They tried to charge me 570 for brake replacement and a caliper piston replacement. When I just came from another shop the day before and they were only going to charge me 365. We had a flat on our RV. Hubby took it in about 30 minutes before closing. He said they told him they could plug it but would be better off patching it. A difference of 5.00. Duh. He said they were very helpful. He also forgot his mask so they provided one for him. While waiting for it to be fixed, he watched the workers work. He told me that watching them made Nascar pit crews look like amateurs. Thanks for making our trip better.

The worse service in town.Call this morning to check how busy they are, when arrived it was only one car been served, the guy told me to park my car at the entrance and wait my turn, after 30mn I found out that he started serving someone that came after me(maybe because he speaking Spanish). I waited 1 hour and 45 mn an other gentleman approached me and told me sorry we can do it because you need to change a tire and we dont have that size, while the only tech they have was still doing oil change (1 hour!!!!)Waist of time...

The staff was friendly and gave me what I needed which was enough for a 3 in my book. The only reason I give it a 4 was because they were open on the 4th of july weekend while every other establishment was closed. So in my time of need they were reliable!

Ive visited this Blue flame in the past and havent had issues. But today was the worst customer service ever. Pulled in told the guy I had my own oil and filter asked how long no reply besides pull into the other bay. Pulled in got out waited 20 minutes nothing. Finally catch someone and ask how long for an oil change. Was met with attitude told they were out of oil. Told him I brought my own then was told itll be 15 bucks. Cool I know how much, how long. He doesnt do oil changes. Came home and did it myself which Im more than capable of doing was paying for convenience not a hassle. Just that quick long time customer lost. If you dont like your job quit.

My tires I originally came in for were sold when I got here. Upon arriving they told me they were very sorry and thought I had bought the tires yesterday so she went and got me a new set on the spot of a better tire! I 100% recommend this tire shop, very friendly people!

Stopped in Saturday for a simple tire patch. There were a lot of employees joking around and a lot of customers waiting a lot longer than they shouldve been. Waited about 3 hours with multiple people getting the same thing as me done right in front of me. Disorganized. Unimpressive. All around bad service. The price is the only reason I didnt leave only one star.

This location is really slow. They charged me $50 for a tire that cost me $35 on capital. I would recommend going to the blue flame on capital. Faster service and honest prices .

I agree with Matt on this place. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE!! If you want good customer service and your vehicle serviced the CORRECT way, this is definitely not the place for you.I came in this place around 5:00p to get 4 new tires put on my vehicle. After standing around in the shop for 20 minutes and numerous workers passing by me not greeting me, I finally stopped a worker and told him I needed my four tires installed. He told me after another car was done I would be next to pull in the bay. My car was finally in the air around 6:00pm. I was out the door at 7:15pm. Yes over 2 hours later, but that isn’t my only gripe with this place.As I drove my vehicle from this place, my computerized tire psi took a couple of minutes to register the air that was in my tires. When it finally registered I couldn’t believe my eyes. All four tires were passed the air requirement. One tire registered at 64psi, two tires were at 55psi, and the fourth tire was at 43psi. I guess the workers does not know how to put the proper air in tires. Again, not my only gripe.As I drove my vehicle, I noticed my wheel shaking very bad. I figured I would get an alignment from another tire place since I did just get new tires installed. The shaking continued. I read Matts complaint and took my vehicle to the same reputable tire place where I got my alignment and they said the wheel balance was all off whack which means the place that I got my tires installed did not do their job at all. Money wasted just because Blue Flame on New Bern Ave was recommended to me. I encourage you to go to a more reputable tire establishment if you do not want to spend extra money on their lack of work. One star is too much of a compliment.

Great fast customer service. Wanted to refer me to their larger location on capital with a better selection. I was only going to get 2. But decided to Purchased a full set at a great price for my Dodge truck.

I was told I would be purchasing 17 inch tires and they had a matching set. Only to find out 3 hours later that they had 2 of the tires at another location and had to go get them and upon further inspection the following day I realized they put 16 inch rims on my truck and paid for 17 inch rims. I would never recommend this place unless you enjoy waiting and given a different product than you asked and paid for

DO NOT GO TO THIS TIRE SHOP! Ive been in the car business for years and today I received the worst customer service and tire service to date. I messaged days before to confirm price and tires in stock. I showed up at 10am and they told me 15-20 minutes I would be done. After an hour I had to look for lady and ask what was going on, she said they had to order tires and they would be there in 5 minutes. 1 hour later, for a total of 2 hours I left, with only an Im Sorry. No updates my entire wait time :( and there waiting room was about 40 degrees...no heat for customers??Once I got on hwy past 60mph my vehicle was shaking very bad, and I knew it was either a loose lug nut or unbalanced tire. I pulled over to check as I felt very unsafe and noticed they took off all tire weights and didnt put any back on. So later that day I had to spend $40 more dollars to get them balance...I didnt want to go back to Blue Flame even though they should have balanced them for free, I just didnt want to wait or deal with the poor service.DO not go here. Find a place that cares about customers and does their job correctly..Seriously you only do tires and can not even get that right. POOR POOR Business.

