Oh my God. This company is terrible. Do not use Casella for trash pick up at you home or business. I left a rose trellis out with my garbage they refused to pick it up unless I pay another $ 25 . I called. Spoke to Courtney She was insistent they do not and will not pick up because they do not recycle so I would have to pay more . I asked for a supervisorResponse “ they are very busy people .. I can’t transfer you to them “. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?This company comes at noon instead of 7-9 am when everyone else on my street gets their trash picked upCourtney has been trained by them. Her rudeness can be excused because that how she was trained .DO NO USE Casella they are horrible … customer service is horrendous .
Had Boon and sons for years and the service was great. Never had to call once.Then here comes Casella raising the prices and picking up the recycling every two weeks.The last two pick ups on the recycling were down right bad picking up half the stuff and leaving(littering) stuff on the ground.So I called and if they had a good supervisor would come out and look.Called a few hours ago and still its out front. If you are going to run a customers type business be accountable.

I used to casella waste services for 6 weeks never once did they pick my trash up on the schedule trash day. I had to call every single week got another story as to why wasnt picked up. They even exchanged out the bins because one said youngblood to 1 that said casella and they still didnt pick it up. Now they wont refund all my money because they said I canceled halfway through the month. And I had to call twice to get a refund which I still havent seen anything. I would never recommend this company to anybody
If I could give this company a zero I would. Cancel them and go with Waste Management. If you stay with Casella you will have problems guaranteed. You’d think something like garbage pickup would be easy but they routinely mess it up by not taking it all, making a mess, skipping houses, etc. Then you get on the phone and the incompetence grows from there. Disgusting company.
Horrible service. Recyclables get picked up every other week and they didn’t even empty them the last 2 times... so we now have a months worth of recyclables My husband called to let them know that they didn’t empty them again and she said that she couldn’t send someone out until Monday (same thing she said last time).. so ANOTHER weeks worth of recyclables while both bins are full. This is ridiculous. Emptying trash/recyclable isn’t rocket science. Get it together!
This is an example of exactly why I did not want to hire a rubbish and recycling company that was not a locally owned company. Im going on my, either 6 or 8 week of My trash got picked up but not my recycling. Can you send somebody out to get my recycling. . The first excuse I got so many weeks ago was Well, it wasnt out last week. . An amazingly theyve found weaker excuses since. Even today I called and they said Oh theyre just running late. .Well, its 1956hrs and my recycling is still not picked up. Are we trying for two full months guys?I know Im a small customer, but people like me add up. Just keep blowing us off and youll be very good for your competitors business. ANY competitor.
Weve been with Boon & Sons for 11 years and VERY happy with their service; since Casella bought them out, NOTHING has improved. Rates have gone up, no more free month if we pay on time, and now recycling only picked up every other week. Whats next?!? My neighbors and I are all looking for a new waste management company. Im furious!
Casella has been nothing but a nightmare since they bought out boon and sons. When they first took over they sent out a letter pre dating it by 2 months that our rate went up and that we would have to make up the difference in the next bill. My garbage tote isn’t completely emptied half the time and now our recycling is only being picked up every other week, which isn’t a big deal, but no one in our neighborhood ever got any sort of notification of this change.
Had them for two months and had to call every other week for them to pick up something. The last time I called three times for them to pick up and the final time they told me it wasn’t out when it had been sitting out for 5 days. Tried to tell me I couldn’t get out of “contract” that I never signed. Glad to be done with them.
Despite all these one star reviews, we love Casellas services. When I called to change addresses for service pick-up, Myria whom I spoke with was as nice as can be on a Monday morning at 9 AM. Thanks for the great customer service!
Absolute worst waste company. Use AL’s at home and casella at my work and they have gotten worse and worse. They don’t pickup the garbage until mid afternoon if at all. We have had to call multiple times with a different excuse every time. They don’t know who the local employees are that we talk to. They promise a pickup and never show up. Avoid them!!
I’ve been stuck out of the country and unable to pay my bill, there answer to me was to charge me $50 extra to reinstate service¿ y’all are blowing it here in Rochester I will return to my old service provider they were a little more understanding
They are horrible! On 10/9/19 at 9:14 there driver drove right by without stopping to empty my 4 yard container. I contacted malory in the rochester office and got no response or call back. Finally gary there local supervisor came out to talk I showed him the time stamped pictures of the driver going right by without stopping and he promised to take care of it. The next day they canceled my service after I took Garys word that it would be handled!So this is what I have to say, this has been a ongoing issue with this company for months! Why doesnt corporate fix the rochester office ? Why lose a great paying customer?why not hire good employees?I even called the corporate office and got hung up on!You have less than a 1 rating out of 5!!!! Listen to your customers before you lose them all which I hope you do!
They are switching to every other week for recycling pick-up. less service and more money. I have one bag of garbage and a tote full of recycling weekly. Ill be finding another local service.
I cant wait until my contract is up with this new company. If your garbage is not in the tote, the lazy employees refuse to pick up the extra material you leave out. God forbid you have a small project and their workers may have to lift a finger to remove the waste. Do yourself a favor and find an alternate company.
I called today to report an issue, the lady i spoke too was very rude!!!!!! Firat of all i never got any notice of the switch over! Amd then because of their mess up i have tp pay $48 to have my garbage picked up that should have been pick up yesterday!!!!!
Have service and they never picked my garbage up until after I call them every time!!! Which is sooo frustrating!!!!!!!
Terrible that you guys are buying up all the smaller companies and then RAISING EVERYONE BILL! Classic abuse of your new customer base!
