Wischmeyers plumbing was fantastic. Luckily they were able to see us the same day to diagnose our plumbing issue. Erik was the tech and he was very good to deal with, he explained everything. Erik did a neat and clean job, and made sure I was happy with the repair before he left. Very pleased and will use them again in the future.

Im perfectly pleased with the service I received from Wischmeyers Plumbing Plus. Paul came out the same day I reported a leak and gave me an estimate for fixing the leak and/or re-plumbing the section of pipes to reduce redundancy and update the pipes. I decided to go with the replacement work. On the scheduled day for the repair/refurb Paul was not available so Eric was sent to do the work. He was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything he planned on doing and did an excellent job! The refurbished section of pipes looks beautiful. Makes me want to replace all the old plumbing in my house! We called after hours when torrential rains clogged the drain in our duplex. The water was getting very high, very quickly, threatening the hot water tanks and heating systems. Joe the owner Johnny and Joey did a wonderful job, installing the plumbing liberty pump and fixtures for a full bathroom basement install at my investment property. The attention to detail was very thorough! from digging out the concrete to backfilling once done, everything was cleaned up nicely once they were done they even took the time out to Straighten up the basement which they didn’t have to do at all but it shows the true character of these guys. We had Paul come out to fix a leak in the basement, hes a very nice man and obviously took pride in his work. I own a golden retriever who I crated prior to his arrival and he asked if he could be let out so he could say hello, which was super sweet of him, as my dog really loves people. When he came back to fix another issue a different day, he had a treat in hand at the front door. Paul offered his opinions on what we could do and what work he thought we might also need done, but did it in a super clear, not sales man way. Like, hey, if you want to be able to use that sink, I can make it work for you, but its definitely optional and not needed.I dont remember the name of the woman I spoke with on the phone, but she was also very nice.Bonus, they arrived within 2-3 hours of me calling them about having a leak, so they also have a very fast response time, which I really appreciated.I would 100% recommend this company and will be using them for my plumbing needs in the future.

They called ahead and gave an accurate time frame for arriving both the first time and the second time as they awaited approval from my landlord and to get our new water heater. Great communication from start to finish. They told us what we needed to hear, not what we wanted to hear, and they didn’t finish the job until the most tedious, troublesome tasks were completed. They even had to purchase a specialty tool to reach a leaky pipe in a nearly impossible to reach location.After they left today, for the first time since we moved in almost a year ago, I was able to take a shower without it turning into bath after 2 minutes.We invited them to move in with us. We called this company at 10 PM on a Tuesday. I went downstairs and found part of our basement flooded. They answered our call right away and someone called us to instruct us how to turn the water line off. The next morning someone was here nice and early and installed us a new water heater with in a couple hours!!! They were amazing! Great prices and friendly and Efficient! Would Deff use them again!

The lateral pipe under our basement floor that leads out to the sewer main line had clogged and we had dealt with an overflow in the basement. There was a good 3-4 inches of standing water when I discovered it. Anyway - a good friend of mine is in the Disaster Recovery business, and he recommended I use Wischmeyers for the plumbing work. I 100% glad that I did. Erik was my plumber, he was on-time, professional, insightful, and informative. We had several small gas leaks from fittings in our basement. Our house was built in the 50s and most the gas plumbing was very outdated and in tight spots. Giovanni and Dan came out and replaced the fittings and some of the piping and fixed the problem. They were quick, friendly, and the price was very fair for the service they performed. Im not a Rochester native, and its unusual to find a contractor here who values their customers and does a great job. The Rochester area has some of the worst contractors Ive ever run into. Five years here and its still hard to find a contractor with any work ethic. Finding a company that shows up and does the work they promised for a fair price is difficult.Wischmeyers Plumbing Plus is an exception. My wife and I discovered them when we needed to replace an old boiler system for our new to us home. We wanted a lot of quotes since it was an expensive upgrade. Patrick was on time with the best quote out of five who showed up, and also the best installation plan. Bigger companies ghosted us when we had questions about their quotes. Some never showed up for their appointments.The work was done professionally and the results were beyond our expectations. In the meantime weve had them over for several other upgrades and repairs. Were loyal to those who treat us right. The work has always been top notch, and the techs have always been great to deal with.The most important thing is they dont disappear when the initial work is done. They honor their warranties without questions or excuses. One project was to replace a basement sink pump. The new Saniflo unit installation looked great, but the pump itself was defective. They replaced it, and the second pump had the same defect. Obviously Saniflows quality control is not what it used to be.They replaced the Saniflo with a Liberty pump that required a fair amount of extra labor that they did under warranty. They could have kept giving us Saniflo replacements or ghosted us, but they stepped up and honored their warranty without any hassles.As an aside, side by side the Liberty pump build quality makes the Saniflo look like a toy. Its also incredibly quiet in comparison. Jon and his apprentice Joey did a great job making sure it was installed right and not just made to fit.Any company can sell you something. Great companies prove their worth when theres a problem. Wischmeyers is our trusted one to call for reliable service at a fair price. They earned our repeat business rather than expected it. Patrick, Giovanni, Erik, Jon and all of the other employees Ive dealt with care about their craft, and we value their commitment.

