I’ve always had such a great experience at this salon and the last two times with Mandy were no exception. She knows what she’s doing and does it very well! She’s easy to relate to, smart and genuinely nice. I showed her pics of what I hoped to accomplish and she did it. The ladies at the front were also very nice upon check in and at check out. I was even walked out to my vehicle by an associate with an umbrella in the pouring rain. So awesome! Also sanitation during COVID times seems really consistent. I literally watched Mandy sanitize the shampoo station wash basin and chair after I got up. The prices compared to other states I’ve lived in are very reasonable as well!

I am giving one star because I have no other option. But trust me this place don’t deserve any. Went there for a hair cut and highlights took a picture of what I wanted. The lady was rude at times seemed mad! Long story short walked out of there paying $236.00 extremely unsatisfied. The lady don’t know how to cut hair and even less give color. Callad to talk to the manager and surprise, surprise! She was unavailable. Not calling back and don’t recommend this place to my worse enemy! THEY ARE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Started coming here a few months ago for Swedish massages. Ive seen Pam every time and she is wonderful! Also love the atmosphere of the spa side, I havent been over to the salon side much. Definitely recommend!

Never again. I have been a customer for several years and watched the rapid decline in quality of services through the years. Turnover is extremely high in this place, so don’t dream of picking the same person again every few months. Prices went up, rapidly, which will be fine, if the services they provide are worth the higher prices, but they aren’t. My friend didn’t even get her hair styled, not to mention hair dryer was never used or even offered. Excuse me? This is what you charge $50+ for? I wanted my hair cut 3 inches and got only less than half of that cut. I left the salon looking the exact same way and that cost me $60. Not to mention tipping is charged separately and the women at the reception desk are borderline rude. Bad customer service, bad haircuts, overpriced and just overall bad experience. Too bad, because this used to be a great place to get a haircut 4 years ago. Not anymore.

I have been going every 3 months for almost a year now seeing Mik and ite a pleasant experience every time!!! All the staff I have come into contact with are very professional and friendly. The place is clean and very well lit and decorated. Mik is hands done one of the best massage therapists I have ever worked with!! Overall, great experience every time!

I went here two months ago for a full highlight. When I got there the stylist suggested only a partial bc “no one will see the underside” and I mentioned that I was really hoping to be lighter over all, so assumed she was just going to do a full. As she was going I was mentally questioning “is she doing a full?” Bc it seemed like she wasn’t. I didn’t speak up bc I honestly just thought oh well, I guess it will be cheaper and maybe she misunderstood me or maybe she is doing a full. So when I went to pay, she told the cashier she had done a “haircut and full highlights”. To which I thought okay maybe she did. I hadn’t colored my hair in the last two years, so just thought maybe I was confused by what was done.When I went home, I still kept questioning it but just pushed it out of my head bc I didn’t want to think the stylist would lie about it. Then today, I just got my haircut at a different salon, and asked the stylist there about highlighting and whether she’d recommend a full or partial. She said “well see this back part, you clearly only had a partial done last time, so I’d recommend getting a full to cover it all”. So now I’m certain the stylist at lavender lied…as she only did a partial, and then told the cashier to charge me for a full. Never going here again.

This is my 3rd visit to Lavender Hill SpaSalon.I have gotten 2 mommy to be massages and one time prior to being pregnant. The service is great. Only thing recommended for next time is for the noise to be down as well as the soothing music in the room working. I’m sure that since the music wasn’t working caused myself and massage lady to hear the from outside closed door. Other than that 5 star rating!:)

I just have to brag about my appointment with Mandi today at Lavender Hill!! I love Aveda products and decided to try them again after a few years. So beyond happy that I did! I had Mandi as a stylist and let me just say that she is amazing! I will continue to use her as long as she is around richmond hill! Customer service was very nice!

Nice experience getting my hair cut. Was able to get my hair cut the way I wanted. Been looking for a place like this since I moved to Richmond Hill in July of 2020. Super pleased with the results. Ill be back to take advantage of some of their salon packages soon.

