Dave did the annual maintenance today on our heat pump and auxiliary furnace and we were very happy with the service. He did a very thorough job, was friendly and answered all of our questions clearly and with patience. He also wore a mask when inside the house which we appreciated. I hope he is the one sent out next year by the company.

Our water heater decided to break down at 4:00pm on a Friday afternoon. After calling the office and the receptionist said that everyone was home for the day, the manager, Travis, decided to go out of his way to come over after hours at 5:30pm to help us out. He fixed our immediate problem so that we could have hot water again while we had family in town. Our water heater needs replaced because it is old, we will definitely be going with Central Oregon Heating Cooling Plumbing when we fix the water heater due to their dedication, kindness, and efficiency. These guys are great! Our AC went out and within an hour of noticing the rising temps (after hours) Mike the technician was here and the unit was fixed. It needed a new capacitator. We needed a part for our system and the office staff was extremely helpful. When plan A didnt work, we needed a technician to come out that same day. It was amazing. They came out, fixed that issue and a couple more, and we were up and running again. It was an excellent experience.

Both Wayne and Lyle have been to our property to work on several issues with our mini split ductless unit. Over the last 5 years there were several issues since installation. I wont go into everything but each time the company made sure the issue was rectified. In fact this last time something failed Oregon Heating and Cooling elected to replace the entire wall unit for us. This evening she refused to help me insisting that the home owner has to call to schedule the appointment. I did not have time to argue so until someone calls me to make it right instead of referring you as my number one referral I’ll be the #1 detractor.

I loved the ability to add photos and even a video of my furnace problem online. I quickly got a call from Alyssa, who worked around my schedule and was able to get me an appointment within 2 days.Jason was the technician who came out and after trying to fix the furnace, he realized it was going to be a bigger job. Our service technician was prompt, courteous and did not pressure us into purchasing anything (I liked that). He showed me the filter and requested it be replaced. He made adjustments necessary to protect the unit and ensure a long life for the equipment. I was very satisfied with his performance and behavior.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Dont call this company if you need work done!After discovering a 1 hole in our pipes under our home we called Central Oregon Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. They were able to work us into their schedule which was nice. The two men (one plumber and his apprentice) came to my home to look at the hole and assess the situation. They never asked if I would like them to wear a mask (due to COVID). When they arrived we debriefed about what the restoration crew had already done. The two men would not even go into the crawl space. They said that it smelled and they did not have suits or masks. Why would you come to a job so unprepared?! The restoration crew had laid down new visqueen, and plastic just for them to access the hole.Because they would not even attempt to look at the pipe, our family was out of our home for additional days. They came back two days later unannounced. Because we were desperate we allowed them into the crawl space. They cut the chunk of damaged pipe out and replaced it. They did not check to make sure it no longer leaked, and they left the gross holy pipe in my front yard! The next day when I put in a load of laundry, my washing machine went to the drain cycle. Instead of draining the water started gushing out of the drain pipe. Upon inspection by my husband it turns out this plumber who fixed the pipe just cut the pipe right through a clog (see photos). He did not bother to tell us, or to move his cut to cut out the clog. He just left it. Leaving it cause our water to backflow into our laundry room. My husband ended up cutting a 10 section out himself and replacing it for less than $200. Today we got a bill for $500 for a fix that my husband had to redo two days later. We could have called them back, however I did not want them in my home ever again. Moral of the story, if you need work done that might include getting messy dont call this company. If you want your work done properly, dont call this company.

***While I originally was absolutely satisfied with this company, the last month has proven to be a horrible experience. I have called in 4 times in the the last month to get them to come out and finish installing a breaker so we can go to inspection. Each time they tell me they will get it scheduled or someone will call back and nothing has happened. Please finish the job!***Our furnace went out at 5 am on a Monday morning. I called in right at 8, we had a technician come out by 2, who was absolutely amazing, friendly informative, and very helpful. He did everything he could to fix the problem, but the pump had gone bad. He set up for another person to come out that same day to give us an estimate to replace the system. Again another friendly employee, was not pushy, we chose a system and they came the next day to install. So thankful for fast, responsive service, to get us heat again!!!

