just not outstanding..

This company lies. First, a girl came to give me an estimate and to explain the process. We had never had our tile or grout cleaned before and it was quite dark. The original grout was quite light. Our kitchen table was on a rug and the rug had been there since the beginning, so the original color of the grout was under the rug. The girl said their process would easily get our dirty grout back to the original color of our grout. She explained how cool their process was and how when the solution was sprayed onto the grout it would start to bubble and start lifting out the dirt right then and that you could see it. It sounded so awesome and I couldnt wait to see it. She then gave me some pamphlets and headed out the door and just as she was leaving she said, Oh, and if there are stains, the guy will talk to me about them then. And that was it. Then she left.When the guy came to clean the tiles, I told him I wanted to watch the bubbles go and the dirt start coming up. He looked at me kind of funny and said that doesnt happen and it was a very uneventful process. When he was done he said he couldnt get the grout as light as it originally was. So true! It is almost as dark as it was before they cleaned it. Not even close to the original color of the grout.I dont appreciate people and companies that lie and I will tell as many people as I can about their lies and my bad experience.

Very dissatisfied with their customer service. When they were only 15 minutes late, from the end of the appt time, they called to say they were stuck in traffic; which honestly was a lie. They were short staffed but couldnt be honest with their client. When they were a hour late I was told they would contact crew and return my call. At almost 2 hours late I spoke with the general manager. She was unaware of anything wrong and at that point was honest about their staffing issue but simply apologized. Thats it, all she had to say was, Im sorry. The crew arrived and quoted the work for air duct cleaning. Fairly certain they quoted $25/vent on the phone but then wrote up $45/vent. I decided not to have that done but proceeded with carpets. They did the work, and charged me a service charge. No compensation for my 2 hour wait ? I had to pay it? Carpets were ok but certainly didnt take any extra effort to remove a tough stain; still there! Will not use them again. I could give a second chance for less than adequate work but will never give my money to a company that is untruthful!

The two gentlemen that came were quick and polite. They cleaned parts of my carpet that I did not even ask for and made it look great!

The first time they came out to clean the tile in a small condo. The guy who arrived said he couldnt throw the hose up to the balcony and would have to go back downtown and get a portable machine and it was going to cost me extra money and he wouldnt be able to do it that day. After he called his manager he said he would do it. Since the condo was vacant I left to let him clean. Pre paid for the services and all. When I came back, nothing had been done. The tile still had cleaning powder i put on it days before so I knew water hadnt even touched the floor. I called and the receptionist never took any responsibility and just immediately started making excuses and saying the only thing she could do was send someone else back out and it would be days before they could get me on the scheduled. When the new guy came out he was very nice and did a good job aside from a full bucket of water being spilled on my new carpet without being cleaned up or addressed. The owner or manager never called to follow up with me. Pick another company!! Dont use these guys. Horrible customer service and business practices!

COIT was recommended to me by my mother-in-law as not the cheapest, but the best. Our technician spent hours on the 4 rooms we had cleaned and they looked brand new. We had the teflon service and the deodorizing as well (we had a few pet stains from our dog) and it worked to completely remove odors.

The professional from COIT arrived on time and was very thorough in cleaning our vents and furnace, and meticulous about keeping everything else clean, too!

So glad they could get here when I needed them!

I had my basement carpet cleaned by Scott, and he did a fabulous job, especially with getting stains out. He arrived right on time, also. I would call Coit again, for sure.

I have had an AWFUL experience using Coit. Their tech told me I would pay one price but then the invoice came for $100 more. I have called and talked to multiple people at Coit Salt Lake, and even their California offices, and Ive been totally bullied by the employees. They have not backed down when I tell them I feel misled on the pricing quote and have started threatening collections rather than listening and trying to work things out with me. Im thoroughly disappointed w/ my experience and do NOT recommed Coit. Steer clear; they do not put customers first.

COIT did a BEAUTIFUL job cleaning a vintage wool area rug for me. It was worth the price. I was blown away by how beautiful it came out.The only drawbacks I experienced in the process was in trying to get ahold of the local folks since all COIT operates through a national answering service.Also, when the technician came out to give me a bid on my wool wall-to-wall carpeting, he could not give me much information such as the product they use. At this point, I wanted a little more than reassuances that they clean wool carpets all the time.Nevertheless, after seeing how beautifully the wool runner turned out, I will plan to use them next time on my wool wall-to-wall carpeitng, particularly after spending days doing it myself - a huge job.

Stopped using Coit after the employee that did my carpets, for years, retired and none of the other employees did as good a job. Also the cost was never consistent from job to job.Decided to try Coit again. Had a Senior Tech come out and check out the work I wanted done. She gave me a very reasonable quote.The work was completed and my carpets, even with the wear in the family room look great. The price didnt change either. In fact I added a small throw rug in that I wanted done. I told the tech I would pay extra for it but he didnt charge me.Thanks Coit

Coit is Ok -I would use them in a pinch but not if I didnt have to. We have used Coit for many years but their customer service is pretty lacking and I feel they are not that trustworthy. I got a quote to clean my ducts for about $1,100. Yes you read that right. Most places charge/have quoted me in the $300 range -but I used Coit for duct cleaning years ago and they did a good job. Also, they gave me a 45% discount as a past customer so all-in I was at about $650. Still twice the price of anyone else but I figured I could count on them. The technician showed up on time and did a good job. My two complaint: I asked him to clean the return air register grills but that was not part of his job. He also said that the dryer vent was not part of the cleaning service -which it has been in the past and Im pretty sure I asked for that as part of my quote. Ok -so maybe I made a mistake, so I asked him how much to clean the dryer vent. The cost was $100! To give you some perspective, my dryer is on an outside wall so I have the flexible duct from the dryer which immediately connects to the outside vent. Why would I pay $100 when I could replace the whole duct for a $10 purchase at home depot? So I told him not to do it -Ill replace it for $10 in parts rather than pay $100 to clean it. I really felt like they tried to take advantage of me and can only imagine what they do to others who are not as savvy (my elderly parents come to mind). So not only did I pay at least twice what other companies charge for the basic service but they would not clean my return air grills and wanted to charge me $100 for a simple dryer vent cleaning AFTER they started work. So I guess the question is, could you trust them?

I had a coupon for Chemdry, so I had them come clean my carpets. They didnt look clean, so they came back the next day to do touch ups but it was still terrible. I called Coit a few months later and I am AMAZED at how clean my carpet looks, feels, and smells! They were reasonably priced and they showed up exactly when they said they would. I will only be using Coit from now on!

I spoke to a gentleman in customer service to get a quote to clean my condo he said it would be $125.00 even to clean 4 rooms. Yet the next day when the tech showed up he looked around at my barley dirty carpets and said it would be $175.00 when i told him what the guy said on the phone his excuse was oh thats just a phone quote its not real even tho they gave that same quote to my landlord who called separately from me!!! not to mention when he showed up he didnt have a clue on how to set up he kept asking me where to set up and how to hook up his stuff. All in all it was the biggest mistake to even call them DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

First guy that came out didnt get the grout clean in the kitchen. The second guy used a scrub brush on the grout and it came amazingely cleaner. First guy didnt use a brush.
