Once my two friends and I were finally all taken back the areas did not look like they were cleaned between clients. The man I had wasn’t very open to ideas I had and was very short with me. He would stop doing my nails and answer the phone to book more clients while I was sitting there. I was okay with this at the time but it now upsets me based off of other things. When he told me to go rinse my hands I came back and there was another client in my chair and he said he was just going to fix one of her acrylic nails and repaint it. I waited a good 15 minutes for him to finish her nails. He didn’t clean after she was there either. My friend was done at this time and showed me her nails. They were not good and she was very unhappy with the outcome. She didn’t want to say anything so I told the man that my friend was very unhappy with the outcome of her nails. He said they looked exactly like the picture and defended the women who did her nails and the store. There was no sense of customer service. The customer seems to always be wrong here. For the rest of my appointment he kept circling back to the fact that we were wrong about the nails. At this point I really didn’t want to tip but when I was paying the man stared at the receipt so I tipped him a few dollars. Based on the other reviews of complaints and the responses the store gives you can see that they do not care about their customers and will always try to defend their store even if they are wrong. Coco nails is the best nail salon in Rochester. One and his team always deliver on both technical quality and artistic design. I am a licensed cosmetologist and this salon is CLEAN. I always feel confident in the services I get here. I have never had to go in for a redo and I am really hard on my nails as a hairstylist. I always book ahead of time and typically don’t wait more than five minutes for my appointment. I will not go anywhere else to have my nails done.

Decided to give this place a try as I had been recommended that they do fun nails. Came in as a walk in and asked if they had time for a pedicure and fill, then mentioned I wanted a new set instead and they asked me to pick a color and someone would be with me. Got my pedicure done and that was fine. The girl asked if I wanted a new set and I said if they had time yes, she said they could do it that it would just be a few and I was okay waiting. She said someone would be back to get me. About 20 minutes went by which I was okay with, and a guy came back and grabbed my stuff and didn’t say anything, didn’t know if I was supposed to follow him or what cause he didn’t even acknowledge me. I began to follow him back to his chair, I sat down and the first thing he told me was “ you need to call next time and not walk in, we are busy” I responded if they didn’t have time they should have just told me that instead of being rude to me! We proceeded to do my nails and I show him a pic of what I wanted he said he couldn’t do what I wanted because for acrylics they only do curved nails? I told him that’s not what I wanted, he got annoyed filed my nails and said okay you’re done! I’ve never had a rude experience like this in my life! Don’t recommend (also there were about 4 other walk ins that came in and they were also able to get in, hope they didn’t experience what I did)

Coco nails nail techs are great at nails but they have terrible customer service. Throughout my time many different nail techs have been on calls while doing my nails or stopped doing my nails to go on their phone. They make no effort to build a relationship with their costumers. They also make a big fuss when asked for a design or the use of many colors, granted I can see that as a big ask but I tip 40%. They also do not perform a full manicure, I recommend not going to coco nails. You should go to polished, or any other place.

The nails are poorly done, didnt get a top or base coat and seemed to be rushing. When I said they didnt look like the picture they did not take the customers side and claimed they looked exactly like the picture and said she had been working there many years. Kind of looks like a child did my nails. The pictures show what i wanted vs how they turned out.

This place is the best. I’ve been to a lot of other nail salons in town but none compare. It was my first time and my nails were done beautifully. 10/10 recommend. Plus their prices are great. Will definitely be back :)

After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try! I walked in as they were opening the shop and was seated in the pedicure chair immediately and she got to work right away. I was super impressed, however as quickly as I got into the chair was as quick as I got out. Their pedicure is not 45 minutes as listed on their Facebook, I was in and out in 20 minutes. I spent more time waiting for my nails to dry than actually getting the pedicure. Very disappointing, will definitely not be going back.

My daughter got her nails done. Dips. Her nails were filed down so thin that her thumb nail cracked over her entire nail. Its so painfil that were doing ibuprofen and Tylenol around the clock, along with ice packs. This store needs to be taking their time and better care of their clients. Im sure my daughter will lose her nail.

Love love the women that work there but the man that answers the phone and greets at the door which I would not consider professional at all is super rude. Wish he could be a little more professional and maybe work on his customer service skills. As a professional myself I like professional feedback.

HORRIBLE !!! I do nails I have a license I just didn’t want to do my own nails this time I wanted something complicated!! And LORRRRDDDD I should’ve listened to the reviews NOTHING WHAT I ASKED FOR he didn’t even listen literally was creating his own set 😂😂 NEVEE GOING BACK and sorry but if I would’ve recorded the unsanitary status of this place they would for sure get FINED with the board !!! They weren’t even cleaning after every client DIRRTTTYYYYY

My first visit to Coco Nails was fantastic. It’s been two weeks since my mani-pedi and both are holding up really well. I opted for gel.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now and i always have great service. My nails are always done to my liking and look great every time. I have never had a acrylic nail break on me after coming here. Highly recommend!

