I have two small dogs, that usually sleep in the same bed at night. I booked a three night stay for my dogs so that I could go out of town. The kennel placed my dogs in two separate kennels plus they bathed my dogs without authorization. Which meant I had a very large bill. And this did not leave me happy. Yes kennel sparely, but be careful in how you address your needs for your pets, or you could be paying for something you do not want.

My dog Calvin jack loves going here. I know he I just as much loved here as he is at home. I work around the corner at the tow truck company and even on days when I’ve had the drivers drop him off they mentioned to me how cool it is they know my dog by name and how excited he is whenever they pull into the parking lot. Calvin loves it so much he’s even tried to escape the yard and take himself there. Lol

Weve been bringing our dog Merlin here for daycare for almost 6 months after trying various other daycares around town and this is by far our favorite! The owners, staff, and groomers know our dogs name by heart and he absolutely has a blast when hes there. Theyre very nice and professional, calling you if they have a question or they know theyre grooming might take a little longer. The prices are also very reasonable for daycare and grooming. Weve never had an issue

I wish I could have found this place sooner!! My kids have never been more happy to go there. They take EXCELLENT care of Bob & Zoe. They give me reports daily on how they do. (Honestly). It’s refreshing!The staff is always so friendly and welcoming! You can really tell they love the pups! -thanks for taking care of our babies ! ❤️

I brought my dog here for boarding and got terrible service, wait!! no service at all, they call me right before I took a plane and expected me to come and pick my dog up or they would not feed her at all they said,This people ruined my vacation because they couldn’t handle my dog they said, I brought my dog to this facility before and not have a problem like this.This might be under new management I would like to think, like I said terrible service, do not bring your dog or they would ruin your plans that’s for Sure.Thank god for well trains people that can handle a dog whatever the issue is. NOT DOGGY DREAM.

Best place in town to groom your dog(s). My chihuahua does not like anyone but me which is typical of the breed but she absolutely loves the groomers at a doggies dream. They make her feel comfortable before just jumping right in and it makes a huge difference. She is excited when we show up and she is even happier when we leave.

Hands down the best place to take your pup for a pupcation! They treat your animals like they are their own.

The first time I brought my Akita in to have her coat blown out whoever did it did a great job, there was no more shedding after she got dog. But a couple of years later and a new Akita they have consistently gone downhill. But nothing like the last time I brought my Akita to be done. It was a Sunday I was greeted by a friendly “little” older lady and the first thing I asked is if she was going to be able to handle my 100pd plus Akita, she said yes but I still asked her if she had help, she said she did. I still walked my dog to the back to the grooming station and put her in the cage. I again repeated myself asking her if she was sure she could handle my dog. As I turn to leave I look at the wash station and there was another big dog in the wash station. Needless to say she called me 2hrs later saying she couldn’t get her to the wash station or even back in the cage could I please come help because she’s by herself. I got there and the lady was very apologetic and even asked me if I would help her and she would do the job, but at this point I was boiling mad and my dog looked traumatized enough. So I left but I asked for her to have her manager call me so I could find out why in the hell would someone schedule to big dogs to be groomed back to back by a little old lady working by herself because the problem wasn’t the employee but it was with the person who scheduled the appointment. I’ve still not received a phone call, so that is why I’m writing this review. This unfortunately is not the place you want to bring your dog. I’ve always wondered why my dog puts the brakes on when we go there. They have definitely lost my business due to bad scheduling, and poor follow through on managements part.

While I was working, until last year, I have taken my Abby here for day care and grooming. Abby was always treated with great care and love. One of the caregivers always calls her The most beautiful dog in Reno I also enrolled Abby in a training program that was offered some years ago. The trainers were excellent and Abby did well. The staff has always been very caring and professional. Since Im retired now, I dont take her as much for day care, but will when needed. I can always bring Abby for a play day when needed. Heather is Abbys groomer, and the only groomer she has had. Ive never known a more compassionate person. Abby loves going to be groomed and has a great time at day care. She gets very excited when I tell her were going to Doggie Day...or were going to see Heather...She knows and her opinion is the one I listen to! Love you all at A Doggies Dream

