Noah did a great job! He was part of the team that replaced my HVAC unit. He was on time and completed the job timely. He made sure the system was operating correctly before he left, made sure we had the warranty paperwork in hand, and said to call if we have any issues with the system. I would recommend this company to anyone needing similar services.

I needed my heatpump fixed due to high utility costs. I contacted AHS and someone from Rapps called and set up a time. They sent James who was really knowledgeable. He didnt understand my issues at first, then I pulled up my home energy report. He knew what the problem was and proceeded to fix it. Not only did he fix the problem but he explained what was going on. I didnt know anything about heating...but he was able to explain where I now feel comfortable and happy. I can tell a difference already. Thank you so much.

Horrible service hold time greater than 40 minutes, came to supposedly fix ac but left out on the job and left the unit a messed.Nobody came to fix the problem or cared. Manager said, that is his technician job not his.

Rapp’s is awesome! Used them to locate a plumbing leak that previous company said didn’t exist - told me I had a leak in my roof. The technician was thorough!! He located and repaired the leak in no time!!! Will definitely use again if needed.

Marshall is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable! Exceptional customer service. He walked me through the potential causes for the plumbing issues before diagnosing it. He was punctual and efficient. Total service time was less than an hour for servicing three bathrooms. And while all of this is great- the icing on the cake was his personality and pleasant smile. I would highly recommend Rapps!

Rapps Technician Ralph was the greatest; he arrived exactly when he said he would. He came in and repaired problems in both bathrooms in less than an hour. He has a wonderful personality and very easy to talk to. He gladly answered any questions I had about plumbing. I would highly recommend Rapps for your plumbing needs! Serviceman arrived on time, was very pleasant, efficient, and neat. Instead of an easy answer he researched the source of the problem and tracked it. Before leaving he checked all faucets in and out to be sure the pressure was right! Cody was certainly not a lazy guy as it was 98 degrees outside! In summary, this company is unprepared, unenthusiastic about customer support, unprofessional, unreliable, unequipped, and unable to fix simple problems that are already diagnosed before they even arrive.When I initially called Rapps, I already knew what the problem was with my heating system. Another technician had come out and identified the problem with the flue pipe, but his company policy would not allow him to go on the roof to fix it. I told Rapps what the problem was and scheduled someone to come fix it. The person who came was unaware of what I had said and did not have the proper equipment to fix it. Reschedule. The next day, the person never showed up during the 8 a.m.-12 p.m. scheduled window. Finally at 6 p.m. he called and said he would be there in an hour! Reschedule. Rinse and repeat for Saturday, but this time I allowed the men to come at 6 p.m. because we really needed the heat fixed. The two clowns that came cut a bunch of holes in my flue pipe, dumped water on the floor in the attic space, incorrectly repaired the exhaust pipe, left a huge mess on the floor, and by the morning, the heat wasnt working again. Reschedule. The next guy that came again had no information on what the problem was and no equipment in his truck to fix it. Reschedule. He came back, fixed the flue pipe in the house, but didnt have the equipment to fix the exhaust on the roof. Made a mess on the floor again. Reschedule. Clowns again, scheduled for 10-2 p.m., called at 5 p.m. to say theyd arrive in 45 minutes. Reschedule. The guy who actually knew how to fix things came back and fixed the exhaust on the roof. If youre counting, that is 5 times that they sent someone to my house, 7 times they were scheduled. During this time, I requested several times to speak to a supervisor or customer service or someone who had any ability to speak to the trouble I was having. I was told each time that someone would call me. No one ever called; no one ever transferred me to someone who could do anything. All I heard was Im just a scheduler, or Im just a technician. Incredibly terrible customer service. Oh yeah, and I paid $450 which is way more than I would have authorized, but we were so worn down by all the reschedules and late arrivals that we just pushed through.

