WOW!!! I mean...wow. Christina and Zaida made my hair look the best its ever looked. My mom and I were in for the weekend out of town and decided to get our hair done. I knew I wanted to try something new with my hair, and both of the stylists were so accommodating and a joy to be around. Everyone at the salon is lovely and they made me feel so pampered and beautiful. If you ever need a blowout or a cut and color while your in Rochester, CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! ITS WORTH IT!

Christina came highly recommended by a friend of mine who suggested Stratagem to me after my former hairdresser passed away. Let me just say that the entire experience from start to finish was superb. The first time with a new hairdresser is usually stressful and you tend to sit on pins & needles, but none of that happened with Christina. She was insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction we would be going with it. The shampoo was relaxing and she really took her time. You had the confidence that she really knows what she is doing from start to finish. She asks the right questions, and went over every inch of my head as she familiarized herself with head shape and hair growth patterns. Afterward, I felt like a new woman when I looked in the mirror. I walked out of there feeling great, sporting red carpet hair. And, as much as I liked my late stylist, I have to say that Christina is perfection. Ive had my hair cut by the crème de crème of hairdressers in Rochester, gone to all of the top salons since the early 2000s, but I have to honestly say Christina and Stratagem get their props from me. A non-intimidating atmosphere, a well run business and stylists that leave you looking better than when you came in: the whole purpose of finding a great salon is feeling comfortable with your stylist. Let me just say that I will be going back to Christina, and I would highly recommend Stratagem to any of my friends. Getting to relax with a glass of wine (freeeeeee) made my whole afternoon. Id put the experience right up there with one indulgent afternoon. Everyone needs to be pampered, and this is the place.

Found out some of the staff/employees do not have proper state licenses to legally be doing work in that salon, which I’ve reported to the BBB and New York’s Department of State NYS Division of Licensing Services. Future possible clients beware.

A large number of the photos (not to mention reviews) on Facebook and the Stratagem website feature the work of Lindsay Reklaitis, who is phenomenal at what she does. However, she is no longer at this salon and the fact that they continue to showcase her work as their own is false advertising and a dirty business tactic. If what you see is what you want, look up Lindsay at Chi Wah Organica in Pittsford. You won’t be disappointed.In response to owner comment:I have decorated cakes professionally, so not only is that claim categorically incorrect, but I take personal offense to it. Marital infidelity is legal, yet most people still consider it morally reprehensible. If your other stylists can recreate those looks, prove it by posting their work.

I utlized Stratagem to update my corporate headshots, logo design and business cards. The graphic designer was very efficient and helped me hone in on exactly what I wanted by having me fill out a thought provoking questionnaire. This enabled the graphic designer to create a logo and design business cards that far exceeded my expectations! For my photography appointment I brought in previous Corporate headshots that I had taken with a different company to show them the image I wanted to portray. The photographers were able to point out to me a few issues that I had not noticed with these images and made suggestions on what to do in their photo session in order to successfully convey my message. When I came back at a later date for my reveal session I was once again blown away by their outstanding quality of work. In business image matters and I cannot thank the team at Stratagem enough for all theyve done. I will definitely utilize their services again!!
