I was blown away from the professionalism from Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning. The service department scheduler was extremely nice and helpful. He was able to squeeze me in the following day after my initial call. I was pretty sure I knew what the issue was and he gave me a reasonable quote right over the phone. The repairman arrived earlier than expected. I received a text message stating he was on his way and I was able to follow along on a map as he got closer to my house so I knew exactly what time hed arrive. The repairman that came to the house was able to get my issue fixed in less than an hour. Thankfully my repair came at the low end of the quote. They will be the first company I call for any future heating and/or air conditioning needs in the future.

Good advice given for things I need to do.

Jason was our service tech. Because of Covid, I left him to do his thing. I have been using Puyallup Heating since 2015 and have only had one issue with one service tech in the past. The company quickly sent another tech to redo the poor work previously done. I am assuming Jason did a good job this time. He said everything looked good except for one part on our heat pump that would need to be replaced within the year. He said the service report would be emailed to me since they now use tablets rather than paper for their report. At end of service I was told to call in to Katie to make payment by credit card, which I did. She said she would send me the receipt and necessary paperwork. I ended up calling three times over the span of 9 days in order to get my receipt and the paperwork of the service agreement I had purchased. Each time I called I actually spoke with a human being but was given some sort of excuse as to why it couldn’t be sent then but promised it would be sent by the next day. After the third time calling I finally got the receipts but have yet to receive the service tech report stating his findings. I really want to give this company 5 stars but I can’t because of all the trouble I have had just to get my paperwork. I have emailed asking for the remaining missing paperwork. It’s been 2 days with no response. I wonder how many more times I will have to contact them to get that.

Repeated visits to make adjustments to our ductless heat pump to insure proper working order.

Initial contact was good but it went downhill quick. after initial visit the filled refrigerant in a/c and told us all was good (charged us 750)within 36 hours a/c blowing warm again. we have a leak okay going to be another 500 to come out? why wouldnt a professional company offer the leak test the 1st time. beware shoddy repairs and Katie the dispatcher that another story in itself. use at you own risk.needless to say we replaced the whole system with another local company.

You need a new elements for an electric furnace and he replaced them in a timely manner and explained an alternative 4-in filter that is easier to manage for a landlord on a rental great installer

We had Erik from Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning come to our home last year. He was very professional, honest and informative; while helping us choose the most economical and beneficial heating and cooling solution for our situation. Unfortunately we were unable to proceed at the time. This year, we contacted Erik directly and he had retained the original quote, measurements, pictures, etc... He had an updated quote to us within a few hours with some minor improvements, handled the communication with our lender, etc... Very simple.Installation was scheduled within two weeks. My total experience with Puyallup Heating & Air was phenomenal from start to finish. Brian Egan was our point of contact and he was was exceptionally communicative and honest with me throughout. I was most impressed with them when he tried to convince me to spend less money on a system that is best for our PNW environment than what I thought needed through my own research. I ultimately ended up going with the more expensive system, but his honesty and candid responses made me feel at ease with our purchase and this company.Installation: My wife and I have been exceptionally isolating during this time of COVID. We have not been in contact with any friends, have been working virtually, and have not eaten out or even have food delivered. We have not broken our bubble. With that said, we knew we needed a new system and just needed to break our bubble for a day to have this done. We were exceptionally apprehensive about having them in our home. I purchased jumpsuits, surgical masks, and booties for them to wear. They very gladly used them and even thanked me for ensuring their safety while in our home. I was most impressed with how often they changed their booties (every time the came in or out). They were very thorough, clean, and professional. The three gentlemen got the entire installation done quickly, smoothly, and it looks great.I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend this company for any and all HVAC (and even plumbing) work. Couldnt be happier with the service we received when having to replace our furnace and AC. Brian was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and answered all of my questions. When the team came out to do the work we discovered a leak in the water heater. Thankfully they were able to take care of that at the same time. All of guys on the team doing the work were friendly and professional, even with my curious, sometimes too loud dogs around.

