I received a call back from the technician in less than 10 minutes of speaking with the call center. From phone call to his arrival was 30 minutes maybe. An outstanding experience all around. A serious problem was discovered during maintenance of our homes A/C system. Comfort Zone of Carolinas was assigned by our home warranty company. Comfort Zones technician, John, came to our home. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and capable. He was also a great guy and an excellent communicator. Trusted him immediately. John diagnosed the problem and, along with Louise back in the office, navigated the difficult business of dealing with a home warranty company to get the job done right. A tough repair was done exactly as promised. Very satisfied and grateful. We now have an HVAC company we can trust and rely on. I highly recommend them.

Worst situation ever. After multiple visits from them and spending $$ it was one thing after another. Went from a simple problem to one that would cost thousands. Very bizarre. Im seeking a second opinion. Professionalism was so so..

Quick and painless install. However, it took 5 days to speak to someone about changing out the thermostat and this is due to only the owner dealing with new build residential customers.

The technician was prompt. Very respectful and professional, he explained every step of his service prior to performing it to my husband. He was the second technician to come out in 2 days the first guy misdiagnosed the problem, however Comfort Zone gave the correct diagnosis and corrected the problem. I was without air for a week. My house feels great.

I had a Ptac unit in a added room. Contacted other companies but Comfort Zone was the only one that would even come out to look at my system. They told me what I suspected. The unit needed replacing. After talking with his owner, the company decided they would replace the unit for me. I was quite happy. They replaced and the technician were very professional and pleasant to work with. We have had our unit for as long as as have been in the house; 13 years. The unit is working but we wanted to get it checked; being proactive. Brian was here earlier than I was quoted, he took me through all the steps he was doing, and gave straight quotes about what is needed and the (gulp) cost. I have to discuss with the boss, aka my wife, on what to do at this point. We shall see what happens.

I have used comfort zone of the Carolinas for many, many years. They have replaced both of my heat pumps over the years at reasonable prices. Last year they replaced all my heat ducts on the downstairs system. Bryon Poole has provided semi annual maintenance on both systems dependably for years. I trust Bryon and the Comfort Zone team to be there when I need them with honest, fairly-priced, quality service.

He did a really good job fixing my air conditioner, my house is much cooler. He needed to get under my crawl space to check my unit, but i didnt have the key at the time, so he made time to come out the next day, after I unlocked the crawl space, even after paying my deposit, to look at my unit. I highly recommend them.

Just want to share my experience with Comfort Zone of the Carolinas. Great company to deal with and have great products and pricing. But I need to share my experience on an unfortunate event that transpired. The reason I called for a quote is because they offer the Wells Fargo Financing option which worked well because we have the Wells Fargo Carrier Credit Card. Matt from Comfort Zone was great and offered me the proper system. Prior to ordering I asked Matt about our situation and our Credit card through Wells Fargo and asked him to run the card first just in case theres any issues. He guarantee not to worry and that will not be an issue as they have their financing through Wells Fargo. So the order was placed and the new system installed. Once the time came for payment then the issue started. Apparently they are a vendor for Wells Fargo on financing but not for the carrier credit card program. We declined to run our credit for financing again due to the impact on our credit scores. They had to come back out and remove the new unit and furnace. They left me without AC and could not install my old unit. As for customer satisfaction they should have gone above and beyond to reinstall my older unit until we can get someone else out here that has that program through Wells Fargo. I feel they lack understanding on their product financing options through Wells Fargo. If they would of ran that card prior to installation we would not have gone through all this mess. They did confirm they drop the ball and apologized but at least they should have follow through with at least installing back the older unit. That would have been a WOW moment for me and any other consumer would agree. For consumers out there, if you already have financing through Wells Fargo please make sure they run payment first to be sure. Not a bad company at all just lack of customer satisfaction.

The techs that came out was fast and answered all my questions. No complaints.I would use them again if we have any other issues with our AC/Heat.

Fantastic service from beginning to end. We got home late and found our gas was 90 degrees. Called after midnight and Jason returned my call within minutes. Walked me through a few steps to at least get some air flowing and still offered to come out that night. I set up an appointment for the next day and he had us up and running in no time. The folks from Comfort Zone came out the same day when our AC suddenly stopped working. They were thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, timely, and affordable. I have known Jason and his team for a number of years. When we built a house in 2006, Jason is who we used. When we downsized and moved into a townhouse in 2011, it already had a system installed. It worked well enough, but it was so noisy, we couldnt sit outside when it was running without having to go in and shut down the system. After several years, we decided enough was enough and the first call we made was to Comfort Zone of the Carolinas. Jason came out, looked at our situation, went through all the possible scenarios. He was polite, knowledgeable and displayed sincerity that is lacking in a lot of contractors. Bottom line is he did what he said, quicker than he said he would do it, and not only delivered on all accounts, he went above and beyond to make sure that any other underlying issues from the original install were eliminated. Comfort Zone came out last year to service my system. I knew it was limping along for the last couple of years. They serviced and no hard sale on replacing. Just told me to let them know if I needed anything at any time to just call. I called 2 months ago to finally replace my units. They put a whole new system in for me on one day. Just got the first electric bill after having the systems. It actually went DOWN $97 compared to same time last year. And $40 lower than last month! Should have replaced the units sooner. Had originally contracted with a different vendor who was a little rough on timing and response. Called Comfort Zone of the Carolinas on a Thursday morning prior to a weekend heat wave; within 60 minutes of my call I had a quote that beat 4 other quotes and the installers were scheduled for the next day. I dont typically review companies like this but I wanted to share my experience with Comfort Zone of the Carolinas and the owner, Jason. Our entire HVAC unit went out the day we moved into our first home, so we were in a bit of a bind. We had several companies come out and provide estimates, and Jason was by far the most thorough and comprehensive. Others were quick to try and take advantage of our situation and didnt do the leg work that Jason did. He was compassionate and understanding, always keeping in mind that we just bought a new home and money was tight. He worked with us to find the best solution at the best price, and did everything he could to schedule a quick installation while we were baking in an 85 degree home. On the day of our installation, Jasons team worked nearly 11 hours through the heat, humidity and a few thunderstorms to ensure that we had our AC up and running before they left. Jason stopped over himself several times to ensure everything was on track and did a fantastic job of explaining all of the work that was being done - as well as the details of financing. I felt comfortable in what would otherwise have been an uncomfortable situation. If you are searching for an HVAC solution in the Rock Hill/Fort Mill/South Charlotte area, I would strongly recommend Jason and Comfort Zone.

Comfort Zone has great customer service! My 3 year old HVAC unit stopped functioning properly. Comfort Zone had a technician at my house with an hour of me calling. The technician, Travis Alexander, diagnosed the problem and replace my dual capacitor in less than 20 mins. We had ice cold air within minutes of the repair. Comfort Zone installed my system few years back and this call was for season check out and cleaning. Jason responded to my call almost instantly and set up appointment and tech. was there exactly when time set and called prior to comming to verify all. This to me is almost un-heard of these days. Allen was great, he let us know what he was going to do and details about the service agreement for cost savings. He inspected all the units and did winter maintenance on the gas heat units.He showed me how to check and clean the split unit filters.He provided a verbal report of the equipment status and reviewed the owner maintenance including frequency of changing the filters.We hope to see him in the Spring for the next maintenance scheduled service.
