I have to say, weve used Allen Kelly several times in the past. This is the first time weve ever had an issue with then. I think we might have just had a bad technician this time. First of all, the technician showed up unmasked. Were still in the middle of a global pandemic. Wear a damn mask when you show up at a customers house! While he was at my home, he only performed part of the service I had requested. When I questioned it, I was told they were so busy with emergency repairs, that someone would have to come back for the regular maintenance. He also stated that someone would be in touch to reschedule the maintenance service. That was over a week ago, and we still have yet to hear from anyone. Not impressed with the quality of service we received this time.

Derek arrived on time and when he said he would. He took a good look at my condenser unit and checked it out. He answered my questions about maintaining my unit and replacing it in the future (Its an R-22 system). In addition, he answered all of my other questions about how I could make my house more efficient in regards to insulation and cooling. Very professional and friendly. My dog liked him too.

Allen Kelly gives prompt service. They inform me when I need to service my heat pump. Once they told me about ants getting into my heat pump, and what kind of damage they can do. I had never known about this problem. So now I spray for ants around my heat pump. I have never been dissatisfied with Allen Kelly.

After emailing the serial number for my defective condenser fan along with other details about being a maintenance mechanic before my scheduled appointment the technician showed up empty handed. I felt its the way companies get more money out of you when they return with marked up prices on part. The technician was professional and timely but $140 for first visit and $400 once finished was a little shock plus the company office said the visit would be $125. Ill use a small business from now own.

Service tech had no knowledge of the full extent of the job. Office had no notes on the part of the job involving closing off two vents in my kitchen. Service tech wanted to just do the system maintence part of the hob. I cancelled on the spot. This was was first time with this company and I wont be calling them again.

We have been working with Allen Kelly & Company for 16 years. They are honest and will shoot you straight. We have purchased both our upstairs and downstairs units from them, as well we have a maintenance contract for 2x a year cleaning and checking the units to make sure they are running at their best. We have referred them to several of our neighbors. As of the date of this review, we wouldn’t use any one else!

Well we had installation of a new A/C unit within the past 2 years. A couple days ago the unit just shut itself off and quit working. We called and that night we had a tech come out and do a temporary fix and all was well. Last night the unit shut down and quit working again. Called the tech this morning and got a appointment set for 3-5pm today. No one showed so we texted at 6:30pm and was just told he didn’t think he could do anything else for us and that we needed to wait until Monday morning to call in for a senior tech to come look at the unit. Ummm it is Saturday evening and it’s 100degrees…cmon Allen Kelly. I guess that means all the senior techs are at home in their AC resting comfortably as I should be doing? I just saw service with a smile & 100% satisfaction. Nope Nope Nope

We have a Pentair pool heat pump that had a low refrigerant error. Well, the AC companies I spoke to before Allen Kelly said talk to the pool companies. the pool companies said they couldnt do much since they dont carry the certification/licensing to handle the refrigerant. I have been trying to track someone down for about 2 weeks to help us out. Well, one of the guys at Pool Professionals (Jody) suggested I reach out to Allen Kelly.I called them on Wednesday and Jason was at our house first thing Thursday morning to help us out. There was actually another issue in addition to the refrigerant needing topped off. Jason definitely knew what he was doing and had the thing up and running in no time. I will not hesitate to reach out to Allen Kelly and Co. in the future!

They were great! Easy to schedule, very friendly, showed up right when they said they would, were thorough, couldn’t have asked for a better service!

My thermostat stopped working and of course so did the AC. I called Allen Kelly first thing in the morning and they sent someone out the same day. I was delayed in meeting the technician due to an extended Doctors visit. The technician called and asked permission to enter my crawl space. He emptied the overflow box, and cleaned out the overflow drain. He was very professional and explained everything to me. I would rate my experience 100%.

Called the company Monday morning with an air conditioning issue and they quickly scheduled an appointment for the next day. However, received a call by mid afternoon that they had availability to come see me same day. The technician who arrived along with his associate (Derek and Dillon) were super professional, personable and worked quickly to repair the situation. The cost to do the repair was very reasonable and I will be using them in the future. Their technicians speak large volumes for the work of this company.

I received a call about 15 minutes before they arrived. They were AMAZING! They were super polite, checked out what was going on, fixed it, took the step to fix the ac as well (maintenance issues) and then explained what they did. They suggested a maintenance program through somebody if not them. Not pushy sales people so it prompted me to ask how much to get the maintenance done through them. Very affordable, polite and I cant say enough about how great this service was! I expected to pay over 500 and I paid a little over 200. Thanks again!

