I was able to trade-in my old jewelry, and Barbara helped me create unique and beautiful pieces that matched exactly what I was looking for to fit my dress. 10/10 Recommend! I have a vintage ring that had a broken prong on my main diamond. I stopped in one day to get an estimate to have it repaired. I came in without an appointment and Barbara brought me in and sat me down and spent a considerable amount of time with me. She helped explain that my ring had some integrity concerns and could risk loosing some diamonds on the side. But told me how much it would be to replace just my prongs (I actually had two broken prongs when we looked at it under the microscope!). The price was reasonable and we discussed what it might cost to have the ring refurbished since I wear it a lot (wasn’t sure on exact price until it was sent to another repair jeweler). A couple weeks later I got a call with the price estimate on having it refurbished and was a little more then originally discussed but she was never pushy with the price and gave me time to think on it and was told to call her back. I decided to have it refurbished since I wear it so frequently and she ended up doing a free appraisal for my ring as well. It took a while to get my ring back but when I went to pick it up it looked amazing. Like a brand new ring, I’m so happy with the way it turned out, and gives me a lot of peace of mind that my diamonds won’t just fall out. Very happy I decided to get it refurbished and it was a pleasure to work with Barbara!

We’ve always experienced top notch customer service each time we visit Hight and Randall. 7 years ago when looking at engagement rings, we chose not only to purchase through Hight and Randall because they had a great selection of rings, but also because they were so friendly and knowledgeable. They respected our modest budget and still treated us as VIP customers. Each time I go in to have my ring cleaned, I still feel special even though they know I’m not there to purchase anything at that moment. Recently, my husband needed a new watch battery. I ran around town and dealt with some unpleasant people who told me I should just go to a jeweler. I immediately called Hight and Randall and with no hesitation said they could help me. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a “no problem” attitude...they put a new battery in my husbands watch and I was grateful. I previously used another jeweler for my custom designs but He retired. He recommended we use hight and Randall in the future for cleanings, maintenance of our jewelry and anything custom. I was given my grandmothers diamond from the 1930s in a ring but had never liked the design or the fact that it was yellow gold. I have wanted to get it put into another setting and incorporate some diamond earrings as well as birthstones to make a piece I could hand down for generations. I finally decided to take the leap and decided to call hight and randall to get a price quote and see what they could do for me. Since the first time talking with Barb I felt she was on board with what I wanted to do and would work to get something I was more than happy with. We met several times and I decided to go ahead with the custom design. The price was expensive but not more than I thought it would be with doing something custom. I was willing to pay a fair price for good work. I was in contact with Barb throughout the process and it took awhile to get the ring but that was because of covid. I was also willing to wait for excellent work. I was extremely happy with the result and have a piece I can wear for many years to come and will be passing down. I would recommend this jeweler to anyone. They are extremely friendly, keep very good communication and will work with you to create something you want. My husband will more than likely be getting my anniversary band custom made here as well.

I was referred to Hight & Randall by a recently retired jeweler in Rochester who I had done a little business with a few years ago. My intent was to get my wife, Deb, something special for our fortieth anniversary. The first visit to their store was in early January where I was greeted with a cheerful visit with Randy and a cup of coffee. I explained my purpose with Barbara and Randy and they were very encouraging and spelled out what they could do. By the way, I was quite ignorant about jewelry and they were very patient in explaining what their specialty was. I left feeling confident that I was on the right path.Our anniversary is May 31. In early April, I made an appointment with Barbara and managed to trick Deb into a trip to the store. Barbara and Randy played along with the surprise. By that time I thought about upgrading my wifes original engagement ring. Deb decided that an upgrade was a good idea and an even better idea that she would get to participate in the entire design process. Barbara spent a considerable amount of time that day showing us the possibilities and explaining how it would all work. Deb came home and studied and looked at Pinterest and finally decided on what she wanted. We went back to Barbara and they fine-tuned the design and Hight & Randall went to work.To make a long and exciting story short, due almost exclusively to my procrastination and Covid, our anniversary rushed up on us. However, we were always kept informed of the process so we were not disappointed to miss that date. The day came when the ring was ready. Barbara called me and even volunteered to deliver it to me if I couldnt get to the store before that weekend.Lets just say that this led to yet another welcome surprise for Deb. The ring turned out absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for. Barbara is amazing. She spent so much time and attention making sure that I would be happy with my gems. Went in to get information about a jewelry appraisal. They were extremely professional and told me what all an appraisal would do for me as well as what insurance coverage I should make sure I had. They did not pressure me to use there services. I was very impressed!

I went to Kay, Zales, and a few other stores and none of them were like the service and QUALITY (extra emphasis), I got at Hight & Randall. Honestly, this is the only place in town you need to go! My fiancee and I just got engaged, and I shopped all over town and online in order to find the right ring at the right price. All the chain retail stores in town felt uncomfortable and pushy, but Randy at Hight and Randall was very helpful and I didnt feel pressured at all! Prices were competitive, and while you can generally find the cheapest prices online, you cant beat the experience of buying a ring in person. I will and do recommend Hight and Randall to all my friends and any getting engaged/looking at buying a ring!

My now husband purchased my engagement ring from Hight & Randall over 10 years ago because he had done work for them and found them to be so nice and friendly.Three children later, I needed to have my rings resized and lost it before getting it sized. Barb and Randy still had the plan for my ring and would help me submit a claim to my insurance company.As chance would have it I found my rings in the bottom of our diaper bag 6 months later. I was so excited to find it, I cried. Randy and Barb were just as excited when I brought it in to be resized. My ring looks so great now. I can’t even tell it was resized. I may never take it off.