I called Wischmeyer when the furnace in my apartment wouldn’t turn on and very soon Patrick arrived and within about 30 minutes the furnace was running again. Price was reasonable for a Friday evening as well. I’m having them back soon to clean the apartment furnace as well as the one in my home. I’m glad I called Wischmeyer!

I had a leaking shower liner in my bathroom. These guys came in and did a great job installing my replacement liner and tub. They had a few unexpected obstacles pop up during the job that were out of their control (damaged part showed up/floor not level as expected) and they not only handled it well, but it was all done quickly. Everything was great but I talked to another plumber after the fact minus the $69 fee overcharged me $100. To install my garbage disposal again over 100 than other quote. They quoted 269 where my other new quote is 130! To install two faucets charging 212 each where he is charging only $150 each. Also 70 each to install washer hookup water replacements as well. Great and fast but overall if I had them do everything I would have been charged over extra $400 for the same services. Get ready to open your wallet and be bled dry...

Plumbing Plus has done three major projects for me since last summer. Their work has been excellent and their people extremely competent and friendly. The work has been as varied as replacing sink faucets, removing old and installing two new toilets and cleaning out drains running from gutter downspouts to the back hillside. Plumbing Plus was there for us in our time of crisis! The piping from our shower and sink upstairs failed and we had lots of water coming through the kitchen ceiling. Joe replaced our horribly corroded failed pipe, gave us an honest status report on some of the other piping, and was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. He told us what the problem was and what he was doing at each step, waited for us to test it afterward, and even helped us clean up the rubble from cutting into the ceiling. Its so nice to be able to shower in the house again, and well definitely call Plumbing Plus again for any future issues.

Fantastic service.We had a severely backed up 1st floor (kitchen sink + laundry sink). I was able to call at 8am, they had Joe out to my house by 10, and he was done by 11. Had wishmeyers install a hot water tank. Technician Jordan was great. Gave us his cell number if anything went wrong. We thought their was natural gas leak so we called Jordan next day and he came out again without issue. Turns out the putty seal was emitting odor and their was no leak. Liked them so much we referred father in law to them for new AC. Father in law was extremely happy and they by far have the lowest prices around

(Very impressed) They were very knowledgeable and explained the different types of furnaces and there benefits. We went with a high efficiency furnace. It was installed two days later! My mother’s furnace went south unexpectedly yesterday during single degree temperatures. I turned to Plumbing Plus and I’m glad I did. I explained the issue, that my mother was a senior citizen, they were at the house in 15 minutes. Nick the technician quickly found the problem, the heater exchanger was severely cracked, not only rendering the furnace useless but omitting poisonous carbon monoxide gas throughout the house. I was able to work through Nick and his boss to get a new furnace fully installed, labor and parts, no hidden costs at a budget my mother could afford. Nick and the other technician had the new furnace installed within a few hours. I can’t say enough about how pleased I’m at their service and dedication to the customer. Paid $400 to have two downspouts snaked out only to be told they were broken and would have to be dug up and replaced (which would have been a thousand more and the owner would call me. Ten days later I call them to see whats up. After the first downspout was discovered to be un-snakeable, why even bother to do another? Will not use them again. Ill look for someone who thinks of the customer first and their wallet instead of the owners bottom line.
