Lauren H did my hair and it looks amazing! I had two visits I started off with a dark purple/pink hair color and she did a color correction and got it to a lovely brown just in one day! I came back to get high lights and they look amazing, definitely would recommend Lauren H!

The salon was modern, pretty & clean. However, my sister & I were not satisfied with our blowouts— on the frizzier side with low longevity. They use the method where they roll your hair into a round brush and it sits on your head for a while. No product to hold it either. Left the salon frizzy

It was my first time at this salon for a haircut and although the salon is very clean and looks trendy; the service I received from my stylist was very disappointing. She was not friendly or engaging at all regarding my cut. Her energy was not welcoming at all and almost felt as if I was bothering her. I ended up just not talking because I felt as though she didn’t care to be there or help me at all. I understand people have bad days, but when you are in a line of work where you are having direct contact with customers, you should be somewhat friendly. I don’t think I will be going back.

Very disappointed with the services here. I booked a hair appt for color with Nicolette and drove over an hr for it. Firstly, I had called prior to request a private section and I confirmed that I would do my hair in the makeup section. Once I got there, she had no idea what I was talking about and was unprepared, bad communication b/w employees. Secondly, as she was assessing my hair, she proceeded to tell me how much hair I have, non-stop, like 5+ times and how it would be impossible for her to do it all during my appt. She gave attitude, as if I could do anything about it. Sorry that I have healthy hair? No one suggested a consultation prior to my appt. therefore, I thought my time slot had taken anything into consideration. She took so much time expressing the inconvenience of my hair that she kept mentioning how shes taking time from the appt and basically telling me that she has no more time for me (even though she was the one taking up the time, commenting on my hair nonstop). All hair types should be welcomed happily and it instead of complaining about a clients hair, rather complement them on how healthy it is.

Stephanie was such an amazing hair dresser. Friendly, bubbly and very knowledgeable in her craft. Salon Bliss is clean, well-managed, offers great services and has a wide hair care retail section.

My wife had bad experience with Sofia. This is what she said. She went for styling only. Sofia was rushing, didnt really care about what I needed. I had to redo my hair style myself. I told her that I am going to the wedding. Her attitude was not professional at all. She was even rude with me. I would not suggest to go to this salon or specially use Sofiia as a stylist.

They are following every COVID precaution, have barriers up, and are distancing their clients. I feel very safe coming here! As a brunette, it has always been difficult having little to no dimension in my hair. Alaina is amazing at her job and makes my hair look fabulous with the added color for dimension, while maintaining a very natural look! Highly recommend!

I had a fabulous experience on my wedding day. My hair turned out exactly how I envisioned, they even used the crystal hair piece I brought in. They did my hair and makeup for my reception. I came in mid day, after my morning ceremony, with limited time to transform my morning look and they nailed it! I would absolutely recommend this salon. They were affordable, welcoming and flexible with my hectic wedding schedule.

Do not go here, especially for your nails! I had gel nail extensions done that were suppose to look more natural then the acrylic tips. Looked worse then putting on fake glue on nails... I visited many different nail salons but never coming here AGAIN for a manicure.

Ive been getting my haircut with a stylist name Lisa for a couple years now and every time I go (which is bi-weekly) Im always impressed with the cleanliness and welcoming nature of the staff. Its hard when you try a new place for the first time, but I was beyond happy with my experience and I wont go anywhere else : ) Thank you Lisa and all of the Salon Bliss staff!

She is the sweetest with my daughter too, who is a nightmare when it comes to brushing and styling her hair. Salon bliss looked like a nice busy salon. i have thick curly hair and i called them and asked if anyone worked with curly hair, and they recommend marcella for me. she was sooo amazing!! i love my haircut and she blow dried and styled it so nicely. she was soo sweet and caring. she is now my go to person and i am happy i found her!!!

