For our last repair, I really appreciated having a written, itemized list of service options to choose from so I could make an informed decision. John, the owner, is so rude. We had an appointment this morning and he just canceled on me due to the rain. Not reschedule. Not I’m gonna be late. But told me I need to call someone else. Santa Air is one of the best AC repair companies in the Triangle Area. It was a pleasure dealing with them from start to finish. Highly recommend SantaAir. We had issues with our thermostat and AC and sent a message over via Yelp. Received a response within minutes and they were flexible, fitting us in the next morning and arrived early. John was professional and quick to diagnosis the problem. Home repairs aren’t the cheapest and always pop up at the worst time but they were able to make that process less painful and give some tips on how to prevent future issues.

Contacted Santa Air on a Monday. They inspected my 15 year old a/c on Wednesday and installed a new compressor and evaporator on Thursday. The service personnel were prompt, highly professional, courteous and skilled. The installer, Tyler, actually answered questions regarding problems that I was having cooling the second floor in my home that other companies were unable or unwilling to address. I am very pleased with Santa Air and will be calling them to replace my upstairs unit. They were referred to me by another happy customer of theirs. I have had trouble with the dampers in my HVAC system getting stuck, so to speak. Ive had 2 other groups come out to try to fix it. Yesterday, I had SantaAir out because the dampers were misbehaving again, and today I have heat again. The technician also installed the 2 new smart thermostats I recently bought from Duke Energy. The technician was respectful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. He did a great job at a fair price and they came out the same day! I would recommend SantaAir to friends and family.

Honest and fair, keeps promises and they are neat and punctual.I called Santa for an estimate to replace my HVAC (gas pack) system. We used Santa Air a year ago for some duct adjustments and found them to be honest and fair in all respects.I also got an estimate from THE big box retailer who did my Generator, and to my surprise, John at Santa Air offered a better deal and his estimate was much more straight forward. Better warranty, too. Santa Air scheduled my installation to happen within a week.The crew from Santa Air was on time, polite and respectful of my newly seeded grass. LOL. They did a clean installation of a big Lennox gas pack and they left the area looking better than they found it. John the owner came by later to check on the installation and to install my new thermostat. He customized the system to also run my home humidifier with a new Nest wifi thermostat. Brilliant! Santa Air is literally the BEST in the area. My home is finally starting to show its age. In 2018, I had a leak in my HVAC and found Santa Air. When I first met John, it was like meeting a friend. I usually worry about people trying to get money from me in these situations but not with Santa Air! John is very trustworthy and you can tell he is an honorable person, taking pride in his work. He fixed the problem quickly at a reasonable price. He was phenomenal at explaining the issue. The other day, while doing yard work, I saw water dripping down the wall next to our A/C drip line. Called our home warranty and another additional insurance we have. Home warranty didn’t cover the described issue; the other insurance sent out a plumber the next day. Plumber said it was an A/C issue. After some research and perfect reviews, I reached out to SantaAir. The office was very friendly and helpful and was able to schedule a visit the following day. Victor was communicative prior to his arrival. He checked out different areas of concern but couldn’t immediately identify what the issue was. He re-evaluated the crawlspace, and did find a damaged A/C condensation pipe. He provided video and pictures during discovery and repair of the problem. Pricing was fair and the work is under a 1-year warranty, which is a great bonus. Victor showed expertise, diligence and professionalism. Definitely recommend!

5+ star service! John and his crew (Victor, Tyler) are the best HVAC professionals around. We have worked with them several times - different homes and systems! John advised us well each time and saved us a lot of money in the long run. You get great service and lasting products at good prices.Online scheduling works very well, and they came promptly - in mid-July with 95+ degree days, no time to lose when the A/C is not working! They provided a lot of information and options, so we could make a good decision. In the end, we only went 36 hours without A/C downstairs. They are professional and, respectful of the pandemic, came with masks and were careful not to touch only what was necessary - and wiped everything, including the doorknob on the way out. They also provide a lot of insight into how to better maintain our units and keep our costs down.

Had an excellent experience having my Smart Thermostat installed. The house I bought several years ago came with a lot of undocumented work done over its lifetime which took the technician some time to untangle. But once he was able to make sense of it, not only did he improve the wiring and install my device, he also was intentional in teaching me along the way. Much appreciated. Not the cheapest option, but totally worth it especially if you have a unique or complicated setup.

He didnt try to do any false repairs or unnecessary work to try to troubleshoot, which I appreciated. Ive had dealings with Santa Air a few times over the recent years. The first time, John showed up. After that encounter, I only wanted John for my subsequent needs. The others might be amazing, but I know John is! Punctual, informative, totally confident in what he does. I just recently had to have a dual pack replaced, and they looked after that job like it was going into one of their own homes! And the installer / technician went the extra mile also. Definitely a FIVE STAR business!!! I’ve had John work on my heat pump for three years now!!! It’s an old system and I’ve been told in the past by other places it needs to be replaced, but John has saved me thousands of dollars by replacing parts for far less than what others charge. I know eventually I’ll need to replace it and I definitely will be using John for that too!!! He’s honest, knowledgeable, a whole lot cheaper than others, and just a super nice guy!!! He’s the best!!! I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!

Tyler from the moment he arrived was friendly, informative and professional. He invited me to be his assistant while he walked me through my entire HVAC system, explained its current working order, did checks on all the components and then topped it off with checking to see if my HVAC systems and thermostats were already capable of easy upgrades as I want to install smart thermostats. SantaAir has been great to work with. After getting led down the wrong path by a bigger box company that couldnt give me a straight answer, John came over and diagnosed the issue immediately. He explained my options and costs and was completely transparent and recommended a plan of attack to eliminate possibilities without going right for the most expensive option right off the bat. That kind of transparency is something that will keep me coming back to John and SantaAir going forward.

Tyler was very professional with inspecting our 2 units. He provided an honest opinion and explained every detail of the repair. With the virus he had gloves on and cleaned our thermostats & door handles before he left. John the owner is also honest and professional. Great business!
