Recently I had my air conditioner compressor unit and coils replaced by Hartman Heating. The previous unit was installed incorrectly by another company and the unit was not completely compatible with my home. I spent years of frustration with the older unit.Last year I had called Hartman for a tuneup. Jason came over to do this tuneup. He stopped half way through the tuneup and let me know that a tuneup would not solve the problem and what was needed. Of course this reduced the charge drastically. I was really impressed on how I was treated at that time. He explained what was needed and made phone calls to make sure what special savings would be possible. At this time I had the means to make the necessary changes. So I called Jason a couple of weeks ago and he came over and we put together a work order.I really appreciate Don and Tim who came over and made the installation and needed changes. They were very thorough and professional and did a super quality job! (No messes or cleanup needed, I just enjoyed the cool air!)I finally have a happy family during these hot summer days!Hartman has a life long customer!!
I was very pleased with the level of service given by Shane P. He was right time for a early morning appointment and took the to explain everything to me and help me understand the issue with my air conditioner. He fixed everything and the pricing was more than fair. He even checked my furnace filter and when it turned out to be dirty he replaced it at no charge. He went above and beyond what I expected! I will definitely use their services again!
I had an absolutely amazing experience with this company today. Three of their employees were at my home and they were all so nice and professional. They answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to help me. They worked very hard to get the job done in one day and they were even done a few hours earlier than they thought they would be. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! Their customer service was excellent and their service was great. If I ever have another problem, I will not hesitate to call them!
I have used Hartman twice in the past 6 months, once for a new furnace and again for a new water heater. Both times I received EXCEPTIONAL service! Mark Nicholas was extremely helpful in getting my information to the office quickly, and Rachel called me first thing to schedule an appointment.I also received a call 30 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time, just to let me know the technician was on his way and would arrive a little bit early. The technicians took the time to explain everything about how our new furnace and water heater worked and when to change filter, get service, etc.Absolutely professional company!
Not accommodating in the least bit. I needed a simple question answered about how their techs wired the thermostat. Their service desk refused to take my contact details and have a tech call me. Instead wanted to charge me for a tech visit to answer a 5 minute question. That is not customer service.I called the local Trane Supply house and their techs graciously answered my question. Customer service is about helping the customer. They did not and as such I will take my business elsewhere.Followup after reading the response below it is clear they did not understand that I tried to get the service desk to take my contact information and have tech call me. They would NOT they would only arrange for a service call.
I have had Bruce and Sam from Hartman here all day installing my new furnace. I have had to hire and work with companies offering these services for more than thirty years in my job and believe me when I found a good one I hung on to them. Hartman would have been my guys. From the start on Tuesday to the finish today, they have been the best. Thanks so much.
I had some initial problems with how my financing account was set up, but in the end the company and I reached a resolution. Also, the installation services were great. The technicians were very quick, friendly and knowledgeable. One of them even called me the next day to check on the system and ensure that I was satisfied with the installation.
My 15 year old gas furnace decides to stop running. I had another company come out and want to replace the part for 1,500 after 5 minutes of looking at it. Hartman Heating and air comes out later that day, gets right into the furnace, pulls some things out, find the fan is clogged with built up sulfur, gives it a good clean and its back to running. The Teck. informed me that we should be prepared to replace the furnace soon but it will continue to work. Thanks for the hands on work and the honesty and we will call Abundant when we are ready for a new furnace.
I have suggested Hartman Heating / CSI to several of my friends, and to my brother for a new furnace A/C system, and my Mother for a new system as well. Recently they did a project for me at my home, and were several thousands of dollars less than a competitor. The work was done in a timely manner, and the after the sale customer service was top notch. I will continue to suggest them to any of my contacts that ask for a referral to a high quality contractor.SB
Hartman Heating and Air were very professional and did a great job! they gave me a very fair price along with a 10 year warrantee. I have NOTHING bad to say about my experience and would refer them to all my friends and family.
