This place was exceptional. The proprietor is welcoming and friendly, eager, in fact, to give you a great haircut. He is a local guy so you will be comfortable talking about the neighborhood or current events. Reasonably priced for the market, The Master Barber can keep you entertained snipping your hair (and beard) and not clipping your wallet. I look forward to my next visit!

His first cut was a different approach and resulted in a renewed appearance. I always thought my hair looked nice, and told likewise. And yet, Karls cut and style is what will make me return. Great place to get your haircut

Today was my first time ever going to Karl’s and I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. Haircut was just how I wanted and the atmosphere is great. Karl is very nice!

Possibly the best haircut Ive had. Karl and Rhonda take such good care, and are extremely detailed with the work you do. Absolutely love the strait razor line up after every haircut. Absolutely recommended. Great price too!

The one time I showed up to this place and it was open, it was an excellent experience.The reason this review is three stars is that I have been to this barber shop at least five times and it’s been closed every time. After that many times, it becomes discouraging. This place is right down the street from my house, so I had hoped it would become my go-to.I don’t think it’s reasonable to have to take time off work to get a haircut. You should be able to get a haircut at 5:30 on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, for example. Before and following major holidays though, this place is usually closed for a number of days that other shops are open.This isn’t the fault of this barber shop really - there’s an overall dearth of barber shops in this neighborhood. There’s money to be made here: I tip extremely well. I’m confused why no one seems to want my money.

Omg!! My husband just came back with my boys cut and I will say this, this is not a place for black ppl in my opinion .2nd DO NOT under any circumstances let the female cut your hair if he wants to keep his business he would let her take a training course..and worst of all a child cut was $19 outrages definitely not worth it. I truly wished I listened to the reviews and kept it moving.#lesson learned#regret