I researched dog care for my two little min-pins over a year ago when my dad passed away and was going to need care for my dogs while out of state. I went to about a dozen dog care places and found Doggies Dream to be the best by far and affordable. Didnt need to board my dogs at the time but since working about a mile away from Doggies Dream started taking my girls there for day care about 2 days a week while I am at work. They love it! And I always feel good about leaving them in their care because I am confident that they are well taken care of.We do not live in a perfect world so with that said, I went to pick up my dogs one day several weeks ago and was quite frustrated that Brandy was not at the front desk because the person who was was very busy on the phone.........too busy to acknowledge me and call for my dogs. After waiting for 5 minutes I went into the office myself, got my dogs belongings and went in to the facility to get my dogs myself. When I found them the girl attending the group of dogs didnt know who my dogs were and I had to get them myself! I was very upset at this situation because it was not the normal for when Brandy is there.I want the owners to know that Brandy is a HUGE asset to their business! She has an amazing way of letting everyone know that their dogs are special and loved. Brandy has superb customer service skills which seem to come naturally for her plus she LOVES dogs! EVERY person working at this business should be trained by her and have the same compassion for each customer and their dogs that Brandy does! I am not sure if I would take my dogs there if Brandy was not employed there. Brandy should be commended for being more than an employee at Doggies Dream!

Such amazing loving caring people

My dog loves it here. We have tried a few places and Doggies Dream by far is her favorite. She is always excited to go, which wasnt the case with a few other places in town. I removed one star for the nail trimming- for some reason the last time I had it done her nails were ragged and split and I had to file them down. So wouldnt recommend that particular service. Boarding and daycare are great though!

They are great with our dog joe and cutting his nails. We dont use their doggy day care services but if we needed this type of service they would be our first choice.Great caring patient staff.

First of all, I would like to start out by saying I AM the Manager of A Doggies Dream, and not only have I never groomed a dog in my life, I have never verbally abused my customers or staff. The woman who is insisting that I did these things is mean and horrible and doesnt know who shes talking about. Then to insist I be fired or quit over something I absolutely had no involvement in, reduced my faith in humanity and upset me very much! If this woman cared after the honest response from the owners, she would make sure the vicious things she said were about the right person! The moment she saw me, she would realize she was wrong and would sincerely apologize to me, if she was a decent human being that is. IT WAS NOT ME, I AM NOT A GROOMER or a nasty person!!! I personally would not take my dogs anywhere else, and thats one of the many reasons I work there! I see how much love and care the staff shows to each dog. I see the front desk staff put up with unbelievable situations and sometimes horrible treatment, with a smile on their face. I see how clean it always is, and I see when all of the officials that oversee them (animal control, etc...) go in unannounced and leave every time giving them the equivalent of 5 stars for care and cleanliness. I am not a disgruntled employee or someone who is mad because I didnt get enough discounts and have to make up stories about this business or the people who9 work there!!! I am someone stating the facts, the way THIS site is supposed to be used.

I’ve brought my mini schnauzer here twice and would not hesitate to bring him back. The customer service is great! My puppy comes out nice and clean, they also gave me a heads up when it looked like he was getting an ear infection, he always comes out exhausted because he has so much fun playing with all the other little puppies. Thank you so much for taking care of our little munchkin.

I had been taking my dog here for 6 months. On 2 occasions they neglected to feed her, and as a result she ate rocks. The first time they neglected to feed her I discussed with the staff that I wanted to be notified if she was never not fed. The 2nd time I was not notified until I picked her up. In addition to the neglect and starvation, she was able to ingest more than 12 rocks without anyone noticing due to lack of supervision. As a result of their neglect and lack of supervision she suffered bloody vomiting and well as gastrointestinal bleeding.I would NEVER trust them with my animal. The owner never apologized, and only agreed to pay for her vet bill because we did not sign any contract stating they are not responsible.

This a very clean, fun and professional business. Staff is also very experienced with both puppy and adult dogs!Mtwo huskies have been properly socialized, all thanks to the amazing staff at A Doggies Dream.Id highly recommend it to any dog owner.

Ive been taking my dog to a Doggies Dream for close to 10 years now and I refuse to take her to any other groomer. Athena is great and is the dog whisperer when it comes to getting my dog to tolerate nail clippings. I highly recommend this company to everyone!