They where very very rude to me. All because i did not show up for my appointment, one time!! my gps took me to another salon and i called to tell them that i was not going to how up. and look what they texted me.

I have been to this place several times. I made an appointment for each visit. The first time I went, I had to wait about 15 minutes for my fill. After having to wait, I swore I wasn’t going to go back but he did a very good job so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I went a couple more times and he did an excellent job both visits. I returned for a fill earlier this week and to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. In addition to one of my nails being crooked, the polish was not providing a full coverage like the swatch showed. I told him I was not happy with the coverage as he was preparing to apply the clear top coat. He just shrugged and continued to apply the clear coat. When he was finished, the last straw was an unexpected price increase. Why would I be okay with paying more than I usually do for nails that I am not happy with?

I had Sam do pedicure. She did such an excellent job. I will definitely go back to her!

I brought my daughter for her birthday as she wanted her nails done; she wanted a full set with regular nail polish not gel which should have cost $40.00. They were over a half hour late getting her into her appointment which ended up taking another 1.5 hrs. When finished I looked at her nails and noticed they were crooked, her fingers were nicked in several spots, they were bumpy, and she had large pcs of acrylic stuck underneath the nail. Then they proceeded to over charge me by an additional $10.00. This place is an absolute joke and will never bring any of my 4 daughters there again.

Poor customer service and very rude. You can have an appointment and when you arrive you will be called a liar and demand you prove with your call log that you called. Constantly answering phone calls and emails. Need a fill before you even leave.

Out of all the years of getting fullsets (over 20 years) they did an exceptional job! My nails are perfect! Literally looks like my own natural nails! Very clean and professional and welcoming environment.. will continue to come for hopefully years to come!! Best nail shop in Rochester hands down! Thank you guys :)

Nails did not get done right the first time and then they charged me when I went to get them fixed. The guy was also rude when I told him I did not need a fill and argued with me. Absolutely never going back. Owner says they grew out in just 2 weeks and Ive NEVER had them look like that from any other place in 2 weeks. Total rip offs.

I went to Coco nails on Saturday to get my nails done. I told the nail tech they were too thick. She didnt respond but kept filing them down. After further examination, I saw they were too thick. I sent Coco Nails a message on IG on Saturday with a video they said to come in on Sunday at 3pm. When I got there the owner was with a customer and he asked me to come up while he was still doing his customers nails.When he looked at them he said its because your nails curve and thats why they are so thickyes my nails do curve but that doesnt mean they have to be thick. If you are looking for a nail salon I dont recommend it. I felt he could have been more professional and just fixed them after I had already sent him a video instead of blaming my nails.Also they dont put the acrylic to the cuticle so it already looks overgrown.

My first time going and not friendly people at all. i got a pedicure and manicure, the lady left me in the chair for almost an hour to do someone else’s nails. someone was finally able to do my nails which came out all different shapes, bumpy, and not what i asked for.

My girls loved this place and was priced right. They will be back.

Oanh is the absolute BEST nail tech in Rochester. I have been getting my nails done by him off and on for 14 years (I moved to Florida) everything is always done perfectly and precisely! His shop is professional and quaint. He is EXTREMELY affordable. Diane is also amazing!!! I highly recommend COCO nails 😁

Coco Nails is the best nail salon in Rochester! One, the owner, takes care to make sure that everyone of his customers are taken care of. He is an amazing nail artist. HIGHLY recommend. I have been seeing One for 5 years. I’ll never go anywhere else again.

I moved from the Twin Cities to Rochester and had to find my new favorite nail place and person. I wasn’t happy with the quality, the creativity, or the finish of my dip nail powder manicures at the place I had been going to in hopes that it would get better. I decided to crowdsource nail salons in a local Facebook group and decided to give One a try at Coco Nails and I am glad I did! One did an excellent job. He was very professional, not overly chatty or completely ignoring me by only talking to his coworkers. My first visit was in August 2020 during the pandemic. The manicure stations at Coco Nails have a divider between the artist/technician and the customer (which my previous location did not.) One explained to me that he has been doing nails here in Rochester for over 17 years. Coco Nails hasn’t been open a long time so all of his products are new and a new type of dip powder.I like unique designs and One delivered. He didn’t use the dip powder to make one of the light glitter designs like I thought he would, but he still achieved the same result! I love my nails and will definitely be going back!

I love this place❤. I have been to several nail salons in Rochester, and was never pleased. I have been to many nail salons and not a single one has ever been able to give me what I want. Coco nails has been beyond every expectation I ever had! Oanh has been the absolute best! He comes up with great new designs and really cares about his clients! I won’t go anywhere else ever again!
