A little over a month ago Aspen Dental got me in for an emergency visit for unbearable wisdom tooth pain. After an examination and X-rays revealed an infection, I was scheduled for an extraction over a month later, and told to get a water pik. I was also scheduled for a regular tooth cleaning today. The pain got worse in my wisdom teeth and I ended up at South Shore Oral Surgery (FIVE STARS THERE, BTW), I was prescribed an antibiotic and had emergency surgery the following week. Although, I was disappointed with that first visit at Aspen Dental, and would NEVER recommend them for oral surgery, I decided to keep my regular cleaning scheduled for today. The office is closer to home, and I assumed a big chain dentist couldnt possibly mess up a regular teeth cleaning. My appointment was scheduled for 3 oclock and I ended up leaving at 5 pm without being seen. I had to pay out of pocket for ANOTHER round of x-rays and I was told after a hour and a half wait in an exam room that they werent able to do my cleaning because they didnt have the time. When I said this was a waste of my afternoon and I wished someone would have told me sooner... the dentist suggested I go elsewhere. You bet I will!
I have an infection in my wisdom tooth. They got me in the same day I called. They need the oral surgeon to pull it, but got me an Rx to kill the pain. In and out very quick.
I just began routine care with Aspen Dental and wow! The staff is wonderful: attentive, patient, experienced, and thorough. As someone who doesnt necessarily enjoy a dental visit, I have found a home at Aspen Dental!
Staff is always so nice. Doctor P. Is informative, skilled, impeccable. The place is all re done. Clean as a whistle and state of the art.
I had not been to the dentist in years due to negative experiences in the past. I was very nervous going in. But my whole experience was really positive. My dental assistant (Danuta) was very patient and kind to me as I struggled with having the X-ray tools in my mouth. The dentist was very kind and informative and answered all my questions I had. (Sorry I forget her name!).I’m happy to not have to be scared of going into the dentist anymore!
I generally do not give reviews or like chain dental companies but I need to say this has been one of my best experiences I have had in a clinical setting in a very long time. Especially the office manager Claudia who was patient, kind and so responsive!
These people are wonderful that work here!!! I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM HERE, They are so caring and understanding and patient. They helped me so very much! I love them and would highly recommend Aspen Dental!!
I think this is a good place for general dentistry...maybe. But for surgery maybe do more research. The 1st red flag was when I asked if I would meet the surgeon before surgery and I was told you dont need to meet him. Then on surgery day, the MD didnt even introduce himself and his bedside manner was awful (Brockton location for surgery). I wouldnt recommend Aspen for surgery or for anyone who has a dental phobia at all. Choose a smaller less franchised dental office. Dr. Pederson was nice but she isnt a surgeon.

I have ptsd due to dental abuse I had in the past (different dental place) so after calling around I decided on the place that worked best for people with crippling anxiety and I picked aspen in quincy. The best decision I have made! They made me feel relaxed and comfortable and talked me through all my future dental plans. So inexpensive and they even gave me lessons on good gum health! They let me decide my dental plan and worked with what was best for me! I have never been treated so kindly by any dentist place in my life! I feel spoiled!
Nowadays is very hard to find good customer service. Most providers, apparently, don’t have time for that, which is a shame, considering that they are getting paid to do the service, and nothing, absolutely nothing is for free. At Aspen I did not only find good customer service, but the service/procedure itself has the best quality. And to have found a place that can provide a good service, a place that “checks all the boxes”, makes me really happy.
The staff is all great. From the front desk to the hygienists and doctors. I can always get right in when Im having any problems. Dr. Pedersen is awesome. Always makes me feel comfortable, ( because as most of us know the dentist is not our happy place). LOL
From the time I entered the office everyone was welcoming and patient. Once sitting in the chair the surgeon Dr. Lee was so caring and gentle. I’ve been to a few locations and all both treated me with dignity and respect. Thanks!

