I’ve recently moved to Provo and after finding this gem there’s no where else I’ll get my hair cut. Kohl gave me an incredible style on my first visit that I wasn’t expecting and is a true professional. I have a large scar behind my left ear and he has always taken extreme care when other places have nearly drawn blood from being so careless.Don’t let the $40 price scare you - get yourself a qualify haircut and enjoy the cozy and warm atmosphere. You get what you pay for.

Out of this world barber shop!! hidden in Provo of all places! Can you believe it?!! Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles has nothing on these guys!! These guys are professional and detail oriented. Isaiah has cut my hair two times now, and he always does a phenomenal job. It might sound exaggerated, but I need you to understand that I have traveled to more than 8 different countries and this is ONLY the second time that I have found a guy in the barber shop industry who has so much passion for what he does. That being said, if you want to get a haircut that you love and youre going to be happy with, Isaiah is the guy. The atmosphere is welcoming, quiet, and fun.

I moved to Utah about 9 months ago and didn’t know much about the state or area. I was looking for a good barbershop and The Man Barber was a highly rated and recommended one to me as I was doing my research. I called and got an appointment scheduled. I ended up Having Kohl as my barber and he was awesome! He is an awesome barber and super nice and professional. All of the barbers they have are super friendly and professional. They are all highly skilled and take pride in what they do. I have been using Kohl for quite a while now and don’t plan on using anyone else or going anywhere else. The price is very fair for the type of treatment and product you receive. I would highly recommend The Man Barber and Kohl or any of the other great barbers to anyone looking for a great barbershop to go to!!

Great place to get your haircut right on Center street in downtown Provo. The guys here all really know their stuff and know how to treat different types of hair. They are all engaging and know how to make you have an enjoyable experience while getting your haircut. Kohl has cut my hair a few times now and he always takes the time to make sure I am happy with the way things turn out. I would recommend him to any of my friends. The price is well worth the quality of cut and treatment you get here.

This barber shop is amazing! By far the best one that Ive been to. A friend recommended that I check it out, and Im glad that I did. I schedule all my appointments with Kohl, and have even started bringing my two young sons to get haircuts from him. Kohl is very personable and greets me by name when I walk through the door. He does an amazing job with cutting and styling hair, and is also great at shaving. Its clear that he takes pride in what he does. I cant say enough positive things about this place. I just moved into the area and needed a new barber. I did my research and found the Man Barber. This shop gets great reviews for a reason! The vibe...the barbers...everything is on point. I walked in and instantly felt at home...from the cool decor to the banter between the barbers...this place just feels right.I have had the same person cut my hair for MANY years and was nervous to have someone new do it. I chose Reise (the owner) and could not be happier. He clearly loves what he does, and is very, very good at it. He made me feel comfortable, did exactly what I was hoping for...and the level of services provided for the cost are a steal.I could not recommend this place more and have found my next barber for as long as Reise and the folks at The Man Barber will have me!

Ive been to a lot of barbers, mainly in Chicago downtown. I moved to Utah recently and was given a recommendation for the man barber. It does not disappoint! Great group of barbers. I work with Colton and he is technically savvy, fun to talk to, and refreshingly humble.

My hair is something I deeply care about.. When I first moved to Utah I hard time trusting a new barber shop, that worry ended when I first walked into The Man Barber. Everything about the shop and the professional Barbers who do god level work, is amazing. I personally had Kohl as my barber, he was extremely professional yet so easy and fun to talk too. I could tell from the begin he really cares about his clients and the professional work he does. At the end of my haircut he even matched my hair type to the best products. Some of the barbers are INCREDIBLE, like 10 star tier worthy, but some of the others mess up my hair every single freaking time. Experiment at first to find out who is good, but once you find a good one stick with them...if one of the barbers messed up on your hair they’ll do it again, don’t trust them. But the good ones are always reliable.

Incredible atmosphere, especially sitting in the second chair with Kohl. he is extremely precise and and takes the full hour to perfect his work, within that hour it is full of great conversation, music, arts displayed, and vibes in general. over the last year i have been able to build a solid relationship with Kohl, and he will be my barber for quite some time!

Best haircut I’ve ever received. The barbers there are all awesome and great at what they do. Some may say it’s a little pricey but you will never receive another haircut like this anywhere. Worth every penny. The bottled coke is a plus too ;)

This is one of the best barber shops I’ve been to. When I was looking around for a place to get my hair cut, I found The Man Barber online and wasn’t quite sure about the pricing, but I decided to go anyways. It was definitely worth the price and the barbers are all super friendly, as well as being great at their job.

A friend has recommended this to a lot of people with good success, so I decided to give it a try. I dont think the place is bad necessarily (they were kind and professional), I think I just had a bad experience. I like having short hair, so I asked for something short, but it missed the mark. The sides were good, but the top was too long. I asked a few times to have it cut shorter, but after each trim it was still too long, and I eventually got too embarrassed to keep asking (and I think I was out of time anyway). Unfortunately Im also pretty embarrassed with the cut.Again, I dont think the shop or the barber were bad necessarily, but there was a pretty big miscommunication between us.Edit: They did reach out and offer to remedy the situation. Due to personal reasons thats not possible, but they do take care of their customers and I appreciate that.