Allen Kelly is everything I want in an HVAC company. Theyre very customer service focused - from the first contact until the job is finished. A few weeks ago I paid another company to service my home system, and signed a twice-yearly service agreement going forward. Then during Memorial Day weekend my system lost all function. I requested emergency repair service from that company. Three days and three excuses later, they still had not showed up. I called Allen Kelly on the fourth day. They promised - and delivered - service that same day! Their Comfort Specialist, Tim, was knowledgeable, professional, neat, pinpointed the problem immediately,and within 30 minutes I had A/C and he was off to his next appointment. My system had failed because the other companys technician never cleaned the condensation drain pipe in my attic - a fundamental procedure during a routine service call. I am canceling the twice-yearly service agreement with them and signing up with Allen Kelly for twice-yearly service at my home, AND a rental house I own. The total cost for BOTH systems is only $8.00 per year more than I paid the other company for just my home! I am confident Allen Kelly will service my systems timely, professionally and thoroughly, AND have my back in case I need them outside regular service.

I use them for my winter and summer maintenance. I have an older unit and they are always very thorough. They also havent pushed me to buy a new one just b/c mine is old.

Long wait times so not wanting to go 4 days without AC asked for after hours service. Instead the guy rang around 3pm that day and was able to visit promptly. Theyre knowledagble and know what theyre doing. Now if only my AC itself would know to keep working. (this model has known issues from mfr)

Andy did a fantastic job root causing the issue with our old unit and helped us pick a new unit. He also offered a window unit for couple days while we get the new unit installed. Within 3 business day installer were here to install the unit. They were right on time. We also did the prep work recommenced by Andy for technician to access to the unit in the attic. They completed the job within 4 hours including giving a new thermostat training to my wife.and I. Later on that day, Andy followed up to make sure unit is working as expected. This is my second year using Allen Kelly. They were recommended by my neighbor and I have no complaints. The office staff was quick to respond. The technician was pleasant and professional. He called ahead and showed up on time. I also appreciated that the technician wore a mask and observed good social distancing during the service call.

Quick response to what should be a warranty issue. The sheet metal doghouse from the Gas Pack HVAC unit to the house has failed again. The top caves in from weather and separates from the house. This time a $250 bill from AK to reshape the metal and caulk. Not happy. Poor install to withstand the environment from the beginning. Customers deserve better.

Derek came to my home to service and clean the heat pump (he was probably finished for the day) but he cheerfully filled in for a co-worker who was very busy on another customers job. Derek did an outstanding job. He was courteous and competent. He serviced and cleaned my heat pump and when his work was complete, he left a detailed description of what he had done. Tech performed inspection of two HVAC systems. He reported that the systems were operating normally. He reported that the humidifier completed a self check successfully AFTER he powered it on. I remain doubtful that it will operate as it should when it is called upon during the regular heating season. It has a very unreliable history of working when it should. We’ll see.

I called Allen Kelly because they had installed the system for the previous homeowner and I knew they would be familiar with it. They were able to come out the next day to my surprise. I got a call the next morning that they were able to come out early. Roger the tech was very nice, they have nice trucks, and he was thorough with the checkout. Very pleased and will definitely use them again, but hopefully the need wont arise.

I had an issue with my heat pump not coming on line after a power outage. Received calls with instructions to remedy problem, no help. Tech, Michael, was dispatched and he determined that thermostat had become defective. Replaced thermostat and resolved issue. All of this occurred late on a Friday afternoon. Weve had a service contract with them for a few years, which gets you a discount when you buy a new system. So it was finally time to replace our A/C, and they made the entire process easy-peasy! A previous technician, now salesman, analyzed our needs and made recommendations A 2-man install team, came, laid down tarps in the house, did an amazing coordinated install effort, taught us the basics of our new thermostat, and cleaned up after themselves. Technicians arrived during the service window. They worked in parallel - one servicing the outside AC compressor while the other serviced the attic heat exchanger. Both took extra for social distancing - gloves and masks. Service took less than 1 hour - no problem found.

Excellent service

Sadly they tried to rip us off for nearly $4000. I had used them for years and bought 2 systems from them. Told me I had a bad evaporator cool. Had another company come check and there’s nothing wrong with it! Will never use them again.