I had a problem with my furnace (35 year old Coleman 3400-818) in that it came on when the weather was warm and I had the thermostat set to off. The only way to turn it off was to cut off the electricity at the breaker box. I had had this problem before, and it then turned out to be a bad (Honeywell) thermostat, so I replaced the replacement thermostat, but that did not solve the problem. I called Puyallup Heating and Air Conditioning. They were very busy due to the onset of cooler weather, so I had to make do with space heaters for about a week. Jason T. was the tech who came out to repair my furnace. He was very courteous and professional, as well as knowledgeable about how to test for malfunctioning parts. He replaced the sequencer with a new one he had in his truck, and then tested the furnace to make sure it was functioning correctly, all in under 1 hour. Thanks, Jason and Puyallup Heating and Air Conditioning! My only (minor) complaint was that it cost a bit more than I would have liked but my house is now ready for Winter. I will call them again if my furnace needs repair. Thanks again!

We built a new home 5 years ago and Puyallup Heating was great to work with on the design of the air and hot water systems. They installed on budget and schedule and the systems have performed great. We have had some service requirements along the way and they have been quick to respond and always strive for the most economical way to resolve problems in a quality fashion. The whole experience of replacing my furnace and adding air conditioning was effortless. Erik explained my options without the usual sales pressure. Great service! You get a 2 hour window for your service appointment, but I received a phone call the morning of our appointment to let me know exactly when to expect my technician, Jason — that was a nice touch. Jason was respectful, competent, friendly, and took the time to explain each troubleshooting step to me as he went along. Less than an hour after he arrived, fuses were replaced, I learned which signs and symptoms to watch out for vs. which shouldn’t concern me, and I had some idea of what I should expect long term for the lifecycle of my heating system — as a new homeowner, that was incredibly helpful for my budget planning. I moved in this house a couple of years ago. Towards Fall of that year, I decided to have my A/C and furnace checked in preparation for the first winter in the new house. I saw that there was a decal on the A/C and furnace and it was being serviced by Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning. I gave them a call, and never regretted it. Jason, one of their technicians, was so friendly and very helpful in letting me understand their system. This year again, Jason was the one who helped me with my new heat pump. Id give Jason in particular and Puyallup Heating in general a five-star rating!

Service personnel have in-depth knowledge of the equipment theyre scheduled to service. Theyre professional, courteous, prompt, reasonably priced and efficient. They rescued me from a bad A/C install with another company in 2005 and have provided superior service since that time. We were very pleased with the crew that came out and installed our new furnace/air conditioning unit. Mark, Kevin and Brian were friendly, professional and hard working. Very impressed. So far the new system works great and were waiting for more hot weather to fully enjoy the AC. Erik did a good job walking us through the options available to us and actually recommended the most reasonable option.

I called Puyallup Heating after hours on a Monday for an issue with my furnace and they had a tech at my house first thing Wednesday morning. The tech was right on time and knew within 45 seconds what the noise issue was. Turns out it’s a known issue with the Carrier unit we have. He had the part on his van and was able to get us taken care of in one trip.It wasn’t a cheap fix but it came with a level of certainty that it was taken care of and I know we will have a working furnace going forward.

As a consumer I take partial responsibility for my bad experience, horrible service and low quality of work because I trusted a what seemed to be local and reliable company. After numerous failures on their part including: quoting me prices then trying to raise the amount later and making me prove to them I was quoted lower, their installers complaining to my tenant about how inconvenient and bad of a job it was for them to do, multiple issues shortly after install, no show or late showing to appointments and now over a year later have had 3 separate instances of their poor workmanship ; wiring wasnt correctly done, burning smells and noises which were both found to be the results of packaging pieces(plastic and cardboard) left in the unit. Do not be like me, do more research, get multiple quotes and if you need a strong referral to a quality company I have used since on multiple projects both heat and ac related go with Kliemann Brothers in Tacoma.

Not only did he fix the first system we worked on with the second system was not fixable. We had Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning come out to do a check up on our York Gas Furnace and Heat Pump that are seven years old. Jason did a wonderful job of explaining why we needed a part for the heat pump to extend its’ life expectancy. We trust his judgement. He actually told us last year we would need to make this change in the near future. Jason is very professional and courteous. He always puts on shoe protectors when he comes inside the house. Blown capacitor. He had the parts on his truck. Fixed in 20 minutes. He also checked my sytem and the refrigerant when he was there. Efficient, convenient and, FRIENDLY!!!! Thank You