I went to lavender hill seeking a Stylist who understood my hair. I have extremely kinky curly mixed hair and have had a lot of difficulty finding someone who understood not only how to cut curly hair but also more difficult to find someone who was knowledgeable on how to style and which products to use. After telling the receptionist what I was looking for I was paired with Mandi. Let me tell you I am so grateful for Mandi. She has taught me so much about my own hair that I didn’t know. She helped me find products that work best for my hair, and gave me a cut that was so flattering and was easy to style. A curly haired girls dream. She also colors my hair and I am always, always Satisfied. I highly recommend Mandi for all your hair Care needs!!! She also gets Bonus points for always making me laugh. She is a hoot and conversation is never dull😊

Great spot, really lovely building. Love my haircut. 4 stars because they are not taking fill advantage of their space for cutting hair. All the chairs at one quad where being used when there could have been more space by utilizing other stations to make it so every other station was occupied.

They did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for prom. She came up with her own idea from the pictures I showed her. Their entire staff was really nice. I was worried my hair and makeup wouldnt turn out well, but now I believe theyre all very skilled.

Wonderful full service salon. My stylist, Jessica, really took her time with my difficult hair and gave me a great cut and color. She explained how to maintain the style at home and how to use the recommended products. The people at the front desk were fantastic as well, they were able to order a lip gloss that they were out of for me and were so nice about it. I highly recommend this place.

I went in for a consultation for balayage and hair cut. I am biracial. I have curly, wavy hair. The first stylist repeatedly said She doesnt do my type of hair, but maybe I can find someone that does. Eventually, she finds a stylist that specializes in curly hair. This stylist was just as rude and treated my hair like it was the worst thing she ever seen. I left the appointment feeling like my hair was unmanageable and really bad. They called me back to say that my hair cant take the color because previous coloring (ok that makes sense giving the benefit of the doubt). BUT when I asked for at least a cut, they said she will call me back they are full. They never called me back. As a woman of color, I have NEVER been treated like this. I have been to multiple Aveda salons and never treated like this. I decided to try 40 Volume Salon and had the BEST experience. She had my curls looking beautiful in that one session. I wouldnt recommend this Lavendar Hill salon to ANYONE. And I definitely let all military spouses know how they treat people of color. Be mindful where you spend your money.RESPONSE: (I am not sure how else to respond to you on this platform) My appointment was set under my current last name. Unfortunately, had such a bad experience I wouldnt feel comfortable coming back to your salon after my last interaction.

Just had my second shellac manicure with Alex. I am beyond happy with the service, the quality, and the look of my manicure. I had just about given up on having my nails professionally done. Ive tried acrylic, gel, SNS and every time my nails are damaged for months on end. I decided to give shellac a try and Im super glad I did! Alex is so meticulous and detailed in her work. My nails have never looked better or healthier. Alex is so knowledgeable about the process and products. I told her what I wanted in a color and she recommended the perfect pale pink to complement my skin tone. My first manicure lasted 3 full weeks and looked just as amazing at the end as the day they were done! Alex is not only super talented, shes a very sweet, kind, and genuine person. You will enjoy your time with her.

My haircut turned out just like I hoped. Definitely will be going back. I have an appointment soon for a spa package. Can’t wait!

Bailey was very friendly and answered all of my questions, which put me at ease. She did a great job of explaining the products that she used on my hair. She cut and colored my hair. I was happy with both!

One of the worst massages I’ve ever had. Apparently a deep tissue massage now means a back rub. I told the receptionist that it was awful and nothing was done. I then called and had to leave a message for a manager to call me back which never happened. When I finally spoke to someone about it they could care less. Poor management and terrible service. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone!

I have gone to Lavender Hill for many years and love the complements I get on my hair. Karen does an amazing job with my color especially. I also have gotten many massages from all the massage therapists. Recently Liana did my massage and it was excellent. All three of the girls are wonderful but I am so thrilled that Liana has joined the team!

My husband and I got a deep tissue couples massage and it was great. Both women, whose names I wish I remembered, did a great job. We left there feeling so rejuvenated and relaxed. Some of the massage was rough because of the amount of knots they worked out in my back, but it was so worth it. I would recommend going there if you are looking for an amazing massage.