On 6/9/21 Damon Veach, service technician from Central Oregon Heating Cooling Plumbing came out to repair our nonfunctioning heat pump. He found that the compressor was ok, but that there was a problem with the Start Kit, and the starting capacitor. He installed a new Hard Start Kit, and a new dual capacitor. He also replaced the start relay with an improved one.In the past when I have called for service on my heat pump from other local companies, sometimes inexperienced technicians would arrive. Their solution to a non-functioning system was to “throw parts at it” (and bill for each replaced part), rather than diagnose the problem to determine the specific failure point. Damon did a complete evaluation then offered me 3 options for the repair with various costs for each one. I was so impressed with his summary that I opted to replace not just the broken parts but also the worn parts. Additionally, he educated me about these systems and gave us tips on how to prolong the life of our 25 year old heat pump. Overall I was very impressed with his technical ability as well as his integrity. Accordingly, I plan to call Central Oregon Heating Cooling Plumbing for any future needs.

First off Monica at the dispatch center couldn’t have been more understanding and about my predicament when my pellet stove quit working. She was able to quickly dispatch a technician even though it was after hours and snow was falling hard. When Damon arrived he was very professional and worked tirelessly to troubleshoot my stove. Also he was open to working with his other colleagues who had perhaps better knowledge of the model in question. In the end, I have heat again, same day, and they have gained a loyal costumer for life. Thank you so much!

I have liked the service people from COHC that have performed maintenance on my furnace and/or AC. However Nick Todd was one of the nicest service/repair persons that I have dealt with from COHC. He was pleasant, and patiently answered my numerous questions. He made sure that he performed the maintenance that was required by the prospective buyer of my home in order to help me transition through the sale of my home. While in my home he was respectful of my property like the floors so as to cause no damage. AND he liked my dog! Not everyone can put up with a dog who pesters them to play! I wish all service/repair persons were as respectful and patient as Nick is.

We had absolutely great work done on our Natural Gas on demand Hot Water Heater. It is working beautifully after their replacement of several washers and cleaning of the water lines within. I now understand the cooling flush system thanks to their education efforts.

This company charged me $1,298.00 to fix a heating problem at a house I own. The electrical usage at the house skyrocketed in Nov. After seeing the bill, and not knowing there was a problem before that, she notified the company. They came out and diagnosed it, and then came back to fix it. They claimed to have fixed it, BUT the electricity USAGE stayed the same, the emergency heat never turned off. It wasnt until another electricity bill was sent that the tenant realized indeed nothing was ever fixed, just worked on. The company came out and said it now was a different problem, a reversing valve and that the system was too old. I told them the electrical usage never changed after they fixed the other problem. The owner didnt address the issue and said it was fixed and they cant help me anymore. I asked how it was fixed if the usage NEVER changed after the fix. HE ignored the me and said he couldnt do anything more.I am very disappointed in the company. Its obvious the problem wasnt diagnosed correctly or completely the first time and the company doesnt want to admit the mistake. The science and proof are right in front of him.

My LG heat pump and ceiling cassettes were professionally installed last year during new construction. I really like the efficiency of the heat pump and the nearly invisible look of the ceiling cassettes. They worked great last winter, but one had a noise issue during the summer months.I want to thank everyone that worked on my system to troubleshoot the issue. From the technicians, to the service manager, to the GM, there were a lot of hands on this noise problem.The guys were back today, replaced the condensate pump, in hopes that will fix the issue. Because this noise only happened during cooling, their warranty extends for a year for this pump.I cannot sing enough praise for these guys & gals! Great work tracking down the problem and fixing it. Thank you!

Ive used them twice for our non-profit. One time for plumbing, one time for HVAC. Both times they charged a ton and did not fix the problem. Electrical, they tried to get us to replace a very expensive part, only for us to find out it was just a fuse.Plumbing, came out (and charged) two different times to fix a toilet, but neve did, then didnt want to try and work with us.The one Pro is that they showed up in a timely manner, but too much gouging Lost them a customer.

I had given them an excellent rating before the work was finished. They started off really strong with lots of promises of helping expedite other parts of our remodel, like plumbing. After they started, I spent weeks trying to get answers from anyone and got shifted from one person to the next to the next again and again and again. The plumbing quote that they said would be super easy was $2,500 more than what I ended up paying with another plumber. To this day, my heat pump is out there not leveled. They left debris around the work they did. Ive never had another let me know that the project is finished. Ive given up with these people. So disappointing after such a strong start. I will never use them again on any of my future projects.

