My guy cut my finger pretty bad when taking off my acrylics. I also asked for a pink to blue ombré and I got pink to white. And there is a pretty solid line in the ombré. And some of the nails aren’t the same length and shape. Also only a week later most of the nails started lifting! Not quality work at all. (The blue is what I asked for and the pink is what I got)

The service was great and they were ready for us as soon as we got there (bridal party of ten)! We were in and out relatively quick. BUT on the website it says that the bride’s service is free when there is a bridal party of ten and when I mentioned that in the salon they did NOT honor it. They said it was no longer an option because of COVID-19. I was mad to say the least. Other than that, the product was good but I’m disappointed that they didn’t honor what their website said since that was a main reason we chose the salon in the first place.

I have been in here a total of three times since Ive lived down here (5 years) and each time they disappoint. Tonight my daughter and I went in for pedicures and full sets with an appointment that we waited 20 minutes for available techs. After our pedicures were done they sat and argued for 10 minutes about who was going to do our nails, with the techs not wanting to do them because the store was almost closing. For one, if they would have started our appointment for the scheduled time, we wouldnt have been so close to closing time, and two, if they would have not argued for 10 minutes and not even started our nails, we wouldnt have been there much past their closing time. We ended up walking out without getting our nails done at all. I will not be returning.

Polished is great! I have had my nails done by many people and have not been disappointed ever. They are personable as well.

I paid for a gel pedicure and left over a 20% tip. It chipped on three toes in less than a week. I was disappointed in the customer service. The willingness to stand behind the work and fix the problem was disappointing.

Absolutely rediculous. I took my mom in for a girls day and we were supposed to get mani Pedis, first off I made an appointment, got there early and they still made us wait 15 minutes after our appointment time. The pedicure was fine but when it was time for me to get my fill and my mom her full set they literally argued across the store because no one wanted to do my fill. I left absolutely furious. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful

Went in for a pedicure super basic, quick, and should have been easy. She was cutting me constantly and it even infected my 2 of my toes.

Saw Elsa... really sloppy job. Crooked nails, ignored what I asked for & instead did what she thought looked best...Made them super short even tho I asked her not to & then blamed me.Just not worth it.

I had a regularly manicure in and out 15 minutes. No hand massage, no polish, didn’t push back cuticles. Web page says $20 was charged $22.

I came in for Holographic nails and had so many options to choose from. All the workers were super friendly. I wasnt sure what kind of look I was going for and the lady knew exactly what to do and recommended what would look best. I asked for a tampered square shape, not too square but not coffin and got exactly what I asked for. Im super happy with these and will be returning!

I went to Polished Nail Salon on 7/3/2020 with a friend to have our nails dip powdered. I was told it lasts much longer than gel and is healthier for your nails. The people doing our dip polish were working very fast and finished in barely 30 minutes. The person helping my friend kept hitting the skin around her nails with the sander, causing it to get very red and irritated for the next few days. As of today (7/13/2020) a little over a week later the coating has cracked, chipped off at the ends of my nails and is coming loose near my cuticles. My friend is also experiencing the same issues. I have gone to Polished and tried dip powder before and it definitely lasted far longer than the polish I currently have on. I was told dip powder lasts at least 3 weeks. I’m very disappointed that combined we spent at least $84 ($42 each) on a service that was supposed to last much longer than they have. It’s a waste of money and I will not be going back!

They do a good job and work very efficiently. But I do think the prices are high.

Went with my daughter on 8/14/2020. We had an appointment but she had to wait. I wasnt told up front that the were not doing a message with the manicure and they did not allow for drying time. She smudged her toes on the way out. She is 12 and had a manicure and pedicure. I just had the manicure. It was $56 which seems like a lot for half the service.

My nails LOOKED cute until they fell off less than a week later. They were extremely thin and the polish got dirty a day later. The guy who did my toes interrogated my home life the first time i went and the second time he kept bringing up my romantic life. Definitely not going back, spent $70 for thin full set and a pedicure that chipped a week later.