I had a tooth extracted there yesterday and I was impressed how easy it was and how coordinated the process was especially considering all the precautions because of Covid. The technician and dentist were kind and explained everything throughout the procedure. It was pretty much painless too. Im so happy to have found them. Ive had a terrible experience before at a dental office and they were nothing but excellent.
I have never been to a dentist as Aspen Dental in Quincy (Newport Ave) ever in my life!!Reasons why.....1) All the employees are very nice and fun type people2) The work all these people do are very knowledgeable about all the type of work that they are giving you!3) Making appointments is very easy and you dont have to go back to the front desk, they do it right there, now thats convenience4) The funny thing about Aspen Dental is the TV 📺 is right in your dental chair and its cable 😄 and its in color too!If you have to go to the dentist and you dont have one, well go to Aspen Dental, it worked for me, it should work for you!!Thank you Aspen DentalYou are all real great 👍 people, keep it up!! Great dentist and very professional. I was surprised to see they were open for routine cleanings with the spread of covid going around but they followed good protocols to make it safe. Face masks, gloves, and face shields were used and doors locked until you are called in to the building. Highly recommend
I was highly disappointed with my service. My first visit, which I thought was a cleaning, was a meeting to basically scare me into paying $4400 for services I didnt need. I was scared into at least getting my cavities filled, but it turns out they werent actually cavities, only soft spots. I wish I had gotten a second opinion. After the fillings, my teeth did not fit into my mouthguard (which I had from a previous dentist, and I have been wearing it every night). I went back in to fix this issue, but still my teeth are actually a different shape than what they were before meeting with a dentist here. Furthermore, it has been almost two weeks and my claim has not shown up with my insurance. I hope my claim is received soon. I didnt want to have to write this, but in this case, I honestly dont want another person to go through what I did. Please dont go.
Ive always been terrified of the dentist. The older I got the more embarrassed I was to go and I always pushed it off. I recently chipped a tooth and a friend referred me to Dr Pedersen at Aspen. The whole experience was a game changer. Between the check-in, X-ray, examine apt, and the dental work - all of it was so laid back and I had zero anxiety being at the dentist as I usually would. Dr Pendersen made me feel totally comfortable and talked to me like a friend. Im switching my husband and both kids over to her as well. 10 stars. :)

So far so good. Ill continue to update. I was very hesitant to go through Aspen because of sn experience 10 years ago. I have major work to be done and because of the pandemic I had an emergency. The receptionist and doctor went above and beyond for me who is a high risk patient. Their compassion and proffessionslism was amazing. I go back for impressions next week and surgery in 2 weeks. I also might add that it was not all about the money to them it was about me. Coming from another dentist where it was all about money I felt this was the place to go. Hoping the rest of my journey is as positive. Great job to the Newport employees taking extra precautions to keeping everyone safe
I brought my mother here to get a tooth pulled out. All the staff are kind, and are very knowledgable in what they do. Filling out new client health information is made easy on an iPad and any questions relating to procedures were answered by staff or dentist. The only downside is that there is no translator for Chinese clients, so I helped translate.
In my opinion this place is a money jam. So even thou that you need to do simple teeth cleaning, they wont simply do that, They will ask you to do all sorts of exams first that you dont need, this will generate a time for them to put all sorts of scary tales storys regarding your teeth and will tell you 100% that everyone needs a deep teeth cleaning for 1200$ and they wont proceed with a regular cleaning until deep cleaning is done with them and only with them. Dr. Pedersen went above and beyond while caring for 4 cavities I had since my last dental visit with a previous dentist. One of my fillings was experiencing pain and sensitivity after seeing Dr. Pedersen and she was diligent in correcting the problem; she decided refilling it was the best option and even called the day after to check in. She was patient, professional, and caring.I didnt have the best experience with my teeth cleaning; they were rushed for time and did the bare minimum and were too rough. I will most likely seek out a new office for cleanings but would highly recommend Dr. Pedersen if you need dental work.
How this place have 4 stars baffles me. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. All this place wants is your money and they do not care about you. I came in on time to my appointment expecting to get a regular dental cleaning done, but was told I needed to do an X-ray. I stated I didnt want to do it if my insurance wont cover it. I was told by the front desk my insurance would, so proceeded with the X-ray. Then I was told I needed to get deep cleaning done and needed some teeth pulled. First of all, why the separate appointments between xray and getting cleaning done when we expected to get regular cleaning. What a waste of my time. Second, we just got sent a bill saying our insurance would only cover $50 and we would need to pay the rest of $98 for an X-ray. Why on earth does just an xray cost over $200? Not only does this place overcharge on everything, they scam people too. Avoid at all costs.