Outstanding service from both the scheduler and the technician. My evolving scheduling needs were accommodated quickly, efficiently, and politely. The technician took extra time to make sure the gas line was safe and everything about the furnace working properly before he left. He also provided some much-appreciated safety recommendations. Working with Rapps was a great service experience, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

This company is a disgrace. If youre having to go through AHS with this company, expect this company to make your problem worse.. never fixing it, but THEY WILL get the payout as if they did the work. I am almost 100 percent sure that the people giving a good star rating, are paying out of pocket, not going through a home warranty. I would rather roast in my non air conditioned home than have this company service anything. Use Black Dog Mechanial, they have wonderful people and have morals!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, WHAT A JOKE!!I seem to be in the same boat with a lot of other people out there. AHS sent these excuses for a plumbing company to my house to fix a simple dripping faucet. I mean it drips just a little now but I realize it will only get worse, so I set an appointment. The plumber comes into my bathroom, takes the handle off the hot water side and tries to unscrew the valve with a pair of channel locks. He says its too tight and he needs to have AHS warranty replacing it in case he breaks it. So hell have to get that covered and schedule another appointment. AHS sends me an email to call them and then tells me the plumber put in his report that my water pressure was too high and the repair could not be covered! He NEVER checked any water pressure!! he was in my bathroom for less than 5 minutes and left. I called them back to see why this was done and the girl that answered the phone told me to have AHS send someone else out for a second opinion although she had no idea why the plumber would state that in their report. I Definitely want a second opinion after reading the reviews on Google!! That was the best advise I could have received, thanks Rapps... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The service that Rapps provided from start to finish exceeded my expectations. All of the representatives were very courteous and professional at every level. The service installers were timely and explained the technical work in laymans terms as they replaced my Hot Water Heater. The technicians identified themselves at the onset, worked in concert with each other to expedite the removal and installation of the Hot Water Heaters and cleaned up after the work was done. Last but not least, both technicians thanked me for my military service as they noticed a USMC plaque on my garage wall. Rapps was assigned to do a repair on a water heater in my attic by my home warranty company. It ended up being a water pipe above the water heater. While the technician was in the attic he slipped and fell thru my ceiling. The fix? He shoved a sheet in the hole and left. Next thing I know, they’ve filed another claim with my home warranty bc they had to “cut an access” in my ceiling to do the repair?? That makes a lot of sense- cutting an access in a ceiling to repair a pipe above a water heater in an attic. Great job leaving me a mess and lying to the home warranty folks!

The technician, Freddy, was excellent! He completed our HVAC inspection and answered additional questions we had. He corrected the airflow settings from the unit to the duct work to help us have a comfortable temperature throughout our home. He went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. Horrible company. Used through American Home Shield. Both times I call had to wait over 50 minutes to speak to a customer service rep. Our hot water heater went out. Once I connect with Rapps the earliest they could visit our home was 5 days out. Plumber was scheduled to arrive from 8-1pm. At 1pm I called and was told I was moved to 12-6pm time slot. Plumber arrived at 4pm stayed 5 minutes. Plumber agrees hot water heater needs replacing. Says its an easy replacement. Simple 50 gallon heater. Next day AHS informs me Rapps has added on equipment to the invoice that will charge me out of pocket $800. What a racket. Stay away from both companies: Rapps and American Home Shield.

