I can’t say enough good things about Pro Auto. I’ve moved another 30 mins away from them, but will continue to go back there because they’re the ones I trust. Mark takes the time to explains everything he suggests to repair the car and explains it in a way that I can understand and I’m not a car person. Great value as well compared to others. He has your best intentions in mind and wants to help. I always dreaded going to auto repair shops before finding Pro Auto, because I just felt ripped off every time, but not at Pro Auto.

I had been hearing a banging noise in the back of the car whenever I drove above 60 mph. He gladly took my car out for a spin and figured out the problem quickly. I received wonderful, professional service and will always go back here from now on. Awesome guy.

All around an amazing mechanic! Mark is super honest and transparent with the work he does and what he finds after looking over your vehicle. He will tell you straight up whether your repairs are worth it or to hold off until you save money, or even if its just better to trade in your vehicle for something else. That shows they are not in it just for the money. In todays world thats hard to find. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I was driving down the highway trying to get to work and all of a sudden, there was this awful scraping sound. I got out and looked and something or another was hanging off the bottom of the car.I was new to the area at the time, so I didnt know where to go. I did a Google Maps search and it brought this place up --- thank goodness! The owner immediately figured out what it was, fixed it, and charged me a very, *very* reasonable price.I very much recommend it.

Today was my first visit. I was very pleased with the professionalism and knowledge that was exhibited. They replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs on my ‘02 Camry. I am definitely returning for future work. Highly recommend.

Pro Auto Repair is simply amazing! I was on my way home from a conference when my check engine light came on and my car began to tremble at a stop light. Being that I live three hours away I didn’t want to take a chance and hope I make it home. Luckily, I was able to make it to Pro Auto Repair and the gentleman was understanding, compassionate and assured me I would be back on the road. Without hesitation he told me exactly what was wrong and why my check engine light came on (no extra stuff, like other repairs shops who are out for your money) and immediately began to work on my car. Thankfully, only my spark plugs were to blame. The mechanic was knowledgeable, and reassuring! Being a woman we are typically taken advantage of in a repair shop but, here, I didn’t feel such a way nor did I feel pressured to fix something that necessary didn’t need fixing at that immediate moment. However, he did inform me of something’s that may need to be looked at in the future. I highly recommend Pro Auto Repair 10/10!!

Every time I come in here these guys rock.. I had an issue with popping up my hood for my Chevy 99 s-10.. took it to the Chevy dealer who told me theyd have to do a ton of work and it would cost like 5k.. I called around to other shops who couldnt fix it.. then I called them, I came right in and they took care of me same day!! And only charged my $100!Since then Ive taken all my cars there.. I feel like they offer honest feedback and are very trustworthy people!

I told them what I wanted done, and then they started talking about valve cover gaskets, and oil drain plug orings.... I was waiting to hear about my headlights being out of adjustment like back in the 80s, and they always had to get you for something, lol.But they did a great survey of the car. I knew about the other things. Its a 2004. Its not going to be perfect 🤷‍♀️. But I wanted to get THESE things done, they hit me with a lotta other probably true stuff, and it turned me off.I guess they probably could have just talking my money, but he did tell me that the repair cost was close to the value of the car. So🤷. Fair? Just didnt feel right the way they more than doubled the quote over the phone for the work I wanted done.... With o rings and things I didnt ask them about.

Wow! Daniel was amazing. At the last minute he got us in for a pre-purchase car check and saved us from making a HUGE mistake. Watched him also take excellent car of some young students and did it all an excellent personalized customer focused service work ethic! When I found Daniel and Mark I was new to the area. Reading the excellent reviews they received made me want to check them out. Man, am I glad I did. This place has been excellent! They are honest, fair, and do an excellent job of fixing whatever ails your car. I actually bought a used car from them that they completely overhauled. That was two years ago and the car is still running amazingly well with over 209, 000 miles on it. I bring it in for maintenance every so often and always am confident that these guys took good care of my car. I cannot recommend them any more highly. An honest mechanic is hard to come by so I know I hit the jack pot with Pro Auto Repair.