Specifically asked not to cut front sides and was completely ignored as always. Why cant they just do as asked? All I can think is I know whats better like Im not allowed my own preference. Why cant I find a steady place, you ask? Because I cant find one that will do what I ask.

Went in to get a color done and they wouldn’t do it cuz I had some breakage. Even tho I told her I have had this problem Since 7th grade, I have a thyroid problem so my hair falls out and breaks. I have had my hair colored before even here with Nina and she did an amazing job no problems, I understand what can happen if they over process it but I have only processed my hair once this whole year. So she told me no and to come back when my hair is healthier. Which will never happen cuz I have medical problems. Big waste of time after they shuffled me around to two different stylists cuz the first one only did natural colors. Very disappointed I used to drop a lot of money here, always tipped 30 percent. Very disappointed honestly seemed like they just didn’t didn’t feel like doing it. I’ve recommended many people here cuz of my services with Nina, not any more will I do that nor be back.

Great place very professional staff. I’ve seen multiple people there because my schedule is always changing and I need a cut at the last minute. They were all awesome!

After being on time for my daughters appointment she waited 20 mins before being told they wouldn’t be able to see her because of a double booking schedule issue. At her appointment the next day they charged $300 to my debit card when I left my numbers with the receptionist to cover my daughters bill. I feel like I’ve been robbed. Lesson learned this is not a trustworthy establishment. Not worth it!

Salon Bliss is top notch. It has great quality service, friendly staff, and also the wait time is very reasonable too. I have no complaints about this place. I would definitely recommend this place for people. I have nothing at all to criticize and it has been absolutely perfect. I feel like I am treated like a family there. I recently moved to Michigan and it was my first haircut here, which also means it was my first time at Salon Bliss (Rochester Hills).Mariella Cavataio did my hair yesterday. She was not only a great stylist as she advised a lot of great options, but also was very patient throughout. I highly recommend her.She’s definitely my go to stylist from now onwards.

I hate to put a bad review on this place cause they have a fantastic location and the place looks nice but my experience with them has been quite annoying. I went in to do a dark blonde ombre on my hair. I told the hairdresser i was not worried to be aggressive on my hair since my goal is to eventually go for a pixie cut. At the end of the first session my hair became a mix of red and blond and she asked me if I wanted to color them with a toner to give a more homogenous look but i refused to do it and told her that I didnt mind the outcome. Also it didnt make sense to bleach my hair and then make them darker. After 3 weeks i had a new appointment, when i came in i told her that i noticed she was doing highlights rather than the ombre and I asked her why was she bleaching only few layers of my hair rather than the entire bottom part as we agreed at the beginning and she said this was better so i would get more dimension (?)so we kept going on with highlights. At the end of the session we went for the hair wash and i didnt even get a chance to see how my hair looked like. She started pressuring me into doing a toner. I explained to her that i didnt mind having a red color (which she apparently found horrible in her opinion) and that I definitely didnt want to go a tone darker than what i had achieved with bleach so far. I told her that i had seen these intermediate phases in my friend as well and that i was not worried about the outcome. So i asked her to give me time to go back to the mirror and see how my hair were looking like so that i could decide for myself if i liked the new color or not but I literally couldnt. She didnt let me get away from the sink and her argument was that I had to do a toner and that it was not going to make my hair darker. She said that hair looked red and didnt look good and if someone asked me who did my hair it would look bad on salon bliss which is something i completely didnt understand. In my opinion a hair dresser should worry about what i think of my hair more than what others might think of them? Plus I am the person that will talk about the job that has been done, if i am not satisfied i will probably tell people i didnt like Salon Bliss so i really didnt get her view of the situation. She was literally acting out of her fears. On top of that, while she was trying to convince me to do the toner she also added that I should go straight for a pixie cut and give up trying to get to a blonde cause it wasnt going to happen. :O I didnt like that either and i told her that i didnt think my hair were going to fall off as she was predicting and Ive seen my friend do it in around 4 sessions (and she is still not bald in spite of having henna and even thinner hair than i do).Anyways, long story short, because i was not letting her do the toner until i saw my hair, she offered to do it for free with the guarantee that i was not going to lose the lighter color. We went back to the mirror and she started to dry my hair but as soon as she started i noticed that all of the highlights I had before were gone and my hair were of course a darkish brown! I could barely see highlights so I immediately stopped her and told her that my hair were basically back to where they were before i did my first highlights (supposed to be ombre btw)! She looked at me and said what do you want me to do? and i didnt know what to answer. When i finally went to pay she charged me $150 (which is full price considering i didnt do the haircut). I left the place being extremely upset about the entire experience and the carelessness at the end of it. I would have appreciated if the hairdresser proposed to make it right or at least not make me pay the full price like if nothing happened. I never tried haircut other than the basic one i got during my first highlights so i dont want to judge the skills of those who do haircuts there without trying first but this is my experience with color. :(

