I have an older European car and I don’t want to pay dealer prices for general maintenance. Torque was highly recommended by a car group I belong too…and they did not disappoint. I needed some work done and I had some questions/concerns. They were extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Overall it was a great experience and I will be scheduling my next maintenance action with Torque.

I had the BEST experience at Torque Automotive. I want to preface this by saying I am a 21 year old girl and was greeted with the kindest women at the front- which is very uncommon elsewhere. This business worked me in to their busy schedule, ordered the parts I needed, and held them for me until I was about to come back from college and drop my car back off. Their pricing was amazing and my car is perfectly functional again. I will never go anywhere else and I would highly recommend this place to anyone- especially if youre driving a Volkswagen!

I depend on the folks at Torque to keep my German as well as Japanese cars well maintained and running. They are friendly, fair, and offer a great service at a reasonable price. In my experience, for BMW and Mercedes, they are extremely knowledgeable, and a better alternative to the dealerships in the area.

I had concerns about my hybrid battery and reached out. Was able to book an appointment with quick turnaround. Fortunately no error codes were given but the team did not try to upsell me or lead me astray like Ive had with other garages. If and when my battery kicks the bucket Ill certainly be back.

I visited Torque or actually The Hybrid Geek when my 2007 Prius finally died up for good. The dreaded red triangle had come on, but fortunately, I was still able to drive the car. I got there in the afternoon, and the tech took the car in, got it inspected, and got back to me before the end of the day. As expected, it was determined that the car needed a replacement for the hybrid battery. We went through over the different options, and I finally decided to go with the lifetime warranty replacement. The decision was based on an assessment that the car still had a lot of miles left on it. (It is at 180k). I have been driving the car for about a month and waited to post the review just in case something funny happened. The car has been driving great—the hybrid battery charges and discharges as it should always have. Overall, I am really satisfied with all aspects. Truly professional, polite, and great service. They were not pushy either when I denied the oil and filter change. I totally recommend them.My only complaint is that I came over there looking for The Hybrid Geek and I had a really hard time locating and realizing that it was a part of the Torque Automotive. I actually drove around the complex thrice before I walked into the Torque Automotive office.

I came in this past week to get my car inspected so that I could renew the tags. I was looking for somewhere near me that had good reviews and was reliable and I’m glad I chose them! They were professional, quick and straight to the point. It’s a little hard to find but when I called them they were quick to direct me and tell me where to go since I was a bit confused. Considering I had two small children in tow they were very understanding and accommodated really well.

Always a pleasure to deal with. Ive been getting oil changes from them for a little over a year now and never had a problem.

All work done on my 2011 BMW 335i coupe has been performed to the highest standards and at the price quoted. There are no surprises with these guys. If some mechanical issue happens to pop up during service theyll go over it in layman terms and explain cost and options without any sales pressure. And as a corporate sales professional for over 20 years I especially appreciate the respectful manner in which they conduct business. I wouldnt take my Beemer to anyone else.

Took my BMW 328i into Torque due to a check engine light. I picked up my vehicle a week late with the same problem that the car had when I took it to Torque. They could not definitely tell me what was wrong with the vehicle. They performed over $500 worth of repairs that did not resolve the issue, printed NTSB and BMW America information from the internet about the possible problem, and suggested that I take the vehicle to a local BMW dealer.

Nice and knowledgeable people with timely service and feedback, would highly recommend. I did feel the service costs was on the higher side but to be expected with the BMW models. I think some sort of reward program or financial incentive for returning customers would be nice as well (not sure if this is already in place just making a statement.

Nothing negative to say here. I had an awesome experience with Torque Automotive. I took my 2014 VW Beetle in for some maintenance. Almost immediately, they called me with a full detailed report on what was wrong with my vehicle. All prices they listed for the repairs were affordable and perfect. This is one of the most honest European car shops in town! I have a MB C300 coupe, They could upsale things before its due like the dealership does and in stead, they recomend the most cost efficient and actually needed things for you car. Unlike the dealership that always want to change something even its not time to due it. I have shopped around and can honestly say this is by far the most service driven and honest European car shops i have found. Highly recommend.

I have a rare Chrysler Aspen Hybrid. They were not able to reprogram the ABS for my first generation regen braking system but Michaeux was always polite on time and transparent. I would certainly deal with them again.

