I am so pleased with the service. The community manager Cristina has gone above and beyond to help me and my daughter. She has been so kind and understanding. I appreciate all her help during this process. She is humble and deserves so much than a praise. I am truly great for all that she has done to help me.
Place is a joke. Someone was parked in our parking spot for the first three days after we moved in. We asked for leasing office to find whos car it was and ask them to move and they refused. Said they would give them 24 hours to move the car. Front office worker (Virginia) said she couldnt get it moved when I asked because she was busy ordering tickets to Universal studios...the car wasnt moved for 72 hours...I actually received a ticket for parking on the street because I wasnt able to park in my spot. Mailboxes were also broken and now they wont give me my mail key unless I update my info plus my partners info. I told them nothing has changed and I need my mail and they refused (pretty sure its a felony to withhold mail). Cockroaches, floods, leaks, you name it. Lastly, they have tree services come and chainsaw/run woodchippers at 6am. Getting the hell out of here once the lease is up.
I visited and stayed with a friend here for a few days. The common area was not well kept, the next door neighbor was blasting music late into the night to early in the morning, the management did not do anything to help with the situation (and I also noticed police visited the neighbor while I was there a couple times). At night, there were people hanging out in the cars, making noise. Being a woman, I felt unsafe walking outside without my friend with me - I got out of the place as soon as I can.
I would NOT recommend living here for short or long term lease. If you’re working at Esri you would be better served finding another apartment complex or renting a room in a house or renting a house. The first time I used the dishwasher it flooded the kitchen.I had to call the Redlands Police on 4 occasions concerning excessive noise, and other neighbors called the police as well. When I vacated the unit I left it cleaner than when I moved in and my entire deposit was kept with no justification. They would not walk through the apartment when I vacated because of “covid”. However, the pool and laundry and management office was open.Pay a little more and live somewhere else. You will be happier.
We recently moved here. The move in experience was great, however, our apartment was not cleaned very well at ALL! We had to have maintenance come out every day and they were in here a long time figuring out how to fix the switch and plug in the bathroom. It needed to be completely replaced!! The drain in tub was plugged up, the shower water did not come out the shower head, the fan in the bathroom was so dirty that it had to be removed and vacuumed out!! All this should have been done before we moved in!!!The dishwasher was very dirty and smelly because it was clogged with food and pods that didnt disolve!! We like the apartment and so far its been quiet. Just sad that we had to deal with all the repairs and filth moving in to what was supposed to be a clean place!! Also, they never repainted the apartment.CL
Easy move in experience. We got a one story cottage, which was awesome and close enough to the pool and laundry to be convenient, but not noisy. The office and maintenance staff are professional and pleasant, and always ready to help. They have an online maintenance request, which is awesome. I paid my rent automatically with their payment system and Never a problem with my rent. Its a nice place to live. The pools, laundry area, and gym were upgraded with security cameras this year due to some vandalism, and there havent been any incidents since. If we didnt need to move, it would be a nice place to stay. Convenient to everything Redlands has, but just far enough away to be quiet.
Pros:Good location, close to downtown and other stores.Nice landscaping, The grounds were kept clean and trimmed for the most part.Good priceA/CChristina in the office is very friendly and caring.Cons:Time Warner Cable only. It was a hassle to get it installed and even more of a hassle to cancel.Next door to low income housing. The maintenance crew isnt very prompt. There were two instances where I had them come out to fix something. Both times they told me theyd come back later, only to never return or call. They add water/sewer/trash on top of rent, usually another ~50 bucks.I requested an initial inspection of my unit to take place 2 weeks before my move out date (signed a contract). I was also to receive a call notifying me that the staff would be coming by within 48 hours to do the inspection. I never received a call, nor an inspection. So the management needs to be prodded a bit.I cant think of anything else so Ill end it here. Overall, Id move back if I had to, because of the location and price.
Dont recommend this place at all. My concerns:1. I paid my rent online (apparently you arent supposed to pay your rent online if it is late, understandable) I was unaware of this and my payment did go through when I hit submit and it even hit my bank account. Then I called a few days later to make sure everything was in order and after waiting for a few hours Christina told me everything was in the clear and the payment was successful, no worries. So you can imagine my surprise when she has her assistant call me demanding my rent by 4 pm that evening to avoid eviction. IT WAS 2PM!! 2 hours? She had her assistant on the phone with me putting me on hold while Chrisitina (obviously in the background) telling her what to say after each question. Needless to say I lost all respect for her at that point.2.Trouble with maintenance requests. I put in separate orders for 3 things.. Dishwasher drain flooding counter tops, leaking faucet and blind replacement. They only fixed one. Another time my shower head wasnt putting out water, it was only coming out of the tub facet. When I asked the head of maintenance what the problem was he told me it was a deverter (thinking he would know I called it in and said I was pretty sure that is what needed to be replaced) they came and fixed it, but it still was not working. So I called it in again and they came and fixed the problem. The part I did not appreciate however was the very rude note the maintenance guy (Mario) left for me. (I assume when he didnt fix it right the first time he got chewed out and was upset he had to go back and it was my fault apparently. Also there has been times I have seen Christina in the front office (not appearing to by too busy) and Ive called and called and she didnt answer until the 3rd or fourth time. Just yesterday my other-half called several times and still no reply.