Absolutely best customer service! Wanted to install A/C, had 3 appointments last week, companies with great reputations, but Chris treated us with respect, called prior to appointment to let us know exactly when he would arrive, to the minute. He was knowledgeable, explained every detail, no “hard sell” or up sale for services we didn’t need. He emailed our quote 6 hours later, again calling to let us know he had sent it. Despite receiving my call to update him we wanted to proceed, Sunday afternoon, via his cell, he was here the following morning to sign contract. They just called to set up install next week! ( The 2 other company quotes were at least 1000.00+ higher, with 6-8 week wait. ( By then, why bother...)Veteran owned business, with units all manufacturers in the good old USA...quite proud of both, as a veteran myself, I am confident we are in good hands. Read previous Yelp reviews, which were few compared to other far less established in Bend, I felt this warranted a review most would see as premature. Due to such dramatic difference in both cost and Customer Service, I hope my review is helpful for others in my situation. Wow! So impressed. (We know where we will be buying our AC this spring) Thanksgiving Eve, 8pm and we can’t get our home warmer than 61 degrees. We’ve only been here a month, new construction and couldn’t possibly imagine why our brand new furnace was not heating the home. So we called the number on the inside of our thermostat cover. To our surprise we got an actual live person. The answering service had the on-call technician reach out to us. We were shocked when Brad called just a few minutes later and showed up at our doorstep 10 minutes later. Mind you we just had 12” of snow drop that day and getting around was more than a chore. Being impressed with the service just kept on going. Brad literally “jumped” from the ladder into the attic, worked some magic (elevation adjustment) on our unit and was off again. So pleasant and so prompt.

Good communications. Fast, efficient, complete service. I established a continuing maintenance agreement based on Anthony work and the courteous and helpful phone support from the office team. Highly recommend.

Matt arrived within half an hour after a courtesy call recieved within the time frame they had given me for my service that day. He went up into the crawlspace, came down a few moments later with a diagnosis, retrieved the part from his van and installed the replacement part needed for our house to get warm again. We will be using this service every year.

Extremely Poor. I used this company to install the entire HVAC system in my new home. During construction, the installers would show up around 10a and leave an hour or two later. This happened many times. They committed to be done by one Friday and took an extra month. Once the heater was installed, it would fail every hour or so and need to be manually reset through the entire winter. They came out and fixed the problem many times - but it continued to fail. I have withheld payment until the problem is fixed. Their latest rep now claims to have fixed the issue - but I am unable to test it because it is summer and the heater would need to be on for hours at a time to verify its operation. The company is also charging me finance fees for the unpaid portion.

Have had several service visits from Central Or. Htg & Cooling over the years and todays service call from Brian A was by far the most thorough and comprehensive yet. He did not rush anything, took time to answer my questions and explained what all he was doing ...Excellent !!!

Everyone I dealt with was friendly and personable. Brad, the technician. arrived on time and diagnosed the issue. I have a Lennox gas fireplace that needed a new blower. They found a new blower that was compatible that was half the cost of the Lennox brand. Brad came back and installed the blower in less than a week. I am more than happy with the service I received. I will be using Central Oregon Heating and Cooling for all of my heating and/or cooling needs!

We had Central Oregon H&C do all the system in our new home 11 years ago, and still rely on them today. We needed a plumber, searched the web, and found that they now do plumbing. They sent a journeyman & apprentice, fine people! Job was completed promptly, everything left in a very clean state, and the job done perfectly. We had a new Carrier heating/cooling system installed about a month ago by Central Oregon Heating and Cooling and were pleased with the whole process. Nick ( in sales) coordinated the whole process and all went smoothly. He was easy to communicate with, was knowledgeable about the systems available, didn’t try to push us into buying something we didn’t need and always showed up as scheduled. The installers (Dustin and we don’t recall the name of the other person) were very competent, worked hard, cleaned up their mess when finished, and completed the job, including new duct work under the house, in 3 days even though it was scheduled to take 5 days. We also worked with Dave (maintenance/repairs) who came to work on our old system and also to troubleshoot a problem with the new one; he arrived promptly and seemed to be very competent. We have only had the system a short time but so far are very happy with our decision and quite impressed by the employees and their work.