So much more than awesome!!!! The atmosphere was calm and soothing to the soul... Soft soothing music, relaxing aromas, and low lights. The massage therapist was well trained as it showed in technique. And. Have been pain free since my visit 4 days ago. I havent been that relaxed in Years. Lavender Hill Spa Salon uses Aveda products and that alone is a great reason to visit this salon. Not to mention, the staff is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’ve been a customer at Aveda Salons for 30 years. Stayed with the same salon and stylist at my last location for 13 years. After moving here, my daughter told me about Lavender Hill. When I couldn’t stand my hair any longer I made an appointment. My hair stylist, Bailey, did an excellent job and I’m very happy. The warm towel around my neck was an awesome benefit. The salon is very modern and supplied with all my favorite products. I highly recommend Lavender Hill.

I love Brooke! She has done my hair a few times at another salon. I have not been to see her at lavender hill but no matter her location - she is amazing! I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. I live 6 hours away now and I would drive all the way home just to get hair treatment from her. She’s so sweet and provides a comfortable visit - great pricing! I recommend her.

Great place for a quality haircut. Definitely recommend Dwight as a stylist! He really listens to what you want, and I always leave happy. I once got my hair cut somewhere else, they did horribly, and Dwight was able to fix it! Hes also great to talk to, for those of us who are terrible at haircut small-talk. Also reccomend letting him wash your hair - youll get the spa experience!

I have been going there about 6 months now and have nothing but positive things to say about every technician there. Polite, helpful, great suggestions, knowledge galore, friendly. I came in with a horrible previous experience and they had Iris the co-owner help with ways that I liked to correct what another shop had done. Still to this day Iris and everyone there says hello, compliments my hair and asks if they can do anything. These men and women were a treasure to find and a salon I would recommend.

It is very hard to find a great professional hairstylist and Im glad Ive had an appointment with Carmen about 3 years ago. I think she was born to work with a hair :) The highlights are always blended and natural looking. She can prepare a color mix to make your hair evenly match your own color (thats in case you have some greys). Just by giving her idea of the length and look I always leaving her chair with the best haircut! Along with her talent and skills Carmen has a very nice personality. I enjoy every visit to Lavender Hill Spa Salon and I would recommend this salon to anyone!

I LOVED my experience at Lavender Hill. Yesterday was my first time there and I had my hair cut by Michelle, who was awesome! She was very sociable and nice and communicated extremely well about everything that would happen next. I never wondered what was going on. I also got a deep conditioning treatment that required a hot towel to be put on my head and during the treatment I experienced this cool tingling sensation all over my head from aromatherapy-like drops that they put on their towels and it was very citrus-y and refreshing...very cool sensation and smelled so soothing! I loved the atmosphere and was very comfortable. I also didnt tell Michelle much about how I wanted my hair she just seemed to know what to do with it. Also, everything they use on you they sell in the store so there is no reason you cant have your finished result at home. They even sell the drops they put on their towels. I am VERY happy. A wonderful Aveda salon! Thank you Lavender Hill!

Keri M is an incredible stylist! She always cuts & colors my short do perfectly. The staff is also quite helpful. Terrific atmosphere - calm, serene, and so relaxing.

I say avoid! I went for highlights. The girl pulled the foils off after 15 minutes (I have black hair) and then the manager or someone came by and made her do then again so I had to pay double. Almost $300 in charges for no visible difference to my hair.

I used to have my hair done by Morgan and she did a wonderful job unfortunately she left 6 or so months ago and i have had nothing but problems ever since. The last time the stylist let me walk out with a ring of hair dye all around my face and a line where my part is. This is not the first time this has happened just the first time i had not caught it before i left. I should not have to bring it to my stylists attention to have them remove it. Will not be back.

