* David is an excellent repairman. We highly recommend him
From the moment i searched online for help with my LG washer i had easy step by step help and immediate response with live help. they set me up with a tech for almost next day service. tech diagnosed and remedied washer with parts on hand in his truck within one hour upon arrival. great job people! keep on keeping on!
The technician was wonderful but he did not have the information that I provided to Sears to do the service so I basically paid him to come out for nothing then he had to order the parts I had to wait a week later for the parts parts to be installed I called the office to see if they could get me a sooner appointment and course they said no they did not have any one to send I will never use Sears again the customer service was horrible
Total incompetence in getting a basic quote.
Very rubbish, very bad attitude to answer my phone.
The technician (Eric) showed up early in the window we were given, as we were apparently first on his schedule that morning. He was VERY professional and very personable. He was wearing a mask the entire time of his visit, so there were no concerns on our part relative to any Covid-19 risks. After hearing my description of the issues with our washer, he told me what he THOUGHT the problem was, then he did some on-line checking, and proceeded to reset the programming on our unit, explaining what he was doing every step of the way. Once he had tested it, and it was functioning properly again, he explained that if there were any recurrence of the issue within 90 days, it would be covered. We were very pleased with all aspects of our service from Sears Appliance Repair.
A total nightmare that is still ongoing. Repairman was very late and spent first half hour or so on the phone. We had no call warning us hed be late. He did no work that we could see, left no bill, no details about the needed follow up repair. When I tried to contact him for details I was told we could not speak with the local technicians and that there was no local office. Kevin and Mike at the call center I dealt with were totally useless, to the point of being rude in their ineptness. Everything about dealing with Sears repair services has been horrible. Moments matter?Obviously the customers moments dont matter to Sears.Addition--2 months on, were still waiting for a refund promised back in August. Ive shopped at Sears since my mom was buying me Toughskins jeans as a kid, but never again. Ive never dealt with such incompetence and just plain lying. Some representatives have been helpful but most are clueless. And weve never received a proper bill!
Great communication. Fast work. Professional and resolved all my issues.
This particular service project was complicated - the dishwasher was tiled in, and the necessary replacement parts were not available. The technicians were remarkably professional. capable and persistent. They went out of their way to deal with the tiled in problem while searching for parts many places on the internet, not just in the stock on hand. Im definitely contacting Sears again the next time I need someone reliable.
All employees are wonderful and they are very happy to help ☺️
It was easy from start to finish! The sign up process was clear and responsive. The subsequent communication was perfect - through email/text. And our service repair person was polite, respectful, efficient and informative. I was truly amazed by this whole experience. It was unexpected and stands head and shoulders above other service we have received across a spectrum of items. THANK YOU!!
I scheduled an annual periodic maintenance check-up for both my washer and dryer which is part of my extended service agreement. The technician was prompt, very nice and super-friendly but I was surprised he was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I assumed he would check the machines thoroughly, check belts, and parts that typically wear out frequently, the mother boards and such. He vacuumed the dryer vent and ran a quick no-wash cycle for the washer, telling me I use a little too much detergent because there were some soap bubbles in the water and was done stating that everything was in good shape. He was more interested in how my garage door was operating because that was his specialty as he told me. I will say previous visits, when the work was done by A & E, was much more thorough and I felt a lot better about my equipment being in good shape for the long haul.
I would give them NO stars if this post would let me, because I cant believe what a rip-off this service is. I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator from Sears in 2010. A week ago, I discovered water coming down into my basement and one day later traced the source to a split in my refrigerator water line where it connected to the saddle valve with a compression nut. I called Sears Appliance Repair and was glad to find out they could come out the very next day. I was told that it would be $99. just to show up and evaluate the problem, but that this fee would be included in the full labor cost if I had the repairs done. Once the service technician got there, not only did he not have the parts to do the job (and they knew what the problem was), but that he would have to order not only the hose involved, but an entire kit just to get that one part (total parts, over $55). Added to that would be an additional labor charge of $202, on top of the original $99 assessment fee . TOTAL COST: $385. I told him that was obscene amount and that I would just buy ice cube trays and be done with it.It just so happens, the very next day I had my annual furnace/AC maintenance appointment scheduled. I was telling their service person about my bad experience with Sears, and he said, Let me take a look at it. After seeing the situation, he went out in his truck, brought back three small parts, snipped off the split end of the refrigerator hose, removed the old compression nut and, using the three parts to replace the compression screw on the end of the original refrigerator hose, restored my line as good as new. Total time to do it: 5 minutes. Total cost: $0.You cant tell me that Sears Appliance Repair isnt taking huge advantage of their customers post-sale to reap a huge, unwarranted profit at their expense when they need follow-up service. Its no wonder Sears is losing business. --No Longer a Loyal Customer
Appliance (refrigerator) was not repaired after new parts put in. Had to schedule another appt. Another day missing work. First appt. was canceled 15 minutes prior to end of appt. Another day missing work.