I have gone to many different barber shops over the years and never go back to the same one more than once. I always like the haircut but never love it. The Man Barber changed it all.My barber obviously cared a lot about how it turned out. Though he was young, he clearly knew what he was doing and enjoyed it. He is an artist in his own right. I think it is very telling that he mentioned doing art outside of work (painting, drawing, sculpting) and haircutting is just another one of those art forms.If you want a haircut that you are fine with, then you can go about anywhere. If you want a haircut that is tailor made for you and that you will love, then definitely go to The Man Barber. I will definitely be going back.

Our barber was Cole, and it was his first time doing an undercut. Cole did not follow the photos we provided, and when we asked for a refund he was confrontational and unprofessional. He refused to admit that he had not followed the reference photos, and stated that the off-center lines looked okay. The environment was relaxed and in good in general, but the services are overpriced and our barber was untrained and unprofessional. I recommend Boneyard Barbering if you want a better haircut.

I walked in to the Man barber on a limb hoping to get in, my family and I were in town staying in the hotel next door.I was greeted with a smile and a offer of beverage ! I couldn’t believe these guys had bottled coke so cool !My son & I sat with the barber Kohl, he was very clear and to the point with our consultation, he found a haircut for my face shape that I loved, he was very kind and professional, I enjoyed the banter between the barbers you can tell these guys enjoy the work they do !If you’re thinking about trying out a Barbershop this is the one ! Excellent experience! Drey is an artist with the straight razor. If you have never had a straight razor shave, its a must. The head shave was awesome and relaxing. And he tamed my mane (aka: beard) he shaped my beard and educated me on what he was doing and why. Shop atmosphere was awesome and chill. No more going to beauty shops! I don’t what the big deal with this shop is it’s like people are excited to go get a overpriced haircut that isn’t worth $40 any day of the week. I have had no luck there and had multiple buddies go in and have to do the dreaded month long grow out of a bad haircut. They say there barbers are “highly trained” but most them haven’t been trained since school and the other barbers don’t have much to teach them. Much better haircuts in the area for cheaper and more of a relaxed and experienced vibe for sure.

My barber, Isaiah, was awesome. Easy to talk to and made sure to ask multiple times if things looked okay and if there was anything I would like changed. Took off a star as the experience initially walking in was not great - a barber greeted me while sitting and staring at his phone the whole time. I understand it is a casual atmosphere, but it was unprofessional and off-putting. Other than that, wouldnt change a thing.

I needed a last minute haircut for a wedding. I saw the man barber and the reviews looked great. I was able to walk right in and get seated with the barber Kohl. Kohl is a nice kid but he does not know how to cut hair. He destroyed it. Another barber shop said I would have wait until the parts cut wrong would have to grow back before they could help.For a barber to represent himself in a shop that charges $40, says he could do the cut, and that he had experience, you trust that in the beginning.It is misleading the public to say you can do one thing, and can’t. Their reviews must be because they are nice guys, definitely not for the quality of their services. Even with the other haircuts I saw coming out of there. It’s just not the place to go for a quality haircut.

Very friendly crew that cares about the finished product. There is definitely some hipster vibe there, but the fellas are down-to-earth working class folk that just enjoy what they do. And the hospitality was far above what I generally expect out of a barbershop. My barber was Kohl, the apprentice, and he did an excellent job. Would certainly recommend.

Ive been in the shop twice and have a standing appointment every four weeks to get my beard trimmed by Reise. Its a great atmosphere and all the homemade products smell amazing.

Outstanding serves, great location and an amazing crew! And yes they provide beard trimming as Well! As I was sitting there getting my hear cut a nother costumer walked out and I heard one of the barbers say to the other You made him look hot! That made my day. A more expensive and longer time haircut. But its worth every penny. Other places I need another haircut every 2 or 3 weeks. This one lets my hair grow out and still look good. And my barber is the best. Ive had him for a year now. And I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I love this barbershop! Today was my 4th or 5th haircut here with Colten. I love the experience of a haircut, hot towel, neck shave, and wide ranging conversation from baseball to food to hair and shave products. Do yourself a favor, stop with the lame $15 haircut, and treat yourself to a real old school barbershop experience. You won’t be sorry.

Wow. Had my hair done by Karson. He’s only been doing it hair for 3 months, I was a little nervous at first, the guy did an awesome job. Karston showed me how to style my hair and showed me some tricks. Also I watched Reese cut some ones hair, the guy is a master. The atmosphere of the place was nothing I have never experienced. The only thing that kinda sucked was the ac was broken in the place. You definitely get your money’s worth here. I am coming here for now on.

Killer Haircuts: Probably the best haircut I have ever had and I usually go to a new place every time. A really neat shop and all the barbers do a great job. The only reason why I havent been back is because its $35 per cut and I dont want to pay that much every time. Still a reasonable price if youre looking for a really good haircut.

Always love my haircut from any of the barbers. I’ve been going for 6 years now and can’t remember a bad experience. Walk-ins aren’t easy to accommodate, but they do their best to fit you in as soon as possible. Above all, the atmosphere and barbershop conversation is why I keep going.

This is easily the best barber I have been to. To start, the atmosphere and barbers are way cool. They are into the rockabilly scene and it is way legit. The music they have is always interesting. Now for the most important part: the barbers cuts. All of them are incredibly talented and passionate about their work. Reese and Isaac have both cut my hair and I would highly recommend either. They are also really funny. Overall, they are way legit there. If you are willing to pay a little more, you will be very pleased.
