Website insists no appointment necessary, but that’s a lie. Showed up and pulled behind a car, employee sees me pull up and walks up a few seconds later and puts a cone behind the car in front of me and blocks me off (it was 3pm, not sure why they were shutting down a lane) Rudely tells me to back up. So I did. Comes over again and tells me again with an attitude to back up and not block his exit; I’ve never been here before so I didn’t know I was blocking anything, besides the fact that I had just been in a proper line and he had cut me off with a cone despite seeing me waiting there.Tells me it’ll be 2+ hour wait for an oil change, definitely not the quick errand like their website promises it would be. So I left.Attitude is everything. I would have returned another day if the employee would have just been kind and explained why I’m being blocked off and told to back up so many times. Literally only said the words “okay, thank you” to him, yet he was rude the entire time from the start even in his exasperated gestures. Was never told why he coned off a lane, and why me pulling up made him grab a cone and walk over to block me off.Was looking for a new oil change place after my last one shut down. Definitely will not be this location. Lost a future customer

This place used high quality oil. I was able to stay in my truck well they completed service, which didnt take very long at all.. They not only changed the oil but also checked all fluids, lights and tire pressure.

Seems like every time my car goes there a week or two later my car has to have some major repair done on it. This is the third time now. Not returning again. I feel something happens because I only get an oil change and no other services they want me to do. 3 times now seems like a pattern. Then the guy goes we have no reminder stickers go buy one at Autozone after I paid $50 plus for your service at least you can do is give me a sticker.

I love coming here for basic car maintenance. They are always super friendly and quick. Today there was no wait too. Awesome!!! Daniel was such a superstar! He was super quick, efficient, so nice!!

This review is solely on my oil change. So so much better than other places Ive been to. This place has fast and friendly service and has lived up to the great reviews! The service people and front desk staff are very competent, polite, and friendly. Oil change is very fast. Im so glad to have found this place and plan on being their customer for a very long time to come.

Warning:Horrible Experience.Ive been a loyal customer at this location for many years with 4 cars but I feel it is my responsibility to report this experience.I came in today for service and purchased a windshield wiper and air filter.I paid cash and as soon as I got on foothill blv. my dashboard sensors started flashing and giving me the message of Acceleration sensor malfunction .I immediately turned around and went back to the shop as this had never occurred before. I thought maybe something got loose during the service.The gentleman that helped me originally opened the hood and pulled out a wad of NEW cotton wads from my engine, a napkin and a red mechanics rag (please see picture). Note; I have not taken my vehicle to any shop in the last couple of months.The explanation was: Looks like you have a rodentMy vehicle worked perfectly fine after the junk was removed.Update: 9/4/20I spoke to district Manager Jeremy (Thank you for your prompt attention).In all fairness, I do not know if the problem occurred here, but the cotton cloth material looked new. This was my main concern.I will continue being a Valvoline customer, but I will not return to this location.

I have been coming here for both work and personal vehicles for about 8 years and have never had a bad experience. Tramell helped me today and he is very professional, quick and to the point couldnt ask for more!

This place is so great! The person who checked me in was super cute. My car was finished in under ten minutes, and they even gave the interior a quick vacuum! Everything was a fair price and I will definitely be coming back.

Valvoline, in general, is pricey, so be sure to bring your wallet. Having said that, the people here and at the other Valvoline shops Ive been to are the most professional bunch I think Ive ever seen. Its like having your own pit crew- Im thoroughly impressed..!

I wish there was a way to keep cool while they work in to the vehicle. Very hot day and I was sweating while waiting. They do a good job here and usually it goes pretty quick. I knew I had a light out and went a little early to get that replaced as well, but they couldnt figure out how to change it, and then said it was out of stock.

This team did a great job, and communication was outstanding. Its nice to have this option when there isnt enough time to do the work at home. Love this place for all my Light maintenance needs. They get you in and out quickly from oil changes to tire rotations. A few dollars more than places like Pep Boys and a lot cheaper than the dealer without the need to make an appointment and wait for hours. Offering synthetic for $69 and tire rotations for $29 plus they have coupons for $10 to 15% off online. You never leave your car and youre never there for more than 15 minutes. And the staff is super friendly answering any questions you have about your Light maintenance.

Love the great service and attention to my Ram 2500. Oil change was fast and during there inspection found that my air cleaner was filthy dirty and a replacement was in stock. They use the same oil filter for conventional service, blend, and full synthetic. How does that make any sense? Not all oil filters are made to last more than 3k intervals. You guys need to have oil filters that are produced to last as long as the oil you put in our vehicles.

I do all my car maintenance but recently Im not able to. I was a little worried about going to one of these big chain oil change shops. They didnt try and force any of their products. They explained what they had to offer and when I said no, that was it. They checked all my fluids and lights, even showed me the air filter and said it was still good to use. I purchased the oil change and tire rotation which is a little more expensive than I would like to pay but I was in the bay for only 25 minutes! I dont mind paying a little extra to be done in under half an hour. They even used a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts on the tires. Overall, everyone was really nice and professional. I would recommend this place.