Jeanette is an amazing stylist and colorist. She took me from a dark brunette to a platinum blonde pixie and Ive never gotten more compliments! Im always recommending Salon Bliss and my favorite stylist.

I went to Salon Bliss for the first time this past weekend. I was so impressed! I had Daniela and she was so kind and totally knew exactly what I wanted and needed for my hair. I felt very comfortable and she gave me a really beautiful cut! I cant wait to go back for color.

Great salon, always have a pleasant experience. Ive seen several different techs for both hair cut/style and waxing and they have all provided exceptional, friendly service. They do tend to be busy often so make sure to call ahead and schedule.

Left the salon with copper roots and green/grey highlights. They were willing to correct it so I went back. The stylist tried to cover the copper color how she was unsuccessful, she was able to remove the green. I was attempting to achieve a dark blond with highlights.I still am so unhappy with my hair. I have tried to call twice to speak to a manager and the owner. No one has returned my calls.Don’t go here!!!! They are over priced and do a terrible job!

The lady that did my eyebrows was good and friendly but my brother asked his stylist 3x for a fade and she couldnt do it. Then she left 14sec after she told him she was done...his head looked like a square!

Salon Bliss is the very best! I just recently got married and their wedding team handled both my hair and make-up, as well as hair and make-up for 11 bridesmaids, the MOB and MOG! Their team went above and beyond in every aspect, and all of the ladies in my wedding looked absolutely stunning. I could not have asked for a better overall experience!Leading up to our big day, I worked with Sarah, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. She put a schedule in place for the day-of, planned my bridal trials, and answered any and all questions I sent to her along the way.Then, on the day-of, both the hair and make-up teams (led by Ashton and Lydia) just knocked it out of the park! With 14 different ladies getting beautified, they still managed to complete our appointments ahead of schedule, and everyone looked gorgeous. I heard from many of my bridesmaids that this was the best theyd ever had their hair or make-up done (as weve all been in several weddings by now), and there were many compliments to the Salon Bliss team.Thanks for helping glam us up for my wedding, Salon Bliss! 2 days before my wedding I got a metal headband stuck in my hair. I called bliss in Shear panic and they got me right in! It took 6 hours and the entire bliss staff to work on getting it out by they did it!!! I wasnt a bald bride and my hair looked amazing.Cant thank everyone enough! Highly recommend salon bliss!

Extremely disappointed. After researching salons online, picked Salon Bliss due to positive reviews and emphasis on training. Unfortunately, after specifically scheduling an appointment for purple highlights... I arrived at the appointment to have the stylist (while warm and friendly) immediately start telling me all the things “wrong” with the way my appointment was scheduled. 1. I should have been booked for a consultation first to discuss process, time requirements, and cost. (How would I know that being a NEW customer. And that was the perfect opportunity to discuss cost which she didn’t). 2. Purple highlights are a two step process and would take longer than I was scheduled for. (Aren’t MOST highlights a two step process; lift color and then deposit??) 3. She was booked all day so wouldn’t have time to rinse, dry, or style me. (I was fine with someone else rinsing me and as to not be an inconvenience...because at this point I was starting to feel like one....I declined to be dry and styled since I was just going home.) 4. When I explained I wanted HIGHLIGHTS not ALLOVER color. I was told the would be “really hard” (her words). I stated all least THREE times that I did not want allover color.Long story short...I left the salon with ALLOVER purple color, a wet head, and it cost me TWICE AS MUCH as highlights were listed on the website. I spent $150+ for the exact look I didn’t want with very little service. I could have done allover color and dried and styled my hair at home for about $15 (using salon quality color)!! Needless to say. I won’t be back.