I was hesitant to buy used tires but I can say they have a great assortment of used tires with awesome prices. Friendly staff. I had problems with my TPMS sensors and Jose helped me to sort it all out. Now Im rolling!

When youre on the budget they are the best for tires just make sure that you look at what tires they put on your car do put bigger tires on my car than what was on there originally after he asked me did I want to move up in size and I told him no he still put them on my car now Im riding around with two big front tires to little back tires

Called and setup an appointment for a set of tires. Sent a driver to put the tires on there. They had him wait 2 and a half hours, then came out and said they didnt have the tires. They tried saying that we never had an appointment, and would not let me talk to the lady that setup the appointment. Basically called me a liar over the phone. Yesterday on the phone I was told the set of used 14s had half tread or at least 50%. Today when I used up a morning of mine, driving to this place, and I finally resolved the price issue, then I asked for the tread to be measured. I was assured it was all fine. Then when it was measured, the used set had as the first tire, 6/32, the next one 3/32, the next one 3/32 and the last one 0/32!!!! and this is all for a 2009 set!!! They wanted $120 for tires like these. This was the absolute worst tire experience of my life. I cannot believe this place wanted to sell me a tire with 0/32 tread on it!!!I would give this zero stars if it would be an option.I went because one employee on the phone promised me the $100 in subject line advertised rate on craigslist. Then when I got there another employee wanted to up the price by $50. Then I asked todays employee to stick by the promised price, which after my insistence, he called the owner of the store who agreed to $120 for a set of used tires.They wanted me to buy a tire with 0/32 tread on it, have you ever heard of a tire place like this?!!

Then he finds the right size which is smaller and tries to charge me $5 more bc of the better conditio .i ask them to balance the tire and ahow me the numbers and he refused. So i just said nevermind. I think they were trying to take advantage of a female

On the web it says that they open at 8am on Sunday. Now I’ve been calling since 8 and it now 8:35 and I have not got anyone to pick up the phone. If you’ll don’t open at 8am mabe you’ll should change that time.

Terrible customer service very slow, no one talks to you to ask what you need. Use to be good about 2 years ago,but my last 2 visits were terrible will never go back. Super slow, waited 45 mins no one said anything and I just left. All locations are not like this but this one is terrible

Check around before you purchase tires. Walmart qouted $40 for a new tire and with all the fees, it was $53 plus tax. They wanted to charge $65. I asked could they meet me at Walmart’s price and they said No. And I said are you sure, he said yes, if they are the better price, go there. Very arrogant about it. I’ve never seen this at a car place before; they want your business and will confirm you are right so they can make the sale and keep your business. I will make sure I tell 10 of my friends not to go there.

I wish I could give less than 1 star . Honestly the WORST tire place I have ever been too... Extremely long wait times and no integrity behind the awful work done on people’s cars... all of the lug nuts on my friends car came off while driving due to poor work done at blue flame on new bern ...poor management and all the workers are piss poor except for Josh and Avery.

I called this place 08/23/2017 and ask the sweet little do they put on starters for my 2006 Dodge Charger and she said hold on a minute and put me on speaker and had me ask what kinda services I needed them too do instead I heard a lot of horse playing and the voice of three differ lent men saying. No we dont do that NEXT GUY: no we dont do starters and then the NEXT GUY: why you call us for we not putting starter on. Then after that I heard the lady laughing inthe back ground along with everyone else so Im glad I experience before I ever gave them a choice to repair my vehicle PLEASE BE ASVISED A BUNCH OF MEN WORK THERE AND A USELESS TRAMP ANSWERS THEIR PHONE. If they horse play over the phone imagine what theyll do to our cars. If they are these worst ever. Be cardul because were playing like they had children there but they were the children.

I originally went to their location on Capital Blvd but was referred to the store on New Bern Ave because they did not have the tire size that I needed. I dreaded this because Ive had bad experiences with the New Bern location before. There use to be a gentleman there named Alex. His customer service was great because he was honest and knowledgeable, but it seems that the place isnt the same and the turn over of employees cycles bad to worse. I was approached by a young man and I told him my tires size. He returned with a tire that was visibly dry rotted. I dont think he expected me to check it, considering I am a woman and we generally dont know what to look for. I refused that tire and requested a new one. After 10 mins the young man comes back with a tire in better condition. I accepted the tire but failed to look at the tire size. I made the assumption that if he spent 5 mins looking for the first tire, he would remember the 2nd time. The 2nd tire was installed but as I began to drive away, something told me to check again. Wrong tire size. With no apologies from the young man, I was assisted by another gentleman. It appeared that this man doesnt work there primarily because he was in uniform and his attitude seemed different. This guy managed to located, mount, and check the correct tire in under 5 minutes. As he was fixing the mistake, the other employees were leaning over the tires inside the staring at me as if I had made the mistake. Customer service at Capital Blvd is noticeably different. From now on, it Capital doesnt have what I need Ill just go to another business before I go back to New Bern.