If I could give 0 stars I would. On Saturday my freezer/fridge stopped working and water was everywhere. I was told the tech would be here Tuesday between 1 and 5. He never showed up!! I called at 4:30 to make sure he would be coming and was told they couldnt reach the tech and that he was at my house at 1:36 to 1:42. He was NOT as my house! This fridge is just over 2 years old. With the 5 year warranty, the cost was over $2100. Being a Kenmore, I expected it to last a lot longer. After making calls from 4:30 to 8:30 to see if the tech would come, I was given another appointment for Saturday, a whole week after the problem started. Not happy at all!!
The gentleman who came to fix my dryer was knowledgeable and friendly. He changed the part that needed to be repaired quickly. The only problem was the cost! the website promised a discount for 1st time users and I was NOT given any discount!?
Tire parting from hub. Was resealed last year but parting again this year due to small air leak in either tire and/or hub. Tech made temp. fix to tire to get by for a brief period. Tech had to mail order new wheel {tire with hub}. Received in mail to my address within a few days. Tech returned 1 week from 1st visit to remove old and replace with new.Tech informed me by phone of went he be here each visit. Tech preformed his duties in very good standings. A pleasure to have him working on site.
We had our annual check up on our refrigerator to keep it running right. Our service tech was on time, friendly, and really knew his stuff. Gave our refrigerator a good once over and answered all our questions. All is running fine.
Scott was excellent. Called when he was on his way; arrived precisely on time; worked methodically and efficiently restoring a 20-year old refrigerator to perfect working condition; and left the area spotless when he was done. Very impressed.
Other than the price I thought it was Excellent. The price wasnt a surprise because they had told me ahead that it was going to over $90.00 just to come out. The leaked in the water heater turned out to be a faulty faucet. I actually could have done the repair my self but because the part was nylon I was worried it might break off. The tech was great and did a good job. Very personable and understanding of my position. He had the part in the truck and was able to get the repair done within a hour.
So incredibly easy to book and the delivery window was appreciated. The service technician was great - personable, clean, honest. Im taking one star away for (1) cost of this simple repair, as it was VERY overpriced and (2) the number of reminder texts, which bordered on badgering. Once would have been plenty, twice would have been irritating but acceptable. The number I received (6?) was excessive.
Great .
The guy who did the repairs was really nice and kind. Plus he did an excellent job. Its the outstanding experience that I always receive that makes me proud I renew this service every year.
Our technician was great. He talked me through some of the usage habits we had that could be impacting the treadmill belt loosening over time, and gave suggestions for stabilizing the machine better. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and never condescending.
We got the 3 year service warranty with our refrigerator and microwave. The service was wonderful. The service man was knowledgeable and thorough, also very pleasant.
Brand new refrigerator delivered been three days and still doesnt work. Cant get a tech until another week! Lost a ton of food which they could care less about. Never ever again!! The rep was totally not empathetic and rude. Would like a response please
It was super-fast and totally painless. The repair to my houses Kenmore A/C was done in about a half hour and the price was right. Ive been using Sears Repair for over 30 years and will continue to do so in the future.
The service person, Tom, who did the repair on my snowblower was great. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He had all the parts necessary to properly repair our snowblower. Therefore, the rating I give as a 5-star is for Tom. However, I give 2 Stars to the administration of this service due to their failure to communicate as was promised when I made the appointment. I was promised that I would receive communication the evening before the scheduled date with a more accurate ETA instead of the 9 hour window given when the appointment was made. The customer service person also stated that if I did not get notified the evening prior, then I would receive communication the morning of the appointment. None of this happened and I contacted Sears service and just received lame excuses and a bunch of lip service. That was terrible and unprofessional. Fortunately the service person salvaged the day.
Service personnel arrived on time and got started immediately. Hooked up the battery, changed air filter, did oil change and new oil filter. started engine and lifted lawn mower up with a lift, changed blades and showed me the main belt=drive was quite chewed up and I okayed having the belt replaced. Nxt step was to grease the front and starting the mover, which it did turn over and then he was on a test drive, happy that everything was ready for me. EXCELLENT WORKER AND A POSITIVE PLUS FOR YOUR COMPANY
I arranged my repair appointment and told the representative that the front panel on my dishwasher was not working. I told them it was the same thing that happened less than a year ago when they replaced the front panel. The appointment was within 48 hours. The technician walked in, opened and closed the dishwasher and said I needed a new front panel - but HE DID NOT HAVE ONE WITH HIM! Really?? This was the reason the appointment was scheduled!! The repairman ordered the parts and left - here a total of 5 minutes. The parts were delivered to the house in 2 days, but it was still another full week before the technician was able to return to install the front panel. My problem is Sears knew the issue they were coming to address was the front panel of the dishwasher and they didnt have the part with them. It ended up being 11 days before my dishwasher was working agin, when it should have been just 2 days. The technician should have had the reported broken part with him when he came in the first place.
