We had issues with the car while driving. We talked with customer service who sent us to a rental place whom didnt have any rental cars. Drove to a second location at the airport in Nashville. The agent was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. Whom told us it was our choice to return the car because it needed an oil change. Despite customer service telling us we needed to bring the car back. This entire ordeal took hours out of our trip making us late for reservations. I will never rent with avis again.

Car was ready BEFORE I asked for it. The Avis rep at the counter is ALWAYS friendly and helpful and seems to always be one step of ahead of me! No issues at all with the car. I enjoy renting from Avis at the Rockford, IL airport!!

Everytime I come here he is always gone cleaning a car. Have to wait 30 minutes to an hour everytime. Standing here now with 4 other people waiting. You would think he would check especially knowing there are reservations on the books. I wouldnt use Avis but unfortunately my company chooses cruddy rental service companies

Got over charge without telling me full price up front. Put me and my family in dangerous situation by not inspecting the car like enterprise does and I got sent on my trip with a tire about to fall off and didnt even relaize how bad it was till we where 1000 miles away I will never come back to avis

They only had one guy running the show so i had to wait for him to clean the cars to get my rental so i was late for work. Other than that the man was friendly but the lady working in the next booth over wasnt very helpful.

Easy pickup at counter.

I rented a car to return home to California from Illinois rather than risk air travel. When I arrived at the small regional airport to pick up my rental car, two other people were waiting for rental car agents from two other rental car companies. Only the Avis agent showed up while we were all there. From start to finish my experience with Avis was very positive.

Cmon Avis?!They want to show them a passport with a VALID ADDRESS. What the h*ll?Either is a Mexican passport or an American passport, it never shows the address. Last time I am renting a car here.I showed my Drivers license, he asked for my passport but he needs it with an address. Cmon guys!

I love the location in Cherry valley. I had to go to the one in Rockford because they didnt have a premium car at Cherry valley. At first it was no problem. I get my rental done get told its $100 hold. I go to check my credit card and its $159. There were extra dings and dents on the car that I had to call and notify them about as previous renters reviews made me aware of the scams they try to pull. I highly recommend going to the location in Cherry valley over Rockford.

Booked a car rental online 2 days prior. Paid in full for the car rental for the week. Went into pick up, they said they couldnt let us have a car because of no credit card, as we were never told we would require one for deposit. Well, needless to say we were very upset, the guy behind the counter was very unprofessional, very unsympathetic, and very rude. He was in no way shape or form helpful as to how we can get our refund. He literally wrote a number down on a piece of scratch paper, shoved it at us, didnt even say have a good day or anything. Needless to say we are out over $200 and have to wait for the refund along with being told on the phone we are being charged for a cancellation. Which isnt the truth at all. We went to enterprise, was in and out in literally 10 minutes, absolutely no issue whatsoever. Never again will I hassle Avis and their very rude costumer service! -5 stars if I could .and the customer service employee was also 15 minutes late to work.

Such a great experience with Avis! I was transporting a very important client and all of the Avis representatives were very helpful with my questions and concerns, especially Royce. The vehicle was in excellent condition and was actually better than I originally thought it would be. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family and will be using them in the future!Thank You Avis, I will be seeing you soon!

The staff at Omaha Airport and Kansas City airport were VERY helpful and kind. I became Avis preferred and havent regretted it once! I kind of do hate the one-way fees but hey, every rental company has that. :)

Without a doubt, Avis is the best rental place in Rockford! The Avis guy is the best in the business. Ive been renting with them for several years. One year someone hit our parked vehicle while we were on a tour at the hockey rink in Lake Placid. When I rented, I had purchased the extra insurance. I reported the hit and run and Avis brought us another vehicle and took care of all the expenditures. I trust this company.

Royce does a fine job dealing with a diverse number of customers. He makes the process as painless as possible. I am looking forward to the finishing of the construction, as getting in and getting out is a bit more of a hassle, but that is on RFD, not Avis. Renting from Avis RFD is very convenient, and I will be renting from there for a good long time.

We have rented cars from Avis for the last several years and have been very pleased with the cars and with the service we received. Royce has always been the agent we have dealt with and he has always been personable and knowledgable, we dont care to deal with anyone BUT Royce.

I often rent cars for both work and pleasure and my primary rental agency is AVIS because of the benefits Im provided by works contracting with AVIS. As a result I rent from the AVIS RENTAL CAR - ROCKFORD AIRPORT fairly frequently. This is a small facility, and from my experience for the most part a one-man operation. The gentleman in charge is named Royce and while this is a small operation, this place consistently continues to be the best car rental experience I have by far. Royce offers everyone a friendly smile and greeting when you approach the rental counter and that sets the tone for the whole exchange. Hes always very helpful in getting the vehicle that I need (word of caution - the facility is busy and getting cars can be a problem sometimes so try and speak with him personally a couple of days in advance of your rental if you have any concerns - hell try to accommodate you but its not always possible) and the cars are always very clean; something my wife always comments on. This latest rental was a last minute emergency with just a couple of hours notice, but the experience was still the definition of FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I showed up at the facility I received the same cheerful greeting that Ive grown to expect and as usual a spotless car for my trip. Given any option I would utilize AVIS ROCKFORD AIRPORT for all of my car rentals.

We rented a car at the Rockford Airport and were going to a wedding in Montana.The Car we requested was just the make and model we were hoping for. (2015 Toyota Camry) On our travel back from the wedding, the Camrys Reqd Maint. light came on. I contacted Avis and they directed me to the closest Avis dealer where we got me another car. No hassle no problems. We were then late dropping off the car at our ending dentation because of the car change. We were greeted with a smile and told not to worry about it. What a way to end an GREAT Trip.Also a big thanks to Tim at the South Dakota Regional Airport Avis for the help with the CD I left in the disk played.

Associate/manager was rude to myself and girlfriend. Laughing at her and hanging up and than being rude to me after I called in trying to resolve the issue. I rent vehicles often and was looking to rent a 2 door coupe, he offered to have his guys go pick it up from Chicago but only if I hurried up and made a decision since his guys had better things to do. So I called up the nearest other car rental place, happened to be Enterprise and rented from them, was treated alot better too.