I had the best time at Aspen Dental. Going into the office I had stomach cramps, I was naucious, I was sweating, I was afraid!!!!!! From the time I was called into the office till the time I left I was made to be reasurred and so amazingly confident about me having my smile back again which I never thought possible. I was no longer scared however very concerned about the cost!!

My dentures are great. But EVERY appointment I have had there always gets changed, claiming it is at a different time rather than the time they originally tell me. It is a pain as I live an hour away, and have to set up a sitter for my two little ones.
They just try to take your money instead of worrying about cleaning your teeth. They said I needed deep cleaning and my treatment plan came about $500 after insurance costs. After I realized that they are just trying to take my money, I went to a different place and had my teeth cleaned and my treatment cost was only $80. I will never go back there.
Very unprofessional front desk and support staff. Every appointment I had was rescheduled. Its hard enough for me to clear time in my schedule for a dentist appointment. I expect that time to be kept. I dont need a reschedule every time. I also felt similarly to other people in that I was being solicited for a more expensive service than I actually needed. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Aspen Dental is the best. I was going to my previous dentist for years, I always go for my 6 months routine, when I told them about my gum bleeding, they said: you just need to floors. And I went to Aspen Dental they discover that my gums was infected, I needed immediate treatment! All the specialist are kind and professional.
Last week was my first time that I went to aspen Dental in Quincy. I was very impressed from the service that I got there. All the staff was doing an excellent job. The doctor was so nice and very professional. The manager was very friendly and respectful person, it was very easy to communicate. DA was so nice and she did a excellent job to. I am very surprised from the condition, everything looks clean and neat. I do not know to say what was the best there. Everyone acts very professional, well prepared for their job and very respectful. I can say that I love Aspen Dental.
I brought my daughter in to Aspen Dental in Quincy. Dr. Pedersen was extremely gentle with her knowing that she isnt a fan on the dentist. I will recommend this office to anyone I know! Great Staff!!
Great experience! I had some trouble with another dentist office and Aspen of Quincy was able to get me in that day for my cleaning. They even handled calling my insurance and changing my Primary Care Dentist. Freddy at the front desk and the dental hygienist Nicole really made my experience excellent. Happy I made the switch and would recommend them to family and friends.

