Personally I have had lots of issues here at this school.Instructors unwilling to teach end would rather be i their phones than teaching or making lessons plans. I have spent hours sitting in an empty class because I was required to be there, with no assignment or Instructor.Teachers take upwards of 5-10 smoke breaks a day, whereas students aren’t allowed nearly as many breaks or can’t leave the premises. It is IMPOSSIBLE to find an instructor to help you. Instructors will constantly threaten to “clock you out” arbitrarily. So you never know if your hours are correct. Instructors rely heavily on the textbook and will not teach because they want you to read from the book and automatically understand 100%. There really isn’t any teaching going on in general . It is hard to show up to school every day when these things are happening.It’s a very expensive school, and they will still try to nickel and dime you for any extra information or instruction even though they don’t teach very much to begin with.Some instructors care more than others, but it feels like pulling teeth trying to get them to teach. Even though I pay to be here to learn and they are paid to teach.Save yourself the hardship of trying to transfer out. Make sure you look at all of your options clearly before choosing a school to attend. They are cheap with their supplies and they let things get really run down before replacing them, despite the fact that tuition costs keep rising.

Cristy is a fantastic stylist and I’m super lucky to have found her. She’s creating a wonderful color correction on my hair, working with the natural gray coming in that I wanted to match, by taking my hair to platinum.She had me come in for a deep conditioning treatment prior to beginning the color correction, to make sure my hair was ready for processing safely. She gave me lots of tips about caring for platinum hair. Then when it was time to process the color, she was so careful, explaining everything to me and using the bleach sparingly in all the right areas. We knew it would be quite a process to eliminate all the stubborn brown smudges throughout, along with a whole bunch of brassy blond, while keeping the integrity of the hair. I came in with a pretty big challenge for Cristy, and she’s transformed my hair beautifully so far! We’re almost to platinum on the first session! One more time to get me there, but I’m already super happy with the results. And I haven’t even mentioned the hair cut yet! She did an amazing job with that, too! I’m beyond thrilled with all of her work.Thank you Cristy, and thank you to everyone at Taylor Andrews Academy for making my visits an extremely positive experience.

My daughter attends day class there at the Provo location. I have a serious problem with how the secretaries put in her time. She told me that it takes them 3 to 4 days to put her time in. She also told me that the time clock does not work some weeks. Which I think is very very ridiculous, that it takes so long to put her time in. Especially when theres two of them at the front desk daily. Not only that Im paying over $22,000 for her to attend that location. If these issues are not resolved in a timely manner!!! I will be withdrawing her from that location. No parent has money to waste on a school that cant fix the time clock or put their childs time in daily.

Rhiannon is amazing. She has been coloring my hair and bringing in more of the natural root color. I LOVE her work. Her haircuts are amazing too! Highly recommend her.

I have gone to regular salons and honestly get better results at TA.. I love going to Cristy Moody.. She is so good with my hair color. My hair always feels amazing after she is done and I can maintain it after. She is personable, talented, and my favorite!

Check other schools out before you consider this one. I went here for a few months. The school is understaffed to where you can’t get help when they overbook for clients. Students aren’t being held accountable for their actions. The lack of communication is hilarious with administration. None have responded back to my emails or voicemails. I still haven’t signed a drop out form. I came to the school a few times and was told they don’t even have my contract. This was from June and we are now in August. Which just adds to their inadequacy.

Cristy is amazing!!! I kept calling her a magician and I totally mean it!I had been putting way too much protein on my hair, and it was literally breaking off :(We had to cut a few inches off to get rid of all the broken pieces.It looks so much healthier now! She also helped me pick out some new products that will bring my hair back to life!I’m forever grateful to her!!! ❤️

Autumn Bills is absolutely incredible! I had never gotten my lashes lifted before, but she put me so at ease the first time. She did the best job, and I truly got so many compliments on her work. Cristy Moody is the best stylist!! She takes as much time as needed to make sure your hair is EXACTLY what you want it to be!! The ONLY reason I’m giving this 4/5 stars is because one of the instructors on the floor (Eden?) rudely came up to Cristy while she was doing my hair and said “normally we would make you stop this service because it’s taking so long and make them reschedule. Because you shouldn’t be here past your scheduled time.” - in what service industry do you tell a client/customer to “come back to finish the service” because it’s taking a long time to get it perfect? It was so rude and I felt so bad for my stylist! That was absolutely an inappropriate time for her to have this conversation! I’m an industry that thrives on word-of-mouth and referrals, it’s appalling the lack of interpersonal skills this woman displayed. And as an INSTRUCTOR, no less! Pretty appalling!