Gary was thorough, courteous and got the job done quickly. This was my second time using Comfort Solutions and definitely not my last.
The technician came promptly - Im fact early, was very thorough and explained what he had done. Only problem - he changed our thermostat settings without telling us.
The tech was 40 minutes late, but the service was good. He was knowledgable about what needed to be done for the biannual service on out heating as ac systems.
Really great people who work there. Easy to do business with. I like that.
Easy to schedule an appointment. This was a furnace tune-up promo through Groupon. Eddie arrived on time and was very courteous. Would definitely recommend to others.
Stay away from them!!!!They promise one way to do the work and after you agree to go with their company they do things another, easier way, which cost them much less than their estimate.
I have already wasted way too much time with this company last year. All I want to say is, that I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Customer Service from Upper Management doesnt exist and they are very unprofessional. Walter was excellent but I had a very disappointing interactions and experience with the rest of the company. I am sorry I ever called you.
Right on Time. Very Clean and Professional. They actually put drop cloths down and wore things on their shoes. Very fair on price. I would Def use them again. Best HVAC Company I have ever worked with.
As always things break on the weekends. But first thing Monday morning they came and got our Air conditioning going. Thanks so much.
Cheaper than the other 2 companies we talked to. There were there the same day, and were the very professional and friendly. I did not feel like I was being taken for a ride. Highly recommended!
We had Hartman come out to fix our heater and they put the wrong switch in. When we called them to come check they said it would be an $89 diagnostic fee.
Technician was very knowledgeable, and polite. Did a great job
Hartman was quick to respond and fixed our AC. Would use again
I had used Hartman in the past with nice results so I called them when my furnace quit. I suspected it was an easy fix and sure enough, the tech replaced the igniter and it started up fine. Then guy tried to tell me it was leaking lethal amounts of carbon monoxide. At first I believed him until he kept dwelling on it and showing me the high readings. He called the salesman to come out and while we were waiting he said I could turn on the furnace in the mornings to get the chill out of the house until my furnace could be replaced. RED FLAG. If it were spewing carbon monoxide as he claimed, I would be dead. He charged me $350 and left. $350 for an igniter that took 5 minutes to replace. The salesman arrived and right off the bat acted like I was wasting his time even commenting he had other appointments like he was doing me a favor to even show up. As I asked questions he would barely answer like I would be too dumb to know what he was talking about. He quoted me an outrageous amount for a new furnace and had the nerve to ask me where I would be getting the money to pay for it since I was semi retired. After he left I called the gas company. They came immediately and spent two hours checking my entire house for this high amount of carbon monoxide and found nothing but normal levels. I bought two high quality carbon monoxide detectors and have had no high readings all winter. They were definitely out to score a sale. Beware.
I had a guy come out to service my air. He was pretty surly because he had to go on the roof. I was low on freon, so he topped it off. The job took about an hour and he charged me $500. Totally ripped me off. Never again!
I paid these folks over 14,000 in repair work on a commercial property. I also purchased a brand-new HVAC system for a rental property. These guys do not stand behind their products and they will not warrantee them like they say. I would strongly suggest looking for other HVAC contractors. Especially One that will stand behind their products, labor and warranty them.
Exceptional customer service and great installation of my air conditioner
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. I contacted these guys to come out and give me a price on AC repair. I already know what is wrong with my AC. It needs a new condensor motor. Their website says FREE ESTIMATES but they forget to mention thats for a new installation. They wanted to charge $76 for telling me what I already knew. I think that is very shady way of doing business. You advertise FREE ESTIMATES but really they are $76. They make alot of money just giving estimates. They are robbing people by False advertising.