I went to Polished for a pedicure today (6/13/20) and I am not happy with my experience there. Before deciding to make an appointment I checked their website to see if it said anything about changes they had made due to COVID, and it says that they are only taking appointments and are limiting customers to 5 in the salon at a time, so I was happy that they had a policy in place to maintain social distancing. Well, what’s on their website is a huge lie, because they had 15 customers in the salon while I was there. They are also apparently taking walk-ins because despite having an appointment I had to wait half an hour to get started, and this is not the first time I have had that problem here. I’ve been here a handful of times before and always had to wait at least 15 minutes even with an appointment. I honestly don’t know why I kept going back other than the convenient location, and I don’t understand why so many people seem to love this place so much. I don’t think I’ll be giving them another chance again!

Paid $52 dollars for a fill w/ gel polish and the design that I got chipped the same day, I went in to get it fixed the next day and it chipped again right away on top of it being poorly done.

I had a bad ingrown toenail and they were able to get it out. We will be back.

Was my favorite place, not after today. 60 min for Pedicure and Dip Manicure, you do the math. My Pedicure was over in like 20 minutes and my Dip Manicure was a dip color change. I did not get a manicure, lotion, nothing. I left with my hands dry from soaking in acetone to remove previous dip color and product under my nails. My daughter was with me and they did half her manicure in her pedicure chair. I got charged a fortune. I tipped nice because they were friendly. I will be looking someplace else though for a thorough job that is worth the money.

I went for a pedicure on 6/4/2020. There were no barriers between the pedicure chairs which is not following the guidelines of 6 ft between customers. Most if not all chairs were full when I got there, not sure it met 25% occupancy. They are also charging an additional $2 for services identified as a “COVID” fee. Will not return mainly for the disregard for social distancing.

I got my nails done by the best nail artist ever! I can’t remember her name but she’s from St. Paul and is the one with the koi fish tattoo. She said everyone there makes fun of her for being so slow, but even if she is slow it’s SO worth it because my turned out 50,000 times better than my friends’, who got hers done by Twan (who is also very good!). I always love my nails there and love the service. best salon in rochester.

I love that I can get an appointment when I need one and parking is easy. They offer a range of options and they do a good job on nails.For the pandemic, they require everyone to wash their hands when they come in. They do not allow eating or drinking. They use disposable liners in the pedicure basins and they do not allow drying when its busy. Everyone was masked and I felt safe going on their slow nights (Monday-Tuesday).My one issue is they need some stronger ventilation. Even with a mask on and very few customers at the time, the chemical fumes were bad enough to make my throat sore.

Not bad, not great.. Polished is just “okay”. Truly depends on which nail technician you get! Some are awesome — some make you not want to come back.

I just moved here from the west coast and was in desperate need of getting my nails done. They accepted me as a walk in, very welcoming, too. They showed genuine concern and interest in what my nails looked like and what I wanted them to look like.Its always a nice feeling to know that people care. The customer service was beyond wonderful and I hope to come back many more times!

Have been getting my nails done here since it first opened mainly because of the location. The owner has always been rude and standoffish along half the staff, customer service is clearly not their forte, except with certain customers. I noticed this from the beginning but kept going here because it was convenient. I try to make my appointments with Jennifer because she is the only professional one in that place but today I went in last minute and had my dip re done. The tech was horrible! She kept pulling my arms, cut me like three times, and completely misshaped my nails! When I first started going to this place they took their time but now it’s like a mill, they just take every walk in even at the expense of the customers already booked and/or being serviced.

Let me just start off with, that it is always hard to find a right nail technician! And a good one. I have been doing my nails for years but I half to say James is the BEST! I have had so far!! Not only because he is such a great guy and makes you feel more beautiful about yourself when you leave with a set of nails that are amazing and never! Chip, break or leave a mark let me just add they are my real nails! And top it off he listens to what you want. He is such a artist and I get so many compliments from people because of how well he takes care of my nails and me.This is my 3rd time and I will not go to anyone elsa but James. AMAZING!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. They always quote you a different price on the phone and then when u check out it’s way more and they will argue w/ you and make you pay the higher price. This has happened to me and numerous friends that have gone there.