They came out after I called American Home Shield and processed an AC claim. Once processing the claim they dispatched a tech named Jason whom came out two days after(Friday) Once he opened up the AC he cut it off with out having me turn my thermostat off which caused my fan in my air handler to cease up. After an hour he called for me and I came down to speak with him. He told me he couldnt get it working and would have to order a new fan and would have it next week. He then told me I had a few mold spores in my air handler and that he offered a solution he would speak to me about when he came back to replace. Then he leaves and I decided to call Carrier(only place to get parts for my AC in area) to see if he had placed the order and when the fan would be in as I had no AC what so ever at all now. They told me he didnt even place an order. Next I waited until Monday called Carrier again and he had still not placed an order. I decided to call Rapps management and he told me he would make sure it was done first thing Tuesday. Magically without an order placed hes at my house on Tuesday with a fan to fix. So I approached him about it and he told me they had it in stock and he didnt have to place an order, I called him out as he lied. He then proceeded to tell me he wouldnt clean any of the mold spores unless I bout an 1100.00 item from him to install in my duct to prevent mold and clean the system. I was furious with him for hes lack of honesty and told him to get my ac working and leave. Its frustrating that he could have made a 10 minute trip on friday to pickup a fan and then 10 minutes more to install but no he wanted to get off early on a friday and so he did. Im pretty sure the delay was due to him buying this mold device over the weekend and trying it to sell it to me( he also let me know it wasnt warranted or sold by rapps just him persoanlly) if you go through AHS Warranty and its dispatched to them good luck.

I dont want my remarks to reflect negatively on the technician who services our furnace (Brian) but communication is a crucial part of customer service and (1) the e-mail we received from Rapps didnt tell us either the technicians name or that we would be serviced by a company called Honesty, (2) the truck driven by the technician didnt have any company logo on it, (3) the technician was wearing a shirt with an Honesty logo. I was concerned at first whether this was legit and only received an explanation after the visit. Also, Rapps never informed me that our warranty/contract had expired and that I would be charged $189.00. All in all, the service visit was fine but the communication was definitely lacking which left me, as the consumer, uncomfortable.

I was very pleased with Rapps Does It All. I was surprised how quickly they responded to my service request. They were able to get a technician out the very next day. Ralph was extremely polite and helpful, explaining exactly what was causing the leak. He had the parts on his truck and the leak was fixed right away. Called to get air repaired on July 4th, they called on Monday(6th) to schedule for the 13th. Tech was late arriving by 2 hours with no call. The problem did not get fixed, thought it was a fuse that he did not have on the truck. He said they would call me to schedule a return visit. I called them the next day, they said the soonest that could get back out was the 20th. They dont even know what the problem is. Wait times are greater than 30 minutes. Very unresponsive. Talked to customer service and asked to talk to a supervisor, they were out. Waiting for a return call. I never write reviews, but so far I am extremely dissatisfied. Going on week 3 without air conditioning with temps in the 90s. Maybe they should not take any more customers until they fix the issues with the current customers.If Zero stars was an option that is what I would have given 0 stars.

We had the unfortunate circumstance of walking in to our garage Friday night only to interrupt our water heater giving up the ghost. In a controlled panic, we did not have a go-to plumber/plumbing company for help but were referred to Rapps by a friend from church who had recently had other plumbing needs. We received a very good quote, followed by prompt delivery and installation of a quality commercial grade water heater (State Industries). The man arrived to perform the service was friendly, patient, and most importantly, he knew what he was doing. Had our old tank removed and the new unit in place and performing in less than two hours. The gentleman has been plumbing for 27 years and was a problem solver and very efficient.Rapps was easy to communicate with from appointment setup through arrival updates the day of service. We received two updates prior to our appointment time updating us on the current location of the plumber and providing an accurate arrival time (his goal was to not give us a big window of time and then keep us tied to the house all day waiting on them). Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the work performed, professionalism, timeliness, and value. If there is another need in the future, we will call Rapps first.

Ralph was amazing! My mother was having issues with her washer drain so Ralph showed up through my home warranty program. She was so impressed with his professionalism, courtesy and patience with her. She is partly blind so he kindly showed her where to find the lint trap and how to clean it. Most home warranty vendors are not very reliable or friendly but Rapps and Ralph were first class! My mother is a happy lady now.

Absolute worst experience ever. I have a home warranty and they were the companys agents. The response was quick so I thought things would go well. However, the first scheduled service call never occurred because the technician never came and never called. We had to call 3 times to get the next called scheduled. This time the technician showed up but said he could not fix the problem and he would need to order a part. Well after two days of no follow up from you, we call again and waited yet another week before another technician showed up (we later found out that the 1st tech quit that same day. Again the tech said he needed to order a part because the other technician had quit and didnt put the part in the system. Never showed again but sent a survey about how we liked their service. This was the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend them to clean my toilet not to mention fix it. Find someone else.