Fast and efficient service

Don’t take your car here. They don’t even replace necessary gaskets on your car on the drain plug or oil filter. Also stripped the threads of my drain plug of another vehicle I had.Edit: should be writing the Technicians name that worked on the car last for accountability. Just had to take my car to a shop to fix oil leaks...

This place is awesome! They always keep you up-to-date on what your car needs, and theyre incredibly thorough and friendly. They let you know every detail, even the pressure the tires were set to and the fluids that were topped off. Also, I love that they show you the dipstick when the car is finished! It gives me peace of mind that Im always leaving with a full oil level. Best oil change service by far; would highly recommend!

I have never had better customer service from any other car service place. I called my dealership to see what the costs would be for my standard maintenance and they informed me that it would be double what I could afford. Also, the last time I went to the dealership, it took them 2 full hours to complete the maintenance. I Google searched oil changes near by me this time and Valvoline on Masi popped up. From the moment Eddie answered the phone, I was super happy. SUCH nice, friendly guys and such quick service. I went on my lunch break and it only took about 15-20 minutes. They didnt have an air filter I needed so they told me to come back when it came in. It came in a whole day early and when I stopped by to get it installed, Chris practically installed it with his eyes closed. On top of all that amazing service, they were able to keep it within my budget. I am so impressed! I already referred a co worker and I blab about how great they were all the time. I never write reviews basically because Im just lazy but this was totally worth it. Thanks Eddie and Chris!

Prior to arriving we called with some questions. Jen answered all our questions very professionally and happily. Everyone here is very friendly, Carlos helped us out. He was kind, with great customer service. Reasonable price, $41 for an oil change on our large van. They got us in and out of there in 5 minutes.

Easiest oil change ever. Arrows on the street guide you to the entrance. An employee is waiting to direct you to the next available bay. They have three bays, so there is little to no wait. Every single person I dealt with was super nice and helpful. They show you the oil level at the end so you can verify they did the job.

Best Oil Change I ever had. They were so quick that I didnt have to get out of my car. Didnt try to pressure me to buy additional stuff or upgrade my oil change. Much better experience than I had at my last Jiffy Lube visit. Good customer service and good price. I will be going back again and referring friends and family.

Best place to get an oil change for me. Tried other places to save a couple of bucks but had to wait over an hour for a simple oil change and it felt as if cheap oil was used. My car didnt run as great.This place has me in and out in just a few minutes and the staff is awesome and very friendly and professional.Gonna stick to coming here from now on 😀

I wish Google had zero star.Valvoline didnt update their online schedule for Sunday. Its showing 8am to 6pm for sunday. here, I am, drove 20min from my place for oil change, just to hear they get close by 3.30pm on Sundays. Totally unprofessional. Grrrr

This is my favorite place to get oil changes. The staff works very hard and very efficiently. I accidentally brought an expired coupon and they found another coupon for me and applied it to my bill. This is a very friendly and well managed business.

Vanessa Edward and one other guy helped out and I kid you not I was there 10 min tops and that was with paying and full-service!! Im so amazed!! Im not from here but Im def looking for one of these out in my area. The best part was that I didnt have to get out the car!! For me thats awesome...ive got a 2 year old in the car and its a good 10 min taking her out and back in the car seat! Id give it 10 stars if I could!!

Not content with their service. Tried this place twice. The first time seemed fine but with the second visit. I dont know if it was because they were packed and had a lot of people to serve, but when it came to my oil change. I got less than a quart of oil placed in and the oil wasnt the one I paid for. Shortly after - my car started having sputtering sounds.I went to a mechanic I knew and had my oil drained right in front of me. My mechanic said, Less than a quart?! You could have had some serious problems. Then he pointed out how the color was different too and how you can visually see that it wasnt the same oil. I called Valvoline a week later and was spoken to as if I did something wrong. Why didnt you come back here - if you did we could have done something Because a mechanic tampered with your car, we cant help you in any wayWhats strange is on the phone, the person seemed to get where I was coming from, but kept insisting that I should have drove back to resolve the issue. I commute from Ontario to Walnut close to a daily basis, so to venture on less than a quart of oil from Walnut to Rancho - I could only speculate that something could have gone wrong there.A hit and miss with this place, really. Some people have great experiences - I know mine wasnt fun. Cash & Time wise.

This is the only place I trust to get my oil changed. The technicians are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I love that its a drive thru service because I have two kids, so it makes it easier for me to wait in the car, and the entire process only takes 15 minutes.

The service I received was quick and efficient. The employees were very professional and knowledgeable. They recommended a couple of services for the near future but no pressure to purchase on the spot. No hidden costs and everything is dont right in front of you while you wait! I had a problem with the wiper blades that the put in the first time. I came back and they replaced with no questions asked and no lengthy explanation needed! Ill be a return customer and highly recommend.

They need new management. Lazy, slow, energetic staff. I have been to many Valvolines. This one is by far the worst Ive seen. You guys could do 3 times the business if you had managers who would manager people and make them hustle.