Not happy at all!!! My client just purchased a home and a couple of days after moving in the refrigerator was hooked up and then there was a leak. The buyers purchased an AHS contract and I actually scheduled for them a service request. AHS sent Hartman to them as the preferred vendor and the client called Hartman to see if they could come out quicker. The dispatch person communicated to my buyer that AHS would not pay for the claim because it was quote within a 2 week window and the only way they are coming out is if she agrees to pay the full service at the time they come out. I called AHS and they are agreeing to pay it and there is not such thing as a 2 week window because it is considered unknown preexisting. AHS is not at fault here Hartman is for mis information and for leading my clients on!
Service tech was very nice and helpful.
I called on Hartman to help diagnose and repair a plumbing issue in my home. Mike Hansen was the inital worker to come out. He was unsure of where the exact leak was coming from, but ran a camera down the pipes from the roof and felt that it needed fruther investigating. He called his plumbing manager, Jarred Roberts, who came out a few hours later to investigate. After taking a look he determined that my entire sewer line needed to be replaced. It was also recommended that we reroute/replace the drain pipe from the bathroom and reconnect it to the sewer line in the laundry room to avoid damage to the fireplace that I wanted to preserve. Jarred came back a few days later with a bid of $6,430.00 for drain replacement and $10,315.00 for street repair/sewer lateral line replacemnet. He also stated that he had reported the issues with the city and that my property had been flagged. I would have to replace the entire sewer line regardless of my intentions with the home.I had Electric Rooter out for a 2nd opinion. After investigating the issue, it was decided that the sewer line shoud be cleaned out. After which a camera was run through the line. I saw what they saw on the screen and they explained everything as they went along and determined that my pipes were fine. This issue resolved with a good clean out and a new plug to seal an unsused drain at the cost of $355.50. I metioned my concern over the fact that Jarred had reported to the city and flagged my property. They called the inspector for my area and he said that was false, that there was no way to flag my property. I also called the city to follow up and they said the same thing.I feel that Hartman took advantage of my situation - female, naive, emotional after the loss of my mother and moving back to my childhood home. I find it apalling that they would use such scare tactics to ensure a job.
Hartmann installed a new furnace and central air for my 100 year old home in September 2014. They provided the same for my parents a few years before and they were thrilled, not only with Hartmanns product, but their service. In an effort to be a responsible consumer, I got three bids. Over the years, Ive learned its best to not pick the cheapest bid nor the highest. This happened to be the case with Hartmann....and my advice to myself has served me well. I have nothing but good things to say about all the people I met during the process. The salesman, Marc, was very thorough and explained things to me in an easily understandable way and was knowledgeable about the cost and the products...hes great to work with. The installers were amazing...what a hard working crew! The follow-up service from the office, and from Lo (sp?), especially, was both gracious and generous. Im really picky about who I have doing work on my house. Hartmann has now made my list of trusted businesses that I will call again in a heartbeat and not feel the need to get other bids. My only regret is that I just found out today that they do plumbing and construction and I missed out on an opportunity to give them more business fixing a major sewage problem I had at my house in December.
This company came out to my home and told my husband that our air conditioning unit was no good and was leaking freon and could not be fixed and we would need to purchase a brand new unit for $4,500 dollars. They also made us pay $80 dollars just to give us a bid. Since then we have called another company Holms and Holms and they said that our unit could be fixed for $200 dollars and the unit should get us by for another 2 to 3 summers before it breaks. I was not impressed with Hartman and would not recommend them to anyone. I would recommend Holms and Holms they are an awesome company that tells the truth!
Called Hartman to come have look at my furnace that was not properly heating. They came out and charged me $120.00 to tell me they couldnt fix the blocked part without extensive cleaning charge. They also, quoted 250.00 for broken part that I priced out at $27.00 online plus another 240.00 for labor to install the part that literally takes 5 minutes to replace. Stay away from these guys!! I fixed everything in literally 15 minutes and saved hundreds of dollars
Arrived on time, was fast friendly and professional.
Terrible Customer Service, called to inquire about an AprilAir500 install and the lady pretty much hung up on me.
Very responsive and honorable.
