My repair appointment was scheduled for the next day after I placed the call. Serviceman was punctual for both home visits. Needed part for repair was available and installed the next day after the initial visit. Sears honor the service warranty that I have in place

Serviceman was extremely professional and polite. Quick Diagnosis of the problem on my LG refrigerator and had the right parts on his truck to make the repairs quickly. Will use Sears Repair Service again, if I need repairs in the future.
After waiting 3 weeks to have someone come out and 480.00 later it still doesn’t work. Now to get them back out it will be another 2 weeks

Chris Hinson is an excellent and very experienced technician. I always request him and am very pleased when he comes to service my lawn tractor. He is very polite and you know that he really cares about his customers and his work.
The associate was very professional and courteous. I was not in need of a repair, only a maintenance, but it was performed in a timely manner and I am pleased.I do have one thing to say about the scheduling: I dont understand why the window of time is given between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Who can devote a whole day for this service? Then I was called and told it would be the first appointment of the day and was given a time of 10:00. The service rep. showed up at 8:30 am, so I was totally unprepared. I feel that you have got to get a better scheduling system going!!

I was given an appointment 3.5 weeks away for a refrigerator repair! No refrigerator over Thanksgiving was not going to fly...Outsourced service, even though, my refrigerator was under warranty and the service tech was at my door @ 0730 the next business day, went to get parts and came back the same day to repair! 9 days without a fridge was long enough.Once my warranties are up I’m not going back to sears. I used to love sears home service but this last year they have really gone downhill. They do not have local sears techs in Rock Hill area. Sears contracts to the lowest bidder in this area and it really shows.
When the technical arrived the hood was not flickering and he never was able to see it. He researched the problem and found that we had the wrong size bulbs. We purchased the correct bulbs and it mostly solved the problem. The flickering happens much less often.Won during if we are able to purchase a new light unit for this hood?

This is regarding Sears and Frigidaire refrigerator (French Door w/bottom freezer) - WORST APPLIANCE EVERThey are all refusing to replace an appliance with KNOWN issues - the ice maker is in the fresh foods area of the product - look on line at the numerous complaints regarding this design! Also - a breakdown of the insulation from the manufacturer or Freon leak is causing a large rust spot on the back of this fridge - even the service tech sent out by Sears/Kenmore - immediately pulled the fridge out just to see if one existed because - ITS A KNOWN ISSUE!!!!!I finally got the right number to contact KENMORE - then FINALLY the correct number to contact FRIGIDAIRE.... once I explained the reason for my call - THE CALL(S)10+ WERE dropped each time!FRIGIDAIRE never once said they would repair/replace - one rep told me my issue was part of a RECALL - not even one other contact I made would state the same....completely UNSATISSFIED AND DISSAPPOINTED in SEARS, KENMORE and FRIGIDAIRE. When I purchase a new appliance package it will NOT be any of the brands listed above or any appliance manufactured or sold under those names listed above. Nor will I purchase another one of the French-door bottom freezer design UNLESS the ICEMAKER is encapsulated within the door keeping the CONDENSATION issue that my current model has now - at bay - this opening of the fresh foods area throughout the normal day causes the older design to have condensation which then freezes making the icemaker have numerous issues/malfunctions!!!! Just admit the flaw in this design and do SOMETHING to assist replacement of the bad product for the numerous loyal customers whom have stuck with you over the last 50 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolute awful customer service. The service technican failed to fix my washing machine. I contacted Sears appointment center to see if they could get him back out to my house the same day to see what was going on. They informed me that the dispatch center would contact me. 3 hours later nothing. So i called back again, to be told the same thing. 30 mins later, no one has contacted me. I call back and request a supervisor. He informs that a technican cannot come back out until Friday ( this happens on weds). I have to work friday so I request saturday. They do not do weekend appointments, so now I must wait until Monday for them to come out. $159 and I still have no washing machine for 5 days. I request a refund so that I may pay someone else to fix what they did not. They inform me that they cannot refund me until they confirm that my machine isnt working. Furious at this point, I state that this is unacceptable and I need to speak to someone else. The rep just sits in silence, heavy breathing with no response. Then he states he is not repeating himself. So i contact the complaint department, who then puts me on hold, comes back, state they cannot hear me (which they didnt give me a moment to respond) and hangs up. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I will never purchase anything or use any of Sears services again!
Lets start off by saying I am not happy....1st - Sears comes to my town only on Tuesdays. So when the Dryer broke on Wednesday, we had to wait until the following Tuesday.2nd - They dont carry any parts in the vans or so it seems. The wiring harness had to be replaced for this repair and he made sure we knew this problem had nothing to do with his previous repair of replacing the motor (?)... The repair man placed the order and see ya next Tuesday...3rd - Repair man came back and brought a helper, never introduced him as they came into the house to do the dryer repair. There isnt room for 2 people working in the utility room along with the dismantled dryer and he knew this from replacing the motor 2 weeks ago.4th - Repair man replaced the wiring harness and then walked out without hooking the dryer back to the vent because the vent hose was larger (by half an inch ) than the vent pipe and he said it could cause the dryer to burn up again.Did I mention that I am not happy???