It took me two years to grow my hair out. I cried the whole weekend. I asked for long layers and what I got was an absolute mess. Nothing was blended, I had shelves for layers, she went way too deep, actually leaving a hole on one side of my hair, and the bottom layer was so thin you could see through it, looked like I was losing my hair or something. I believe she realized what she had done and tried to hide it by curling it really well before I left. I sensed something was wrong though so i immediately went home, wet and dried it to find that she had made one huge mess!! no way was I going back there to let them try to fix anything! I especially did not want to be in the same room with her! I did reach out to the spa to try to rectify the situation before Coming here to write a review ...hoping for some sort of acceptable exclamation or compensation. The very minimum I would expect was a phone call from the owner. what I got was a response from the front desk office staff telling me that they had offered me appointments with a so called “master stylist” and I declined. Basically they said ‘sorry but not sorry.. we tried to help!’ ... they said that there are no appointments available when she is not here... we will be happy to put you on a cancellation list in case something comes available. This was three days later! guys, I could not leave the house like this! To say the least I would steer clear of this place!

I had highlights and lowlights here. My stylist was incredibly knowledgeable. She suggested getting a lower priced option than what I had originally booked. She color matched my hair precisely and was super friendly. I will definitely go back and encourage others to as well.

Best massage I have had in a long time. Therapist had a heavy hand which is exactly what I like. We will be coming here from now on.

My boyfriend bought me a massage here for my Birthday. When I arrived I waited 5 minutes before I was even greeted. When I went in the room was cold. Understandable due to the temperature drop so I asked for the heat to be turned up and I was told it was against the managers policy to keep the temperature up and there were several complaints in the past. I could not enjoy my massage because I was shivering the whole time. I expect a place that portrays itself as high end to at least keep the massage rooms at a decent temperature. After that I was charged for my massage and had to call to get the charge removed after I confirmed my boyfriend had already paid for it.

They make you feel like royalty. The Aveda products are great. I was very happy with the cut and color from Brook. I look forward to each visit there.

Dwight is an absolute GOD SEND! I came in yesterday for my hair appointment and he went over EVERY single detail, every which way we could go about things, my budget and what he could do that day and then we would schedule future appointments. Because it is ALL a process which I completely understand so I wasnt expecting too too much....well let me tell you... not only did I feel soooooo SUPER relaxed and just calm there, when Dwight got done working his magical fingers....um I could have cried. I have NEVER been this happy over my hair. So I cant imagine what else he will do for my hair in the future! But he got all the orange out of my hair and literally brought to life EXACTLY what I was wanting! Lavender Hill has a permanent client because of him and I will never stray anywhere else! Ever!! oh and btw he has been doing my moms hair for almost a year now and she has embraced her grays but has been through HELL with stylist who didnt know how to work with her gray hair and Dwight has completely transformed her! Its amazing the amount of confidence he has given my mom and I! THANK YOU SO MUCH DWIGHT!!!!!!

I visited the spa for the first time and my visit there was great. I got their stress fix (it’s a combo of Swedish & deep tissue) massage, Jenell was wonderful, she hit every point we talked about. I walked out of there so relaxed, I’m glad my husband was my driver that day lol. On my way out the girl at the reception, Amanda, was friendly, asked me how everything was & when it came to paying I asked her to split my payment and she simply said “of course, I can do that” (other places give you attitude when you asked them to split a payment). Overall I enjoyed my visit, Jenell & Amanda were great, I will definitely be going back.

I had a Swedish Massage by Jenell for neck pain. When I entered the spa, my pain was an 8 on a scale of 0-10. I was desperate for help. After her amazing hands did their work on me, I walked out with my pain at a 2! 3 1/2 hours later, and my pain is essentially gone! Best massage Ive ever had! Jenell is AWESOME!!! I WILL be back!

She explained what products she was using, how she was going to cut my hair because I have really thick and difficult blonde hair. During my wash she put a warm towel on my neck and gave me scalp and neck massage that was amazing! She took her time styling my hair; she curled my hair to perfection! I posted a picture afterwards to my Facebook and have received 194 likes and loves with 49 comments on how beautiful my hair looks so far. I highly recommend Bailey and I will gladly make the drive from Fort Stewart to have her take care of my hair!!