James is fabulous!! I cannot rave enough about how amazing my nails look. I had the dip with tip. The contour is perfect! Ive been searching for my fit for a nail tech in Rochester, for I kid you not, years. Ive tried going back to the same tech multiple times at other salons in hopes they would learn what I like. First time he blew my mind with service, personality, and final product. Everyone in the salon was extremely friendly and smiling. Great atmosphere and most importantly it was clean. Myself being a hair dresser and trained in nails, they did everything according to state laws and rules. Thank you for the experience!! I will be back as I prebooked my next appointment and I will recommend to everyone who remarks on my nails.

I recently went for a dip manicure. I was hoping for a little relaxation and pampering. Instead, my hands endured a beating. My cuticles were sawed off with the rotating file, resulting in blood. Whatever happened to having your cuticles pushed back? Also, no work was done along the sides of my nails- leaving all of my awful hangnails on display. The sides of some of my nails were filed so aggressively that my nail beds are exposed on four of my fingers. I pulled my hand away and told the nail tech that it hurt, but it did not stop further filing of the spot that was already raw. The aggressive filing of the sides of my nails also left them oddly and unevenly shaped. After all of that, I didnt even receive the relaxing hand/arm rub that I knew as a standard at all other nail salons Ive been to.I had heard nothing but good things about this salon prior to my appointment. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend this salon to any of my friends due to my bad experience.

After a few bad experiences getting pedicures here - completely sub-par, not being careful with sharpened tools, and poorly painted nails from different technicians - I decided to only come back and see one technician with whom I’ve had a good experience. Today I showed up for my appointment and they had double booked me; their only recourse was offering me a pedicure with someone else or coming back a different day. This salon has poor management, doesn’t take your phone number to call you if there is an error like this, and relies on you not wanting to skip your service entirely so they don’t lose business that day. They need to reconsider this approach and train staff to offer better services and put practices in place to show they care more about you returning than making money that day. I understand that errors occur, but when I plan my time around an appointment this is just a disrespectful way to do business. I do not recommend based on several bad experiences in services and dealing with management.

I doubt I’d be back here. The staff was friendly but the tools they used were not taken out of a sterilized bag prior to using them on me, which every other nail salon I’ve been to has. I do not feel they are ready to do “dipped” manicures yet. The tech I had, had issues buffing out the color and it had tiny almost air bubbles underneath when a clear coat was put on (I was told it was because I used green?). After talking to 2-3 other techs, all of which seemed to have their own possible “fix”, they did a layer of the gel manicure polish over my nails which I had agreed but it was more less said to me as this is how we are fixing it. If they were to add another layer of the dipped powder like one of the tech’s suggested my nails would have ended up being very heavy. I do understand people need to learn at some point and I was told I could come back in if they chipped off to get them fixed. The gel started chipping/peeling off at about a week out. With my work schedule I could not just “pop” in to get 4 nails redone. I took time off to get this appointment in. So the last 2.5 weeks my nails were done but really looked like something I could have done. I understand the dipped is a new process but I think if someone isn’t familiar with it they shouldn’t be doing it. This salon is not ready to do them.

I couldnt even get past the woman who answered the phone. I called with questions regarding their pricing. By the end of the conversation the lady who answered the phone clearly laughed at something I said. Being in the service industry myself, I thought maybe I just heard something wrong. I liked the reviews on Google so decided this is where I wanted to get my nails done. I called again to schedule an appointment and the same woman answered the phone and laughed, AGAIN. I was disgusted. If you are in the service industry one should DEFINITELY know how to give customer service.

My wife went and got her nails done here a couple days ago, Overwatch - D.Va nails. Giving the employee a reference picture, she was able to replicate it to a T! Decently priced for the amount of work done!

I am an Esthetician. I am very picky about the services I pay for. I expect great service and results. Although the end result of my pedicure was decent, the process was not so great. The whole thing felt rushed. I had to ask her to get more callous off. The Tech spent a lot of time focusing the massage on my calves and barely touching my feet. Hello? PEDICURE! I actually had to tell her where to massage! One of my daughters nails were painted sloppy and the acrylics were ill fitting. Between the three of us, I spent $100. Im very dissatisfied and will not be spending anymore money here.

They did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicure. I did gel on both and they turned out fabulous, also loved the leg massage with my pedicure. We got reservations and it seems like the best idea, they were busy.