Did a pre purchase inspection here. Mark was very professional and friendly. He showed me all the places he checked and the places that I need to keep an eye on in the future. Also a lot of places ask you to leave a review onsite, PRO AUTO is not one of them. So their rating has a lot more weight to it. Recommended!

Not satisfied with this businesses practice.Dont rely on ratings. That doesnt tell the whole story. Better off getting the work done at the dealer for the pricing charged at this business. At least the dealer will back their work if issues arise.

Best auto shop I have been to. My vehicle always gets done in a timely fashion and the prices are great in comparison to the corporate, over priced auto shops that I am used to. Not to mention that they are very personable here and genuinely care about your vehicle and getting the best possible deal. Daniel advised me that I if bought certain parts for my car myself and brought them in to fix, it would be much cheaper than him ordering it in the shop. I am very grateful to have found this mechanic.

These guys are great! They are the only ones who take care of my 1970 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. I have always been a fan of local independent shops and Pro Auto sets the standard for what a small independent shop should be. They are down to earth honest guys who make you feel comfortable even if you arent an expert. They dont try to nickel and dime you on the small stuff or up sell you on big stuff. If they give you an estimate or a price they stick to it. Go ahead and shop around for a better price on the work, I bet you wont find it. I referred multiple people to them and everyone has been happy. BEST SHOP IN TOWN!

I honestly hadnt heard of Pro Auto repair until I did some research to find a new auto shop that I could trust in the Raleigh area. I talked to Daniel to get an estimate and figured his estimate was reasonable. The final price was even cheaper than the estimate, they did a great job in a timely manner and I am definitely going back again.

Ive been going to Daniel and Mark since I first moved to Raleigh in 2013. Its stressful moving to a new place and requiring auto work and not have a trustworthy mechanic that you know. Luckily, I came to the right place. I have had 3 vehicles since I first stepped into Pro Auto Repair. Each have been serviced here and I have never had a single issue with the repairs performed. I even bring my girlfriends vehicle in now as well. Their rates are VERY reasonable, and they are two of the most accommodating people you will meet. Ive seen everything from Chevys to Ferraris in their shop. They will take care of you here, and you wont want to go anywhere else to have your vehicle serviced.

Not only did they pinpoint and resolve my problem quickly, they were able to offer additional detailing services and were flexible with drop off and pick up times. We have been using Pro Auto Repair for our familys auto repair needs for several years. We found a gold nugget repair shop with Daniel and Mark. They have extensive knowledge and experience, as well as being congenial and dependable. Weve been going to Daniel for years - he has always taken excellent care of our cars. Though we live about 45 minutes from the shop, we drive our cars (or have them towed if theyre in really bad shape) all the way out to Pro Auto. Weve tried time and time again to find a mechanic in our neck of the woods who is as honest, reliable and fairly-priced as Daniel with no luck - so we continue to make the trek out to our favorite mechanic. I remember when I first stumbled across Pro Auto Repair--I had taken my Mercedes SL 500 to another garage that specializes in German built cars--that repair shop quoted me over $1,000 to do a break job. I got online and looked up the parts and thought to myself the quote was just a bit ridiculous--so I started calling other shops to get a second opinion. Thats when I met the great guys at Pro Auto Repair. They gave me a quote that was hundreds of $$ less and they did a great job. Since then I have referred them to family and friends and needless to say everyone has been more than satisfied with their work. I was going to the dealer and my friend recommended me to Pro auto repair. I took my Mercedes and wifes Bmw in for brakes and transmission replacement. I was impressed by Daniel and Marks professionalism . They advised me not to dump more money into the Bmw and to let go.I was grateful! The dealerships just gave me thousands of estimates and could not even tell me a simple suggestion. I recommend Pro Auto to all my friends.