I have been going there for over 5 years, never had a problem until today and it was enough of a problem to make me NEVER go back or recommend this place to any one ever. My roots are grown out, I just wanted color and cut which Ive had 1000 times before, got Kristina, she had a serious attitude from the get go but I said to myself oh well, we all have bad days, then low and behold all of a sudden she didnt have time to do my hair. I was ready to spend good money with a generous tip but I will NEVER EVER go back there! Update: Went to a salon literally right down the road, told them what happened and they got me in RIGHT away, they couldnt believe it, took them the SAME amount of time for what they had me scheduled for at Salon Bliss AND they did a better job than Ive had done at Bliss the last few times Ive been. Sabrinas Salon is where I would recommend you go before spending your hard earned money on these ungrateful employees at Bliss. Wonder what would happen at my work if I told a client i dont have time for them today when they were on the schedule.....hmmmm.

First things first, if I could give a 0 star review I would... Now onto why, I went into the salon to make an appointment for two simple braids that would last me through my short vacation. I showed the girls at the front desk a picture of what I wanted, same pictures as I showed the stylist and they set me up with someone who they said could braid hair. When I arrived at the salon for my appointment I showed the stylist a couple of reference pictures and the stylist said it would be no problem.... After my appointment I left the salon devastated and on the verge of tears because of how horrible they turned out and in pain from how hard Bobby pins were shoved into my head for nearly fifteen minutes as she tried to tuck in stray hairs. My hair looked like a rats nest rubberbanded. Having had my hair braided plenty of times throughout my life by my mom, no braids with stray hairs sticking out and not a single one of those times requiring any Bobby pins let alone the nearly 40 Bobby pins the stylist shoved into my head, I am incredibly disappointed with how these turned out at a professional salon. I will not be returning to this salon and sadly won’t be getting the money back that I wasted.

I am obsessed with my color and cut every time I leave the salon thanks to the help of my main gal Nina @ Salon Bliss!!! I have stood up in multiple weddings who have booked our make up and hair up dos with the stylists there and have always been very pleased!!!! They even traveled onsite to one of the weddings I was in and showed up on time ready to beautify us all!! Their entire staff is always happy and available to help at any moment with anything one would need! I could go on and on about how excellent Salon Bliss is!!! Every visit is amazing!!! The first time when i went there it was an okay experience. I somehow feel the place is very racist. I have seen stylists talking and building a good rapport, general conversations with the clients/customers being very friendly. But when i went in none spoke a word. I tried to have a conversation and the lady was just saying yes,mmhmm, okay . I was really unhappy. Am very particular about customer service. Rather than the service they give. This place is just 4-5 mins away from my house so i wanted streaks(highlights, split ends trim and a good bangs cut” there was this guy who spoke good with me but spoiled my hair i guess for auburn red hightlights and he put copper blonde i looked horrible with the color and hair cut he has dobe . I asked him or mentioned way before that i need my split ends to be trimmed but it got worse after his hair cut and highlights.... hated it. I had to buy a color from a store to change it. They said it takes only 90-120$ for casual hair cut and partial highlights. But they billed me for 170$ for what? God knows... all the women there are a big racists. I would never go back... i still feel i have waste so much money i would have got a designer hair cut for that money. Am giving 2 stars for the 1st time experience.