I’ve had a great experience with this company. They have integrity, know what they’re doing, are honest and reliable. Damon, who has done most of the work on our systems is outstanding. He is very knowledgeable, a good communicator, professional and delightful to work with. After hiring a couple other HVAC companies in town who knowingly took advantage of my lack of knowledge, which cost me time and money and trust, I decided to try Central Oregon Heating and Cooling. More odd than anything. We scheduled an appointment for a estimate to replace our heater, AC and water heater. The sales person showed up, but was only here a few minutes to meet with my wife. No real questions for us, no measurements, just a quick review of the existing equipment and said hed be back to us with some options. No discussion about the brands offered until my wife asked. Couldnt get back in touch with him directly if we wanted to as he didnt leave a card and no brochure. What was troubling is that two other companies already told us our equipment was oversized from when the house was built. And he missed the opportunity to ask about air quality improvements we were looking for. Two days later, no estimates, no call from the plumber to see about the water heater (we were told a second person would have to come out). Two stars since the sales person was a nice guy. I guess it is good to be busy.

After unsuccessfully trying to contact over 6 plumbing companies in Bend, not only did COHCP have someone local to answer the phone on the weekend, but the technician dispatched (Jesse - great guy) came out to initially assess the situation in the dark; then followed up to complete the job soon as they could. This is our fourth year of having our heater serviced by Central Oregon Heating and Cooling. Each year we have found the service person to be knowledgeable, personable, and respectful. Love that they wear shoe covers in the house. Very considerate.

Mike was prompt and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about his product and his performance. Mike was the best tech we have had

Lyle came this morning right on time which is always appreciated. He did a wonderful job on our furnace and then worked on our A/C. He offered to do an estimate on duct cleaning which I will have him do next scheduled appointment. I will request him again as he was great!!

My furnace went out this morning, and I woke up cold. When I called Central Oregon Heating and Cooling I said they need to use the back entrance because my snow shovel was broken too, and the front wasnt clear. When Damon showed up he brought a snow shovel too! The furnace was fixed on the spot and I am going to bed in a warm house. So grateful for their thoughtfulness and dependability despite the bad roads and freezing temps. Thanks guys 🤗

Im sure all of the high star ratings are legit! However, sometimes companies that are doing very well lose some continuity at times. I called to set up an appointment to fix my gas fire place and Im sure it would have been about a 450$ fix. The appointment was set and on the day of the appointment, 10 minutes after they were supposed to already be at my house, I got a phone call message stating they arent going to make it and the next available time would be in 5 days. I called back and couldnt get in contact with the service guy. I called the main office asking them to have him call me back. I left a message as well but heard nothing! A week and a half has gone by and still nothing. They didnt even show up on the day he said he would have to reschedule. No apology from anybody. Oh well, I had another company come out and it was fixed.Note:I have edited the 1 star to a 3 star after having a very polite conversation with the manager who was genuinely concerned over this event. Organization, timeliness and profesionalism is key to great business and customer service. Thank you.

COHC came today to do their bi-annual check up on the heater & ac. We never have to worry about anything with them. Not only are they always on time. Courteous. Helpful! Explain everything that may need to be done. They wear booties to protect your floors. BUT, they always go beyond “just a service call.” They always make you feel like you are the only customer of the day. No rush! No fuss. Just you & your home are the most important job of the day. I just had a fantastic 5 star customer service experience worth sharing. The AC system that we had installed in our home back in February wasnt functioning at 100% of its potential so I contacted Nick our sales specialist, who is absolutely fantastic to work with. He immediately got on the phone and had the scheduling desk contact me to schedule an appointment.Thats when I met their shining star Tech Damon! He quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and everything is working perfectly! He is a smart young man and if you have the opportunity to ask for him by name I would recommend that you do!I am a local District Manger with 9 locations and I use this company not only at my home, but at all of my stores too! Superlative service! From Dylan who took my service call to York who took care of our air conditioning unit top notch professionals. Quick response as our unit went out late afternoon of one of the hottest days of the year. York was here just after 8 am the next day and had our unit in good working order quickly!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Lyle, he repaired a heat pump for us yesterday in the withering heat with a wasp nest to boot. Outstanding communication and attention to detail, a great representative for your company, I hope were lucky enough to get him next time we need service.

Yesterday a gentleman arrived to repair my AC and was all set up and working when my grandson Jeremiah looked around the corner and saw what he was up to. I am so tickled, the whole time of the repair I could hear them carrying on a conversation of what was going on and the voice of a little boy so interested in the work. It warmed my heart when in the evening he was telling me some of the amazing things that were done. Thank you sooo much.