Mattie loves her groomer, Heather! Heather is the only groomer who grooms Mattie in the style I prefer. She does an excellent job and its obvious that she loves our pets.

I give this place a one star because I told them how to cut my dog hair Then they say I cut shortly so he can be ready for summer this is not ok am paying them to wash them and cut their hair like I want it I will be looking for a new groomer.

Upon my first visit to A Doggies Dream I couldnt have been more impressed with not only the cleanliness of the facility, but how friendly and informative the staff was. My Dobe pup was only 5 months old and 25 pounds when he started daycare at A Doggies Dream and now he is a year and a half and 95 pounds and the most social dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning all because of the this amazing facility!! I must also compliment the groomer, Heather, for being the only groomer in Reno that is capable of grooming my Pomeranian in a manner in which he comes home not stressed out or traumatized from the experience. My dogs love A Doggies Dream and so do I!!

Dang, as im trying to find a place to train my puppy I asked around & multiple people stated not to come here & just by checking out the drama in this review section I see why. Especially, when a manager is posting & making the place look much worse.My one star is not from experience but hopefully will save people the time of reading through all this craziness. I wish i could give a zero rating to this place. i took my dog here for 3 days he came out with two cuts on his legs and not to mention sick. i had to take him to ER. i wish i would have read more reviews before putting my dog in here. i wouldnt wish this on anyones animal. i am out a lot of $ because of this place

I took my small dog in for grooming three times. Got a good cut but took 4, 5 and 6&1/2 hours. No apology for the delay. Id rather have a less good cut in no more than 3 hours. Will never go back.

My doberman mix a shy dog. He sometimes barks and growls at strangers. He usually is pretty nervous when we go in still since we havent been coming in for long. And EVERY time they handle him with so much patients and care. This place is amazing with every type of dog. I am so impressed and will not go anywhere else.

The manager lady, Tracy, is mean and horrible. I brought my miniature schnauzer in for the third time. The first two times the staff were able to give my dog a beautiful cut despite his mangled condition. I was so impressed. They told me if he ever gets mats again to not cut them out that they had a tool to get it out with. And so I trusted them and brought him in again without cutting out any of the mats from his beard. As usual, I asked for a AKC standard schnauzer cut. But, the manager Lady shaved him completely. She didnt even have the decency to call me and let me know that she couldnt cut him per my request, or that she was going to chop him up like that. I was in there crying, and Tracy was yelling at me about how I abuse my dog by not taking care of him. I was in tears and she kept yelling at me. She is a horrible person. The other staff were always wonderful. I dont know how this lady became the manager. If she gets fired or quits, I would bring my dog back. But I cant ever trust them as long as Tracy is the manager.The owners reply that Tracy was not working is a lie. The managers name is Tracy Phillbrick, and I confirmed that it was her. I also want to thank the receptionist for being so kind and understanding. She is the perfect example of how to treat customers who are emotionally upset, as I admit I was. The staff here are absolutely wonderful and professional. This place would get five stars if it werent for Tracy.

This is the best place to bring your dog we have been bringing our dog for 4 yrs the people that work there are super nice and take good care of the dogs our dog Pumpkin loves it there and they love her I recommended to every one that had a dog. You will be very please.

It seems like the employees like to listen to the music really loud, inside and out, and that is no way I want to leave my pet all day listening to loud rock and roll. You can drive by and hear it clear as day outside and the lady said it is just as loud inside. Pets have sensitive hearing. I dont know if the owners are aware of this or not. Plus my dog was placed next to 2 vicious dogs, they were caged but the 2 dogs in the next cage attacked my dog, biting her tail and feet, and they didnt think it was important enough to call me at work to let me know..

Really creepy and rude customer service by the male employee who brings the dog up from the back on Sunday 7/17/16 at 6:00 pm. Guy literally puts the end of the leash right near my face intentionally and its not even necessary considering Im 64 and the dude was like 57.Im not dealing with your employees with short mans syndrome again. Animal Oasis, you somehow suck less than these people.