Big props to Simon and Micheaux for their work in getting my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid back on the road. Last September (2020) they replaced my hybrid battery after the original battery had failed after 13 years. A bonus is that they were able to perform the replacement at my home. About six weeks later, the car out of the blue began to shake and a hybrid battery system display light came on. Simon said he needed the car at the shop where he had the equipment to diagnosis it - I had it towed over and within 24 hours he and his Torque teammate Micheaux were able to tell me that an axle replacement (from the Toyota dealer in the spring) had an issue with a leaking seal that over time had drained away transmission fluid. In short I now had a failed transmission. Torque felt strongly that I should take the car and issue up with the dealer. After another tow and talking with the dealer, I am pleased to report that the dealer took ownership of the failed axle repair and rebuilt the transmission without charging me. It was the right thing to do and I credit the dealer with listening and accepting responsibility. But without Simon and Micheaux giving me the straight story and encouraging me to have it addressed, I might have been at a loss of how to proceed. My experience at Torque was fantastic! I bought my mini cooper in for a second opinion since I was told by another place that I had 3,400 worth of repairs and replacements to make. I about died. Brought my car to Torque and they actually EXPLAINED what I needed and why I needed certain repairs and services.I was quoted a price half of what I was originally quoted from the other place. I appreciated their honesty and their willingness to work with me. They WILL be getting ALL of my business. Great job guys!

The staff is always friendly and kind. I recently had work done to my car and Simon (owner) came and picked my car up from my home and dropped it off (to respect social distancing measures). I was continuously informed of the progress of the work being done and made aware of the cost prior to any work being started. The prices are reasonable and I will definitely return.

I’ve used Torque for my Rav-4’s maintenance several times now and I’m happy to keep using them. They’ve been honest with me about the condition of my SUV and anything they’ve noticed that genuinely needs addressed (like a nail in my tire found during an oil change). It can be hard to find a place that you trust when you don’t know much about cars.Their crew has always been helpful and done great work. I have a 2017 C63S Coupe.It is slightly lowered and I have a camber adjustable lower control arm that I purchase and had installed to optimize the alignment.The place where I had the suspension components originally installed, told me that they had made as much adjustment as they could and the alignment was still out of spec.I suspected that information was not true so I decided to get a second opinion and set up an appointment with Torque Automotive. This is my first experience working with them.Doug at Torque Automotive is a “car guy” and also very professional. He was a pleasure to work with. He walked me through what outcome he would see to achieve and we both agreed on it.More importantly he got on the phone with the manufacturer of the suspension upgrade, that I bought to optimize the alignment, and walked through how to make the proper adjustments.My alignment is now within spec and the car drives/ rides much better as a result!I highly recommend this shop based on my very positive experience with them.

I keep returning for the same issue. I think they really dont have a clue. They so called fixed the initial problem then turned around and said it was something that was causing the initial issue to fail. Then they would say we believe its this. So I really dont know about the techs. I used the because they are close to my job and walk to and from to drop off and pick up. Im seriously done with them!

I have been to several local places to service my Porsche Boxster and always found Torque to be very professional in all aspects. Simon, in particular, the owner is very nice and very accommodating. They offer loaner cars and their time estimates are accurate. I believe their pricing is also reasonable and they are always willing to discuss what was done. Their waiting area and shop are clean and well maintained. If something is overlooked or there is something minor they can look at, they dont hesitate to quickly address. All around, I give them As.

As a die hard euro driver, ive had multiple gtis and audis etc. these guys no what theyre doing and for the work the price is exceptional. euro cars are tricky and i trust these guys 100 percent. they mostly all drive bmws and other euros as well. as a new raleigh member im glad theyre so close by. a plus mates

I have known Simon for about three years. When he left his old shop, I followed him to Torque Automotive. I was happy to learn that he opened his own shop. Simon is easy to work with. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and reasonable. His new shop is fantastic. I would highly recommend him for everything from oil changes to engine replacements.

This place is cutting edge and reasonably priced. Shop is top notch from the waiting area to the impeccably clean and well equipped service areas. Simon is knowledgeable and helpful and it is obvious that quality work is his priority. Service was fast also. I have a Lexus, a BMW Z3 and a Toyota and would not take them anywhere else. I had previously had my Toyota serviced at a quick oil change place and they had tightened the oil filter too much and it required extra work to change out this time. Thankfully the guys at Torque took care of it for me (as well as my breaks, rotors and other maintenance work). I learned my lesson and wont go through a quick service shop again. Simon has worked on my other cars at a previous place of business and quality of service has always been evident. Go and check out his new shop!!

I just got to visit the new shop and it is incredible! Simon has been my mechanic for over a year and if you know Audis you know that once they start to age you start to fix everything lol! I had a previous mechanic who specialized in German imports that I felt was not getting the job done so I started looking for a new mechanic who specialized in German imports and thats when I found Simon. I couldnt imagine anyone else working on my car now because every time I bring it in I feel like my car is brand new again! The level of service, the details, the friendliness, the turnaround, the quality of his work and the price you get for all of this is absolutely the best! I highly recommend him for the best service in Raleigh for European cars!

Just had my first service appointment for my Cayman today at the new Torque Automotive. The place looks great, service is impeccable as always. Looks like you could eat off the the floor of the shop.