Avoid this place like the plague. I will say the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, you rarely see the same dentist. All they are interested in is pulling your teeth. What happened to the days when you tried to save teeth? Dentists that work at these places have to be from the bottom of their class. Only want to sell dentures. SAD!!! Will NEVER go back!
The staff at the Quincy office always friendly. However, during this recent visit for my 6 month routine cleaning, they checked my gum and told me I needed deep cleaning. I do brush my teeth everyday with ultrasonic brush, use floss, and antiseptic mouth wash. I asked them why my gums suddenly got worse after 6 months? She does not know. She refused to give me regular cleaning and referred me to the front desk to schedule a follow-up appointment to do deep cleaning. After I asked the staff to confirm my insurance coverage, she gave me a print-out that shows I need to pay over $1000 out of pocket after insurance. I asked them to postpone the deep cleaning appointment until next year after I save up the money and requested for the regular cleaning instead. They refused. I was very surprised that I am not allowed to choose the type of service I want to receive. You know that feeling that hits you when you are being scammed? That what I felt at the time.
I was here for a dental cleaning at 10am on 12/13/2019 Friday. I arrived 20 mins early. When I walked in, I was received by an African American lady (young, curly hair, heavy set) at the front desk. She asked me (without saying hi or how are you) what do I want. I told her about the appointment. She said it was cancelled because she could not reach me. But I have not received a call or voice message asking me to confirm that I am coming. Whats interesting is I did receive a text message at 8:18am this morning confirming the appointment at 10am. I asked if there is anything she could do to help me get treatment and she said no. When asked why it is double booked, she said she does not know. When asked to see the manager, she said shes manager and is only one there and I am not able to talk/see anyone else. She also raised her voice and tried to cause a scene while there are other patients watching her in awe. When I started to call Aspen customer service, she asked me to leave the site. So I had to go back to my car to make the call. I explained everything to the customer representative. She apologized, empathized my situation, and confirmed that I did have an appointment at 10am at this location. But she is not sure why they booked two patients at the same time. I asked if shes able to talk to the lady at front desk directly. She agreed. When I walked in the office for the 2nd time, she rudely told me that she is with another customer, which is also African American. I observed her very closely and noticed she had different attitude. She was nice, had a smile, and tried to be helpful. She took a whole 10 mins in order to delay seeing me. I immediately realized she was targeting me because I am an Asian. She would not dare to speak to me in that way if I am white or black. She got on the phone with the customer service representative. She explained that why I could not be seen at that time. When asked why there is still an appointment showing in the system for me, she said she had no idea in a very blunt way. She claimed that I raised my voice, which was completely untrue, in fact, she was the one that raised her voice and tried to cause a scene. I am a timid Asian female and very sensitive to my accent. I always speak very lightly. I am not confident enough to raise my voice. When I got back on the phone with customer representative, I told her I would like to have an appointment while the rude lady is not there. I had no idea the rude lady heard it because I spoke very softly (actually at that time she was with another patient already). She said I AM HERE EVERYDAY! to show that I should consider not coming here any longer.I made a complaint to the corporate office regarding this negative experience. I felt discriminated, intimidated, and offended. I felt unsafe while I was at this location. I know if I were black like she is, she would have completely different attitude. I will forever have a concern going back to that location and dont believe I will.
As someone who has severe anxiety about the dentist, Dr. Pedersen and her entire team made me feel comfortable and helped ease my anxiety. I had some major work done and if it wasn’t for this amazing team, I probably wouldn’t have gotten it done.If you are like me and have major anxiety going to the dentist I highly recommend you try Aspen Dental in Quincy and ask for Dr. Pedersen.
So far my experiences with the people and services here have been excellent. Still have some more work to do on my dentures. And Yusra as my DA has been a great help with my questions and appointments.
Aspen didnt take my insurance so my first visit was free! They took such good care of me. Therefor Im paying out of pocket just to b around real kind hearted people who truly care about my Teeth!!
After getting x-rays and an exam by the hygienist and the dentist I was told the following: it wouldnt be possible to replace the filling that fell out due to issues with the tooth and tooth nerves and I would need a root canal and crown...also not possible to do a regular cleaning due to gum disease and I would need a DEEP cleaning. The total cost for these treatments would be $7,319.00. The next day I was able to see the dentist I had seen 2 years prior and was told I had NO gum disease and was given a regular cleaning and the dentist removed the old filling and put in a new one..total cost 165.00 By the way the dentist has been in practicing in the same location for 38 years.
I came into the Quincy office looking for replacement dentures and I couldnt be happier with how I was treated and how quickly I got my dentures. Everyone in the office was helpful especially Carly who sat down with me and helped me get started with my treatment.

