My husband and I moved here in December, and so far its been a great experience! We actually hadnt even been planning on touring here when we were apartment hunting, but we saw it while we were driving by, thought it looked nice on the outside, and called the office to see if we could check it out. Sarah in the front office kindly squeezed us in right away before she had to give a tour to someone else, and we were impressed by the apartment. We really dont have any complaints - we feel very comfortable here, and its our favorite place we have ever lived. The office is very responsive to any questions or concerns and has been transparent with us, and Sergio and the maintenance staff have been quick to fix the couple small things that came up. Its great not having to share a laundry room with a whole bunch of people (the 2 smaller apartments in each building share one laundry room, and the 2 larger ones each have their own laundry in the garage). We love having a garage - its nice to be able to both use it for some storage and a car. Parking hasnt been an issue - we can almost always find a spot right outside our apartment, but if we come home late at night and all the spots are full there is plenty of street parking nearby. Our cat loves to go on walks (were some of those weird people that walk our cat on a leash) in the big green grassy area in the middle near the pool, and its been fun meeting all the friendly neighbors on our walks. Its a pretty quiet place to live, the building layout promotes some good privacy, the neighbors are all really nice, and we feel very safe in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend living here if youre thinking about it - and maybe my cat and I will see you out on a walk sometime!

We just moved in and I have to say Sarah has made the entire process so smooth. She really goes above and beyond to make you feeI welcome. I came for a tour and I really liked the apartments, nice and roomy, well maintained grounds and so far everyone is so friendly and down to earth. It’s been nothing but a positive experience.

Sergio was great, as always! I asked him to just give me the new screws so I could save him the trouble and he said “no way!” and did it himself.

I lived in one of the smaller 2 bedroom units for a year. Overall it was fine, Ive lived in better and worse apartments. Units are pretty spacious, nice huge closets, tons of counter space in the kitchen. Perhaps the best thing about this place is having a garage. Even the smaller single car garages have enough length to put a small bit of shelving in at the end and my Corolla still fit no problem and kept the apartment free of clutter. Plus having a dedicated parking spot was great because finding parking can otherwise be difficult. Im not sure when they rebranded to Renew but with the new name seems to have come a number of unit improvements. Prior to moving in the refrigerator, stove/range, dishwasher, and Kevo electronic deadbolt were all clearly brand new. The Nest thermostat may have been new, but it had been painted over so not sure. The kitchen had new flooring as well. However, the buildings themselves are definitely older. Over the course of the year, we had to have the AC unit, some faucets, and the garage door opener and keypad replaced. All credit to Sergio, he was always prompt to fix our issues and didnt hesitate to completely replace a part if it was acting up. As for the not so great things, the move in and move out experiences were disappointing. We scheduled our time to arrive but were called an hour before saying the apartment wasnt ready as they were still installing flooring. When we did get inside, there were a number of issues like a broken shower door, leaking dishwasher, cupboards that wouldnt close because the hinges had been painted over countless times, and exposed wires from the doorbell hanging in the closet. We couldnt walk barefoot inside for weeks because there were so many thorns in the carpet. Sergio was apologetic and took care of all the issues, no problem. After move out there were charges against our deposit, some legitimate, some petty, but the real kick in the pants was the $275 painting charge, which apparently is just to be expected and cant be refuted even though new paint was absolutely unnecessary. Other thoughts: The windows are single pane and terrible, the majority of our AC bill was due to them not being able to retain cool air. The bedroom window rattled when it was windy. The Mixet faucets are awful and whoever engineered them should be ashamed, they were constantly stuck. The patio space was great, the landscaping is immaculate. We adopted a dog while we were here and had no issues during that process. Residents I met there were mostly very nice, a high number of families seem to live here. I never had a bad experience dealing with Katrina or Sergio.Overall, ReNew Redlands is fine. This review may seem overly negative but what apartment isnt without any issues? The majority of our time here was pleasant and the problems that we did have were mostly resolved quickly.

I dont care much for the management. They constantly try to enter my unit due to an emergency yet there is no emergency. I missed a flight due to it I even explain the situation without any consideration on their part. I had no AC for two weeks and I notified the maintenance section of their residence login at least 4-5 times..... That to me would seem like an emergency being that I had a child in the home. I believe theyre way overpriced. And I now know why I see many garage doors open and empty. I even had men try to enter my unit without consent or with a24 hour notice. I wasnt dressed when they began to knock. And without even waiting for a response began to unlock the door. when they couldnt unlock the door they came back an hour later with more keys trying to unlock the door. Being a victim of domestic violence that incident totally made me feel unsafe. Luckily I have it saved on my door ring device and had changed the lock prior. The irony of that specific issue is they were part of some water saving program but at midnight every night a sprinkler thats been broken for weeks sprays out water for at least 20 minutes. Most recently the girl in the office after telling her I didnt feel comfortable with men in my home told me I had no choice so I changed my doctors appointment and never received a call back from her in regards to this so called emergency. When you rent a unit at any place you should feel safe in your home, whether your home or not. Their discretion on whats an emergency is very flawed.

If I could give it no stars that would still be too many... this place is run down beyond the new name. Everything is falling apart. Air conditioning is the worst Ive ever seen. Had a company come out to evaluate and they said all of the units are way over due to be replaced. The ducting is collapsing and the condensing and blower units are way out of date. Toilets that are cracked, faucets that have no decent flow of water. Dont waste your money or be bamboozled by the fresh coat of paint.

Just a heads up I found out that when they renew your lease they raise it up by $50.00 or more. If you dont properly advise them in writing they will make you pay for the extra month. Watch their tricky lease agreement and read it carefully. There is no rent control here. My neighbors dont bother me. At one time they double charged me the rent and since then I only give them money orders. It seems that this place is always under construction so without notice they turn off our water. It has happened at least six times in a year. On the other hand they keep the grounds well maintained and they do fix things if you ask them. They used to have parking problems until they clamped down on the people who were parking here without permits. Now we have a lots of parking. Another plus is that I have a garage. They keep the pool and jacuzzi clean. Overall, it is peaceful here. No drama and the apartments are nice.

Even though there have been a lot of changes recently with the change of ownership Katrina the office manager & Sergio the head maintenance man have handled it gracefully. Alot of positive upgrades are being done to the property & we just had to renew our lease & our rent barley went up. We love living here they both love our kids & spoil them with candy lol. Couldnt imagine raising my kids anywhere else at least until we buy a home.Theres free laundry, plenty of kids and safe areas for them to play on the property, its dog friendly, upkept pool/spa w/restrooms & shower, each apartment comes w/a garage, plenty of parking & free propane bbq areas with tables to eat at. The only time its ever noisey is when theres events at Redlands University Stadium & really its not that bad then, not to mention the front row seats to the fireworks show on the 4th of July.