I had 3 colors in my hair….6 months of gray (trying to grow it out) and brown color from 6 months ago, and a yellow brassy color from I dont know where. Cristy Moody started with a cut that was amazing. My hair has never just gone where I wanted it to until she cut it! Then she worked on removing the permanent dye and the yellow (alien) color. It was a process. I never was worried about what it would turn out to be. She was careful, explained every step to me and I ended up with my hair all one color! (A salt and pepper gray that looks fantastic!). Thank you so much. It was a great experience.

Rhiannon Carter is an incredible stylist. She is helping me with the process of letting my hair accept its natural grey color. She added beautiful highlights around my face to accent my other grey color. Rhiannon gave me a perfect haircut as well. Taylor Andrews has a positive and happy atmosphere. The instructors/teachers are amazing as well. I loved my experience there from the moment I walked through the doors to when I left as a satisfied customer. Thank you!

I am so lucky to be able to attend one of the best Aesthetic programs out there. Taylor Andrews started their Basic and Master Aesthetic programs at the beginning of 2020 and have come so far in just one year.There are so many services offered, and the actual program is one of the best. I looked at a lot of schools before I picked Taylor Andrews and I haven’t regretted the decision once.They offer, basic, master, and level 4 laser training. You also get certified in classic and volume lashes, as well as a full makeup artistry course. The spa area and treatment rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. I’m obsessed to say the least!The instructors are so knowledgeable and amazing. I’m so thankful and grateful for the opportunity to attend Taylor Andrews.

She pays so much attention to detail, that even a picky person like me left extremely satisfied with the results every single time. I was very excited to go and get my hair trimmed since it had been a while and I was thankful to have Cristy Moody work on my hair, let me just say my hair went in fragile and frail and came out fierce and alive !! I have been to Taylor Andrew for over a year now for men’s haircuts, and they do such a great job. I have done walk ins, called ahead for an appointment, and even started working with a specific stylist Abby Joffs, and they have all been spectacular. They always ask me questions about what I want for my haircut, and they do free shampoos.

I’ve been going to Taylor Andrews on and off for eyelash extensions for the past few years.Recently I came back for eyelash extensions and found the best lash artist I’ve worked with before— Melissa Hoppal. I’ve never received better sets of eyelash extensions. Melissa is very knowledgeable and passionate about doing eyelashes. She is well acquainted with different types of lashes and has helped me find the best suited lash extensions for the look I like as well as great retention. When applying the lashes, she knows different methods to attach them so that they look natural, don’t irritate your eyes or stick together (even if you have many layers of lashes). She is sanitary and uses quality products. In addition to great work, is her kind and genuine personality. She goes out of her way to take care of her clients and makes sure they have the perfect eyelashes they’re after. Personally I feel like a new woman when I get mine done lol! I’d recommend Taylor Andrews and lash artist Melissa to anyone wanting beautiful eyelash extensions at an affordable price.

The new secretary or front desk help is so rude. She makes me want to never come back to that business again. Please put her somewhere else she has blond hair, an she is very very skinny. I left that description of her so you know who Im talking about.

I cant believe how good Courtney did on my hair and beard trim this evening. She took the time to go over what I wanted done, asked questions and really listened to what I wanted. When we got done, the hair was cut perfectly, and the beard was very neatly trimmed. I couldnt be any happier!

Madison Replogle is by far the most talented hairdresser I have ever seen. She doesn’t usually do men’s cuts but every time I have gotten her my cuts have been stellar. She is very knowledgeable about good products to use and very friendly!

Abby has done my hair a couple times now and every time she has done amazing. I run all hair ideas by her because she just gets it. 10/10 would recommend.

I usually go to Dollar cuts (I know my mistake) but after going here Ill be coming back time after time! Taylor Andrews is a very clean and friendly establishment for everyone. The best part about my visit was my stylist, Beth Norwood! She was so good at communicating what I wanted and even with me leaving most of it up to her since Im not one to do different things with my hair she made it look better than it ever has! Melissa Hoppal was very professional and knowledgeable about the services she performed for me. I have thick and wild brows that have always caused me grief when shaping or filling, after she performed a brow lamination they were picture perfect I could wake up looking polished and put together. She also performed a lash lift which added to the ease of getting ready each morning without having to fuss with curling and shaping my lashes to achieve my desired look. Melissa was a part of Taylor Andrews esthetics program, you can tell she has been receiving top notch instruction from her work!