If I could give this place a zero star I would.The people that works at the front desk are loaded with bad attitude. When I had called in to request my X-ray. The person on the phone said I had to go in and sign a waiver. Which then I did. But they only gave me one X-ray when I PAID FOR THREE! and told me there was only one in the system. BUT THEY TOOK MY X-RAYS Only a couple days earlier. And they were closed on the weekend.theres a reason why they have a really LOW RATING on YELP AND GOOGLE.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY.SPARE YOURSELF THE EXPENSE AND A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.
Today I saw Dr. Roohi and D.A. Yusra. The work done on my teeth was exceptional! I can’t thank you enough for letting me see that my own teeth are worth saving, and fitting me for my partial. The Dr and the DA worked seamlessly together to make my visit very comfortable. I will most definitely refer my friends and family! Proud to be a part of the Aspen Dental family!

When my existing filling fell out, I reached out to Aspen dental and they took me right in, gave me a full exam and took care of the missing filling while fixing a few other issues I had all at the same time. They were fast, they did a great job. My bite is perfect and Ill be going back soon!

Ive had my teeth cleaned here for two years. The staff is professional and friendly. They are usually running on time or ahead of schedule. They even stay open until 7PM on Monday which is great for my work schedule.

I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned but Im not sure they even do that. After getting Xrays and my gums measured, my treatment plan was for a Deep Cleaning of my gums that was going to cost about 5k. What a scam. I mean, the end of the appointment was an entire sales pitch with financing options. I just wanted my teeth cleaned.Went to a highly recommended small practice in Marina Bay a few months later where they cleaned my teeth before they even took Xrays. They said everything looked fine, I just had alot of tartar buildup. My teeth are still fine 4 years later with no deep cleaning.
The staff is very nice but the service is poor! I could never schedule an appointment to fit around my busy schedule or I would have to wait weeks for an opening. Stay away from franchised dentistry!

Well after reading a lot of negative reviews and not really having a choice of going there because I have no dental insurance and in desperate need of getting some dental work done and needed to finance it so I decided to take to plunge and make an appointment. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to the dentist and anxiety thru the roof but I needed to get it done cause I have held off way too long. So I went made my appointment after all that I have gone thru the deep cleaning some extractions (which was traumatizing to me)and what not but I knew what I was in for and what needed to be done and I honestly couldnt be happier. The staff is extremely nice and really make you feel comfortable I really dont have anything bad to say about them!! Ill be moving out of Quincy soon and even tho they will transfer my stuff I will actually miss the Quincy crew!

I would like to say how impress I was with this office. The cleanliness, the professionalism, and the most important part friendliness this office provided was great. I was beyond scared about going to the dentist. Lets face it my teeth werent in the best condition considering the years of neglect they been through but honestly have to say my fear went away. The hygienist asta was very informative and taught me all about gum treatment and why it is very important to take care of my gums. Dr. Roohi was very gentle and kind when looking in my mouth. The assistant Yusra was a doll. she was very kind and welcoming. The treatment plan they came up with was very reasonable and it is exactly what I need to get my smile back on track. You can teach anyone to do a job but you cant teach them to have people skills. TWO THUMBS UP

I am veteran and was entitled to a free cleaning and free services for a weekend designated for people like myself. When I arrived I was happy to get my teeth cleaned and was never told they did t have a dental hygienist in at that time . I traveled with my newborn son at the time and was highly upset . Then they rescheduled to not remind me of my appt on 3 occasions after reassuring me they’d give me a call to remind me of my appointment. I get this might be a bit careless on my behalf as well . 3 appointments is a bit much however I had. Newborn and mom brain and still do . He was 5 months at the time and I was in a transition living at this time as well . You’d think a company offering services to veterans would be decent, I suppose not . They’re rude over the phone and In person when you try and explain your issues so it became not worth it at all . I even tried Watertown’s location and I get the same thing . Not as bad but geez . I don’t want someone with needles and scalpels on my mouth after being disrespected but the front desk. They might have a good word with the ortho and have them stab my mouth up ! Lol I’ll stick with SMALLSMILES / KOOL SMILES .
First time and the experience was great. Staff is kind and professional. Pricey though