We would have been happier if we did not have to wait 5 wks for the repairs to be completed and if when calling to the call center we could talk to someone who knew and understood English. We also had to wait for parts to be replaced because the wrong items were sent.
Great job annual inspecting and cleaning our refrigerator. We are good to go for another year
Quick response. Kevin is knowledgeable and answered all questions when checking our refrigerator. Thank you
Great and service and support. they were fast and efficient and gave me good insights on caring for my equipment.
Ive worked with the service techs a few times over the last (5) years and they are always friendly, courteous and knowledgable
Due to an apparent misunderstanding, not all of the work that I wanted done on my lawn tractor was completed, namely replacing the muffler, during my recent service call. Now Sears wants to charge me another service fee to replace the muffler. I will obviously pay for the muffler but I dont feel that I should have to pay for another service fee. The people that I spoke to in customer service were very uncooperative. I am very disappointed.
The tech was awesome and explained so many thing to me. Excellent job
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced and certainly the worst overall experience Ive ever had trying to get service done at my home Ill never use Sears home appliance repair ever again. If you want the run around by customer service reps in the Philippines this is the service for you. If you want emails and automated phone calls telling you you have a scheduled appointment between 1-5 or 8-12 that cant possibly happen b/c the service tech doesnt have your part this is the service for you. If you want to talk to customer service reps that tell you for 3 days to call them when you receive the part to schedule your appointment to only tell you days later the part is being delivered to the technician this is the service for you. If you want to wait 10 days with no dryer and still get the run around this is the service for you. Do yourself a favor and call someone else who has an office and has representatives that live in your city where you can call them directly and not call an 800 number to the Philippines where they really have no idea what is going on. I couldnt even bring myself to yell at these people as they are as blind as you the customer as to what is going on. Youve been warned so dont say you were not told how bad this company is.
The service man was able to fix the fridge door I broke, infact its better than it was before it broke. I also thought the repair was reasonable. I am very happy with Sears services.
Minimal time in checking dehumidifier. for annual checkup. Good job.
The gentleman was very knowledgeable and repaired my dishwasher quickly and well.
As always your technician was polite and new exactly what was wrong and ordered the part have used sears repair service for 30 years the techs are great!
Very professional Repair Man, her did an excellent job with my dryer. Thank you.
The technician did routine maintenance on my machines. He was very polite and explained what he did and what I needed to do to maintain my machines.
All their stores have since closed🤦♀️🙄
Tech was professional, quick and fixed a loose handle when I asked.
Our service man was prompt, courteous and efficient. He went the extra mile by making a seperate trip to pick up a suppliers part that we needed.
Way too expensive - almost a rip-off. Technician literally spent 5 minutes doing repair - no replacement parts involved, then spent 10 minutes on paperwork to generate the bill: total cost $ 172.Something is seriously wrong here...
The repair man was very knowledgeable and helpful. The serve was great thanks.
Extremely frustrating experience! Technician informed us of the parts we could purchase to fix problem on our dishwasher but no sooner charged us for a over sudsing fee. This had nothing to do with our issue. Nothing worse than feeling taken advantage of.
Kevin was very pleasant and did a real nice job!
The service person was efficient and knowledgeable.
Very efficient, professional and effective. I could not be more satisfied!
I wish I could give Zero stars for how dissatisfied I am with the job that was done.Although my dishwasher was fixed, the gentlemen doing the job was late to get to my house for an appointment that was scheduled for 1pm (he got there at nearly 5pm), he was also extremely condescending and rude when explaining to me that parts of the dishwasher needing certain care. The dishwasher was in the house when I bought it, so I was unaware of the age of the unit or service that went into it before I owned the house.I also find it beyond screwed up that he told me he was going to give me a quote on the repair and then went directly into the repair without telling me cost beforehand. When he told me it was going to be $177 dollars (after getting the penny out) to remove a penny from the check valve because that was his flat rate for repair I nearly lost my mind. How can you get away without replacing one part and still charge THAT much money.I will never use Sears Appliance Repair ever again, especially for the cost and how I was essentially conned into the service after only being told I have to replace the hose, Ill get you a quote, I probably dont even have a hose so Ill have to order it.. and then going right into the job without giving me a set solid number and then not replacing one item he mentioned and then finally pulling the penny out.
The technicians were friendly and explained everything they were doing.
Family gone there for years until the closing of sears
Tom was very professional in that he explained my options for the service, was careful to not spill or contaminate the driveway, and made sure I knew of other services offered by Sears.Steve Schultz.
Great! Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
DO NOT USE SEARS! Complete rip off!!
Quick and fast experience!
We were upset to have our dishwasher fail again, but as always, we got someone in on Monday and he handled it all.
Wish thay were staying
Fast service and pleasant service tech!!!
Just Great!
Very good
Fixed on 1st visit.
