For the past 15 years I have used clippers at home to cut my hair short. Since the pandemic, I decided to let it grow. There is still not much on top but my wife like the hair I have. It was getting long I decided to go to a barber. I found Muhaimens shop and saw the reviews. While we are still dealing with covid, safety was a high concern. Muhaimens shop is clean and customers and Muhaimen showed respect for others by wearing masks, When it was my turn in the chair, I realized he does not take cards, only cash. I explained I had no cash and would come back. Muhaimen insisted that I sit in the chair for a haircut. He kept calling me friend and said I could pay him some other time. This was very much appreciated and not lost on the two teens waiting for their turn in the chair. I got a wonderful haircut and listened to Muhaimen tell stories as Barbers do. Since this was my first time at a Barbers in 15 years, it was like old times. I enjoyed the conversation and the respect that Muhaimen showed me. I was able to get cash and return to the shop. I do not know how many more haircuts I will need in the future but they will be had at Muhaimens Barber Shop !!!!!!!!!

Visited this barbershop about 3-4 weeks ago, and my cut still looks great! I normally put gel in my hair, but the cut was so good, no need. He can do fades, undercuts, pompadours, and almost anything. Just go, you won’t regret!Experience: When he was cutting my hair, his clippers felt like they were just gliding over my head. Then he took scissors, same thing. Felt effortless and smooth. It’s like he was painting or something... Anyways, definitely going back.***Make sure you call him. That way you don’t end up waiting. I had an appointment and walk-ins kept coming in. He told them it would be awhile and people waited.

Great experience. Courteous barber who knows his stuff. He gave me the same style I usually get but cut/thinned my hair so that I dont need to put product in and it looks great, which is super convenient not having to wear a hat all the time.

I was visiting Richmond, VA from Boston during Christmas break and I randomly found Muhaimens Barber Shop on google maps. Had to wait a bit since I did not call before going and he was very busy, next time I will make sure to call in advance.I had the best haircut I have ever had since when I am in the US. Will go there again next year. Strongly recommended.

Ive been to Muhaimens a couple of times and not only does he do a great job (I typically just get a quick buzz, but he takes his time and refines the edges well), but hes also quite the hilarious guy. Makes you feel like a regular as soon as you walk in. Hes a very hard working man; I always see him beautifying the shaggy whenever I pass the shop, even late into the evening, as another has mentioned.

As a African American male. This man clearly did not understand how to cut my hair. It was a 7 minute cut for $20. He is not engaging and did not really seem to know how to cut my hair. Not going again!

Didnt believe the hype at first. However, I asked Mr. Muhaimen for a haircut, and he gave me a better version of what I asked for. Its developed well over 2 weeks, and Ill be returning in the coming weeks.I have never seen someone work so quickly but with such high quality on my hair. Ive gotten my hair cut here a few times. Twice by Tamara, and once by Frank. Tamara is friendly and experienced and gave me two good cuts.Frank however has no clue what he is doing and completely botched my haircut. He took a chunk right out of the front of my hair. It was like he was just chopping randomly with the scissors. It was so bad I had to go back and get my money back so I could get it fixed.Frank told me I should really let him keep $10 of the $20 I gave him because he got half the haircut right... Im not making this up.I had to go to William Byrds Barber shop to get it fixed. A barber there named John was very nice and did a very good job of making it less noticeable and didnt even charge me. So Ill be getting my hair cut at William Byrds from now on.

I used to go to chain barber shops, but today the line was too long. As I was driving home I noticed Ahmeds place so I decided to stop. Ahmed did an excellent job with my haircut and beard.
