Busy, lots of customers, I was able to understand my nail tech, that says a lot. Very satisfied, fixed my hair mess up on my nails before I left, explained to me what was what as far as material we could use and prices, very knowledgeable about the store and what they offer. Helped me choose color and everything. Thanks again ladies!!

The service as a whole was very nice and the employees were also very sweet. But I haven’t have my acrylics on for longer than 4 hrs and my middle nail simply just fell off. I was walking to my car and noticed it fall off. Maybe just be cautious with the acrylic they use!

I left a 1 star because I told the woman doing my nails THREE TIMES I didnt like the polish she was putting on my toe nails. It looked totally different from the polish I picked out. I spoke up on the first nail also. I was so frustrated I didnt get my nails filled in bc I didnt want that polish on my hands. It was very orange and I picked out a pinkish color. Totally different. I understand there was a language barrier but come on I kept saying No I dont like it over and over. If she doesnt understand something as simple as that she shouldnt be working with the public or she should have asked for help understanding from another employee.

I came here to get a manicure and pedicure before my wedding ceremony. This salon is very clean and uses disposable bags in their pedicure stations. I had Patrick as my nail technician and he was extremely detail oriented and made my nails exactly how I had wanted them for the event. I would definitely go back to this salon.

My friend myself and daughter came today they worked us in for a full set for myself paint for my daughter and dip for my friend. Irushed in because my bridal shower is next weekend the tech I had was good she was very attentive. however the guy whose taking appointments over the phone and running around to collect money theyre assistant I guess you could say was very rude horrible attitude! even he scolded my daughter for touching a bottle of polish so bad she was scared and crying he was way out of line and I wont be back unless hes gone Unfortunately he will cost the busines money

Talk about a 5 star experience! I came in at 6:30 pm and Jenny took care of me right away! She was super nice and made sure I understood the pedicure packages that were available. She made me feel like a valued customer. The prices were also very reasonable compared to other spas I’ve been to before. I’ll definitely be back again!! Thank you!!!

The salon is quiet and clean which is great. They do take time, Mimi and Trina or Tina may be..but I still think their work is a bit mediocre...got acrylics a few wks ago,, 2, the polish was lifting in a week. Could see the regular acrylic nail, I dont like that look..and a nail broke.

I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick and he did a wonderful job on my nails! He really Took the time to be detail oriented and was not rushing to get me out the door when I showed up 20 minutes before closing to get acrylics and gel polish!They were all very friendly. I would recommend them to any and all family and friends!!

I have been going here for about 2 years. I started going somewhere else due to getting my nails done on Sunday, which they are closed. I went back two weeks ago for a fill in and was greeted as if it was a family reunion. They are a very personable staff. They let me read my books when I want to read, talk when I want to talk, etc. they are amazing.

They made me feel very uncomfortable as a black woman. Then my toe polish and nail polish are too totally different colors. It looks tacky. And it was my birthday!

LaVee is honestly one of the first salons that I’ve been to in a long time that completely impressed me from start to finish. They take their time and don’t make you feel rushed like a lot of places do. They have done such an amazing time every time I’ve come in on every single detail in my pedicures and manicures. Hands down the best nail salon in Louisville. I wouldn’t ever spend my money anywhere else.

Do not recommend. I went for a walk in appointment. Signed in and waited 30 minutes to be seen. After waiting they took another lady back who came in after me. The other lady did not have an appointment either. I took my business elsewhere.

These people are VERY RUDE!! I went in and every single one of my nails are crooked I picked a yellow gel and you can see through them because they didnt do enough coats! I wanted coffin and they are all different shapes amd sizes. i had to tell the guy doing my nails more than 5 times he was grinding on my skin. He left all my fingers split because he filed so hard and rough! NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!

The best nail salon in the area. You dont have to worry about the technicians gossiping amongst themselves in a different language, the work they do is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing.Everyone is very nice. I highly recommend this salon. I have been going there now for several years, and am very pleased with every facet.

The people are friendly and it has a warm comfortable feel to it. For the most part Ieave with a pretty good nail job, but as for my pedicure, unfortunately thats a different story!!! I NEVER EVER come out completely satisfied!!! And when I try to explain what I want they most often get frustrated and act as if its a bother. Now this is only my experience. I work very hard for this luxury. I want it done right!!!

I came in on June 21st for some relaxation. I signed up for a pedicure. The workers standing there did not speak. A gentleman asked what service was I needing today and I replied a Pedicure. He told me that he would get with me right away. After I signed my name the worker took the sheet I signed on and put it away. A white older lady was right behind me; she was greeted and given a fresh sheet to sign on. The same guy immediately hopped up, looked at the list and called her back skipping over me. I find this rude and inconsiderate, especially without explaining whether this person had an appointment or not. Ive been going to this salon for 4 years, but it has changed with the new ownership. Perhaps he was told green money in white hands is more valuable than money in black/brown hands before arriving to this country. Needless to say, I left and I will NOT come back to such deliberately racist nail salon. I will not patronize in places that edify white privilege!

I went to 4 different salons prior to LA vee. This is where I met May... It may have taken a couple hours due to the horrible set of nails I previously had and well a little customer issue.. Worth the wait... My pink and white ombre nails are perfection!!!

I LOVE coming to LaVee nails! Its always so welcoming and such a great experience! I love Linda, Kim, summer and May!!! They always make my nails and toes look so amazing!

I have had some great experiences so far, except times when my appointment was not honored, I usually brush that off, but not today. This time I am really disappointed because I had taken appointment with Linda during this holiday season a week ahead and was told that I was double booked. Hope they get efficient in the way they book appointments.

May, she rushed my tips and messed them up SO bad. never letting her do them again. henry tried to fix it and i usually let him do my nails but i guess she thought i wanted her to do my nails. i hate them. she put too much glue on most of my nails. i have no time to go back and get them re done. i wasted $40 i will still go there but i’m not letting may do my nails again.

Super friendly staff, salon is very very clean, everything is premeasured and put in disposable plastic containers. My nails look great and it was a very relaxing experience!

One of the guys there or did my nails and he didn’t measure my nails before he put the glue on so they didn’t fit they were too small so the new nails I have on you can see the size of where my own nails were he didn’t trim my cuticles or anything he did a terrible job

All staff were very friendly. I got in quick and they did a great job on my manicure and lavendar pedicure! I would definitely recommend them.

MUST VISIT!!!!!!! Salon was clean and staff was very friendly. I got a pedicure from Michael. He was AMAZING. I told him I worked on my feet and he made sure they were nice and soft. She was very sweet she had amazing conversation and she really took her time. My nails look amazing. I’m so in love with them. I got my nails done here last week and several days later they all broke and blue color on my nails bed. I found out that I got fungus. I will not recommend.

Waited over an hour and the lady kept saying 15 more minuets. I’d advise making an appointment if you even care to go to a place that lets you sit there for over an hour. If you can’t fit someone in you should let them know!!!!! Horrible customer service!!

Truly thought they could grow their salon to be a cut above the rest with quality and customer service. My hope for them was that they would one day be a high end salon in the East End. Sadly, I was very wrong.LaVee is “just another nail salon” amid the hundreds in Louisville who sacrifice quality and service for quantity. Without customer loyalty, their fall will be swift. One must give loyalty to receive it. Yes, Vivian, you are quite correct. I would never be happy at LaVee because I will not understand that the technicians working on me must go away to work on someone else during my appointment time. Perhaps someone does not understand what an appointment means.TO MY MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT I RECOMMENDED TO LAVEE: Please accept my apology for recommending and encouraging you to patronize this salon. That was a HUGE mistake, and I am very sorry.