Needed a Rennai tankless water heater installed. Went to the Rennai website and Rapps Does It All was listed as a Rennai Pro. I filled out the contact request and got confirmation that it was sent to Rapps, but they did not respond. A few days later, I called and had to leave a message, still no return call. I then called again and after waiting on hold spoke to someone who said he will connect me to the person who will do the install estimate. He then got back on the line with me and said that person was on a call and would have them call me right back. That was 3 days ago and still no call back. I will also be contacting Rennai about their no response.

If I could give this company a 0, I would. I first encountered this company due to a furnace issue. I have a home warranty, American Home Shield, and this was the only contractor they have a service contract with in the area. Rapps is in a DIFFERENT STATE! They are driving over an hour to diagnose and fix the problem.After they did the initial diagnostic, they needed a new part. They stated they would call and schedule a time to fix the part. No return call, no follow up. 6 months later after calling warranty company, Rapps had stated the ticket was closed and the issue was fixed. My home warranty tried to charge another service fee when they never actually fixed the problem.Issue 2. 4 months later furnace stops working again. They state I need a new unit. I get a call from my home warranty and they state SEVERAL items are not covered under the policy. Confused, due to the fact that if a unit breaks, the company is supposed to replace it. That is the entire purpose of a home warranty. I am told that they will cover the furnace and labor, but there are close to 3k dollars worth of work that isnt covered. Rapps wanted to charge me $400.00 for permits and when I called code enforcement, permits for the county, a permit is only $50, which would cover anything under the roof of the house.Rapps wanted to charge me 2 separate permit fees. Seems like they are over charging the end use in order to get the loss they incur from providing a discounted rate to the home warranty.Buyer BEWARE. These people are crooks.I am contacting local authorities and CFPB and BBB

If I could give this company a zero for their unethical behavior, I would. We had a leak in our pipes and this company came out to fix it. My husband told me one of the reps, Ryan, wanted to cut a hole through our living room wall to access the leak when he could have easily gotten to the leak from the garage. My husband made him access it through the garage and he repaired it. 2 months later, were experiencing another leak in the same area he repaired, and this same rep, Ryan or whatever his name is, called our AHS company and told them our pipes are faulty so it wouldnt be covered under our policy. He fixed it before and I guess the pipes werent faulty then. He also told the AHS his company would replace all of our pipes for $6000! He also told my husband (after speaking to AHS) his company could fix the leak for $225...its all about the money and has nothing to do with faulty pipes!!! Please stay away from this UNETHICAL COMPANY. During this pandemic, its companies like RAPPS that are exploiting homeowners and making as much money as they can to line their pockets! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!

Scheduled time was between 8-12. No one called until after 12. Took tech 2 hours to show up. When he showed up he said the coil was dirty, cleaned it. Less than 24 hours later my AC stopped working again. Technician seemed stoned and out of it. Couldn’t even focus and allegedly he was their best tech. What a joke.

If they are assigned through AHS home warranty company, your equipment will not be fixed. Thermostat controller was broken on our hot water heater but they reported that the vent on top was the issue and that was normal wear and tear and not covered. 2 technicians came out and neither one of them ran a diagnostic test on the temperature controller which was flashing 5 times and this indicates a faulty thermostat. Do not recommend using this company.

Your service technician arrived on time as announced by an advance call. He completed the testing of our heating unit and found it working properly. I asked him to check the dampers on the left hand side of the home because sometimes the temperature on that side was slightly cooler than the other side in the winter. I also asked the technician to check and replace the filter on the unit with one on hand in our attic, which he did.