I would like to give it zero star if I could. I leased one bed room there and they charged me $70-80 water fee every month except my lease. I moved out on July 4th this year and do not receive my security deposit until now ( Sep 17 already). I called many times trying to contact with the office, only one time someone answered the phone but said she will leave a message to her manager and let the manager call me back for my security deposit. She asked my name, previous lease apartment number, and my phone number and said the manager will call me back the next day. But nobody calls me and nobody answers my phone after that. I even left at least two times voice mail. Bad experience and I am very disappointed. Be careful for leasing there.
I currently stay here and haven’t had any issues. The leasing office is more than willing to work out payments if you’re late, as long as you communicate. They’re a little pricey, but Redlands is pricey in general.
Pinewood really disappointed me and my wife. We had a one year lease and when it was about to expire, we asked them what the renewal procedure is. They remained silent without any information to us only to surprise us with a rent hike 2 weeks to the expiry. When we told them we will move out, that is when they turned us their enemies. They would not reason with us anymore, manager at the complex turn d rude and told us to deal with the corporate offices. If you want to live here, consider the amount of trouble you can handle dealing with them. I would not recommend it at whatever cost. I am very very disappointed with them; especially when they start putting threats on you to force you to stay.
The worse place to live wished I never moved here. can wait until my lease ends
I am giving 5 stars based on service, if I could I would give the owner negative stars. I live by the main office, so I will write about my experience and not comment on others. First Christina and Marisol do a fantastic job of managing the complex. They are friendly, approachable, and always greet one with a smile. The maintenance crew is great, but sadly overworked. My experience is that 99% of the time it is really quiet. However, during the summer when we were down to one pool, there was added traffic and noise. I blame the owner, regardless of delays for shutting down 1of 2 pools at the start of summer. This is a renovation that absolutely should have been done in the winter. The laundry room is a card operated Ponzi scheme. $5 for a card that then must be loaded with $ to wash ones clothes...the machines are expensive and frankly SUCK. Again I blame the owner. Lastly, this apartment complex uses some company that extorts residents. For example: I utilize $9 worth of water, but pay $12 to heat it and $14 for sewage. Then I pay $$$ in trash. This is an unfair arrangement, I assume a portion goes to the owner whos dialysis Im clearly paying for.
When you charge somebody higher for a short term lease, you tell them WHEN THEY MOVE IN that theres a 30-day move out notice. You DO NOT tell them to pay one month more rent right before they are about to move out.
Great place to live! My boyfriend and i have lived here for three years. not one complaint this whole time. We would have signed for another year but decided not to only because of their pet policy, no dogs. The grounds are well maintained everyone keeps to themselves and its really nice and quiet. As for management i only see them once a month and thats to turn in rent, so no problems there. Ill miss this place a great deal, too bad they dont allow dogs it be perfect id probably never leave.
This is the worst community ever. The AC was not working from days and the only response we get is they are not able to fix it, and it will take time. Their technicians suck. Its 85-96 inside the house and I am suffering with a headache from days. I would never recommend this community to anyone. I am just stuck here and I am waiting for my lease to end.
The fitness center and laundry are locked up from 10pm to 9am. So if you were interested in running on the treadmill before work or tossing a shirt in the dryer, forget about it. Its unbelievable to spend money on a fitness center and then make it so unavailable.Since moving into my remodeled apartment I have had so many maintenance issues. To their credit, the maintenance team is quick to respond and very friendly, but these are older apartments and have many issues. The remodeling is being done on the cheap, so if you pay attention to detail, this is not the place for you. They replaced the doors, but not the old rusty hinges, they pulled up old floorboards and replaced it with rubber backing, etc.The complex is very quiet, and I enjoy the cottage on the ground floor with nobody above me. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but after a couple of months Im just frustrated that I cant get the lid on the toilet seat to stay up without holding it!
Dont recommend this place especially if you got pets