This place is very horrible I took my dog for the first time this weekend and had an issue with the so call manager Tracy. Theyre customer service is ridiculous I have been nothing but polite to them in the beginning but after Tracy called me about an issue that we had when I picked up my dog she was nothing but rude I have never been treated like this by anybody that I do business with it came to a point where she was buzzing at me and telling through the phone and she also hung up on me while I was talking I called back asking for the owners information and she kept cussing and being very rude this behavior should not happen to any other customers. I would never recommend anyone to this place. I would love if I could talk to the owner because with these employees its only going to hurt his business. And after all the reviews I have seen i am upset that I didnt check before taking my dog.

I am soo fortunate that this kennel is so amazing! I had booked my god to be in another kennel for the long weekend this past aug, upon arriving at this nameless kennel there was no way i could have left my dog with these people....in a fluster i remembered the name Doggies Dream, as i had taken my girl there several years prior. I called them up they said yes they had room and to come and drop her off. They even remembered her from 4 years ago....Long story short, when i came to pick up my dog, to my surprise she was happy, obviously well taken care of and bright eyed....something has changed in our relationship and i feel it has much to do with her visit to Doggies Dream, so thank you all so much!~

I cant believe anyone would give this business less than a full 5 stars. They take wonderful care of my dog, Zach. Zach was a shelter dog who came to us with some bad habits that included snarling, snapping, growling and occasionally fighting with other dogs (not all dogs, just some and it was unpredictable when and with which dogs he would be cranky). The staff at A Doggies Dream worked and worked with Zach always with loving attention in order to break him of these bad socializing behaviors. Since Zach was only there sporadically it took a while. But the staff was consistent and for the most part Zach can now be a part of the larger group at ADD without having to be isolated for bad behavior. He is much easier for us to handle him at home when he encounters a dog that he takes a disliking to. I also always love taking him in because he is so-o-o excited to go there and they greet him with such enthusiastic affection. So a big 5 thumbs up for the fab staff at A Doggies Dream. It is truly a dog owners dream.

Im from CA and we came to Reno our pet with us we went to two other pet play house just to be turn away bc of 12:00 no pets policy we show up at 12:23 not know this ( rude staff)..& discriminated because of time of day....However, we went to doggies dream made our dreams/ life much easier.. they have no rules and great staff!! If you are from CA only use DOGGIE DREAMS when coming to RENO... great business for pet owners..cost was cheap too!!!! GR

I havent even been here, I was simply driving by and the dogs began barking, Id assume all the traffic, and instead of hearing some kind of training or whistles I just heard some lady scream KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY! I felt bad for the poor things, seemed unprofessional to me. I would never bring my dog there knowing the care takers dont put full patience into the job. Sorry to anyone who does take their pup their.

Our old gal has fun here and gets excited to go. They take care of her and know what she did all day long.

We had a family emergency and my sister had to board her 2 dogs for 4 days. The dogs had never been boarded before. The dogs never leave their home or yard except to go to the vet and this time to be boarded. When we pcked them up there was vomit and a strong urine odor on their blankets. Within a week both dogs were diagnosed with Giardia and one was diagnosed with acute liver problems. These dogs all drink out of the same bowl at that place. I cannot say this is where their problems came from but I do know that my sister lost her husband and almost both of her dogs within a 3 week period. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I love this place. My dog Hasso goes there all the time! I see every single morning if he is happy when he is taken inside, and he feels like home. He even forgets that im there, and its funny. i have to get a goodbye kiss outside the door, and he just gives it quick to me cuz he just wants to get inside. And every night he comes home, he is sleeping all time. which is great for me cuz i can do my work, while he has already gotten his exercise and is sleeping. And believe me, I would not even get closer there if the staff wasnt friendly to him, or if he wasnt happy to get there. He is like my baby, and if you really love your dog, this is the best place for him to play!Thank you everybody that works at a doggies dream, thank you for being friendly and loving my dog and every single dog that you take care. You are awesome!!!!

I took my dog and he stayed with them for 3 days now my dog is very skinny won’t eat has diarrhea and looks very sickly when I left him he was healthy and playful and now he just lays there with sad eyes I don’t understand how I can leave him for 3 days and I come back and he is like this I’m calling my vet tomorrow you guys suck i left him with food in a bag and when I picked him up I was the amount that I left them with