I am so happy with the service I received from Rapps. The young man who came to replace my MILs faucet (Im sorry I forgot his name) was so kind and patient. I asked him a lot of questions and he was patient enough to answer them all. He also explained to me step by step what he was doing. I purchased my own faucet and the hose was too short. He ran out to Home Depot to get the correct hose I needed. He even cleaned up the mess he made (although I told him I would do it). He went beyond the call of duty in my opinion and he definitely represented the company in the best light. If the owner of the company can see this review please look up my service ticket and give the young man a raise! I will definitely be recommending Rapp to anyone that need a plumber.

Wonderful experience. Kaleb came out after hours and patched us up for the night as good as possible, He explained options clearly, then followed up properly. The 5 star review I am giving is because of Daniel. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He came out for the inspection and to give a quote. The team that was sent by Rapp’s to do the work was just the opposite. I was not happy with the lack of professionalism and rude behavior but I called Daniel who came and saved the day. He assessed everything, went right to work and the job was finished by the specified time that was promised. Daniel came back the following day to re-check everything. He is an asset to this company. I had a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater installed last week. However, I was only getting hot water on both the hot and cold sides. Michael, Brewer can out yesterday and spend over two hours trying to solve the problem. He finally traced all the incoming water lines and discovered that the original contractor had installed a loop system. Upon straightening out the loop the system now works ad designed. Michaels determination and dedication to solve the issue is to be commended. His professionalism is outstanding reflects directly on your company. It has been my pleasure to do business with Rapps.

Rapps was sent out for an HVAC problem through a home warranty program. They were incredible!!! They were very kind on the phone to arrange a most timely appointment and the service repair expert was thorough, professional and most important - HONEST! I have not been so completely impressed with a company in a very long time. I have other plumbing and electrical issues that I certainly hope to deal with them on and I have already given them the highest recommendation - to my best friend who lives in their area. We are both real estate agents and are always being asked for reliable professional companies to refer to - now we have a GREAT company. I had a plumbing call for a leaky kitchen sink and a running toilet. That was in September.The service person was awesome and fixed the issues.My problem happened today, 90 days later when I called because my toilet is running again and I have a $300 water bill. I called and they said they do not cover the repair because it’s past my Home Warranty cutoff of 60 days!Wow... who doesn’t warranty their work for 90 days?Poor customer service.

Unfortunately my hot water heater needed to be replaced. I have a policy through American Home Shield and Rapp’s was sent out to my house. They tried to charge me over $600 to bring my hot water heater up to code (a stand, an expansion tank, etc.). Keep in mind this apparently didn’t include any labor costs or material costs for the hot water heater because that was covered by American Home Shield. I denied them doing the work and brought the hot water heater up to code through a different contractor costing me $175 (materials+labor). Do your research before using these crooks. They are going to try and charge you way too much.

Just a few complaints about this company just to warn you guys what you will be expecting. My sewage backed up in November and they reworked the piping from my house to the street and told me the charge. A few things I was not expecting: 1.) My yard is still torn up and it has been over 2 weeks and they still have not buried anything (told me the inspector needs to inspect it, as far as I know he has not been by but no worries they will be by soon to bury everything). Hopefully the weather had something to do with the delay and the inspector inspected it days after the install but I have no idea. 2.) They didnt tell me they opened an account under my husbands name at a bank called Synchrony Banking to make payments on this work. We tried to close it and just pay the company but that will not work because we now owe a balance to this bank. The price they gave us is not the same price we owe to the bank. Apparently it costs a little extra to open up the account. Just make sure to read the contract before you sign and maybe a little bit of research about the company you are picking. I normally never give reviews about companies but this one took us by surprise because our home insurance selected them.

Had a plumbing repair request in through AHS warranty. Initial response was great. Tech came out within a day. Didnt have the part in his truck (very basic part too). I called 2 days later for update. Was promised call back in 10 min. 2 days later still no call back. Called again. Was promised manager would call. Now 2 more days later no call back. Excuse, tech not answering his phone...For a week? Time to fire the tech. Through all of this they mark the service as complete in the AHS system. Just got off the phone with AHS and they directly told them that the item was fixed but they will re-open the case!! Really? Show up, do nothing, blow off the customer, mark complete and get paid. Great business model if you lack ethics.The best part is that I also inquired about their service plan on HVAC and was going to give them that business on my 3 furnaces/AC units. Not now.

