I needed to rent a car to cover for a car repair. Pete Meister was extremely professional and very helpful to make sure I was able to rent a car. For a very fair price I received a practically new car. Also during the check out he was very informative of how the car works and drives. Very helpful and very fast check in when I returned the car less than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this business and I will use it again
Pete is AWESOME and his store is the only place well go to rent a car. Hes friendly, and works with you to help you get what you need, either due to an emergency or for a road trip. He handles very busy times with humor and calmness, and pays great attention to each customer without rushing anyone. Outstanding service each and every time. The BEST! 5 stars all the way!

Easiest car rental I’ve ever had! And we’ve rented all over the US and Mexico. Quick pick up, brand new car for a VERY reasonable price, and dropped off at night, putting the key in the overnight Dropbox.
Loved my experience, it was super easy to book online and select the vehicle i wanted, the price was by far the best compared to the competition and the service agent at the counter was super friendly and personable, he answered all of my questions. On top of it all my vehicle was almost brand new, and EXACTLY what i had requested online. Loved this location, will absolutely use again for future rentals
Offered to upgrade for free then found out a month later when my credit card bill came that I was charged 3xs the price I was suppose to be charged.... Conveniently his printer didnt print my receipt at drop off. NEVER EVER RENT FROM HERE
I have never used Budget before - typically I go with the well pick you up guys. But when I tried to rent a car one-direction... then wait two weeks and get a different one-way rental to drive back, I was shocked at what they wanted to charge. I went to Budget and was able to get a rental car and KEEP IT FOR THE FULL TWO WEEK... and saved $300 in the process from what those other guys wanted to charge for me for using a car only two days. And theyre all using the same cars - new vehicles. Its a no brainer for me now, and Budget will be my first call for all future car rentals.

Worst rental experience ever! I rented an intermediate size car from them and got charged $716.00... Which on the contrary lives up to their name. Not only that, but after 2 weeks they are still holding on to $120 of my money in a temporary authorization. So all together Ive been charged ALMOST $1000 from this company just for a 2 week rental! Ive called the Virginia Beach location and the customer service number, and dealing with both departments has been so frustrating. After at least receiving a refund on $70 worth of late fees, i was basically told that im stuck with the $60 admin fee and will have to wait 50 days for them to release the $120 that they have pending. 😠 RENTING HERE IS NOT WORTH IT!!! STICK WITH ENTERPRISE... Budgets fine print will get you... AND THIS IS WITH USING A CREDIT CARD EXPERIENCE!
My experience was great!I was visiting a church in Rockport from Ohio.The caught a flat. The exchanged the car, i was able to be on time for an appointment.I left a hat in the window. And no one has called. To tell me they found it. Im unable to contact them because they dont have the prompts. I pray they find it be honest and return it. It is has sentimental value.
My sister and I planned a trip to Disneyworld in March. We reserved a 12 passenger van (in March),for 1 week the at 1200$. A week before the trip I called to confirm my reservation and the Rep (at this location) and he told me that if we did not have a major credit card, they would have to run a credit check. I said ok I checked my moms score on credit karma, mines and also my sisters( all of the drivers) the night before.Our scores were pretty good and i was confident that we would get the 12p Van. So the next the day we got up and packed all of out bags and told the kids to get ready because we were heading out to get the van and wed be in the road shortly. We get there and the Rep Pete was rude off top. He helped about 3 people that were just walking in (saying that they were just drop offs) . Strike one. So after waiting there for 35 minutes he finally was ready to check us in. As soon as we get to desk he says in a rude manner where is your drivers license? So we all pulled out our dl. He pretended like he typed in my dl number and handed me back my dl and said its not approved we need a major credit card. Which at the time i had a master card with a 300 dollar limit, so he said that the limit wasnt enough.Ok so proceeded to go outside and see if i could get an increase. As i was doing that he proceeded to check my mothers score ( who at the time was at a 780) he immediately handed my mom back her dl and said your score is too low i cant let you rent the van. So my sister says hey can you use my sisters card for the 300$ and we can pay the rest cash now he said no! Meanwhile im outside seeing if i can get an increase on my cc.Well in 15 minutes i got and increase from 300 to 1000$ !! I ran back in and i told him about the increase. He told me that since the rental was for 1283$ for 7 days that he couldnt allow us to rent. We said that we would cut our vaction short so that we could take pay 900$ instead of going over the limit. He said NO! HE DOESNT TRUST IT!. SO after arguing with Pete for about 3 hours we finally left in tears. Realizing that he just was not going to rent the van to 3 black women. We stepped outside in tears and exhaustion trying to figure out how we were going to explain to our children, we werent going on this trip to Disneyworld for the 4th of July.We ended going down the street to Hertz and since it was last minute we were able to get two compact cars. So we had to fit 2 car seats 1 booster seat 2 kids 2 teenagers 3 adults and luggage in to two compact cars. At the time i was 37 weeks pregnant and my sister and i had to do a drive from Illinois to Florida (23h) there and back.The kids had a good time but driving down there and not stopping for sleep made the trip exhausting and miserable for my sister and I but the kids had a good time and that was the end goal!! Thank God for that man at Hertz! And im praying for you Pete you are one miserable young man.
I RENTED FROM THIS LOCATION IN 2013. I LEFT MY $200 GLASSES INTHE VEHICLE . I CALLED BACK 30 MINUTES AFTER RETURNING IT AND SAID I LEFT MY GLASSES IN THE VEHICLE AND COULD I GET THEM BACK. THE GUY WHO RUNS IT SAID THE VEHICLE WENT TO SCHAUMBURG ALREADY AND SAID TO BAD YOU CANT GET EM BACK. WELL YESTERDAY I MADE RESERVATIONS ONLINE TO RENT A VEHICLE W/ MY CREDIT CARD.THROUGH BUDGET. THEY TALKED ME INTO UPGRADING FOR A BETTER DEAL. I ASKED IF A DEPOSIT WOULD BE REQUIRED FOR PICK UP. I WAS TOLD NO SINCE IM USING A CREDIT CARD. I WENT TO THE CHERRYVALE MALL ONE AND THE SAME IDIOT WHO STOLE MY GLASSES SAID THEY REQUIRED A DEPOSIT. BECAUSE I UPGRADED I WAS $10 SHORT OF THE REQUIRED AMOUNT ON MY CC. I WAS TOLD TO CANCEL THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION AND GET A CHEAPER VEHICLE. AFTER DOING SO THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE 10 DAYS FOR THE MONEY TO GO BACK TO MY CARD AND THEY CHARGED ME $150 FOR CANCELLING THE RESERVATION THEY MESSED UP. DONT RENT FROM HERE IF YOU ARE MONEY CONSCIOUS AND DONT WANT TO GET SCREWED AROUND. MY CC COMPANY IS NOW MAKING ME SIGN AND FILL OUT A BUNCH OF PAPERWORK TO GET THIS RESOLVED
Ive been using this place for a couple years and today will be the last with the customer service I just received. I called last week for a certain vehicle and its fine the vehicle is not available but give me attitude!

Worst service ever. I made a reservation and paid in advance. I went to pick up the car and was told they do not have any cars available. I attempted to cancel the reservation and was told I would have to pay $150 to cancel a reservation for a car that they do not have available.