Very disappointed in my manicure. Had nail dip done. Left with patchy work, can see through the color in areas and he left my fingers covered in the old nail dip from removal. And he left specks dust or dirt in the color. I have my own nail dip I usually do my self but decided to treat myself for my birthday and get its done and relax. Not happy at all. Shouldn’t have paid for this work. Waste of money.

The color turned out uneven and patchy. *The individual who checked me out would not give any kind of discount after they saw and admitted that it looked bad. The best ombre nails Ive ever gotten, so smooth!! I went to James and he was super friendly and really took his time to make sure he was gentle on my badly damaged, fragile nail beds. The waiting area and being able to sit down and choose colors and not feel rushed was also a great first impression. Nice place and stellar job on a difficult technique, I will be going here from now on!

DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. I had been going for a couple of months. They do an OK job, but I live in a small town and this is the most convenient salon for me to go to. After a week my gel manicure was chipping terribly! Even as a repeat customer for several months they refused to fix the manicure without a charge. BAD BUSINESS.

Been here several times. The service has severely declined since it opened. It’s a beautiful place and appears to be clean. The staff always seems to be in a rush and they dont do the best job. When I’ve gotten my nails (gel, dip or acrylic) done at least one or two always lift most likely due to using old product and rushing through it. Don’t waste your money for nails that’s don’t last. Staff is not friendly if you go back to get lifted nails fix. I’ve learned my lesson and don’t plan to go back.

Worst manicure and pedicure ever. I reccomened this to my best friends wedding party, big mistake. In the past they have done awesome. They have gone downhill. I had one acrylic nail fix, it turned out wavy, she cut the corners on my natural long nails, they are for sure to break now. Pedicure was horrible, she hacked away my natural toenails and cut one of them. I use acrylic on my toenails because I have an autoimmune disorder, I wanted a full but insisted on taking off my acrylic. Then the polish on the toes was way too thick, after an hour, they still were not dry. They smudged. The other women in the party also had issues. The only one who got a good manicure was the bride, I am sure they did that purposely. They should know everyone in the wedding party is important. I will never reccomend this salon again. I dont have time now to fix my nails before the wedding, extremely disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would.

The worst manicure I have ever had. My nails look ridiculous and the manicurist spent the entire time hitting me. She just smacked the hand she wanted to work on. I have never experienced that before. I paid so I could get out of there and fix what she did. I will never go back.

If you black DO NOT GO TO JAMES ! He is extreamley rude I was actually referred to him and when I met him by his name he the first thing that comes out his mouth is how do you know my name. As if I shouldn’t even say it out loud. I ask him one question about which nail color I should do and he the size since I do type at my job. He immediately stopped and asked me to stop telling him how to do his job. I told him I was just asking since I’m new to getting my nails done. The entire time he was sitting there he was panting hard and saying stuff under his breathe as if he was bothered by the presence of a black woman. After I asked him about the shape of my nails he became even more upset so I left I refuse to have someone who does not like me for absolutely no reason.

I like they speak english and its clean. Everyone is friendly and they do their best to accommodate walks in when possible. I always leave happy.

I have been getting my nails done for over ten years and I have never been so disrespected by someone in the service industry. I went in for pedicure and full set because of my OWN wedding! I tried to call and make an appointment but no one answered so I walked in. The lady at the front desk is AWFUL. I wanted to get gel nails and she literally told me I couldnt because they didnt have the staff, mind you this is a Thursday morning. She is very rude and disrespectful to staff and the customers. The staff are awesome and want to do anything they can to make the customers experience more enjoyable. Sadly the lady at the front desk is miserable and doesnt care about anyones feelings, she ruined the day for me and my 1 friend.

Very disappointed and upset with my experience. Went in for a pedicure, I had asked them to remove an ingrown toe nail that I’ve had reoccurring for a while and they refused to actually paint my nails after removing it. I asked the lady at the front desk for a discount and she wouldn’t give me the one. They are MY nails, they shouldn’t be able to decide if they are or aren’t going to paint them then ask me for a full payment for a pedicure. Never going back. I suggest you don’t either.