This wonderful experience Ive had with Rapps, is really worth sharing.Last summer, our home AC system just stopped working... I consulted with a different company who told me that it cannot be repaired and that I needed to replace my system at a cost of over $5000! I was really surprised! I sought out hope, looked for another company, which led me to call Rapps Heating, Air and Plumbing.When I called, a very courteous lady named Britney assisted me nicely. She asked very relevant questions, patiently explained to me what I am to expect of their team given my situation, and promptly scheduled me for a visit.And sure enough, they came in no time. Kaleb was the technician in charge of my case, and he was really friendly. After checking out my system, he calmly and patiently explained to me in detailed what was wrong with it, and what he will do to repair it. Yes... he said he can repair it! I was so glad!He just went to his truck for a bit, took what tools and parts he needed, btw...this is so commendable as he already got the parts needed with him. Some companies need to go back to their office after assessment to get needed tools/parts and this may take a lot of time. But not them, i think Britneys probing helped a lot with this. Great job!When he came back in, he went on his way, masterfully fixed our system, and swiftly too. Before I knew it, the AC is back on, and I only shelled out less than $150!I am so satisfied not only with their service but with their pricing as well. Their team was very accommodating, helpful and professional from the start to finish.Its such great experience. Its a really good thing that I called them when I did. Now, I am trusting no one else about our AC/Heating System, but Rapps! I highly recommend them!

This company did not call me to tell me that they would not be able to make it on their scheduled day. Then did not put us as priority when it was their fault of over scheduling. Then when they came out the plumber didn’t have the needed tools and had to come back out and pushed our date out for another two days. This company does not put you as a priority when it’s their mixup or fault. Do not return calls when message is left.

My first encounter with Rapps was what they call, awesome! Todd, the technician, came and had my issues diagnosed in 10 minutes or so. He was courteous and pleasant. He explained what had occurred, what he was going to do, what he did, he replaced a pump, he left no mess...I was enjoying my dogs and barely knew he was here, he created no racket or noise. He told me all about the warranty on the services and how long they were effective. We are cool and the dogs are cool !

Techs who came out were friendly. Air works but they billed me for work they quoted me for they didn’t do: when I approached them they recanted what they said. Chris their manager was rude. Don’t use these guys. You will paying for services you won’t get! I asked for itemized receipt of what they did do and was refused. I got a generic bill. Obviously they didn’t want to give me documents because they know they are wrong. Don’t use!

Absolutely horrible service. They were assigned by AHS home warranty company to fix A malfunctioning tub faucet. Probably a worn out O ring which caused the faucet to leak water when switched to the shower. In the first visit, a plumber came by too a few pictures and said he would have to reach out to the warranty company for approval of work. Says that they might be able to change the mechanism or else have to come in from the neighbors wall to change it the whole system. After hearing no word for over a week, I had to call them we get few days for an update. It was always the party hadnt come in. After 3 weeks, the same plumber came to install the ordered part. My mistake was leaving him alone to do his job, because after 15 mins he said the part didnt work and that he would have to order another part. This was three weeks ago and today was told he had gone on vacation for the week when their customer service rep told me last Friday he would be able to update me today. They are refusing to tell me what the part number they ordered from Ferguson nor is the plumber reaching out to me to update me on ETA on shipping on the part. There is absolutely no communication from the company and send like they dont order parts centrally. There is no organization and no one seems to be in charge since the plumber assigned to this job is entirely unaccountable to anyone in if he completes the job.Call them at your own risk.

I was so impressed with how professional these guys were and they left my yard in better shape than it was before they got here. We called around for some pricing first and these guys were average.
